It's smart to wait for actual data on safety and efficacy before getting an elective medical procedure. Until they release the actual data from the clinical trial with their own product its impossible to know whether this works and the delayed release of the study data says a lot itself
Great point too on the A1 patent application numbers. Not many people realize that those are patent pending status and not granted patents
Lol. Every point here is laughablely inaccurate
That's completely false. Results could have been released anytime since completion of the trial. Often these studies are presented at conferences too long before they are ever published
People bought into the hollow PR. There was no substance in it. I don't think it's sustainable though without actually releasing the actual trial results and showing actual efficacy. Glta
They must be "wonderful" since they still refuse to release them
Exactly. Until data is released it's just PR
Sorry - I've been doing medical research for many years and that's not accurate. The results could have been released anytime after the trial completion. They do need time to finish the statical analysis but that typically takes 2-6 weeks. Most companies release results of clinical trials quickly and often give interim reports even during the trial. Also, it should not take a year to analyze results and submit them to a peer reviewed medical journal. That is moving at glacial speed. Hopefully the results are positive - it is possible. I will only believe it when I see them.
This is a stall tactic. There is no reason they could not have released the results today (or a year ago). This is just yet another vague PR release that still gives no data to prove or disprove efficacy or safety.
I'd be skeptical. I lot of stem cell clinics in the US make false claims because of lack of regulations. In Russia it is probably much worse
Hard to get new doctors to sign up when they refuse to release the clinical trial data proving efficacy and safety. Many doctors subscribe to the idea never be the first to try a new treatment and it applies here especially without level-one evidence to support it. They never should have conducted a clinical trial if they were worried about the results. Here we are 98% drop since the summer highs last year and still no release of trial data. Its hard to make a case that it will be released anytime soon either. They could and should have released it last year or earlier this year if they wanted to.
I also don't think trial results will see the light of day anytime soon. But it looks like the trial was completed 8/31/18. Not that it makes any difference the company has given no indication results will be reported on time or anytime soon

Reverting to form again
Well said. One of the most concerning things is where are the trial results. If they see the PPS dropping daily for a year why not support the PPS and release the results if they show clinical success. I think we all suspect the same answer here and it's why most have sold off their position long ago.
Agree with both of you. But a second trial may still be in the planning stages and still be identifying funding first and undergoing institutional approval / IRB before being posted on clinical trials. I would not hang my hat on that though. It's a lot of speculation as you mention and without better transparency we have no way of knowing. Not many will accept blind faith as a strategy going forward
Agree. That is well-reasoned and what I was speculating here too. Rapid disclosure I think is almost always the best strategy. It's better to report clinical success or failure early so you can let people absorb it and move on because usually there are multiple good paths forward either way. Glta
Good catch - that sentence seems to be intentionally vague
Fair point too. At any rate I remain skeptical as numbers remain anemic on most recent ER and lack of scale
That's what I was thinking. I just did not explain it well enough. I was more interested to know the patient charge. 2-3K would be comparable to other cell treatments like PRP at least in some clinics
No idea if that is accurate but the numbers seem to make sense. Maybe the doctors charge $3K for the procedure for a $2600 profit? Have they reported the procedure cost per patient? If this is accurate CMTH really needs to scale rapidly for the math to work
But 2045 is just around the corner. Only a few trading days left until then
Sorry, someone has dibs on it already :)
If anyone thinks this stock is a Buy I have a Greenland to sell you
They have three utility patents which is great. The rest are patent applications and still undergoing patent prosecution. Looking quickly they are also method patents
It's also hard to take comfort in don't worry about the huge paper loss they are not bankrupt yet. That's not the most effective way to pump a stock

It's a tax write off for me and lesson learned. I started making it back since I sold. Will take time though
You are right the red flags were impossible to ignore. Massive dilution and no positive catalysts on the horizon and people were hoping for large scale revenue growth in the latest quarter. That was a big ask. And this company shows no urgency in reporting their clinical results. I got the message in early July - too late but glad I finally wised up and got out. Is painful watching it bleed PPS every day
I would think the company should (and could) release the trial results today. That could potentially support the pps and help start to reverse market sentiment. It's not guaranteed to change this trend though. It's terrible to think of all money invested and lost. I should have taken my profits last summer but sold recently at .0033 and learned from my bad mistake
How far the mighty have fallen. It is sad that a lot of this was caused by poor operational execution. I got out at .0033 for 21K loss and learned my lesson and hopefully will make better decisions going forward. This latest filing was even worse than I expected. Glta
Fair points... They may try to make the clinical trial reporting deadline by the end of the month. If that holds it really could be soon in matter of weeks. You can make a case they plan to release them sooner than later and of course there is a less optimistic view too but still reason for hope. I hope for the sake of shareholders they come out soon and they are a positive catalyst. They really could use it. I am on the sidelines now but hope for the best for everyone. Glta
It sounds like they are planning to release them sometime within the next 12 months. They is not really too soon. Unless I missed something here
Don't hold your breath
This is a clinical application they should explain better on their website. If the goal is improving brain cells recovery post-stroke it will be difficult to impossible to administer intravenously since the blood-brain barrier would make that prohibitively difficult. Direct injection would be a possibility but with obvious risks including infection. Also not sure there is much clinical evidence yet on efficacy. May be similar to the findings of stem cell therapy and cardiac tissue recovery following MI which has not lived up to the initial optimism. That said ED is the easier target since cell delivery is a lot easier.
In general I think with any medical procedure patients are informed of all potential risks and then sign a risk sheet acknowledging all potential risks. And the possibility of lack of improvement or lack of a "minimally clinical important difference" would be part of that informed risk disclosure process. Most doctors I would think are not going to reimburse treatment costs since the risks are usually disclosed to patients in advance. I am just speculating though since I only know general practice in surgical settings but not what is done specifically with this particular treatment.
Agree with most of what you said. At the end of the day I hope this company resurges and meets expectations and I hope the longs here are all rewarded. I think the ED application is the most promising. Glad the technicals reversed and I really do hope a big rally is coming. Glta
Thats exactly right. We have no insight into these claims. And I wish the company would release the clinical trial data. I am just disappointed in the company and the clinics to make these claims without offering their own clinical trial data to support them. Maybe this works and is safe or maybe it does not. But as someone who has been doing research for a long time it is surprising almost a year after a study completes we are still waiting for results of a relatively simple study. I know the clinic is making that statement but it is questionable when they have not provided their own results to support it
