Filing with the SEC to become a mandatory fully reporting company also matters here. I didn’t know they were operating under voluntary filing. I imagine mention of increased transparency is based on a need to satisfy larger investors.
We are approximately 7 weeks since the restart of production. Anyone know the expected pace and yields of production? It’s reasonable to expect in that timeframe that there would be news related to that coming out especially considering the stated purposes of the bridge loan.
We are 6-7 weeks out from resumption of production. We should see news on that front. Fingers crossed.
RS or not, this company has huge promise. This is a buying opportunity. It’s not complicated.
My 2 cents...
- A company like this (pre-revenue) needs money to scale up. Increasing outstanding shares to get more $$ harms the investors. So they don’t want to and choose uplisting faster as a better option.
- To scale up we do need more $$. The pace of scaling up seems to have quickened. So we may be in a forced position to uplist quicker than expected, thus necessitating the option to R/S (which scares folks enamored with extremely high numbers of cheap shares enjoying their huge gains on mere penny increases)
- uplisting allows for institutional investors allowing for additional funding without significant negative impact on shareholders
- if R/S occurs, it’s a necessary evil.
- most R/S that occur in companies don’t occur for these reasons, so it’s not a good comparison
- I’ve been asking about timing in several posts. I believe the timing may be due to pressure from partners and institutional investors who want to get moving more quickly.
- I’m hopeful the pps increases on good news to where it won’t be needed, otherwise praying for the minimum R/S
Not convinced we still won’t see the big payday. GLTA
I really believe KT thinks a RS is going to be needed. I think the high range of 1 to 40 is that high in anticipation of the pps dropping (because of shareholder rxn to the RS) allowing them the flexibility to still get to a high enough pps after RS to uplist.
The let down is that if you’re carrying hundreds of thousands of shares or millions, the payday won’t be as big as anticipated. But it will still be big.
I’ve been in a long time. I see the possible good, and I see the obvious possible bad (for shareholders). Again... this didn’t need to be brought up right now unless there’s a need to uplist very soon to satisfy financing for growth, or all the other nasty possibilities people have brought up.
Again, on a steady, slow growing stock, why? Everyone knows in pennyland most investors are not terribly savvy and susceptible to being reactionary to news and potential. So it should be expected that talk of a RS would have a negative push on pps.
I get that, but the timing seems odd as it doesn’t seem necessary to have a RS. And the RS numbers are nuts.. 1 for 10 to 1 for 40...
Given the stigma associated with RS, why now? The timing to me is odd. I’d like to know why now? Is something cooking? Or does he not have the juice to get us to pps needed to uplist? I’m not totally afraid of a RS, but there’s no denying with this type of stock it’s rarely a good thing. This would have to be the exception not the rule. And he’ll need to convince some folks how that’s going to be the case. People aren’t pulling these questions out of thin air, they’ve been burned before and they think they see the same pattern.
To me it’s odd timing of the option to R/S. The growth has been slow and steady of late. On the surface there was no reason to believe it wouldn’t get where it needed to. So, given the stigma associated with R/S, knowing it would put downward pressure on price, why now?
To me this means they know something is up...
Meeting should be very interesting. I agree it’s likely BOD appointments, financing, and next steps. I think any talk of a R/S is bad. And it’s completely unnecessary. There’s always a plummeting of price before and after. No need to rush uplisting. It can happen over a period of 12-18 months with good solid growth. I once rode Jones Soda from .30 to $20+... and that was just a silly soft drink. This is a game changing product. We just need to remain patient and advance slowly. Big jumps will eventually come.
Not worried about news or no news. Scaling up a company and a penny to dollars is extremely difficult. We know things are happening behind the scenes. We just want to see the share price jump. But if I have to wait a little longer for better news I’ll wait. I’m fine with the slow climb before big news. This way it’s less susceptible to spikes and drops. It’s not a matter of if, but when IMHO. Go KBLB!
Is the Friday afternoon climb back? Looks like it’s coming.
Don’t underestimate the slow climb over the last month. All positive and increases the chances of a bigger bump on news. We actually haven’t been sideways.
After years of .03,.04,.05.... I think many of us are excited about the move to .30+ and now are maybe getting itchy in anticipation of bigger moves. It’ll come, just keep breathing. Patience.
Today’s new about Milliken is nothing but good. Polartec got bought by a stronger company. That’s good. Not to mention KBLB’s potential in all the other sectors wasn’t dependent on one company. I’m looking forward to the months ahead. GLTA
Scaling up and moving to production is the toughest hurdle for any tech to clear. Patience is required. These seemingly inconsequential PRs are important pieces of info to inform us of progress. It doesn’t come fast. And if it comes fast, it can go fast. Patience.
Interesting thought... when you rEad them all in order they do have a “build up” feel.
To all the guys who share knowledge and educated opinions, thanks! I might be lost without your insight.
Looking forward to the day when they have an actual PR department that can write more clearly.
A slow and steady climb will result in $1+ before you know it. And then it’s on.
Yeah, but those asses also had it as a sell when
It was .047.... and alternate buy/sell repeatedly.
Agreed... we also have to remember that when your operating a fledgling company, not all details will always be available as a matter of not having resources. There will be some details that we don’t get because frankly they can be twisted and spun negatively, adversely impacting the company and stock price. Both things that a resource- thin company cannot afford.
Thanks, I’ll definitely check out the filings and company some more.
New here... why is this stock trading so low? Seems undervalued.
Ahh... yes that makes sense. Either way, I’m hopeful the BOD candidates have strong ties to the markets that will take this company to the next level.
Maybe an exception would be a BOD member with strong DoD ties or strong ties to medical manufacturing.
Yesterday’s PR offering guidance for delivery was a confidence builder for newer investors. That’s likely impacting today’s numbers and allowing for price stability where we are. Unless you’ve been around and have done due diligence, this can be a scary place for newbies.
Yeah, I was thinking there may be some more buying opportunities, but we’ll see.
Patience is the toughest thing to have with a fledgling company. But in this arena, it’s required IF you believe in the technology and think management can pull it off. That’s where I am, and have been in for quite a while. It’s just tough to watch the numbers zigzag. But... I believe patience will be rewarded. It already has rewarded many of us. (in at .035, avg price .052)
Hang on... go KBLB
Thank you! That sounds extremely promising.
I’m curious about the nature of the 5 year lease. Would that be because they expect to outgrow this one? (My speculation is yes)
5 years is a relatively short lease.
I’m not clear... is this a transition to a new factory or an additional facility?
Also...
“ONE of our strategic market channel partners “
I told people about it when it was under a nickel. My conscience is clear... and they should be thanking me if they got in. Now... I always tell them to do their own DD, so that’s also on them. But this is a winner, short term and long term.... provided you’ve been in a while.
If you’re not long on KBLB, .40-.50 is too high a price to accumulate huge chunks. So... you see people trashing it in hopes of encouraging panic selling to get better prices. It’s the life of the penny stock. It doesn’t change all the tangible info available.
Ignore the noise. Go KBLB
Bought more.... bargains!
Tomorrow is going to be a good day.
There’s substance to this company. There’s too much good going on to expect a retreat beyond simple profit taking and weak investors who haven’t done any due diligence to stick. If you’ve been around for a few years, you know that.
