According to Rob J.Payne has still to decide on MTS filed by Micron. So is there a possibility the case will be delayed? I'am a little bit confused. Thx.
That total irrespective behavior toward shareholders is astonishing. Looks like they just decided to drop and forget the company as it was never existed.
Thanks for your insight.
Ok. Sounds logic. But why would you spend time, effort, money to invalidate a patent you didn't even use?
If Intel didn't infringe, the case would simply be closed long time ago. Why so many fights, IPRs, time lost etc... They could just demonstrate they don't use it. Still waiting for an explanation.
At the end, it’s all about the price. Should Intel buy the entire company or it’s patents what is the difference? HD has nothing but it’s IP. So, I cross my fingers they get something at least not as VPLM who dropped all cases in CA, signed a “arrangement” with Amazon which seems to be a nothing burger. Not holding my breath.
I agree its highly risky, but Insiders have plenty of shares to dump. They need some pumping before doing it. The only way to increase pps is the litigation play. While the litigations are ongoing there should be some bumps.
Shouldn't be some hearings scheduled in October? I'd like to reopen my position for a quick flip. This pos deserves only speculative investment.
Right. Trips coming faster than one can expect. I'am happy to sell with a little profit. Sorry for those who hold this scam. It sure will jump before major dates but who knows from what bottom?
Still too early IMO. I'll wait until Barbara finishes her work.
So, they settled) What is missing is how they settled.
Because you talked to the IR and he said that the settlement with Amazon is a b/o by the end of the year? Isn't it? Did he tell you for how much? Enlighten us, if don't mind.
Lovely beaches in Aloha)) Probably best one.
And wife needs to sell all her shares
Why?
Ok. In what way it is HUGE? They have dismissed all cases in CA, in reality they just dropped everything in CA bc they don't have enough power to fight further. So, pls, explain in what way it is huge? Talking about investors money...
Well, I'am not blaming him for the Avatar action. After all an entrepreneur is always somehow an "aventurist". It could work, it didn't. He dropped and forgot the case. He saw a good deal with Vplm and it worked. Why not. The patents are real. We are all here for the same purpose. The difference he was the first to take the risk, so he leads the show. It's our duty to evaluate the risks and take the right decisions. As for me, I'am just much less optimist than I after the settlement announcement, but I still own. Not buying anymore, but not selling too.
Even if I have serious concerns since the insider's last actions, but what you're suggesting sounds ridiculous.
Where did I mention "illegal insider trading"? I repeat especially for you I don't care if it's illegal or not. This for SEC to determine. The point is it's INSIDER trading. Don't you understand this? And yes if IR talk to an investor the way he talked it influences decision making. Again, it is my opinion.
If true, the words "don't expect too much from Amazon" from the mouth of an IR to an investor is more than clear to make the right decision. Or you would expect the IR to say "the deal with Amazon is shix so sell all your shares asap" ? I wonder who is the real fud here.
What you are telling here is pure and simple insider trading. IR told some investors the settlement is not lucrative, so these investors have dumped their shares. In what way it's better than Barbara's selling? Or even it just confirms the reason why CEO"s wife sold her shares. Sounds bs.
Good to be CEO's wife. You trade like a boss.
No problems. You do what you want. I don't care how much shares Barbara owns. I care how hers actions impact my pps. In a couple of days she reduced by more than 30% the m/c of the company. And it is not done apparently. So, be happy.
20 + million shares could easily result in 5 million bucks in the nearest future if news are good, if news are really good it could climb to twice this amount. Why lose such money? Ask yourself. If news are bad all those billions of shares are just worthless until new pumping. Again, it is my opinion, I'am not trying to bs and definitely not blaming Barbara or Emil for this. Legal or illegal insider selling I don't know and I don't really care. I care only about what is the reason for this sales and the only logic reason I can see is the outcome of the stay is not "perfect". That's it. All other arguments seems to me contrived.
Nobody is crying here and nobody is blaming anyone. My average is below 0.4, so I'am still in the green. Maybe some ppl would like to put their money in this stock, but how to invest when insiders sale before major event? Isn't it obvious?
The CEO wife sales 1/3 of her total. I call it insider selling. Bad news can come anytime time now. Doesn't mean tomorrow. It could be the last day before the deadline of the Amazon settlement. I could be wrong, even I would like to be wrong bc I hold a position, but for me it's how it looks.
That's the most logical reasoning for the recent selling. But some people prefer to believe in everything but not to see the obvious. Insiders sale BEFORE the bad news, not after.
Everyone has the right for an opinion. When an insider sells its shares 4 times average daily volume especially before a supposed to be positive event the question what for comes itself. Obviously, you can still believe in Santa, loyalty etc.. but life shows that in biz there is no place for devotion or other nobility. Markets in general and especially OTC is not a place for such faith. You lose if you are not practical or better pragmatic. So, she should have very good reasons to sell so many shares. But certainly not for "donate for homeless".
Yes, clear as water. I would call it insider trading w/o any doubts... unless preplanned.
The filings clearly state the selling occurred in 20-21. So, we should all including myself be more accurate and read attentively every report before posting. Nevertheless the volume today was almost 4 times average, meaning some dumping happened. Could be scared ppl or dilution.
As an insider you have the responsibility for the actions you take and the impact on stock as well as confidence from the investors which are not so many. Sure, there are always emergencies, but not before such important decisions.
9 million shares sales is not minor. The seller is Barbara, the Emil' wife. For me it is noticeable.
We are down 20% with a twice average volume right before settlement announcement. Doesn't look bullish especially considering insiders sales.
Aware of massuve dilution. There are still 1.3 billion shares restricted which means they can be brought to the market anytime. I don't know what are those shares if they are warrants converted or anything else. Btw any insight welcome. Anyway when a company increases its a/s that means they gonna issue more outstanding shares which is dilution. The trading volume is relatively low, so I don't think they gonna dump it right away. But who knows how it will turn out when hype after final agreement with Amazon. This is a highly risky stock, so my strategy is be prepared to any situation (serious volatility). All Imo.
If I understand correctly the vote was before the agreement with Amazon. The 621 + mio warrants for Dip were issued long time ago and are exercisable until 2031. Not clear if some of them are already exercised. They have approx. 2.5 million o/s wich 1.3. are restricted. Still more than a billion in a/s available. Let's hope they play it light leaving the momentum intact. Anyway investors should be aware.
The Jury awarded 303 millions USD to Netlist in the recent lawsuit against Samsung. The final written decision from Judge Gilstrap is expected after May 30 2023 when both parties should appear before the Judge in the bench trial. Obviously, that win for Nlst is fantastic but it is certainly not 1.2 billion. If you mean added punitive damages, so it's just a possibility, but no way it's given. As for the lawsuit against Apple it was dismissed w/o prejudice... All that said it doesn't mean VPLM is in a bad position. If they finalize the settlement with Amazon one can expect a nice push in pps. Still, considering o/s around 2.5 -3 billion I personally do not expect a rise higher than 0.5 -0.7 dollars at best. Their actual m/c is around 200 millions which is quite high taking into account they do not generate income. My point is to stay realistic and fair for those who just consider to invest in VPLM. I'am long with 400k. All IMO. GLTA.
I feel the pain as you are, I ' am in the same boat. With these penny stocks one should learn how to trade it. But I believe there will be a rebound when approaching to trial. Meantime accumulate when you feel it touches the floor.
You nailed it)
The stock went from .035 to .11 in less than in a month. So, it's quite normal for a pullback, for some profit taking. Nothing has changed fundamentally, patents are still upheld, IPR denied, trial in July. It will be back soon. No worries.
Probably not, but I wouldn't mind. That what I said.
