this photo looks to me..that after seismic is complete they will use this area for a HUGE LAY DOWN YARD FOR THE DRILLING PROGRAM!!
WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD SPEND that much time and money for a three mo.seismic camp.just look all the heavy equipment on site...and all housing and storage building..this my take on the subject it may be all wrong but something to think about ....
this photo looks to me..that after seismic is complete they will use this area for a
HOUSTON, May 29, 2014 – ERHC Energy Chad today announced the award of a contract for acquisition, processing and interpretation of gravity/magnetic data of BDS 2008 in Chad to Bridgeporth Ltd., a specialist geosciences company. Under terms of the agreement, Bridgeporth will fly 4,720 line kilometers over BDS 2008 in southern Chad commencing in the third quarter of the year. ERHC Energy Chad is a subsidiary of ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE), a publicly traded American company with oil and gas assets in Sub-Saharan Africa.
ERHC has 100 percent of the interest in BDS 2008. The Block is located on the northern edge of the Doba and Doseo basin, the site of active exploration and development projects with discoveries exceeding 1,290 MMBOE. Bridgeporth's survey will focus on two main areas: north of Esso's Tega and Maku discoveries in the Doseo basin; and east of and on trend with OPIC's Benoy-1 margin discovery in the Doba basin.
I agree 100%, with the seismic that was shot by one of largest seismic company in world and they worked up their finding with 14.5 billion barrels of oil est.and they came up with only gas. That`s really hard to swallow, the seismic company just don`t miss the est. that far off, with five holes drilled....I heard a lot of people that called in to the CC this AM and there was a lot of people that had their doubt`s as well... just I do......the partner will not walk, they would have been gone by now ....this is my guess at this time.....

Do you think that all seismic that was shot over the JDZ and was reported to have 14 billion barrels of oil in the JDZ and all 5 wells were dusters,I don`t think so...they may not have been 14 billion barrels of oil but sure as h---- could not be all dusters..it just does not happen in this high tech world.....I have worked in the seismic industry way back where here in Texas..we didn`t get it right all the time but most of the time we did...
SPIN SPIN SPIN SPIN BULLSHIT BULLSHIT BULLSHIT IS ALL I`M HEARING PETER ...........COME CLEAN WITH YOUR SHEAR HOLDERS.....
Question to the board??
why is it on some stock there is a wide spread between the bid and the ask???
I never see this on ERHE stock.....
I`m still holding this little .......and hope something will break our way soon...holding since 2006..
The Great Haul of China:IS ERHE NEXT????
CHINA LAND GRAB.......
China is pouring another $7bn (£4.4bn) into Brazil's oil industry, reigniting fears of a global "land grab" of natural resources.
State-owned Sinopec clinched the deal with Spain's Repsol yesterday to buy 40 per cent of its Brazilian business, giving China's largest oil company access to Repsol Brasil's estimated reserves of 1.2 billion barrels of oil and gas. The whopping price tag for Repsol Brasil – which values the company at nearly twice previous estimates – is a sign of China's willingness to pay whatever it takes to lock in its future energy supplies and avoid social unrest. It will give the company enough cash to develop all its current oil projects, including two fields in the Santos Basin.
The Repsol deal is not China's first in Brazil. In February last year, Sinopec stumped up a $10bn loan to Petrobras, the state-owned oil company, in return for guaranteed supplies of 10,000 barrels of oil every day for the next 10 years.
It also follows a slew of similar deals across the world. While much of the developed world is baulking at its debts in the aftermath of the financial crisis, China has continued a global spending spree of unprecedented proportions, snapping up everything from oil and gas reserves to mining concessions to agricultural land, with vast reserves of US dollars.
This year alone, Chinese companies have laid out billions of dollars buying up stakes in Canada's oil sands, a Guinean iron ore mine, oil fields in Angola and Uganda, an Argentinian oil company and a major Australian coal-bed methane gas company.
"China is rich in people but short of resources, and it wants to have stable supplies of its own rather than having to buy on the open market," Jonathan Fenby, China expert and director of research group Trusted Resources, said.
But it is a strategy causing anxiety elsewhere in the world. Rumours in recent weeks that China's Sinochem may make a bid for Canada's Potash Corporation raised fears that the Middle Kingdom would corner the global market for fertiliser.
Similarly, when BP's share price plummeted after Barack Obama's criticisms in the wake of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, there was concern that the company would be driven into the hands of the Chinese.
More explicitly still, when the aluminium giant Chinalco was trying to buy Anglo-Australian Rio Tinto last year, television ads protesting against the scheme from no less than the Senate opposition leader bellowed "Keep Australia Australian".
"Chinese acquisitions are increasingly on the political radar," said Robin Geffen, the chief executive of Neptune Investment Management, which runs a leading China investment fund. "The pinch points come when people feel that supplies affecting national security could be threatened by China buying them all up."
Contrary to the conspiracy theories, China is not looking for world domination. It has seen economic growth averaging a massive 10 per cent for the best part of three decades, and although it is expected to drop into the high single-digits in the coming years – in response to a dip in export demand – the natural resources required to support even slightly moderated growth are an overwhelming priority.
China is already the second-largest oil consumer in the world and far outstrips its domestic supplies. Neptune estimates that it will need to buy two companies the size of BP each year for the next 12 years to meet its growing domestic energy demand. Demand for electricity alone is growing each year equivalent to Britain's entire output.
"These are massive, massive numbers," Mr Geffen said. "The deal with Repsol today, and all the others we have seen in recent years, are wholly strategic, to nail down what they estimate future demand will be."
But, despite the concerns that China is cornering the market and will push up prices, the developed world also has a vested interest in China pursuing a successful strategy.
Notwithstanding qualms about a change in the global balance of power, China's continued economic growth has been vital to hauling the world out of recession – and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. The threat from political instability if Chinese growth stalls has similarly global implications. "The whole world needs China to have these resources to help pull us out of recession and avoid local unrest," said Ian Sperling-Tyler, a partner and oil and gas expert at the consultancy Deloitte.
But concerns remain about China's involvement in politically difficult countries, particularly in Africa. China is not squeamish about the politics of its business partners. It follows a simple formula, offering premium prices and massive infrastructure investments in return for long-term concessions for key resources. There are several well-documented deals on the continent – including a recent $2.5bn tie-up with Britain's Tullow Oil in Uganda and off-shore production in Angola and Nigeria. And the positive impact is evident in spanking new infrastructure including hospitals, ports, and road and rail links being built with the influx of Chinese money.
But China is also involved in some of Africa's more controversial countries. It came in for widespread criticism in 2008 for arms sales to war-torn Sudan, a major trade partner, and its alleged refusal to help resolve the humanitarian crisis in Darfur. It has also been accused of paying multimillion-dollar backhanders in return for African leaders repudiating Taiwan at the UN, although nothing has ever been proved. And because the majority of the deals are done on a government-to-government basis, there is no way to be clear on the extent of the relationships.
SO what date did this 6 month extension start????
I AGREE 100%,Midtieroil!!!
They would not case a DUSTER!!!they do not product oil or gas in the 95/8" casing they run production tubing.they can set packers and run 3 or 4 production tubing and produce from difference zones.at the same time.....
I`m late but just came into town.but 1`m in with my 350,725 shares.
we do need someone that will look out for the little shear holder in this company, but maybe some one with big b--- can get us there..
long on ERHE.........................
In January 2006 Chevron began exploratory drilling in the JDZ in the blocks it obtained in the 2003 bidding round. In May 2006 the company announced it had discovered oil but subsequently stated that the amounts were not commercially exploitable. This announcement further slowed industry enthusiasm but prospecting has continued. In 2010 Jorge Santos, executive director of the JDA, announced that drilling in blocks 2 and 3 had found oil and gas, although official drilling results have not yet been disclosed. [21] Santos also has declared that preparations are underway for a new licensing round in 2011 to auction for JDZ Blocks 7, 8, 9, and 10, after seismic surveys are complete. [22]
Now that`s the way to report drilling result why can`t our PR person do that?maybe ERHE can take some notes,OK Daniel Keeney
midtieroil....
the shear holder that asked them count all the(proxy) votes(the shear holders that were at the meeting that didn`t vote their shears) and that held up the meeting for better part of are hour.do you know who this shear holder was? just goggle his name R.E.(BOB)Smith.a big oil man himself here in Houston.
I think the shear holders that waited till after the meeting learned more about what`s going on in the company than in the 3 hour meeting did.............
Kownski
That`s about to change, the drill contractor will be able
to run all finds of test tools while drilling without removing
the mud from well bore.it`s coming and the company will have a Big advantage with this new process...it will be a year or so before this happens tho..........ED
I`ll be at the shm on the 20th live in Pasadena,Tx. was at the last meeting also.I`ve had this stock since March 0f 2006,been buying on the dips and there was a bunch.See you at the meeting........ED
ERHCLONGTIMER Here what`s really going on in this world, this is real looonnnnnggg but you may learn what`s going on in this world....
long and heavy invested in ERHE so let this little darling run...
invested in this stock since 2006,let it run...
hey, anyone out there.. why didn`t the MM guy`s fill my whole order of 20174 shears. They just filled 3000 shears of my order, how come??I see where they filled alot more orders, one for 72000 shears, wow .but mine was limited order at .50 per shear.I guess I need to call Schwab on Monday to see what the heck went wrong..
I just picked 3000 shr. of 20174 that I had a limited order just payed .50 per shr.sure hope the MM will fill the rest of order before this fly`s ........then let erhe like a rip potato chip........Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone
yea, they plan to start with 36 in. caseing for the surface casing and ending up wih 135/8 in.at TD. so yes I agree with you that they`re planning on producing from many differance producing zones,so they can put abunch of 25/8 tubing strings in that large of casing, just set alot of packers and away we go to production, but that will be awhile for that.....
the map showes that the bottom hole caseing will be 135/8 in the first hole in block #4
Let me butt in here, sorry about that..........When I was attended the SHM and talking to JL he did say that he thinks we could drill the first well in 30 to 40 days.....I think ERHC said 60 days...........long and strong on this minnow ...but what happened to all the traders??????
THANK YOU DOUG C.
YOU`RE RIGHT ON THE MONEY............30CRRPPIE
Strassenheim
Talking about the pps not going up.well I think it`s because the large brokerage house want buy it because it`s down one buck...Here why I think that, I talked my brother in buying some on April 24.so he went to broker witch is Edward Jones and they WOULD NOT BUY IT FOR HIM.So he with drew enough money out to buy 25K put the money in a on line account with Schwab witch I use.so he did get his shears.I asked him(BROTHER) who in h-ll do they think they??I told him he should close that account, the heck with them....
Then I had another friend that I talk in buying ERHC he also went to his broker and they told him the same thing THEY WOULD NOT BUY IT.But he told that he wanted it they told him it a penny stock and it to risky.so after awhile his broker said he need to get a OK from his boss.the broker finally did get the OK to buy it,can you believe they wouldn`t buy 4000k witch amounted to 1000 bucks,oh yea this was UBS brokerage house.so how many times does this happen to new investors???
remember this drillship was constructed to drill in water 2000 ft deep.so now they need alot more equipment and much bigger,to drill in water 6000ft.deep and miles offshore....
nightdaytrader............
when I was talking to Jim Ledbetter at the SHM he told me that everthing on the drill ship was strip of all OLD equipment even the derrick, all mud pumps new power unit.this ship is so small they didn`t have room for the mud tanks,so he told me that they would hang over the side of the ship.so looks to me this will like a band new drill ship just the old hull........lets start deilling real soon.....long and strong on this baby
No,Im here in Houston area.went to the SHM and talked to Jim Ledbetter.I asked him how much oil the Kina held,he just smiled and said I cann`t coment on it.He did say we had a good 4 way closer.so I did say give us a good Thanksgiving present again he just smiled and said.........but I did like this guy he`s real easy to talk to and very informative.
long and strong on ERHE.........
Lsm39_2000
Ism...do you think they will driveI` the 36" caseing in the mud then drill inside of it then set the 20" and cement it into place then set the BP on the 20"??because setting the 36"in mud in 6000ft of water without cementing in place will ever fly IMO.Even with the two casing set in i mile deep water is still is little scary. When everything is said and done (hole completed)the well head is setting on the ocaen floor.how do they do that is behond me..I have been around alot of onshore rigs but none off shore....
yes, sence the white board is on adobe reader a person can`t do anything with it or to it. but the report sure did sound good to this guy.so let the good time come.I have been waiting since May of 2006 yes I know there are alot of investors that have been waiting aloooonnnngg time also.
majicathome did you notice the WHITE BORAD in the photo
NO I didn`t get mine
No proxy either from Schwab....still waiting..........something is up I think..see you at the SHM in big H
