Has anyone received their dividend shares? I only know one person who has actually recevied theirs.
Any news on the dividend? Has anyone received theirs?
One thing we are overlooking is the fact that managment finally released a PR when they said they would! That should continue the increase of investor confidence that has been happening over the last few months. Part of what was holding this stock down was the apparent disregard for shareholders and the PR process. With this announcement management is signaling either that they really do care, or that they finally learned something. Either way, good for us.
A Limerick
There once was a stock named Aurus
The management seemed to ignore us
We waited for news
Knowing its not all a ruse
And in the end the longs were victorious
I think we hold at .15 until 10:30 or so (the time of the last three PRs). If there's nothing by 11:00, .10 is optimistic.
Blue Moon is made by Coors in Golden, CO...
Didn't mean to piss anyone off. I've been on the board for about two weeks now, been watching for longer. I bought in at .13. I was unaware that I had to be a "player" here to participate in discussions. I haven't been pumping or slamming the stock or anyone on the board. I was under the impression that the purpose of this board was to constructively pose and answer questions in order to better understand the truth behind a stock for which there is little verifiable information available. If am wrong, let me know. Thanks.
Once and for all, I don't care who takes profits. Not acusing anyone, not trying to cause trouble. I am simply trying to come up with a reasonable explanation for incredibly high volume. I don't buy the MM games, SHO, naked short sales, explanations for the entire volume we have seen recently. Someone (or multiple) people are cashing in a large position.
Gold in the ground wouldn't be valued at 500 an ounce. It would be valued as an asset at market less extraction costs and a reasonable profit margin.
Part of the problem here is that we still have no information about how the assets were acquired or what we paid for them per ounce.
For instance, if we paid say 200 per ounce in the ground when gold was 500 and then gold went up to 650 we would see an increase in assets but no increase in liabilities. The offsetting increase would be in shareholder equity. Unless that is what we paid for the in ground ore was a percentage income or something like that.
My point being, we still don't have good information about what we paid, how we paid it, and what exaclty we paid for.
If our assets were acquired by a cash transaction as people claim, wouldn't their be substantial shareholder equity?
These are the questions we should be asking.
Anyone have any real idea as to where 9 million volume came from today? MMs and SHO list etc.. still don't explain enough.
"I held 3.4 million AURC at 5.5 cents and still hold about 10% of the float."
Quote from westeffer on the SVMI board today.
10% of the float is only about 2 million.
Guess I know where some of our volume came from....
If I remember correctly, last week I pointed out that this was likely and everyone jumped down my throat about it...
The Smallcap Sentinal story showed up on etrade's news ticker but the pr about financials and website hasn't... This is the first news to appear for AURC on etrade.
Simple accounting.
If you own a property worth 4 billion (asset) you also need to book a liability. The liability in this case is what you paid for it. 4 billion in long term debt.
The profit for a gold mine would simply be the what you sell extracted gold for, less the cost of extracting and refining it, less what you paid for it while it was still in the ground.
The "asset" here is mostly gold still in the ground. The value of gold in the ground has to be something significantly less than the 640 per oz or whatever number gold is trading at.
As we extract and refine the gold we incur expenses but the value of the asset increases. Instead of the gold being worth say $200 dollars per ounce in the ground, it is now worth $600 out of the ground. The difference of $400 will be devided between the expense of extracting it (a liability) and shareholder equity.
Therefore, what we should be concerned about is simply three things. 1) the price of extracted, refined gold 2) the cost of extraction and refining and 3) what we paid per ounce in the ground.
The difference becomes shareholder equity... i.e. our money!
These are the topics this board should be concerned about. Start talking about these numbers people!
If I read the financials correctly they conform to "Russian accounting standards." I'm curious how those relate to GAAP...
Thanks. No alias here. Just a newbie trying to learn.
Actually it was me who made the comment about West selling. For the last time, that was just an observation about his absence from the board. Part joke... I seriously doubt he is. In fact I think that it was through him that I originally found out about AURC.
I've been watching the board for a month or so now. I've done my DD. I agree with most of the positive things said here. I think the financials are going to make everyone very happy. I am not selling anytime soon. In fact, I have some more money ready for tomorrow and Friday.
I don't think I deserve the label "suspect," and I hope that over time I can make a valid contribution to this board.
Seriously, you guys are great. Keep up the good work. Go longs!
Regardless, you still haven't even attempted to justify your claim of 20m shares.... Until you do, your posts are worthless.
I don't really think so either. Just a thought...
Anyone else notice that West is conspicuously absent the last few days? Maybe we're all buying his shares?
(No offense West... Just a thought...)
Benz, if only Cramer would say AURC and hit the buy, buy, buy button....
West, sorry can't private reply, still on the free trial. Yeah, I grew up in Indy. In fact, I originally learned about AURC from someone there. Could be indirectly a tip from you...
There should definitely be a link to this board on the RB board. Anyone interested there just has to read the last few days here to be convinced to do a bit of DD and buy.
That board is going to explode.
We are in for great week.
Last weekend - Keystone Light
This weekend - Becks
Next weekend - Chimay
Anyone who hasn't figured out that that is Dave Chapelle doing Prince is way out of touch...
Get the first season on dvd and watch it tonight.
Nor really freaking out. I can't imagine selling my shares now. I'm holding on tight.
In reply to the others: I know that the after hours L2 doesn't mean much, I was however commenting that this afterhours L2 was abnormal for this stock. I have been watching for a few weeks now and I haven't seen anything like this afterhours before.
Just pointing out that it is strange for AURC.
Ditto! This is freakin me out....
Look at the L2. Bid .20 - ask .47
No other orders really.
In the past there have always been open orders from day to day.
What's going on?
Bid .22
Ask .25
Looks like we could be moving....
Almost 100k at .27 in the last 10 minutes. Last trade: 20k at .265
Everybody, thanks for the great board. The excitement I saw here convinced me to double up at .15. Thanks. Trying to add more now. Still no fill after 10 min.
