LOL, I love it!
I will always own my last 2k shares of Aurus. Unless Fidelity asks me if they can wipe them off the acct.
yes, cork, I'm serious. But, I can speak about in a civil manner.
Sagan, what do you believe?
I still can't understand,
'Here in America the Feds pay farmers not to grow...go figure.'
That's not hard to figure. Farmers can be bankrupted by banner years and corn piled high as mountains outside of full grain elevators. Those policies can seem ridiculous at times, but they were developed to prevent disaster to the farming industry in this country, which is still one of America's great strengths. Compare it to the seawall in Galveston. For 25 years at a stretch it appears to be a terrible waste.
'Some angry fellow dumped his shares.'
How do you know the seller was angry?
Pro Truck playing a game. Which, at first looks like an innocent April Fool's Day joke, but I believe there is a little bit of malice included. But he can just claim the innocent Apr Fools Day joke as defense.
'new Ass Mods'
That's how you welcome them? lol
'You can't operate 12hours/day'
And worst of all....

I'd prefer not to have a PR on April 1st, thankyou.
Cork, my posting a link to my blog was not promotion. It was illustration of charts. I don't need promotion. My blog is already followed in 66 countries. Posting it was just the opposite of being stingy.
But I do thank you for not lacing your PM with the usual vitriolic vulgarities.
Since I have 3 posts only and this is the 3rd, I won't have anything more to say.
That's right b4atf. Just delete what suits you. You can't take. Though you like to talk tough.
This is what makes this board a joke.
The blog link is just charts. It's how I can show charts with annotations without the viewer needing a StockCharts acct.
There is no personal gain for me or advocacy on any of those charts.
The downside to you is that this blog has 15,000 visits. 300 daily by people who might like to see a an SGCP chart. Posters here post links to information all the time. My blog is nothing more.
This board is too incestuous. You should broaden your horizon.
It's funny how if I post something of real material value, like charts showing gold and silver targets, resistances, supports..... it gets deleted. The rest of this board can post almost any nonsense, and it stays.
What is the price in Sierra Leone?
grawsha,
'(about 8 moths for the full life cycle)'
What kind of moths?
This will get interesting if we can breach .0032 on no news.
“It’s still the unrest in North Africa and the Middle East and the uncertainty it is causing,” said Daniel Briesemann, an analyst at Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt. “That’s dampening the sentiment of market players, reflected in weak equity markets for the most part.”
Here's the funny thing about analysts having to always say something in justification. It's what creates their income and gives gullible audiences a sense of order in life. Copper wasn't going any higher for the time being anyway. Quaddafi is today's popular excuse for metal price movement.
I knew the peak price of copper last June when it set in place the mathematical monthly target at $copper 464. (465.75 you say? nah, 464 was the number, the tiny wicks after that were what we call fluff.)
It will take gold 3 to 4 months to gain it's present daily 1552.95 target. 1628.09 later this year.
I don't see 1772.05 til 1212.
'Since they have been doubling farm operations they should generate
plenty of income especially with food cost on the rise! '
To whom, do they sell the ag products?
How are those sold products transported?
Locally? To a SL wholesaler?
I think the carbon credit bonanza has been distanced by the world economy.
There is nothing negative in these questions. Since I own shares, whatever works to generate bottom line revenue would be wonderful, IMO.
'The longs will have a great margarita why we laugh at all the skeptics they kept newbies away'
The skeptics here are longs.
But I will say something of immediately encouragement. A technical bounce is indicated right now. The only thing missing is some volume. Tomorrow would be an excellent opportunity for this company to PR something meaningfully positive, if there is something.
As far as gold is concerned. Without production of consequence it means little to the SGCP price. But I can tell all of you, the $Gold chart is right now in the strongest position it has been since August. Scarily strong. Through 1383.98, it sees 1401.73 then the all time high of 1430.60. Then 1459.60. Then the daily target of 1552.94. Relatively big resistance, but then to the weekly high target of 1772.05.
This is not comforting stuff for our economy.
Now if you think this post is nonsense. I am one of only 2 people in the world. My trading partner being the other, who called the Oct high target of 1387.10 to within a buck, 18 months prior to it hitting. 3 months prior we narrowed it to the penny 1387.10. 1387.10 is the pivot around which gold has revolved since Oct. 14th.
If this is the only gold position people here have, you need to adjust.
Write it down. I half hope I'm wrong this time.
'That's why I said earlier that he needs to hire a good tech writer to do the PR.'
No. I don't want to pay for it.
'some people want to sell the chicken before the hen has laid the egg.'
Wait, isn't that called carbon credits?
'Any potential investor who reviewed the posts yesterday would probably have logged out and looked
elsewhere.'
So what is this board....the paid marketing PR wing of SGCP??
There was a huge issue of authorized shares going on here while we were in limbo.
Considering the history of unannounced dilution by SGCP, I don't blame any shareholder for verbally expressing concern.
Sagan has owned this stock for a long time and so have I. They have yet to produce anything that remotely pays for their existence.
Anybody who is a company owner and by definition, all shareholders are, has a right to voice displeasure.
This dialogue always escalates as happy talking pumpers want to muzzle what they are afraid somebody might hear.
Everybody got their 'cheapie' opp, didn't they?
Thanks Charlie.
This is very good.
Cork,
1365 now.....and that may start to mean something here when we are incorporated, have an established AS and SGCP reports some reasonable production. I'm still holding everything inspite of my doubts.
'It will take sometimes for PPS to start moving, even with bullish report like the one we saw on Friday'
I think this will only move when an incorporation is legally established with a declared AS.
Right now all that is in limbo. We don't really know what we are.
'well why is the price not going up??? humm??'
I'd assume folks want to see how many AS are listed in the new Wyoming incorporation before buying anymore of this.
'The PPS will never be high enough for some. In their EYEs it could have gone higher. '
I'd like to hear what people think is a satisfactorily high enough shareprice.
Personally, I'd be happy with this company paying it's own way with a pps of .012+ sustaining itself.
awhitefish,
'Its interesting that when people make a choice which has risks,'
You have a funny perspective. It appears that you believe being lied to by manage is an acceptable risk. I don't. I believe weather, political upheaval, and lack of sufficient gold, etc., are acceptable risks.
Not long before the AS was raised from 1 bil to 2 bil, a poster on this board said they had had a conversation with Doug who had assured them there would be no further dilution. Sure enough, shortly afterward we find the increased AS to 2 bil. This company has never been straight with shareholders about dilution and the TA is and will always be gagged.
John is an excellent salesman.
And here's my position. Small by most standards. 900k shares at about a .007 cost basis. I'm not going to lose sleep over this, but I do get annoyed by happy talkers defending what is an increasingly sleazy looking management and declaring conned shareholders, who complain, bashers.
This was always a lotto play for me, but I expected the drawing of the numbers to be honest.
gemstone,
The president of SGCP isn't going to tell anyone the info they really want to hear.
To tell people to sell and move on if they think they've been ripped off is inappropriate also.
If a mugger robs you, do you just except it and move on?
I applaud any effort SGCP makes to helps to help the people of Sierra Leone, but I didn't buy shares in SGCP as a charitable donation. And finally, no, if the company performs and shares appreciate, why would I or anyone else legitimately long pick it apart and spin it for their own egotistical needs.
The leaking of info over the phone about a possible carbon credit bonanza is the only thing in the past few years that has provided upward pressure.
The shareholders here have every right to complain. People are losing a lot of money, and they have been mislead.
I've thought for a long time about why shareholders here think that doing intensive 'DD', phoning easy talking "honest John" and chatting all day long was going to make extracting gold a sure thing. Even after you get the equipment in place and working, there has to be gold in sufficient quantities to get gold. Gold is a very commonly distributed element all over the world, even in seawater, but nearly always in very very tiny amounts. You can find tiny amounts of placer gold even here in New England, where I live. But people aren't lining rivers here looking, the end doesn't justify the means.
This was always a lotto ticket, even if these guys are legit.
'Why it can't extract very minimal amount of gold?'
There isn't any? ...or very much?
Their cut of the proceeds is so tiny?
Cork, I was really excited to see that. SGCP aside, it makes me think again about what gold is and isn't.
It's not just symbolic of wealth. It's thoroughly non toxic. Non reactive. You can eat it as part of a confection. It's maleable to the thickness of an atom. But it would really be cool if it someday it plays a big roll in fighting disease. It takes gold into the realm of morally good.
Now, if we can find some.
I don't want our SGCP team to resort to putting on productions of Oklahoma and singing "There's a bright GOLDen haze on the meadow,
There's a bright GOLDen haze on the meadow,
The corn is as high as an elephant's eye"
By growing corn, we'll be inundated with crows. Plus, how are we going to stop the stampede of elephants when the corn reaches as high as their eye.
I think we may have a future in medicine. What we're pulling out of the river is probably already pretty close to the right size.
This is actually pretty cool, if it's not nonsense.

Cork, this is very basic. This is starting to smell very bad. When the bashers start calling this a scam, there is nothing to counter with. Our corporation is dissolved.
cork,
How do you know he is dealing with it?
this is pathetic
'Sorry, folks, I just don't understand the questions/denile about climate change and the resistance to regulate polution.
Money talks. The powers that pay for politics don't like being restrained, the same bunch paying for this silly tea party nonsense. We're still living the Bush legacy. 50% of the entire Bush administration were hired directly from the oil industry.
Last weekend I said movement of the POG had nothing to do with mideast upheaval. Does anyone still disagree with that?
mdb1,
Livermore was better, he traded only his own money, starting out with nothing.
These hedge guys play with big contribution of other peoples money, then siphon off what they want.
' I'm going to follow the advice of one of the best stock traders of all time and sit tight on my position in SGCP.'
Follow the 1929 Jesse and not the 1940 Jesse. Well, maybe not that either. Jesse made his money short selling and lost it holding long. Maybe you should just do your own thing. Jesse was not only the best trader of all time, he was also the worst trader of all time.
