Though I am encouraged by what I've seen so far.
I don't mean to be a cynic... But I think "if" is the key word here... But I don't have a problem waiting... And at least the wait should be more peaceful now.
sigh... I sent him an email, and he wrote me back saying I should set up a time to call him. I guess I'll try to arrange to do this sometime tomorrow.
In response to your PM... I haven't, and I do. What's going on?
For whatever it's worth... NLI posted a new progress report.
This one's been stripped from previous ones. This is all they said about Fanotech's lawsuits:
A better question: Will there be a long-overdue public explanation by JS as to why he failed us yet again?
Hedge_Party, DtheG, or Brad Herrin... Why do you think there's such a disparity between the amount of shares JS says he owns, and the ownership he has actually reported?
And if he doesn't own all those shares... Then who does?
My conspiracy theory is that he has some huge block of shares set aside in limbo-land that he plans to buy retroactively at some absurdly low price... But only if he sees one of his plans actually starting to take off... Which is one reason for the delay in filing.
Ok, then I am confused. Can someone please clear this up for me?
If he has, as you say, 40 million shares, then why did he only report having 843,600 shares after his most recent purchase on 4/23/2012?

Again I was kidding... And yes, buying IAGM was definitely a good idea... Who would have guessed that the two-grand I put into that would be worth more than the 25-grand I put into WLSA.
Though, I do have some concern about GAIMF having such a low float... It just seems like there's that much more room for dilution... But I'm not one to talk... I haven't researched or invested here.
Yeah... You must be new to a Simmonds-stock... j/k .
Good! Newlook's April and May status-reports have been posted...

Another possibility is that someone was buying, but there was only 2500 shares up for sale at that price. So once those filled, that was it... I actually think this might be the more likely possibility, since I seem to remember the Ask jumping up after that sale.
You're assuming that someone was trying to buy. I think another possibility is that someone was trying to sell at the Ask.
I've been having the same problem in reverse. Until a couple days ago, I had a large buy-order at the bid of 1.6 cents.
Some days, the MMs would give me nice large blocks. And then on others, I would get these annoying little hits.
I'm reluctant to do the "all or none" orders, because I find that those fill much less often... And for the most part, the regular orders work out fine.
This is old information... But still pi**es me off... Thanks again T-baggers.
Why was the ecoENERGY Retrofit program really cancelled if, by the Federal Government’s own admission it:
1) helped the environment;
2) provided energy savings to homeowners (up to 30% in some cases);
3) created employment;
4) created $2.00 in tax revenue for every dollar spent on combined Federal/Provincial energy programs; and
5) resulted in $10.00 of expenditures in the economy by homeowners for every dollar of grant
Listen to this interview on TALKRADIO 1010 and see if you can understand why.
Considering that Simmonds' whole management strategy is to throw things against a wall until something sticks... I'd say that the more stuff on that wall, the better .
I agree that it'd be nice if Simmonds put more into the follow-through, but that just doesn't seem like his strength. Ideally, that's what these people assigned to various management positions should be doing... Why they aren't is beyond me.
I wonder if Simmonds decided that he could REALLY stick it to Gabe, by becoming a competitor in the waste equipment manufacturing business:

Hope it works out.
I'm sorry, I just don't see it. Being to finagle deals back and forth between these two companies seems to be Simmonds' primary talent.
May's almost over and Newlook still hasn't submitted their April status report... Has Simmonds decided that that little piece of regulation doesn't apply to his company either??? What the hell???
I REALLY don't like to admit I'm still buying into this POS... But... 1.6 cent has been a bit too tempting to turn down!
From Newlook's May 1st press release:
Yes, I have to agree. Everything looks amazing over here.
Every time Simmonds misses one of his filings, he provides an aggressive prediction of when they will be done... And every time I can remember, he has missed that prediction too. This is EXTREMELY unprofessional!!! I don't understand what his problem is. I wonder if he has any intent at all on ever getting his act together.
I stand corrected... Thanks for the link.
I think those are more IHub violations, not security violations... Plus, fliier was never banned or jailed. She just couldn't figure out how to write posts that wouldn't get deleted, and finally gave up.
Do you think there will ever be anything that could take away your feeling that "we WILL eventually get there"? Because I think I'm finally reaching the point where I'm tired of being let down.
That's what I don't get. If you've been holding the bulk of your shares this entire time, then how has your strategy netted you a profit over that time?
And if you strategy hasn't netted you a profit over that time, how can you defend the continued use of that strategy?
So what are you saying... That you aren't advocating buying this for the long-haul? That during many of those times that you were telling others to buy, you were actually selling?
You know, I'm kind of sick of you wishing for a lower share-price...
You've been wishing for a lower share-price for nearly a decade now, and for the most part your wishes have come true.
Yet, I still have yet to see how that has helped you, or anyone.
Thanks, my comment should have read:
In Alethia's defense... This company is a bit different in that Simmonds almost never publishes bad news through mainstream channels. We usually have to discover bad news on our own (if we find it at all), either through local Canadian newspapers, through the publications of other companies, or when insiders of other companies (e.g. Criminal Minds) posts the things to our site. So yes, when Simmonds says that news is coming, it is almost a certainty that the news will be either good or neutral.
Though having said that... I do agree with cancune's statement about there being "no tradable information" in Simmonds's statements. More often than not, when Simmonds tells someone there will be news, his predictions turn out to be inaccurate and this damages the share-price far more than if he said nothing. And even when Simmonds guidance turns out to be accurate, one can assume given recent activity, that there will be massive selling associated with that news.
And if people don't like me making these statements, maybe people should air those complaints to Simmonds with the suggestion that he start being more professional with information! Because every time Simmonds's promises fail to come to fruition, and every time people have to hear about bad news through indirect channels, it f***ing pisses people off!!! And then everyone here has to hear about it and hash it over and fight it out again and again. And then sun gets to climb atop his high horse and claim yet another victory.
Simmonds, you've tried being a sleaze for nearly a decade now AND IT HASN'T WORKED!!! Why can't you try something else for a change???
Since you refuse to submit your posts as a "reply" to other posters, I never know who you're talking to... So I'll assume you are talking to me...
The poster that wrote post 7902 (as well as a half-dozen other promoter aliases) disclosed in their disclaimer that they were paid by StockMench Promotions LLC (aka Hooka).
To get to the bottom of who paid for the promotion, one should probably contact the Hooka (first post was #7521), though I'm not sure if they can disclose that information.
Hedge, you should know by now that JS doesn't "answer" questions... He only tells people what he thinks they want to hear.
mzasif, Same on us??? There's nothing wrong with a little skepticism... Especially in this stock.
I'm glad you had a good conversation... But be aware, Simmonds can be one smooth cookie over the phone and in person... That's part of the reason many of us refuse to call anymore.
If only he could get all that big talk into his filings and into his actions, we'd all be sitting pretty.
Either way... I'm very pleased to finally see some action around here... I no longer feel I have to find ways to entertain myself using fliier .
Hedge... Again... Please don't take everything I say so seriously ... I was just kidding around ...
But my statement wasn't too inaccurate... Until the Hooka onslaught, almost every other regular (long) poster here had been here before you arrived... But there's nothing wrong with that . Don't get so defensive . Sorry .
P.S... When I say "Hooka onslaught"... I'm not trying to be negative... I'm not trying to express annoyance... I'm just trying to find a colorful term to describe what it was.
Agreed, WLSA hasn't turned out to be the "safe" long-term play that many of us would have liked to see. The CEO isn't what one would call risk-averse, and tends pursues a variety of projects that are high-risk, high-reward. If any one project takes off, the longs should prosper... Unfortunately there's been some problems along the way and the short-term players have so far been the only ones doing well.
I'm guessing Hedge-Party was the person you "ran into"... And until a week or so ago, he was the person most of us still thought of as the newbie.
No worries! I hereby humbly bow to the Hooka.
Wow! I guess we are not to question the Hooka!
I've never had a post deleted so quickly!
fliier, Sorry, I just reread your post and realized I didn't comment on your statement about the Tomassoni's money. When I said that I didn't think the Tomassonis had the money to put together a proper case against Simmonds, I thought it was implied that I was referring to their partially bankrupt company. It didn't even occur to me that they might personally fund this vendetta against Simmonds. Are suggesting that they are?
And I'm even more baffled by the fact that you said I might be "a rat" for knowing that the Tomassonis are having personal financial problems. Is this what "a rat" would have discovered if they had gained access to the Tomassoni's finances? Are you sure you aren't revealing too much information again here?
f-liar,
You obviously want to start something up with me again, and that's fine.
I changed my statement from "Tomassonis have made a compelling argument" to "Tomassonis have told a compelling story" because I realized that the Tomassonis have provided absolutely no evidence to support their claims. I would be happy to change my statement back to the original quote if you can provide us with that evidence. Thanks.
“Scum of the earth”??? I know those are my words, I wrote them, remember? What's your point? I've made no secret of the fact that I detest Simmonds.
Lies? Your lies have been well established by me and others on this board. Unlike you, I've make a point to be as honest as I can. If I've ever told a lie, I'm actually unaware of what it is. Can you please provide some examples of posts where I've lied, so that I might correct my errors?
Thanks.
