Exactly. They all just gave up their bonus shares for this year to help the company secure cash. I don't begrudge them selling a few at these ATH prices to make up the difference.
$AMC (HOWARD DEAN SCREAM!)
I LOL'd at that sitting here all by myself. Perfect framing of the bot army tactic.
Not to mention, End of the month AMC moving from Russell 2000 small cap index to Russell 1000 large cap index. That news leaked out on Sunday. The gamma will continue to squeeze as higher strike options gain interest in anticipation of tute interest once AMC qualifies for large cap funds.
It means buying will be met with less downward selling pressure. Kind of hard to keep the price down when 80-90% of float owned by apes and you can't create shares out of thin freaking air to sell into the bid.
We don't need more information
Naked shorting lost control
More stark iconoclasm in the boardroom
Hey, Hedgies! Leave those bids alone!
A faux pas is a socially awkward or tactless act, especially one that violates accepted social norms, standard customs, or the rules of etiquette. The expression faux pas comes from French, where it means "false step", "misstep". It has been used in English for over 300 years. Synonyms in English include gaffe and blunder.
Unless they made her apologize for talking over the guest and putting words in his mouth.
Yeah I get that is a no-no word. Just not sure what a retraction would sound like. It was the guest who was really doing the talking.
Agreed! AA keeps saying he listens to us owners of the company. Well we were all saying save those last 43 million shares for the squeeze. What did he do? Sells them for $10 a pop.
Sorry Adam, we'll take it from here.
The CAA collectively had about a 12.6% stake of the original 39 million shares. At the time of this article Tyler personally had 160,000 shares. Latest Fintel info shows 320,000 a year after this article.

I think so too. Although the guest wrapped up pretty quick on his own. He was probably consciously avoiding the use of that term and then she threw it out there and rattled him a little I think.
I really don't see that she has anything to retract. It was the guest that was talking, describing the activity of naked shorting. All she did was act like a good host and put the proper name on it so the audience would know what the guest was talking about.
I would have said AMC will test $38-$40 support again before next leg up. But I think Melissa Lee turned the heat up, apes are on fire for Monday to get here.
Glad I picked up a couple hundred more AH @ 45.18 and $42.50. I think you're right, they could be worth double by Tues. If it does test $40 first I've got enough to buy a couple hundred more.
That's funny, we both came up with practically the same thing. I like yours better though!
All Primates Eviscerate Shorts
Seems like another signal from AA. Just coincidence that remaining shares pay off debt at $100k/sh? Doubtful!
Let's circle back to that
Number 1 Not a fundamental play. That has been made clear multiple times.
Number 2 You're waiting for $1-$5 to do what? Gonna buy in at what you consider "fair value" and then sit on it forever? I don't think you understand how investing works.
Correct, you should be ashamed of yourself.
I keep seeing people posting this false scenario. Here's what you don't get. We won't be selling to each other. We'll be selling to computers that are buying to cover. Only MMs and margin called hedgies will be buying our shares. And no, they won't be shorting from the top because they are already in liquidation mode. If someone else does short that high, they probably selling to some covering HF. So win-win
So much knowledge I know how to provide a link instead of sending people hunting for things that don't exist.
Or you can just go to the Frankfurt exchange and find out what it traded at today.

Unique? I don't think so Tim.
I thought I saw a count of 501 million released last night.
This run was FOMO combined with gamma squeeze. Options activity pushed up buying which drew a lot of new buyers. Still no evidence of shorts covering, so short squeeze is still on.
You lost me at CNBC
First of all, HE didn't get anything. It went to the company. And it's worth noting these shares were meant for management incentive, but they decided to use them to increase the company treasury and not their personal bank accounts.
Secondly, you need to really work on your math skills or actually research what you choose to spout off about. The shares raised well over $800 million, not $200 million.
If he still has his $20 calls he's making out large!
Probably not. The wall yesterday was presumed to be related to the fact that $73 was the highest strike price on options. Or could have just been a coincidence. But options table expanded today so not a factor regardless now.
I'm not saying it won't or can't happen. Just saying that's not what that Fidelity chart is saying.
I think it will get there at some point. But not giving odds or a due date.
That was a false prediction also. People letting the colors on the chart tell them a story like schoolchildren instead of looking at the numbers.
No it doesn't.
I predicts a 79% chance price will be above $50 or so in Sept. The probability decreases the higher you go from there. $900 is probably like a 0.01% chance. You have to be able to click on the original chart to see all the data.
Then you should understand exactly what is going on with this stock. Your previous post was utter nonsense.
TL;DR "I'm a shill"
That was same wording when they offered up 43 million last month, sold all in less than 2 weeks. No point here other than that is boiler plate language.
Although he could've hung on to the 43 million to sell now. But whatevs, if Kenny needs more shovels here they come!
I ain't scurd. They just dropped 8 million and look what happened. I say drop 25 mil and really watch it launch!
It was just in queue. Will probably get rejected once market opens.
You done? Good. Now go answer the phone. Very important call coming in.
$75 SP puts all existing calls ITM, puts heavy pressure on the gamma squeeze until higher strikes get added to option chain.
