I am glad the Clickgarden software is meeting such a good reception from you guys. I think as you play with it and learn how to really manipulate it, it will only impress you more.
In late July and early August, CG sent it out to all the major computer magazines and industry publications, for reviews. We can only hope the software rates a response half as good as what I am reading. That comment about Netscape maybe close to the truth than you think (VBG)
By the same token I think you all can see why both CG and us, where so secretive about not revealing alot about this, due to the nature of this software.
Now that things are coming online with them, I will go ahead and reveal some other bits and pieces of things you guys have been guessing at... and complaining about for about the last 6 months, we have been bouncing around some ideas with the CG guys, about incorporating IREPLYMAIL.COM, SEEKnSearch or hey how about an electronic e-commerce card (NERD CARD)adding some cool benefits? It is just talk nothing definate, another reason we havent done anything with these sites to date, but a search engine, a shopping portal along with an electronic ecommerce card along a free email site all packaged up.
Wouldnt that be a coup' if there was something like Yahoo bundled into a browser, or a browser bundled into Yahoo? Is some of our past and manic internet strategy starting to make a little more since now?
Even if it never comes to fruition, that is the real reason, we bought those sites and its not like we spent the kings ransom if it doesnt come to pass. At least you cant say there wasnt a strategy to the CVIA madness and us just spending your money without a possible larger plan in mind.
Oh yeah I really liked the comment about NetScape is now obsolete, thanks to CG :^)
