Not my place since you didn't ask me. For now on consider having a HARD stop on anything you trade, whether in your head or on your broker platform. As for now, did you consider selling your position and buying some calls to reduce you $ risk ? that's if you feel there is a catalyst to hold a position
$ACRS I have been accumulating since $1.54. Something is brewing here. ANY Biotech where the insiders have been accumulating should be stalked.
$PETS $4.11 just bought, it's been quietly accumulated in recent weeks and has been outperforming the general market since Sept. Earnings due out in a week. Anything green on red days catches my attention.
Nice! $PTON came out with earnings this morning, market seems to like it pre-market. I didn't hold into earnings as that is usually a coin flip.
26m share short out there, could moon. RGTI I'm out same day on stop, gave it a short leash.
Yeah, been stalking these since you mentioned them last week. B RGTI premarket today. Puked QUBT, naturally that's going up. It sucks to suck. QBTS seems to be the weakest, it's OBV has been weak compared to the others you mentioned.
Hopefully dome institutions step in after seeing the headline. We' ll need them to throttle the shorts
$LAC is a perfect example of technical strength, mostly hidden on purpose as big players load up. Then suddenly a catalyst appears, when the smart guys have their positions on.
$LAC After the bell...Lithium Americas Closes $2.26 Billion U.S. DOE ATVM Loan. You're welcome.

Look at $LAC lithium play. High short interest

Dumpster Dive portfolio is up 77% for the month, based on technicals only. However, that's a raw return based on NOT having a stoploss attached. My performance with subjective stops is about half that return. I have concluded that the weakest link in doing this is between my ears. All of the securities held showed positive momentum when I bought (Up is up). Most retraced as expected, however my logic is that if you reasonably chase momentum (in a bull or sideways market) you are guaranteed to catch the best performers over time. Flip side is if you try to catch bottoms on down trending stocks, you are guaranteed to catch the one's that got to $0. In theory of course.
My solution will be to "Get Smaller" position sizes, which will inherently mean that a stoploss in baked into each position.
A strategy as this is maybe correct 30% of the time depending on how tight your stop would be.
Not as a strategy, although it is profitable.
Yeah, your right but some ONLY buy 52week highs as a strategy. Bought some .20 delta calls for a week. Not to spite Wade, but the price action is impressive at $267. It likely will hit a wall today at $270 due to OI on 0dte 33k contracts. Also bought $TSSI $7 as well, that one is just getting started imo.
Easy $300 near term
B $EVGO $8.29 today as a sympathy play with $TSLA earnings. $BLNK is another but the price action favors $EVGO imo.$EVGO also has a short interest of 25% which can get out of hand.
Tesla is an AI robotics company - Elon Musk
Your right he's a fraud, lol. http://www.tomrollinger.com/Ed-Seykota.html
$PSIX - no position, if you have level 2 you'll notice ASCM ( Ascendant Capital) on inside market like a tic. Not sure if they did some kind of financing with this outfit, you might want to investigate. Likely not, as he would be hiding his MM quote from the inside market via an ECN. If that's the case, MM is likely daytrading from the short side (Always do). But they do so only on pinks that have had bullish runs, without any fundamental knowledge of the company.
$TVGN - $2.29 up on revenue forecast and "Tevogen Bio’s Effort in Artificial Intelligence, Tevogen AI, Joins Microsoft for Startups, Begins Accelerating" headline today. Yahoo says 93% insider ownership. ANY biotech with either insider purchases and/or high insider ownership, should warrant ones attention.
Yeah I puked on Friday due to what I mentioned, bought $NXL with proceeds @ $1.39
$KOSS, Speculative play into earnings this week, yes breaking my own rules here. This is a darling of the WSB crowd, who were turned onto it by Roaring Kitty. 9m shares outstanding, 10% of the float is short, 44% ownership by insiders. In 2021 when GME ran up, $KOSS went from $3 - $127 in a week or 3300% which was a greater % move than GME. Some attribute this to $KOSS NOT having tradable options, which can be gun powder on a squueze.
Wade, here is a link to a free site. Very simple and you can filter the criteria you wish. I chose the variables...LOW P/E for fundamental and PRICE above the 20,50 and 200day moving averages, for technical. Without filters you get 9700 stocks and with filters you get 676.

You can also see the sectors that are leading/ lagging on multiple time frames to fit your needs.

Together, you will notice that each sector has a leader that will often lift others within the group.
Most importantly - Get smaller! to the point that you see some consistency and ALWAYS have an uncle point of where you admit your wrong and sell. Cut losses and the profits will come.
So don’t bet your shirt. If you did some homework and noticed accumulation beforehand in the entire sector, then why waste your time predicting what eps will be? This is not chess.
Nonsense. It’s when you hear those speaking in ABSOLUTE terms and bet big on earnings day, that are gambling.
Nice find in a sector that’s been heating up up. Novicetrader has been on this sector early.
RKLB resting before the next surge.
AMLX starting to move from the dumpster to $5, should be marginable at this level if it holds.
I'd pass just looking at the chart. Been going down for 4+ years, i'm not smart enough to think I can catch the low
As far as financing, I would bet that they are selling anything above their cost of financing $0.88 and doing so on an ECN to hide their footprints.
If you ever see MM ASCM, (usually pink sheets), they are notorious Short sellers.
QUBT - stopped out @ $0.95 don't love it after reading up on it. They did financing with Ascendant Capital
PTON - $5.64 was my entry earlier today. -$1stop .Earnings are due Oct.31 I was assuming institutions pre-loading. I'll trail-stop price up to earnings, then likely sell and switch to calls to reduce risk.
Love it $0.97 I'm in, thx. Look at PTON $5.75 3 year downtrend broken back in August, been sideways since, breaking out today on > than avg volume
RYCEY $7.50 the Rolls Royce of SMR's but a lot of shares outstanding
LAC $3.60 https://www.otcmarkets.com/filing/html?id=17899590&guid=RbL-kamhH0mnJth
DNN $2.21 - heavy call volume yesterday
