Earnings report tomorrow.
Oklahoma voters on Tuesday will decide whether to legalize recreational marijuana in a special election.
End of the year the stock price IMO will be at 30 or so. There is just too much going on within various governmental entities for something not to happen. OK. So what company is big enough to take over TCNNF ?
TALLAHASSEE, Fla., March 3, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Trulieve Cannabis Corp. (CSE: TRUL) (OTCQX: TCNNF) ("Trulieve" or "the Company"), a leading and top-performing cannabis company in the United States, today announced the opening of its Beckley, West Virginia dispensary on March 3. Located at 1000 N Eisenhower Dr., the medical dispensary will have operating hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
I look for over a billion in sales for the end of year earnings report next week. More like 1.3 or 1.4 billion.
I probably own more shares than they did anyway. In looking a few days ago it appears that my portfolio is much larger than most of the financial sector like Cowen. Goodbye to them.

That's great. Yes you can increase your share holdings. I don't really like jumping in and out. I will maintain my position and wait. Like I've said before I'm not a trader, I'm a long term investor.
All of the MJ stocks are down. News if any ever comes will move the market. This is a long term play. If you can’t stand the heat don’t get near the fire.
Definitely within the realm of possibilities. I think we might see safe before the end of the year.
Yea, not a big deal. I've been waiting for longer than that. I think this year we will see some legislation. Your thoughts ?

Wells Fargo lays off mortgage bankers days after rewarding some with California retreat. And there are many more.
Probably. I don't think we've seen the slow down yet. It appears more and more states are realizing the tax money they can get if they make MJ legal. Competition among neighboring states seems to be driving some of it.
Guess they weren't needed. Seems companies all across the US have been laying off people.

I believe we'll see some legislation this year probably within the next few months.
Next week 1 Mar is earnings report.
Pretty soon the 52 week high will be 7 and the low will be 6. Range bound.

TCNNF is not a penny stock. I haven't been able to purchase for pennies. It is a multi-dollar stock that is heading higher.
I'd like to see $500, but to be realistic, that ain't going to happen unless legislation gets passed making it more favorable for US operators. I think we will see great end of year numbers, but so far that hasn't help drive the stock price. I think the only way to play this is long and picking up on dips.
I picked up more toward the lows and was waiting for the 5's, but I didn't think that would happen and so far it hasn't. Still watching.
Yep. Pretty much, steady as she goes. Some news, but no legislation which is what we need. Schumer and the others need to quit talking and do something.
As I've mentioned here on the HoldHigh board, the story is what is important to me and from what I'm seeing TCNNF is quickly taking advantage of opportunities. I reference the quick conversion of the CT dispensary to medical and recreational.
Huge increase in patients in FL: https://www.marijuanamoment.net/floridas-medical-marijuana-patient-count-grew-71-percent-in-the-past-two-years/
CT comes on line for recreational. https://www.bristolpress.com/news/after-much-debate-legalized-sale-of-cannabis-comes-to-bristol/article_22f1d1fc-aef2-11ed-b672-2f70917d725d.html
Maryland legalization: Existing medical cannabis dispensaries would be converted into dual licensees at the same time that legalization takes effect on July 1 if they’ve paid a fee. Glad TCNNF has operations in Maryland.
And Massachusetts: People ages 21 and older are allowed to purchase and use recreational marijuana in Massachusetts. When visiting a dispensary, buyers do not need to be a Massachusetts resident, but they must show an official government-issued ID.
So the story keeps getting better and the stock price will catch up at some point.
Onward.
I guess this a dead board until the stock hits 20.
I do think we are going to see some favorable legislation this year. https://www.marijuanamoment.net/biden-signs-equity-focused-executive-order-that-touts-marijuana-clemency-actions-calling-criminalization-a-failed-approach/

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Schedule 13G form is used to report a party's ownership of stock which exceeds 5% of a company's total stock issue. It basically just notifies stockholders who owns over 5%, no big deal.
Not that it will have significant impact, but just thought I'd provide the info.
