$VRUS - So, I’m not completely up to speed on the company, but I did breeze through the most recent 10Q/SG 13G/10Ks last night. My initial thoughts: It seems like this is one dude selling equity to investors in “ideas” more than an actual operating company. The business model has jumped around from software, to real estate, to food distribution, with no real product being developed and consistently sold at the end of the day. I don’t know if any of you watch the show Shark Tank on TV, but what do they say to people who have no clear, distinct business plan/product and are to diversified in ideas? Second, the company is issuing convertible notes to fund “operations” and debt retirement at an alarming rate, and the convertible features don’t even have enough authorized common stock to be correctly exercised. The securities are unregistered with the SEC, and if enough common stock is unavailable by a predetermined date, the interest rate on the note becomes astronomical. Additional common stock is almost certainly going to need to be issued in the very near future or the company cannot stay afloat. Finally, I tried a google search of many of the “brands” of food/drink being advertised in the investor deck/pictures and found nothing. I know the majority of people posting on this forum are “brokers” trying to lure people into losing bets, but to anyone new to investing, please do your solid due diligence before putting money you can’t afford to lose on the line. I’m not saying this is a bad investment, only that when I did a quick analysis, there were a heck of a lot of concerning things I noticed. Anyone who works in Finance or has actual experience trading/investing and has performed a true analysis on the company, please correct me if I’m misunderstood in any of the points I brought up. That said, I threw $60 bucks at it because it was a leftover amount in my brokerage account after a recent trade and I sometimes like to gamble on technical plays. Good luck all, and if you have any serious questions about anything Finance related, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
