Through fiscal 2019, Liberty opened a total of nine dispensaries throughout the State of Florida. Another five dispensaries were opened subsequent to year end, bringing Liberty’s total dispensary count to fifteen in June 2019. The Company has lease agreements in place for another six locations and is further negotiating another six. Liberty plans on opening up to thirty dispensaries by the end of fiscal 2020. During fiscal 2019, to better serve Florida’s expanding patient base, Liberty invested in expanding its delivery abilities, providing customers with door-to-door services and building six major delivery hubs. Subsequent to the fiscal year end, Liberty integrated the operations of their delivery hubs into existing dispensaries in order to reduce overhead costs, and now delivers statewide out of Dania Beach, St. Petersburg, Tallahassee, Bonita Springs, Merritt Island and Gainesville.
The medical cannabis marketplace in Florida is in its early stages, which is evidenced by the fact that approximately 307,000 patients have been added to the Medical Marijuana Use Registry as of June 2019 statewide. With over 20 million residents, Florida’s potential patient base is vast. The patient registration volume has grown significantly in recent months as more supply has become available and as access to the growing number of physicians who are qualified to recommend medical cannabis has expanded, which has resulted in more than a quadrupling of registered patients since the beginning of 2018. There are now over 2,321 qualified physicians in the State of Florida who can access medical cannabis for their patients. Patient volume is expected to continue increasing at a rapid pace considering the expanded medical uses as well as the broad availability of high THC products, as well as the introduction of smokeable flower products to the Florida market. With expanded production capabilities, a primary goal of the business moving forward is the acquisition of qualified patients

SEEKING ALPHA: nice read

Yep, solid info by all! Love both, just swinging, averaging down and skimming while holding a core. Until this sector filters out the rotten apples you have to stay on top of your picks. Unfortunately, we all know profits on paper disappear quickly. Hope both extractors become HUGE
Nice take Funman. Agree on everything, with this to add. I was actually all in on Valens but eventually went all in with MEDIF. * I do swing Valens occasionally
My personal reasons to wit:
1. Labs first mover advantage for international growth. Far ahead EU GMP ( look at the time it has taken LABS) valens process , not in first gear unless I’m missing something...
2. Labs is financially paid up already for Australia... valens has not spread its wings out of Canada, where and when is the money coming from??? How long to build and grow internationally?
Valens is using its money for stock buybacks
3. Canada Market is a mess, LP’s are a mess and is there too much product right now , only time will tell. Personally, I’m not seeing the big money in beverages (VAlens) I do see Pharma/ medical (LABS)
4. And, what happens to the broke of graveyard cannabis companies with long term contracts. We seen what happened to Labs. Valens has; HEXO, TGOD, SUNDIAL, Tilray . Yes, as we’ve seen who can be trusted for both Valens or LABS.
Of course both are profitable and best cannabis stocks but got sick of juggling both and LABS too cheap. GL gang

Speaking of demand, MediPharm is one of a select few pot stocks that's currently profitable on a recurring basis. Having begun its operations in Nov. 2018, it took less than two full quarters before the company was already generating an operating profit, without the aid of one-time benefits or fair-value adjustments. Considering that competitor Valens Company reported a significant increase in adjusted EBITDA during its fourth quarter, I have a strong suspicion that, even with the HEXO payment concern, this'll be the case for MediPharm, which is valued at a mere 19 times 2020's consensus profit forecast, according to Wall Street.

Yep, unbelievable
With a singular focus as its defining competitive advantage, MediPharm Labs believes that whether for medical or adult-use products, precisely dosed, consumer-safe purified cannabis concentrates will be a base ingredient in high demand for all advanced derivative products.
CEO Pat Mcutcheon reaffirmed the company’s focus in December as the Cannabis 2.0 market ramps up. MediPharm Labs is well positioned to support its customers in Canada, as well as new customers in emerging international markets.

To all here: I believe all here wish this community to remain a real, credible and friendly place to discuss VALENS . To respect the long term members and individuals interested in this stock I will recommend the topics discussed remain focused on this stock or trading. Please refrain personal attacks or negative comments on each other from this board as there are enough other boards to join for this. Just a heads up from myself and the other moderators. Please continue to make this a knowledgeable and helpful place for VALENS investors. Cheers

* for LABS and VLNS
listened to CC of other extractor This is sounding really good: The cash crunch affecting LP's is great for a company like LABS who have already built out there extraction equipment and facility, and have lots of cash in the bank for more. Many LPs have no money for developing an extraction capability, so if they want to dip their toes into the Cannabis 2.0 business, their only alternative is to partner with a white-label company like LABS to develop products. Their should be huge growth in the white label business for Valens in 2020. AND OUR INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION!!!!
I want them to address their contracts and future payments with ESPECIALLY : TGOD, HEXO, SUNDIAL and what prevents default of payments to them in the future, etc
I keep adding to my stack on every dip. My largest holding by far is here: LABS
When opportunity rains you put out a bucket not a thimble
Maybe? Or if the trend continues, I’ve held thru every VLNS earnings...there is a small dump late in the day as investors take positions into LABS at low cost and then regardless of earnings results their is a dump earnings morning as stop losses get triggered and more of a flow into LABS. I own both so whatever but this has happened EVERY TIME!!!
