Purchases were throughout last year....
What part of Ohio?
Anyone ever discuss why it is that David Gelbaum and Quercus Trust have been buying large blocks of Beacon and WWAT?
Is there a partnership there? Something on the horizon? Both have bought into the spikes. Quercus is buying indiscriminately and neither is selling.
Just observations...
jds, some people will always have the "victim" mentality. You're wasting your time on this guy.
He will always focus on the negative and spread poison like a snake. He thinks he knows who the players are and that's his first mistake. Assuming he knows who's up to what is living in a fantasy....
Yup. I'm staying away. GL to all.
mediascan,
So what are you thinking now with the recent action? Looks oversold... look at the RSI...
Oh, and while I'm at it, add one more to the list:
WWAT
Some of you may recognize that one. I've been watching it since .40. And when it went up to over 2.00, I wasn't watching! Doh!
I'm going to get in that one as well after this current correction.
Now that's good humor I can appreciate!
Well, I guess it's safe to say that if this funding doesn't go through the death bell will toll and there will be no need for anyone to post anymore....
All trust and faith will be gone. And our loot too!!! :) Ha!
Then maybe I'll see you all on the following boards:
BFRE
NBF
I'm moving into these soon.
I'm considering GWSO but am shaky on their credibility.
If anyone does their own DD feel free to post it on those boards and let me know your opinions. I'm monitoring those boards right now. Good luck y'all.
ryandlou,
How's business anyway? What's on the horizon?
What you may not, and others certainly don't comprehend is that I understand this is a "crapshoot" and if I lose every red cent I will say, "Hey, I tried, but I didn't cry."
Others, many others won't be able to say that. Investing in penny stocks takes guts and ballz. Well the guts are on the floor and the ballz are being squeezed and I'm sliding in the muck with a grimaced grin on my face.
If you're going to bitch about losing money on a penny stock you have absolutely no business investing in them and I have no respect for you (not you personally, but "you", as in everyone I'm talking about. And "you" know who you are).
That's why I stay positive and stay forward looking. What the f*&k else is there?
Solar is expected to have a rougher year as they have been played so heavily. Biofuels are going to be in the limelight.
I started watching WWAT back when it was like .40 or something. Should have watched it closer but had to many stocks on my watch list!!!
Missed a 4 bagger. I'll most likely get aboard when this correction levels out....
Reality check:
I have been in the lending business so speak from experience rather than some who speak from emotion.
Missing the funding date is not a big deal. The funding date was a projection, a target. We're talking about a lot of money here.
And as far as asking shareholders to not contact the funding agent, I don't see that as unreasonable at all. When I had a loan in my pipeline for a purchase loan for example and someone would call me to ask about my client's loan who was not my client, guess what? It would irritate the hell out of me. Not only was it inappropriate, it wasted my time.
Kevin asking shareholders not to contact the funding agent is responsible. Unfortunately he had to do it; like telling a child not to put their hand on the stove.
Relax.
Right. Folks will need to judge if it's worth the risk or not. Big opportunity from here....!
Money is coming: Update
UPDATE AS OF 18 JAN 2008
By The CEO
As per my previous release, the following is an update as to our current progress.
We have spoken with Mr. Miller last evening and have been advised quote "Reliant’s funding will be complete by 25 January 2008" unquote.
During the week we have had many shareholders contact us for information and, in some instances, shareholders have contacted RIVER OAKS directly to confirm Reliant’s position and previous statements. Please refrain at this time communications with RIVER OAKS and allow them until the end of next week to complete the mission of our funding. You can be certain that we at Reliant have roughed him up a bit hard during the week verbally so we are going to give him some breathing room to complete his commitment to Reliant. I can assure you he has been made aware of how critical it is for him and his company to complete this transaction as committed and the consequences should he fail to do so. I might add that he has been very responsive to our inquiries and has apologized to our Company for the delay and missed funding dates but remains certain he and his company will complete the funding. My understanding is he is staying in Europe until it is complete. Reliant will issue a press release once funding is completed.
Approaching resistanc levels. Good buying opps coming?
Try breaking the order up into smaller chunks perhaps. That size of an order could drive the ask up so no one wants to fill it...
MM's have to skim don't you know.....
Good point. I guess I was thinking back on the day when we were at .2....
Ahhhh the good old days :)
I believe that to be true. Many people know about this stock and shied away from it when the credit crisis exploded in everyone's face.
If they get the funding I expect volume to be between 750k to 1M...
Anyone shorting this has made all the money they could dream of. They'll ride it to the very bitter end and take their chances. Cost of doing business...
Besides, I'm sure they don't expect a rebound. Statistically, as far as pennies go, rebounding from this scenario is not typical. But getting into this scenario is common for a shell company that is scamming people which I don't believe Reliant is.
And here we are......
And yours.
Thanks for sticking around to let me know. Maybe I should sell now and pay you a consulting fee...
Whoever it was I'm sure that's the last sale he'll make...
whatever...
I think it would be hilarious if you could see how my morning went and how I was lead to Biosolar.
You did your DD, now a few more investors are doing theirs and bouncing ideas around on this board which is exactly why it is here. Who's bashing?
I read an existing report, another guys posts a link to an article, and then YOUR emotions get involved because you have a vested interest in the company. Come on guy, keep it in perspective here.
You say it yourself, "Why would anyone go to a stock if they have no interest in it?" Well I do, and I'm here, and wow, is that how that works?
And it's too bad you didn't sell towards the top. That's just 101.
I would be very concerned about that article. There are some very valid points there.
Even xsunx, if I recall correctly, only had a multiplier of x4. And they were close to manufacturing at the time.
You have to wonder who's selling now....
Keep one thing in mind though with situations like this. It doesn't mean the whole thing is a sham they just wanted to make some cash. How long can you work for pennies.... no pun intended.
Looks like a great company with a great idea but there is much to be keen of...
1) Patents
2) Sales
3) and all the other stuff mentioned in the Beacon report.
They're a ways off from market entry and with no patent protection they're just begging Evergreen to rip them off.
I guess that's part of the risk for the price.....
I just started looking at this but If I had to guess, I'd say it will settle back into it's trading range around .45 to .55 unless they come out with some positive developments.
Looks to me like there was a nice run up after the Beacon Equity report and now this big sell off... What's the deal there? Maybe the market is realizing how long it will be before they can be protected by patents. Surely that was all emotional buying but there was an upward trend before the report. That's what makes it tricky.
I'll most likely get into this one after the current sell off flattens out.
Nice! How ya been?
Can Jack come out to play?
And with that volume I wonder who is profit taking today???
I wouldn't doubt it. No one produces something like that when a company is in such an infant stage.
Again, I'm not saying this isn't a valid company but you can't control the players in the market who could do something like this on their own.
This should pull back and I'll look at getting in then. I plan on researching the mgmt. and all the research they SHOULD have under their belt. Anyone done that already?
That ad clearly states it was paid for by a third party interest, not the company itself. To me that is a huge red flag. Typical of pump and dump BS.
I'm not saying that's going on, I still have my research to do, but that's what I'm looking at right now.
I got one too. I'm thinking the same as you but will look into this further and may buy in if it gets to those lower levels...
That's all you could come up with? I'm disappointed.
Ok stoxter, I'll quit playing dumb just for you. The gigs up! I am discovered!!
Stoxter knows all. Grandmaster of penny stocks has blessed us with his presence on the Ihub board on the planet Earth. In his infinite wisdom he has graced us with a few minutes of his invaluable time and keeps bashing what he believes to be a dead stock all for our benefit because he truly believes he will redeem our souls!
Thank you (bowing), thank you (bowing again with my middle finger up in the air behind my back), thank you....
Check out this website:

Keep in mind when you look at how basic it is that one of the partners is a BILLIONAIRE....
Never judge a book by it's cover. People who are making money could give a rip about web presence. Real business is done in the board room.
More responses from Hamilton amidst the threats of a lawsuit against Reliant...
Doesn't make sense. Why would he keep making it up? Wouldn't he just run silent and deep at this point? What is he hoping for? PPS to go to .014 so he can dump 20,000,000 shares? I don't think so.
Good DD Hobie. Thanks for the update.
Thanks :)
Exactly. And who knows what the future holds but I truly believe the mortgage market is setting itself up for an extreme whiplash effect.
This will take time in the American market but Canada is primed. All they need is for the credit crisis to simmer down.
Story: I know a guy who was writing loans (him and his brother coincidentally) in a shoddy little office in MI. Rates were at 14% and their hair was down to their shoulders. Laughable. The two of them turned that one office into brokerages across America. They consolidated, partnered with Intuit and experienced fabulous success as Quicken Loans.
They're currently originating several billion a year and have offices in Troy, Phoenix and Cleveland with over 1,200 loan officers. Dan Gilbert, one of the brothers is now worth over 1.2 billion dollars.
So what's possible here? Who knows. But regardless of what does happen no one can say all I did was bitch and moan and cry all the way.
