has anyone ever visited their facilities in vietnam? are we able to look up location on google earth?
whatever happened to "Truth" from the board?
Yes their revenue is dependent on sports. You’re not telling anyone anything new.
I would follow my gut especially if I’ve profited
Polertec has not funded Kblb and dod has stopped funding.
I believe he pr’d shipments at the end of quarter 4 2019, I think he even pr’d a “shipment within a week.” I haven’t seen that shipment yet. I’m just stating i don’t believe it’s happened. I should not have said “promised.” He has never used that word
I will correct myself. “Nothing valuable produced in mass.” Yet?
I’m not judging. He’s not produced what he’s promised, “yet.” Judgement would be me calling him a liar
You seem offended. I’m just an investor expecting the most I can from a ceo
Eggs aren’t worth anything if they’re not doing what we intend in large quantities
I’m only concerned with companies I’m invested in. I concern myself not with other companies failures
My options are not limited to “doom and gloom,” or “cheerleading.” Unfortunate you see it that way
I’m just looking for results not a conspiracy theory. I hope you are not offended
He never said he produced “pure spider silk.” I think he termed it “nearly pure spider silk.” Until I see it bought and sold, I believe he’s produced “only words.”
Didn’t say they haven’t produced “a thing.” I said “they haven’t produced anything in mass.”
We know what they haven’t produced.... anything in mass
I will bet any won a roll of cheese that we see near .20 close or below Friday
I’d be impressed with Kim if he can keep the price above .20 on Friday. I’d be blown away if the news drives price up to .40. Not saying it can’t, maybe the news is so great that we get above ATH, but he’s disappointed me so many times with build up and then a dud pr, I’m trying to “curb my enthusiasm.” I hope I’m completely wrong!
Thursday close: .29
Friday close: .12
Sorry that was confusing, I mean to write new post, asking for Truth's take on everything today?
Truth2.0, what's your take?
Why would they not announce who the president of Prodigy Textiles is? Wouldn't that announcement help bolster shareholders confidence?
Since they haven't publicly announced who the president is, I'm assuming they aren't required to?
Did anyone else notice this sentence in today's PR?
"After reviewing the progress made under this first phase and meeting with Prodigy Textiles’ president, Vietnamese officials authorized the expansion of the Company investment in scaling up recombinant spider silk production."
Does anyone know who is Prodigy's President?
A little background, I am a long time lurker, new poster as of today. I'm younger than it appears most on this board, I started investing in KBLB about 3 years back. I used to have what most would consider a diversified portfolio, but saw a lot more potential with KBLB than anything else with the limited resources I had at my disposal. I have children in daycare, a wife & mortgage to support. I'm a buyer for a private company that spends annually 500M on products/services across every industry out there. There may come a day when I convince the guys I work for to buy silk from KBLB. But, I've learned over the years working for these guys, that they didn't become billionaires because they gave money to companies that could not deliver. I took a huge risk like everyone else has up to this point, investing in KBLB. I understand the risks associated, up to this point, I'm feeling more confident than ever with my decision. It appears that KBLB is moving in the right direction, but up to this point, it has all been talk. I have never seen a PR that stated actual production amounts. Even if Kim came out with a PR stating tonnage, it would still be all talk, until he delivers silk to a customer, that customer inspects/approves quality & quantity delivered, and a check is deposited into KBLB's bank accounts, it's still all talk. I see it everyday with the company I work for. We can give you a 10 million dollar contract, we might even put a small amount of $$ up front for your product, but until it delivers & we agree it's what you promised us, the remaining $$ stays with our banks.
I'm not saying they're not producing, I'm just saying we have no proof. Kim's given himself a deadline to produce this year. We are at 30 cents today, by January we could easily see north of 1.00. But if he hasn't delivered product and deposited a check by then, we will more than likely see 7 cents.
I'm optimistic that KBLB receives another contract with the Army, but understand that we didn't get paid the remaining amount on the last contract and that speaks volumes. It doesn't mean there isn't opportunities for future contracts with the Army, it wouldn't make sense for them to close the door if in fact KBLB can bring the product they want to market. I'm all in with KBLB, but the fact remains, they can announce any contract they want, but without product they won't get paid.
Ireland,
All though this PR is important in the longterm, it's not going to move the needle much, shortterm. Everyone is waiting to see if Kim can mass produce silk. Until he mass produces at least one of his silks there's not enough belief that he can. So in the shortterm why would investors be excited that he made a new silk in the lab but still hasn't massed produced anything in the field.
