Thanks. I appreciate your taking a look, and will heed your advice.
I'm a new participant of this board, but have been reading your posts for some time, and I really like what you have here. No bashers, no backstabbing, just open discussion about some real opportunities. I have a stock that I would like to get a candid opinion on, so Z suggested I post it here and get your feedback. The stock is DGKO. Anyone out there familiar with this one ?
Moron, I understand what you are saying. No one wants to believe more than I do. It's unfortunate that the company doesn't issue credible PR's, so we are left to feed off whatever hope we can find in these types of message areas.
I will be the first to admit and to recognize the benefits of going to a trade show. But, why hasn't SeaView contacted RCA before now? Are we only going to market the product via trade shows? These four major distributors that have hurdled over the table to sign contracts with George and JR - have we never talked to them before now?
Those of us left from two years ago got burned so bad when the fake Taiwan deal was announced, and then didn't have the good sense to bail out when the price hit $25 a share on absolutely no news whatsoever. I personally would love nothing better than to see a couple hundred green investors see this kind of news, translate it into $400M in revenues for the next 12 months, load up on the stock, and drive the price back to the moon again.
But, if Broker and BigBizz is really trying to hook 'em, let's start off with something a little more realistic. I, too, am waiting to see what Trebor finds out at the show.
Stevie
Only the second day at the show and just look at all the wonderful stuff that's happening....
First, it turns out that our booth is located in the exact same city as the one for Kodak. Imagine that.
Then, RCA is confident that it can sell as many $400 SecureViews as it does $1.95 phone jacks. That's a given.
The only thing left to report would be that a group from Taiwan had just "crushed" the Sevu booth to place an $80M order for the government.
I would just be happy to know that they were there, period. It really undermines all credibility when posters like Broker continue to blow smoke up our butt.
Stevie
I am willing to accept that as an answer for now, but would like someone at the show to find out the sequence of events that lead to being a "last minute" exhibitor and why they are not listed. If they are sharing a booth, who with?
In fact, when you and Dan attended the ASIS show in San Antonio, SeaView was listed on the website as an exhibitor. That's why I found it surprising not to see them on the CES site.
I am not trying to find fault here, nor am I looking a "gift horse in the mouth". But, before I fall for a major deal with RCA, I'd like a little more info.
Stevie
AND, the reason they are not listed as an exhibitor on the CES website is because.....
Sorry, I am not trying to come across as a skeptic, nor am I doubting your word. In fact, it would please me greatly to know for certain that they are indeed there, and are being hammered by interested parties.
But, as indicated by this board, CES is not a small affair. Therefore, SeaView could not have decided yesterday to exhibit and just fly out to Vegas on the off-chance there would be an available booth.
Are they listed under another name? Another brand?
Stevie
So, why aren't they listed as an exhibitor on the CES website? Either they were a very, very late entry... or is this another $80M Taiwan deal designed to get us all to hold on to the stock?
www.cesweb.org
Can't find them as an Exhibitor, Brand Name, anything. If I'm looking in the wrong place, I hope someone will let me know, and prove that they are actually there. I'd like to believe, cause I've held this stock for two years now, waiting patiently. I'm long on this stock, and I don't want to find out that the only people left on this board have joined together in support of each other's stories regarding SeaView and the grand and glorious plans they have in the works with RCA.
While I have your attention, are they ever going to update the SEVU website? No mention of the show, or the news release, and no mention of this new PowerLine "catch phrase".
Anybody got a valid reason why they aren't listed as an exhibitor on the CES site ? I'm listening and trying to keep an open mind.
Stevie
PS - I comprehend just fine.
Francois,
Thanks for the vote of support for my comments earlier. I truly am not a basher, but somehow suspected I might be classified as one if I expressed "cautious optimism". Hence, I will keep my comments to myself in the future.
I concur that a definite "turn around" has taken effect, and I truly hope it continues.
Stevie
Before I get labeled a basher around here, I'm going to get out of this conversation, having made my point.
Stevie
Sadly, I think you are right.
Stevie
BigBizz,
I really don't want to go down this road with you. I don't know about the other longs here, and I certainly wouldn't want to speak for them, but any "fun" I experienced during the run up from $5 to $28 was turned into "conflict" and "concern" watching it go from $28 to $0.25. And, although I am fortunate not to have lost money on this one so far, I am not sure that I am willing to participate in nor witness that kind of "fun" again on this board. I cannot control what you do, or what you post, but I urge you to seek other avenues to share your hopes and dreams with others who would like to explore "what if" with you, and leave those of us waiting for concrete facts about actual sales out of the "fun".
I do not believe in beating a dead horse, so I will not comment further on this. I hope you at least understand my position.
Stevie
Ha Ha ! Thanks DiverDan for taking the high road, and giving me reason to laugh and to end the line of discussion I was beginning to have with BigBizz. Please understand that I am just as excited by recent events, and I don't mean to suggest that I have lost faith in the company. I simply believe in being cautious at this time, and not opening ourselves up to the kind of bashing that took place before.
As for your numbers, those I can get behind! LOL
Stevie
Bigbizz,
Simply put, the shares are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them at the present time. "Now that it's really happening"? Now that WHAT is really happening? Even with what you think might be happening, it is still guess work. Crunching numbers is not something I have to do in order to make myself feel good about my investment in this stock. The farthest "What If" I can entertain right now is limited to what the value is of my shares today. I am counting on SeaView to provide the investment community with information that can be verified and validated, so that there will be more interest generated and less opportunity for bashers to come in and dispute anything. I'd prefer to see $80M on an SEC filing in two years, than to see it on a message board today. I've been riding this stock down since it's high, and I don't want to go through that again.
There may be some who agree with me on this, and there may be those who don't. I will not argue about it, since I believe I have made my point. If you want to throw numbers around, pick a safe spot, or do it with private messages, but please don't do it here, or encourage others to.
Stevie
Bigbizz,
I appreciate your enthusiasm, as I am also a big supporter of SEVU. And, I would like nothing better to see the kinds of numbers you are throwing about. But, please, remember that speculation and numbers flying left and right is how the price soared at nothing 16 months ago. A lot of people bought in, and then others came in and exposed the fact that there were holes in the PRs. I was one of the lucky ones, and had bought in below $1. However, I know people that weren't that fortunate, and now they are hoping to get back to those higher levels again over time.
If you truly believe in this company, as I do, lets wait and let the company and the management speak of facts and figures. Discussing "What If" is fun to think about, but the last time I saw the number $80M tossed around, it marked the beginning of a bad time.
The company will do this, and we will all be the better for it. But for now, I'd rather not see everyone start running numbers that can't be validated.
Just my two cents. Forgive me if I have offended.

SecureView - 1000+ Uses...
Yesterday when I arrived at home, my wife was upset that a rabbit had come into our yard during the night and made a meal out of her azaleas. I told her that it looked more like deer to me, and a lot of them. She didn't believe that deer would eat azaleas, and thus the challange began! I simply moved my SecureView camera bulb to one of the floodlight housings on the front corner of the house, and adjusted it to point towards the azaleas.
About 11:30pm, as we were watching a movie, I decided to flip to aux and see what was going on outside. Wow! There must have been 15 deer in our front yard, having quite the feast. There is so much construction in our area, they are having to come in closer to find food.
Anyway, thanks SecureView. It sure beats sitting downstairs at the window with a flashlight. Just another one of the many uses for this product. Although I wouldn't abandon the current marketing campaign for this one just yet :)
Stevie
Looks like the run-up yesterday attracted the attention of the day traders. They jumped in this morning, ran it up, and are jumping out this afternoon.
Great! Thanks for the info FG.
Thanks, FG. I will check with SeaView about getting a system like this. I would like to be able to see multiple areas around my home. Do you know if the systems are available with color?
As a shareholder, I should already know all of this, or should at least be finding out about it on my own. I've been sitting on the sidelines now far too long. But, I am really excited about the potential this has!
Just got my SecureView!
In the midst of all this talk of class action suits, I just wanted to let "bagus" know, if he's still around, that I ordered a SecureView on Friday afternoon 06/08, and it arrived on Wednesday morning 06/13. It took about two minutes to install it, and it works GREAT! I've already shown it to some of my neighbors, and now they want one, too. Of course, now that I have one, I want more. I want color, and I want one of their multi-camera systems! This is a great product, and there is going to be a lot of demand once the news starts to spread. The picture quality is incredible, and it is so easy to use and to relocate at will. That's the real beauty of it. No wiring; no complicated configuration; just plug-n-play!
"Bagus", if you're reading this, just tell me where to send you the copy of my invoice. I've already scanned it, and I'll be happy to send it to whomever wants to see it. I assume your offer to pay for my camera still stands? Or is the game already over?
Let me summarize by saying that not only am I a satisfied customer; I am a satisfied shareholder. I've held SEVU stock for about 18 months now. Since receiving this product and seeing the potential of the technology behind it, I plan to pick up more shares as often as I can at these prices.
And, while I've got your attention, I'd like to say thanks to all of the longs on this board: FG, Seahag, bigbizz, etc. for continuing to support the stock and the other longs without lowering your dignity to the level of others.
Stevie
Bill,
Thanks for the synopsis. You must feel better now that you have gotten that off your chest. Can I assume now that you will go away and devote your time to your class action, rather than trying to convince us longs that we should join you?
I for one am staying. Not necessarily because I disagree with any of the points you've made, but primarily because I've come this far and as someone is famous for saying "I only invested what I could afford to lose". So, why not stick it out. If nothing else, I am getting a great education in what to look for the next time I decide to consider an OTC stock or a start-up company. And, day to day, this soap opera is very interesting.
Stevie
Bill,
I can appreciate what you are trying to do. But, if there is one thing that drives me crazy, its inconsistency. I used to have two chairs in front of my computer, one for the days in which you supported SEVU, and the other for the days in which you were against SEVU. After getting a lot of splinters from switching chairs all the time, I, for one, am glad you have finally chosen which side you are on.
I cannot honestly say whether or not SEVU the company has done anything wrong. But, neither can you. If you can, and you have something to back it up, please post it. I do know that I believe in the products and that the demand will be there. I have seen a huge return on my investment, and I have seen it all disappear. But the reason I invested to begin with, is still the same. As many of the non-supporters of SEVU have said, I may just have my head in the sand. But, I believe that when I take my head out of the sand, it will be a bright and beautiful day. If I'm wrong, then I will humbly admit it, and be on my way. I hope that you will soon see that you have convinced all those that could be convinced, admit that there is nothing more you can do here, and be on your way. There must be more that you can do with your time, and your money, than to spend it here.
Stevie
RePost - Greetings!
I was asked to "clean up" my post and resubmit. Seahag, my apologies to you and the board, as sometimes my mouth gets ahead of my upbringing. Here goes...
"I have supported SEVU for a long time now, well over a year, and have been reading both the RB and the iHUB boards for much of that time. I regret that I have chosen to remain quiet for so long, but since I am fairly new to investing, I really didn't have very much to say... that is until now. This recent post by PrintMail compelled me to register with iHUB so that I might respond.
To that end, PrintMail, if you feel as indicated in your post,
Why don't you just move on!
Feeling as you indicate, if you ever owned stock in SEVU, you should have long ago sold it. If you don't own any stock in SEVU at this time, I have to assume you feel it your life's calling to be here for my protection and my welfare. Thank you, but no thank you. I will take the responsibility for my own actions, and you can feel good about the fact that you tried to warn me, and just go away.
If you are really looking to save people from themselves as your chosen calling, go join an anti-smoking campaign or something."
Better ?
