That would make entirely too much sense. I finally gave up expecting any type of sensible, open communication between management and shareholders. Blindsiding us with a RS 8k and no explanation as to our direction moving forward was the nail in the coffin for me. Not to mention phase 2 being pushed back with no explanation...AGAIN. CFO walking away. On and on it goes. I truly wish the best for people that continue to hold here but I am done for now. May jump back in down the road if they show some progress, communication, and any ability to adhere to the timelines they lay out.
Just like with everything else with this company...all shareholders can do is speculate and wonder what is up. Goodbye. I dont even want to know what that idiot Hirsch has to say in his letter. It's too late anyway. Wish I listened to myself and got out when the Friedland nonsense came to light initially. Where there's smoke, there's fire. Good luck to anyone who continues to hold.
I couldnt disagree more. I am interested in analysis. Most everyone is interested in analysis i'd assume.
What I am not interested in is 25,000 posts in a row emphasizing the word "toxic." We get it sir.
Agreed. I wont go as far as saying that the efficacy trials are a formality but I believe they are well aware of the creams potential and effectiveness. Zeevi and others wouldnt have come aboard if that was not the case imo
Great find Moxa. Further proof that OWCP is way ahead of the curve. This makes me even more excited for safety trial completion and further down the road...efficacy trials.
"OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. (OWCP), through its wholly-owned Israeli subsidiary, One World Cannabis Ltd., (collectively 'OWC' or the 'Company') conducts medical research and clinical trials to develop cannabis-based PHARMACEUTICALS"
"All OWC research is conducted at leading Israeli hospitals and scientific institutions and led by internationally renowned investigators."
2 things that are easy to gloss over at this point but still make me :) each time i let them sink in.
If we could follow this news with Safety Trial completion and a solid showing at the Biotech Showcase in coming weeks...we'd finally have some decent momentum. Excellent timing heading into 2019. Happy New Year folks.
Indeed. Methinks we need to send over a few complimentary bottles of our "market ready" cream ASAP hah :) How many social media followers do the two of them have?? Yowza. Merry XMAS all.
This has Zeevi's fingerprints all over it. I think she has balls...and alot of intelligence. Frankly, im surprised this news of the amendment was largely ignored on this board. From where I sit, this is a big deal. All IMHO of course. Cheers all.
I very much agree. What happens to our SP if we have clinical data proving our tablet can outperform their treatment? Food for thought..... ;)
Good forward progress. Nice bit of news before the holidays. The most interesting part to me was the application to amend the trial and compare our tablet to GW's MS treatment. Im guessing that is the implication. Is this news I missed somewhere along the lines or is this fresh news to everyone? Cheers. Happy Holidays.
Is this your opinion or the opinion of "your group?" I like it so much more when you reference them in each post. It really legitimizes your statement and drives it home for me.
Goodness....The reek of desperation is overwhelming.
Lol? I am not disputing that Israel Research understands how CBD and THC interacts with the body. That doesn't change the fact that any competent cannabis lab in the world could take a sample of their cream and break down its EXACT composition of cannabinoids and terpenes. I work in the industry in the states. I've seen hundreds of these lab reports on a wide array of cannabis products.
I'm not sure why everyone was always so eager about getting the cream to market in the 1st place. Without patent protection they'd be totally exposing themselves. All anyone needs is a few hundred dollars in their pocket and a nearby Cannabis Lab to find out the exact composition of terpenes and cannabinoids in the cream. I'm no expert but ive always thought the patents need to come 1st, regardless of "Market Readiness."
Moxa, That was exactly my point. On both todays and Decembers 8k regarding the tablet I feel as though OWCP is trying to portray that a smokeless method of medicating with cannabis is somehow revolutionary, when it definitely is not. What is revolutionary is developing a smokeless medication that can be manufactured to EXACT specifications and subsequently can hold up in strict clinical trials. Current smokeless medications are developed to fall within a specified dosage range. For example, an edible labeled as having 10mg of THC does not mean it has exactly 10mg. One may have 9.6 mg, the next 10.3, and so on. You are almost never getting an edible that has exactly what is printed on the label. I believe that OWCP has developed this tablet to meet EXACT dosages which can be duplicated over and over again (although to my knowledge they have never specifically said this). If true, it would be huge.
I do like the news released today in the 8k although I am very surprised they continue to place so much emphasis on the smokeless aspect of the disintegrating tablet. I work in the cannabis industry in Massachusetts, there are already dozens of methods to ingest THC and/or CBD without smoking. Just at my dispensary alone we have lozenges, capsules, edibles of all types, suppositories, etc...the list goes on.
"The ability to manufacture a tablet under strict quality control and quality assurance standards is intrinsic to this dosage form and to the establishment of strict clinical standards."
To me, this is the most critical part of the 8k and the tablet itself. It is what separates the tablet from any standard, smokeless form of THC (of which there are countless). I just wish the company would emphasize this more. Just my 2 cents. Long time holder, 1st time poster. Cheers
