JR/Ex/LC, what are your thoughts on this 2018 JAMA Oncology article stating that the average time from available results to publication is 300 days? I'm sure Covid would bump that up a bit, so does knowing that we're actually currently around the average publication time change your views? You've said that because we're a bit less than a year out that's "an extremely bad sign" and "ridiculous"--JAMA says otherwise.
Article quote: "Even for the most pressing study findings, median publication delays approach 1 year"
https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamaoncology/fullarticle/2678095
oh now medical journals are just for “spin,” lol
Sure, but the point is that an article for a top journal takes a long time to be peer reviewed, urgency on NWBO's part does not necessarily translate to an emergency on the reviewers part, who are used to being told "this is urgent!" all the time from submitters.
JR is claiming that a year-long review for a journal is out of the ordinary and "an extremely bad sign." I'm just showing an example that it's actually kinda normal to take this long if you're going the publication route. You have to admit that if they just PR'ed TLD right after data lock they would have been bashed nonstop by AF & crew--I'd prefer silence to that if I were LP (and LL).
Didn't NVCR take from Dec 2016 - Dec 2017 to be peer reviewed and published--ending in a JAMA article?

A few points you're dishonest about / completely making up:
1.
weird, delusional, wrong and now... boring
not selling a single share until TLD and $6 minimum
i’m not a trader. been accumulating for seven years, at 300,000 now and never sold a share
i’m thinking PR monday, ASM tuesday, LL talk wednesday will lead us to $3+ by end of next week
“called it wrong”? many of us are up 5x+
things have moved slowly, but bears have also been wrong. “they’ll never lock the data”... “RS coming up”... etc
no one knows for sure if the data will be stellar or meh, but the endpoint change (and recognition from at least some RAs) is huge, and people have placed their bets.
what i really don’t understand is why some folks who aren’t even invested post here every single day for years on end... what is the point?
your stats also only pertain to median survival, and do not address the extremely high 3, 4, and 5 year survival data
DCVax’s selection criteria is on par with all other GBM trials, and seems to be faring better. All clinical trials whittle their patients down from the general pool, and NWBO’s is extremely similar to comparators based on age, methylated status, etc—and yes, REP. If you think their selection criteria is nefarious, go ahead and compare it to other recent GBM trials. You’ll see little difference. And yet, DCVax blended data is better than the pack. That seems to be consistent with... hmm.
Wrong, ex. Think about it. Take a set of, say nine numbers (I'll even skew them):
14
17
18
19
22
29
37
55
79
The median is the 5th number, 22. Then, subtract 3.1 from all numbers:
10.9
13.9
14.9
15.9
18.9
25.9
33.9
51.9
75.9
The median is still the 5th number, 18.9. The difference between 22 and 18.9 is, of course, 3.1. The mean will always be more than the median in a right-skewed set, yes, but that doesn't apply here since no one is talking about the mean and we're just shifting the whole data set.
the jump in early sept was due to flaskworks news—what’s your reasoning that we’ll go up if no news is heard?
nwbo share price movement is almost entirely news-based
? I followed it pretty easily
I think our difference in opinion comes from my thinking that data lock and unblinding are separate, whereas you’re assuming that because data lock happened, it’s a given that they are unblinded.
your sources say that they’d wait to unblind until they have buy-in. we know data lock has happened, we do not know they’ve been unblinded.
i think it’s possible they locked the data after the 5-yr mark for everyone—no sense in going longer—but could still not have buy-in from the FDA so chose not to become unblinded until that happens. data is locked, everything is set to go and things are looking up in the UK, but FDA still hasn’t given the green light so LP is waiting to become unblinded. obviously i don’t know this, but think it’s possible, and don’t see any PRs that refute this
thanks, wish they would give us direct statements like the RAs have bought in instead of having us hunt down three dots to connect.
but your sources still don’t mention data lock, which is all we really know that has happened. they both mention that once RAs have bought in they will proceed to unblinding and data analysis. we do not know that either unblinding or data analysis have happened—only data lock. no?
where is the source for #7 in your post? I believe it's possible that NWBO changed the endpoints, then locked the data, and are still blinded waiting for FDA buy-in. I think they've got it from the other three--at least UK. but I don't see the connection that locking the data means buy-in from FDA, unless you could please provide a source for that. Thanks.
it's over? lol i'm up six-fold
“NWBio provided guidance that they received Buy-in from all 4 regulatory authorities.”
where?
This is why I haven't hesitated to keep adding. One of the few bear arguments left is that NWBO is a scam and Linda is just stringing investors along to make money.
I met Linda outside of the NWBio sphere, and know that's not her. She has lost close family members to cancer, including GBM. She is on a mission to beat this thing, no matter what is thrown at her. She had plenty of money before NWBO, and still has plenty--it's not about the money. Seeing the bears chant that NWBO is a scam makes me buy more because I personally know that's completely false--and if that's all they've got, then we're golden.
some things seem sure in the market—and a while later you figure out you were so so wrong. i get your logic, but i’ve had similar logic for many stocks where the share price ended up doing the exact opposite. a lot of us longs are already up 5+x and can afford to hold for however long it takes
OSU Dr. Elder in Oct 2015 said “We would like, five years from now, to be able to say, ‘The line was 15 months and now it’s 30,’”
Data was locked almost exactly 5 years later.

in tandem with Biden's recent remarks (for those who missed it,
), things could be aligning well.President Biden Tours the OSU James Cancer Hospital.

"And so that and immunotherapy that you're working on, I think hold the key." -- @JoeBiden@OSUCCC is one of the $NWBO #DCVax-L trial sites.https://t.co/0KVAJiLBFf$mrk $bmy #glioblastomahttps://t.co/upaK9FGWXP
the question is how many immunotherapy trials are OSU cancer hospital participating in? if DCVax were the only one, that’s amazing news for NWBO. If 60... meh, he could be referring to any of them
did we ever iron out the requirements for uplisting? that’d be some welcome news that wouldn’t break their trial-related quiet period
did we ever iron out the reqs for uplisting? that’d be some welcome news that wouldn’t break their trial-related quiet period
dcvax saves lives directly, tsla saves lives indirectly by decreasing carbon output and slowly climate change to an extent. i’m hugely bullish on nwbo and don’t own any tsla, but EVs do more than just get you to the store
sure but even April will be very very delayed from their “few weeks” after data lock. Or “end of September”, or... etc.
April 2021 would be extremely delayed. Par for the course for NWBO. The timing is right.
same here, but why publish a book that in large part describes the trial and its technology if you know you’ll be releasing the full data shortly? i would think she/they would wait to include it. so either we’re getting TLD before April 28th, or it’s still like 8+ months away (i think the former makes more sense)
Monday, April 5th, 9:42am
And I think you mean +/-100%
I’ve been thinking March 8th, 9:43am for a while now. Finally got to my goal of 300,000 shares today and ready for the data.
