woops, i meant to say bribe.
Fer realz. Can't we bring them to get priority. Come on meni lol
still no f'n license.
I averaged down more this morning.
Personally, I feel better now that they got an extra 20mm.
They can still pull this off.
I did not, but someone posted this on yahoo:
Summary:
No reverse split

Psychedelic extraction is being explored in the form of vape cartridges

They want to access the Quebec Market
There's a lack of institutional investment due to visibility because they've been inward focused on building the company and Edward is now here to build an outward strategy to gain institutional investment.
Also due to SD's tarnishing .
Profitability hopefully by 2021.
Europe hardware isn't closing - it's consolidating.
Q3 was flat due to covid issues.
My guess is.
Biden winning is giving day traders the opportunity to make some coin in Canadian mj stocks. As usual, it's the producers that get all the attention. (despite most of them still posting massive losses). Regardless, attention cascades because why wouldn't you want to day trade on the stocks that have peoples attention. For everyone else, fomo kicks in and those whose faith has been so worn down, decide to gamble. No doubt, a lot of people selling namaste will still lose when they move those funds to the other canadian mj stocks and fail to get out before them come crashing back down when the day traders take profit.
So why is faith worn down?
1. seeing other mj stocks move and this one not move.
2. until recently, namaste's mj income is mostly coming from medical and medical is still in it's infancy. whether or not namaste's long game of being ahead of the curve by focusing on and accumulating medical data will pay off. who knows. It's gonna be a while. But in the mean time, they need to focus on rec. Which they've started to do but barely started. So it's not surprising they having been doing much sales.
3. I think they could keep a bit more faith by just being upfront and honest and explain things like why 3rd quarter was worse than 2nd.
I would agree with that. I just don't have any spare coin to risk right now. As much as I'd like to average down.
Actually, I lie, I'm not buying anymore.
2020 sucks. so bad lol.
I'm at buyer at 16 cents haha. brutal.
I wonder how much emphasis namaste puts on the value of strain effectiveness+interaction when they are pitching to LPs for signing up to cannmart.
"We have a lot of LPs (licensed producers) who want to be part of this system now, because they’re going to be able to get outcomes."
I think ckeditor usually allows you to edit the source code, but it looks like they have that option disabled in this case.
Despite html supporting background images for table cells, it appears table cells don't have that option in the ckeditor gui. However the Table element, on the advanced tab, lets you edit the css style code. I haven't tried, but you could likely set the table background image by adding "background=image-path" to the style code.
The smoke being stretched isn't as bad as the text itself being stretched. It would be better to have the text overlaid instead of embedded in the graphic. Which would keep the text clean and editable so spelling mistakes can be fixed easier. haha.
But do as you please.
That's more or less what I put, including proper spelling, and proper resolution images. It looks like Potter put his touch on it though.
I'll spruce it up a bit more. Also, I did it on my computer, didn't think about how it was going to look on a phone.
I started. Pita working with the pre-existing table structure. I hate web-design, even if it involves using a wysiwyg editor.
If someone updates it. Can you move the graphics to the bottom of the forum or less graphics or smaller graphics?
Loading this forum on your phone can be really annoying because it takes so long for the graphics to load.
They put out a pr because they replied? are you f'ing serious. lolz
wait, they just say cannabis products. Are we sure this includes actual mj?
Boom shaka laka
I really don't think a new product release is impressive enough to make a major announcement. Why? just because you carry a new product doesn't really hint at much of anything. Maybe it would be worth it if they were able to get a product at a really good deal equating to high markup. But other than that...
Looks like he partied hard last night (with that felt dick on his hand) and also looks like he did a rail before recording that video haha.
That is relieving news. Let's hope it also doesn't get cancelled by end of August lolz. I wouldn't be surprised at this point.
Lolz Giovanni is still here? Hilarious.
Indeed
because designing that from scratch takes a lot more time than you think. Computer software doesn't just write itself. It takes time and lots of testing. then more testing. then more testing. A pre-established platform still runs into major bugs over time but since it's usually used by a lot more people, those bugs are found sooner and dealt with.
That said, I was also thinking this would just be another US brand with product sourced in Canada. But this isn't just pre-rolls, it's topicals. I would imagine it wouldn't be very easy for cannmart to source a supplier of topicals. It would be even harder for them to make the topicals out of cannabis.
I suppose, they could get the product from the states and only sell it on government platforms?
ah yeah, it was from his twitter. Topicals.
In the final stages of brokering one of the biggest #California topical brands crossing the border for one of my LP clients.....feels good to have some traction during #Covid_19

That said, if appeal for US companies to get into Canadian market is high enough to get exclusivity, they should also be pushing for higher margins out of these companies. However, I'm guessing this will be more of a branding thing and N will still have to source the weed itself from a Canadian LP. Similar to Ignite. So the margins would have more to do with them?
Well, if canadian LPs are hesitant to join our platform, usa companies are a good target. We should be appealing because we can offer them an IN to the Canadian market. Especially appealing since it doesn't seem like mj will be federally legal in the usa any time soon. (though that might not matter as much cuz it can still be legal in states and i thought i read the other day they passed a bill to protect states that decided to legalize). But still.
Every new addition (especially from the US), should create appeal for Canadian LPs in my opinion.
Yeah, but it was so vague that it looked like more of a comment on the guys resume. But, I do hope it's more than that. Also, this kinda makes me think of something i saw the other day. Need to find the article though.
Is that in reference to ignite?
I realize it wouldn't be super easy to set up, but i wonder how feasible it would be for namaste to "lease" out online storefront capability to private brick and mortar that the process of setting up an online store will be too overwhelming. Maybe with storefronts as subdomains of cannmart. Cannmart could then make profit on the "lease" as well as take a cut.
Not for recreational.
I would imagine that if it was that simple, it would have been done. There has to be more to the story. Whatever it is, I get the impression that Meni is trying to be respectful by letting the convo die instead of it getting dramatic and personal.
We just have to wait and see what happens. Meni's lack of enthusiasm during the last live stream could have been due to many things. The last while has been extremely exhausting for everyone. Having to last minute change all protocols for covid has been insane for all businesses. No doubt. I know it has been at my place of work. He was probably just tired and it the impression came out a little flat.
With how proactive they are being in regards to no mislead anyone, I would be surprised that they don't have things lined up since they've put up an edibles section on their site. wtf would they do that if it literally wasn't coming.
It would appear margins are simply the biggest issue. Things that would drive that would be demand for your services (b2c) which would make you more appealing for (b2b) (giving you more bargaining power on price). That's an assumption, i'm no business professional.
In an illegal to advertise environment, I'm assuming the biggest advertising would be word of mouth by people that use the service. Well, revenue grew considerably and i'm assuming that has to do with a growing customer base. Bigger the customer base = more word of mouth advertising. It's just going to take a little while. So increased demand should be one way towards better bargaining power and better margins.
Second, we're just waiting on labs to be approved and ready, which should also improve margins.
In time.
Not impossible but also not likely to happen any time soon.
The only way I could see that happen is if they get bought/backed by someone with deep deep pockets. Like cannpy has.
Or they start turning a very large profit, which is unrealistic at the moment.
Also averaged down a bit today. My average is still pretty high at 1.25. but whatever, I don't mind waiting.
welcome to the internet. (boomer?lolz)
little script to help with your average down endeavors.
I'm sure most of you use stock trading platforms. I do not besides my brokerage account. Anyways, I wrote a quick script in javascript/html for calculating what my average cost would be if i purchased at different quantity increments vs different costs. It's fairly convenient.
Here is a link. You just need to copy all the code, paste it into a text editor like notepad and save it as a .html file and then open it locally in your web browser.
If you want your base price and brokerage fee to always be the same when you open it, you just need to edit the first few lines where those values are set.

Here's the lines to edit if you wanted.
what a cesspool lol
