Or maybe everybody watched tv last night? 😂
If you think the first time investor is not looking into what they are purchasing then you are just like our current leadership, thinking you are smarter than the “average” person. It’s doubtful anyone would invest in this company other than because of the Bible versus and other statements that are put out there, investors of Zion are either due to an act of faith or a short that is manipulating the stock. With that said, only the “short” really has anything to lose in the long run, so who is actually the smart one?
20 or 30$$ would work also…????
It may be old but I have not seen it published before…
Has anyone seen this before?https://www.dglaw.co.il/oil-and-gas-exploration-in-israel/
With recent advances in energy technology, oil reserves which were previously inaccessible and too expensive to extract are now being able to be developed. Zion Oil & Gas recently announced its interest in developing a large shale oil deposit 30 miles west of Jerusalem. These deposits comprise the 3rd largest shale oil reserve in the world and expect to yield 250-500 billion barrels of oil. Many experts believe that Israel has a volume of oil in this reserve and other undiscovered shale oil reserves equivalent to that of Saudi Arabia.
Is any
Just a question, I wonder why we have never had more telling pictures/videos leaked from the drill site. Somebody with large investments and the “know how” should be able or have been able to get more entertaining shots than the ones we have seen.
Also, No disrespect intended, just the opposite, your opinion is valued by many of us I believe…
Are you saying your conclusion is that Zion lies or that is the conclusion many are coming to due to timing and info disclosure?
I’ve seen something like this on more than one website:
The new arrangements with Egypt allow for the export of Israeli gas entering the Jordan gas transmission system at Beit She'an to be piped southward into Egypt at Aqaba via the Arab Gas Pipeline (AGP).
The Israeli energy ministry said exports via the route were expected to be 2.5-3 Bcm in 2022 and could increase to 4 Bcm in subsequent years.
Maybe a live feed of the first flare at the meeting?
It seems logical that Israel would want to use Zion oil (if enough) for their own needs since it would be easier to protect. The offshore production could then be used to supply others. Could be a lot of transitioning being planned or in the works…
At this point, would it be safe to say (even with any new or extended licenses) that if MJ2 has no productive oil, then we are being strung along? I would think many would have to be involved? Not from an emotional standpoint but a factual. Knowing this could make a difference on what investors do when disclosure is released.
Hasn’t there been multiple types of testing going on, the DST is a different type if I read correctly…
Now that would answer a lot of my questions…
So if testing is not completed or an announcement has not been made by August and no extension or new license is granted, what happens at that point?
How much extra funds would be needed if MJ2 is moved to production. If more would be needed and the existing license ends in August, how can Zion say they have enough money to last till Jan of next year?
Does that email also provide approval for Zion to release that it has submitted the application or at least that the question can be answered?
We were told their lease was extended till August correct? Who would have authorized and why? I believe this has been answered a few times…
I agree no new exploration license is discussed in the 10k but it sure does mention a lot about a 30-50 year production agreement…?
Not flare gas, just burn as residentail/commercial fuel. Was trying to be funny, not too worried about it either way…still waiting to see but today looks better than yesterday.
Might also offset some of the environmental concerns in Israel at least, let Lebanon burn it on their land I guess the thought could be…thx Kyoil Just a little odd they would run new piping without new discovered producable oil/gas all the way over to Jordan when they already have one for the offshore sites.
Isn’t this near Zion drill site?

I expect we may have another update sooner than we may think, maybe after the casing/liner is completed.
Sounds like Zion has been shut down for a while, either because of covid, waiting on deliveries(I would assume this is a worldwide problem), or security reasons.
I would assume we are somewhere between logging the casing and perforating the casing:

3.2 Well Design and Construction
Drilling and completing an oil and/or gas well consists of several sequential activities. A list of these activities appears below, and those that are addressed in this guidance document are shown in bold. In sequential order, these activities are as follows:
— a
building the location and installing fluid handling equipment,
HYDRAULIC FRACTURING OPERATIONS—WELL CONSTRUCTION AND INTEGRITY GUIDELINES 3
— setting up the drilling rig and ancillary equipment and testing all equipment,
— drilling the hole,
— logging the hole (running electrical and other instruments in the well) (see note),
— running casing (steel pipe) (see note),
— cementing the casing (see note),
— logging the casing (see note),
— removing the drilling rig and ancillary equipment,
— perforating the casing (depending on completion type),
— hydraulic fracturing or stimulating the well,
— installing artificial lift equipment (if necessary),
— install surface production equipment,
— putting the well on production,
— monitoring well performance and integrity,
— reclaiming the parts of the drilling location that are no longer needed and removing equipment no longer used.
What, did Web say something? JK Web, Merry Christmas all!!
I expect Zion has people that know what they are doing, is it good for each and every investor? Probably not possible, have to remember it’s also a business...it will work out one way or another, just praying Im on the good side??
Thanks Kyoil, watch out, you going to have us laymen understanding this stuff if you keep it up...:)
Also read a website today that listed Zion and 17 others (including Delek) as oil and gas “extraction” companies, I didn’t keep the link...
At this point, even before this point, enough testing and drilling has been done to tell Israel whether or not to extend a license they had banned for everyone. That in itself is the most telling info we’ve had IMO. I don’t see how Israel or Zion will be able to slow play this for too long much less 8 months.
So we got picked up by Starmine for analysis purposes? Been a while since we were dropped...
And now neighbor Jordan has just announced they are drilling 3 new medium sized wells...hmmmm
Sorry, it says VP of operations not crew leader...
Yes, that is the site I saw that on, was a little confusing to me as well. I read it as if the total depth had been reached but now they need to test before drilling laterally. I’m not an oil guy so not sure how feasible that is. Also, not sure if the site is legit, just found it interesting that it was stating something they say the crew leader on the ground said.
Not sure all of this was in the original release:
The company’s VP of Operations, Monty Kness, emphasizes they have reached the true vertical depth for the second stage of drilling. He credits the crew’s effort of fighting against the natural pressure of the earth to ensure the wellbore trajectory doesn’t deviate from the target.
Reaching the intermediate target zones with a borehole that can support the larger casing and production tubing to make a viable well, is extremely important. The company is all set to complete logging, casing, and cementing of this section and then proceed with drilling toward the ultimate target zones. Drilling of the MJ02 well has been completed to a total depth of 5,531 meters (18,141 feet) with a six-inch (6?) open hole at that depth. The primary zone of interest contains encouraging shows of hydrocarbons.
Just thought I’d throw this out there, believe it or not, it’s not just longs that are crazy...lol
https://walletinvestor.com/stock-forecast/znogw-stock-prediction
Its hilarious to watch the 3 or 4 people that are so disgusted with updates and discovery/nondiscovery disclosures, that don’t know what to do with themselves. Zion probably holding the updates, as legally able, just to watch the shorts anguish over an exploration company...long live the short...lol!!
I guess my real question is you wouldn’t call it completion if you were going to plug it?
In the email from Zion, the last sentence states MJ2 completion, does that mean preparing the well for production?
