maybe so? Anyway, what's the point of rubbing it in?
Ouch. Is this the end of the line? Was a nice run. Has Nick said anything? Best wishes to everyone here. What could have been......
Thanks! I believe I'd read some speculation on here that some type of extension was made.... maybe because the property hasn't been re-listed?
Hopefully something works out!!
Did anyone guess Alabama in the contest last year? At this point I think any holder who has stuck it out should get a tour of the facility once everything is built.
Good morning! Someone asked me this, but just for the record, the questions I had about UL.... I was in fact the one who had asked it on Twitter back in March or April.. Something was in the back of my mind, I just didn't recall.. so thanks for putting that info out there.
Sounds like UL will be pursued once the Alabama factory is up and running.
I am holding my shares and I hope something works out soon. I know Nick had a big investor a while ago who bought a bunch of shares when the price was high. Maybe this person will help with financing to get this thing in Alabama going.
Thank you!
I would love to get an update from Nick about this. I believe I asked something about it on Twitter a few months back and I believe he'd said something about once the factory was up and running. I don't know much about the UL process and whether something needs to be in Mass Production in order to earn the certificiation. If anyone knows Nick, maybe ask him to Tweet an update about this?
I don't recall anything about funds being needed years ago when UL came up. If I recall correctly, I believe we had submitted our product to go through the process, and my understanding was that we couldn't mass produce or get funding until UL came through. It seems that was the reason given for not being able to mass produce yet. Once UL got done, then everything else would fall into place. Not quoting anyone there, that was just my understanding.
Anyway, we'll see what happens!
Thank you! I suppose that UL can't come until it's mass produced? I understand we want to produce it in house, but I would have thought certification could be had without any of that?
Anyway, happy Labor day to all
What ever did happen with UL Certification? That should be easier than getting a plant in Alabama built from scratch.. I'd like to know where that effort is or if it's ongoing. Perhaps that would give some insight into the chances of something working out in Alabama. Holding on for now.
If he can get things going in Alabama he's welcome to build his own personal fortress on the Med-R RI property for all I care.
Nick didn't need 'time'. We owe him so much in deferred compensation. As I understand it, Nick could theoretically just foreclose on everything and take it all for himself, so anything short of that isn't going to be a problem for me.
With MedRecycler, it had to be out of SNPW's name because that's what the lenders wanted.
So my question is... What do you think he's buying time for? TO me, that conclusion doesn't really hold water because NIck doesn't need to buy time.
We already own shares, and he's not selling new ones on to the market. If Nick didn't care about shareholders. he... just... wouldn't care.
The fact that the company is Tweeting and putting info out there for shareholders seems like a good thing to me. They're not really gaining anything financially by doing it... I think it's because they care about the shareholders and about the ultimate success of this company.
If I'm wrong, let me know, but I just see no need for anyone to be 'buying time' as you suggest.
Well that's always the goal.. and I am a shareholder so obviously I've made up my mind to some extent. Another poster here who is clearly bullish and long did credit this person's DD, so I have no issue talking to them until something untrue is stated.
In this case, I feel that our CEO was being unfairly maligned so I figured a response was in order. I believe NIck is a good guy and hope his projects succeed!
How has he lost millions? I've been gone for a while but share count is right where it was when I left. Some of these things take years to build up to. Yeah, a lot of money and time have been spent, but hopefully there will be a payoff.
You can't be serious about Nick being the worst CEO. You know how many people are out there defrauding their own companies? This guy is putting himself personally on the line and at risk and has been doing so for years. I know you've got a job to do and I get that, but man.... how can you feel good about saying that kind of stuff?
Thanks for posting this, just ran across it and it gets me mostly caught up. Man this Elba thing will really be a boon if we can get it going. The revenue projections are huge! Nick has been deferring his salary forever. Man if he can get something going here, he deserves everything he is owed and a ton more. I respect the tenacity and I hope it pays off for him!
Has anyone spoken with Nick lately? I emailed the other day but not expecting a response since I haven't been active in a while, at least on here (Though I do like all the Twitter posts). If anyone has I'd like to hear your take. Thanks!
Thank you, I appreciate your thoughts. Have a nice evening sir, and good luck to all shareholders!
Thank you for the summary. It does seem to be a string of great ideas that did not come to fruition. Sounds like we're waiting for a loan right now. For those who believe this will work out, I'm curious what you're thinking will happen in the next few weeks/months and why those things haven't happened to this point.
I have 'hope' but I would love to have something more concrete.
We shall see!
Thanks for your input.. I know you're not a fan and to give credit where credit is due.. You've been right the last couple of years. Lots of folks have a healthy dose of optimism, but at some point that has to be balanced with some results.
We've looked at projects in RI, Mexico, Australia, Alabama, and maybe others. If you'd said a year ago that this is where we'd be in a year I could see you having been called a basher... but you would have been right.
Things do take a long time and I'm hoping that we hear something sooner rather than later!
Hey guys it's been a while.. What I can surmise is that the funding hasn't come through yet to do the purchase in Alabama. Looks like we have all the tax and stuff like that approved, just need someone with a lot of money to come along and pay for it.
We still seem to be active with filing and posting on twitter and all that so I get the sense that Nick is still hopeful and expecting all of this to work out.
Share price seems to reflect that the market has doubts.
Thanks for any thoughts or projected timelines you can share with me that I may have missed over recent months!
Had to sell some shares a month or two back to pay bills.. Was able to buy every single one of them back today, and at a discount.
Good things on the horizon I hope!
GLTA
Congrats on a nice day all.. I've been grinding hard these last few months to scrape up some extra cash, and I'm pleased to say that I have not sold a share... and not planning to now. Hope this is just the start of many more good days.
Nick is really good with logistics and planning.. Love to see him getting all the pieces in place. That shows the balance of optimism, realism, and maturity that I love to see in a CEO.
Hoping great things ahead.. Now back to work so I can still be holding when we get there!
Good evening! Anything happening? I try to stay away and just check every few months, makes things go much faster.
Durango? UL? RI lawsuit? Australia?
I know NIck has been working hard and hope something comes through. Still holding my shares!
GLTA
Silly question... but where is the US manufacturing facility? Thanks!
surprised to see the price this low with the flurry of activity going on. Figured we'd hold above a cent for sure. Durango seems to be on the table in Mexico, and things seem to be going well here.
Nick's been working hard... Holding for the results!
I love that this is an approximation. If they had paid me enough... I could have gone up there and counted myself.
please post the results of this discussion. I think a rights offering would be interesting as well.
I am not nearly as worried about a R/S as many seem to be. Nick had years where he could have done one... and he didn't... which shows that he's not going to do it for just any reason.
If he does do a R/S, I believe it will be well thought out and in the best interest of holders. Frankly, I don't even care if it's 100:1, 1000:1, whatever. If any of these deals come through, at it looks like we're heading in that direction, our shares are going to be worth a lot whether there is a R/S or not.
We shall see!
Exciting times! Still holding my shares.. Puzzling to see the price where it's at, but whatever... Exciting about the patents, factory, and I think Durango may go forward at some point. Good things take time!
NIck has exercised discretion thus far. He could have done a R/S for a long time and didn't. It's tough to anticipate what circumstances will come along, and it's hard to say what ratio would be right if he did R/S.
I can see plenty of 'good' reasons to do it. Uplisting and making a financing deal where we need equity funding are two big ones. THe second is dilutive, but isn't necessarily bad. If someone wanted to invest billions in SNPW and our tech, then it's entirely appropriate to R/S and give them some shares for that.. all ours would go up in value as a result.
As has been true for the last couple of years, the fate of this Co. will not be determined by whether we R/S or not... it will be determined by profit. The rest will take care of itself. GLTA!
Not sure... They mentioned an uplist on Twitter and so hopefully that's the only motivation for this.
I don't think an uplist would have done a whole lot for us previous to now anyway.. Until something happens and works out, the big people aren't going to invest. We've got a lot of contracts, letters of intent, etc... but until something is fully approved and funded, I don't think we'd be popping past $1.00 regardless of where we're traded.
I think it's a good sign that NIck is looking at uplisting now, because I'm guessing that would coincide with a solid deal coming to fruition. We shall see!
Rough day!
The potential R/S is going to be an overhang. While I don't love bashing, I agree with everyone who has made the point that saying there will be no increasing the A/S above a billion doesn't really help if there's a 1:1000 RS. It should be a given that in that case A/S wouldn't increase.
My hope is that NIck would do a R/S for the sole purpose of getting us to a price that allows an uplist.
We may eventually need to do so to free up shares to give to some partners in a project, but hopefully that kind of stuff happens when the price is much higher than it is now.
Overall, Nick has done a solid job of not diluting these last 2 years. He has looked out for shareholders and I have to assume that will continue, so I'm not too worried. We do need to keep closing above a penny to uplist to the OTCQB I believe, so we'll see if we can stay there.. I think NIck is looking bigger anyway.
This feels a lot like January 2021
Let's do this!
Agree. Nick works hard and he cares about shareholders. He really wants to see us all succeed, and I've gotten emails directly from him which proved that believe that I already had.
MMs are scrambling here... but they're in trouble because Nick is working even harder!
Any of us who have held for months/years certainly aren't selling now. I think a lot of this volume has to be mms trading back and forth trying to establish a level and hold it there?
Would be curious to hear from anyone here who sold today. Not a criticism or anything, would just like to hear your thoughts.. I will acknowledge that 40% in one day is quite a gain.
Whats up guys. It's been a while. I'm still holding and hoping. Saw the tweet and I was like 98% that it was going to be about Durango since the bill didn't pass.
It being something else was a nice surprise, because I still think Durango is on the table...
Nice to see us back up above a penny.
Slow and steady wins the race.
Nick is a boss and I appreciate his perseverance. This is just the beginning!
Would be great to have some shareholders present. I always enjoyed the reports last year and look forward to these as well. Would love if someone starts talking about cookies again!
I don't disagree.... and if one believes it will settle, then it would seem one should be a part of some legal action, whether it's ours or their own. I don't want to see any shareholder not get anything... except Billy of course. :)
Good morning! Been a while.. Kind of slow for things to develop here so I've been elsewhere ( it helps reduce stress a lot!)... but still holding mine and hoping to see positive results.
I still believe that Nick is solid guy, works hard, has contacts, and cares about shareholders.
I think things just take an extreme amount of time in this business, especially if you're starting from scratch.
Hope everyone is doing well... I'll check in here again in another couple of months!
If you like what you are seeing and will see over the coming days, consider supporting the effort and protecting your interests.
Lots of action lately, and more to come!
