You are completely right. My apologies.
My mistake! Good to know that LWLG is not tied to LPC.
In the current agreement LWLG is tied to LPC till early 2022.
Why do we still need Photoshopped logo's on our device? Come on! This is very amateurish..

So actually no one knows how many people are actually are working on the technology?
Good question! Really curious on the status of this modulator. In 2018 they a announced a working prototype and that some potential customers were involved. Maybe they got the feedback that more testdata was required.
How many employees does Lightwave Logic currently have? And how many of them are actually doing the work in the lab?
The company was founded in 1991 as PSI-TEC Corporation and became a publicly traded entity in July 2004. PSI-TEC changed its name to Third-Order Nanotechnologies in October 2006, and again to Lightwave Logic in March 2008.
Yep, sometimes it feels like we are in a loop.
It's also in the shareholders interest to communicate better and raise awareness about the groundbreaking stuff happening at LWLG. Most things I recommend are not very expensive and just common sense.
Let's be honest to conclude that the PR / Marketing of LWLG is very poor and disappointing. They could have done it so much better. There seem to be no strategy in terms of communication with the outer world and investors.
- use social media during ECOC, and special events to create awareness;
- make sure all relevant technical information is present on the website immediately after the presentation of Michael Lebby;
- make sure that the website is professional and up-to-date.
I really don't know where Karen Lui is busy with. All my hope is in the technical solutions and capabilities of Michael Lebby to convince potential customers / partners.
This one hurts..
Will this be the day we will all remember?

No, nothing yet..
"However, having the backing of notable IB, VC or angel investors would address the stigma of using LPC, a financier of last resort."
Exactly. Hopefully we can get rid of them very soon. A shady company that harms image of LWLG.
We are all trapped into the dynamics of LPC. The PPS is heavily influenced by them and the fact that LWLG still has no traction because of missing external validation, completed tests or inked deals. Only a major development can save us from their chains.
This is exactly my main concern. I can't get my head around it. A promising groundbreaking technology (+15 years), on a strange way financed by LPC, with no big company that is willing to take the risk to get financially involved in order to get the first mover advantage. Weird!
Are we missing something?
Proto will reply that I am part of the manipulation team, but that's not the case. I am just a curious shareholder.
Maybe you are right, I was triggered by the title of the Intel presentation at ECOC 'Integrated Silicon Photonics for Future Datacenter Applications'.
Dummy question:
What will happen with our stock in case LWLG moves to Nasdaq?
Looking at the "Market Focus' timetable gives some comfort because Lightwave Logic is on the list between companies like Intel, HP, Cisco and Microsoft. Enough reason to believe 'real' significant developments are happening and LWLG is a serious factor in the landscape of photonics.
However, I don't know if we can expect a significant positive impact on the PPS. ECOC events in the past did not do anything with the shareprice. ML told us he would share data about the modulator tests. I think that this still too premature for a real impact on the PPS. Of course we need to look beyond the shareprice, but we already have had such a long patience. I cannot wait till the day we can be happy about the explosion of the PPS.
An important effort of our management will be to convince potential customers to choose polymers instead of silicons. I suspect that silicons are still more in the comfort zone of decision makers.
Same feeling here! Some folks on this board expect significant news this year.. The only goal is to temper expectations again.. Seems like a loop. They told us the shareholder letter was canceled, and out of the blue there it is again prior to the ECOC. Not a good sign.
Really disappointing shareholder letter! A lot of words but no sound.
Horrible website! Could be so much better. Expected some knowledge of this area from Karen Lui.
You are 100% right Nrdc92!
Yeah, let's hope so. But there also can be a scenario where things will not work out as we hope.
Same here. I sent them a mail three weeks ago but but did not get a reply so far.
Maybe they are off for a holiday. Maybe they are very busy with working towards big news.
Spot on!
I don't like that they stopped with the quarterly update without any notice.There might me valid reasons but that does not mean they can stop communicating.
Hi Walter,
Thanks for your clarification on the 50 ghz modulator. Did ML give any indication about when this device is ready to be sold? And if not do you have any indication about the time is will take to commercialize this device? Are we talking about months or years?
Nothing will happen on the short term. Hopefully Dr. Lebby can bring us joy within the next 2 years.
Has anybody asked about the efforts of Karen Liu? She is responsible for the marketing. They should pit more information out to get the Lightwave on the radar. There are many platforms and opportunities to do this.
Why is PT so quiet?
Regarding the agenda of the ASM I expect no significant news in the comming months. A real disappointment.
The communication with shareholders is really messy! Why is there nobody in the company with the proper experience on this topic? Also the user experience and design of the website is really poor. I thought Karen Liu would have this experience.
Why is there still no quarterly update? The only reason can be that there is good news for us as investors. If there is no good news it's a big disappointment.
Moment of thruth!
Despite all the positive developments, awards and conferences I think the next 4 weeks shall be vital for the future of Lightwave Logic. With the delayed quarterly shareholders update and the annual shareholders meeting within this timeframe hopefully we will finally see things that will seriously impact de PPS.
If there is no significant development that will positively impact the shareprice I will sell a big part of my current investment. Maybe I will regret later, but that's part of the game.
What is significant?
- Independent third party approval;
- First commercial order(s);
- Partnership with a big player.
Come on Michael Lebby!
Still no quarterly update? What's happening?
I would like to see the objective information they use to convince potential customers. I am not that technical, but try to get in the head of the potential customers. What info, besides own test runs, do they look for?
Furthermore,a real and clear picture of the device would also be more than welcome.
