WARNING TO ALL THAT TRADE WITH ETRADE.
I had a large holding of COOP and was doing great with Options trading in my Margin account. E*TRADE overnight removed ALL Margin buying power putting me in FED call and they just sold over 40K shares at the Market price.
I think they needed shares but selling most of my COOP really hurt me today. Do not trust Etrade their customer support changed after merge with Morgan Stanly.
Lodas, I thought about a roll but feel I can do better with a BTC limit order followed by a STO limit order on next week PUT.
I do not see the benefit of using the Roll as you seem to get only the ASK on your BTC and get the low Bid on STO
I will look at this tomorrow.
Lodas, my $42.50 and 43.00 look good, but I'll watch my 45.00 tomorrow if I want to BTC or let them get assigned but my cost is $42.36
I also have some $45 covered call and collected .60 and have orders in for next week.
I did get a scare on Tuesday when E*TRADE send immediate Fed call as they removed all my margin on COOP. It took some calling to get it worked out. I think they were tiring to force me to sell all my COOP - A$$ wholes.
Ron, always sell before you buy and I love the STO-Sell to Open PUTS
I just wrote the 2 weekly below. collecting $1.20 on $43 put and $1.10 on $42.50
On last Friday I also STO a $45. Call - Covered Call collecting .60 ps
COOP May 20 '22 $42.50 Put

COOP May 20 '22 $43 Put

Price type: Limit at $1.2
Execution price: $1.2

Lodas, I will be watching closely this afternoon before close to see where the MM will hold pps before close. I could buy back both my 44 and 44.50 and make a profit and need another .50 up for my 45 which I may let them assign.
I'm sure some short sellers covered yesterday. Then they moved the pps up $1.50 on 60 shares before open = manipulation.
I love how Easly the Market Manipulators moved COOP pps up $1.56 on 76 share trade premarket
jhd, One can not win playing option 100% of the time, but if you understand how to play them you can easily turn a short term loss into a gain by playing the other side ether it be a put or call.
There are some that have stated that us PUT sellers are shorting and that is not correct. A PUT sell is just the writer of the option and the one buying it is shorting the stock. A PUT seller is Optimistic that the pps is too low and it will go above their strike price at expiration.
If I told you how much I collected in the last 3 weeks you would understand I do not lose much if at all.
jhd, options traders do not post a lost until after expiration date. If you look at the may 13 weeklies the 45 Puts have the highest open interest. I expect the MM will stick the closing pps above $45 at close on Friday. I collected $1.75 on my 44.50 so currently just a little down but can BTC before expiration and still make a profit.
Also when you Sell you have time decay working on your side so each day closer to expiration - time value is less making it cheaper to buy to close. If it is below $42.75 on Friday that is my cost bases and if assigned I would STO a $45 Call.
I have a large holding of COOP and do expect it to go much higher. I do expect some positive news next week before the May 19th annual shareholders meeting.
lodas, I show $45.50 is the max pain for the 5/13 weeklies. I wrote 50 contracts yesterday on the $44 and $44.50 and collected nice $$$
My bet is MM will stick the pps above $45 on Friday close.
Lodas, I also STO the weekly May 13 $44 PUT
total of 30 contracts at $1.40 = $4200 cash today and have more orders in
COOP May 13 '22 $44 Put
Term: GTC
Price type: Limit at $1.4
Execution price: $1.4
Quantity: 20
I will keep 100% of the premium I collected this week about 8K and it will release a lot of capital I had tied-up for reserve on those STO PUTs.
So next Money will be fun again, and my hope is they move it down fast so I can lock in STO PUT premium and then move it up fast to lock in covered call. I'll let the MM move the pps to help me make more $$
It is fun to make good $$$ whether COOP goes up, down or does not move.
I see close for today at $46.16
For next week options and estimated pps COOP could move to by 5/13 next Friday. This max pain chart can help. https://maximum-pain.com/options/coop
Now this will change every day depending on pps movement / news. Right now, it shows max pain at $46.00 so if you plan to sell a covered call, I would look at 47 or higher.
If you are looking to STO a PUT I would look at $45 or under to be ITM. This is only a estimate based on open interest now in puts and calls.
Today it show max pain at $45 so at close the MM will pin it close to that pps
Now working on next weekly options and just STO May 13th $45 Put and collected $1.50 pps $$$$$$
COOP May 13 '22 $45 Put
Term: Day
Price type: Limit at $1.5
Execution price: $1.5
Quantity: 10
yes free and I like it. To be a good stock investor one must understand Options and why these MF - MM manipulate a stock at expiration date.
Now with COOP trading weekly options expect more volatility and higher volume every Friday. IMO we will see them close COOP close to $45 at the close.
My weekly STO PUTs this week will all close ITM and I will collect another 8K for this week and do the same next.
Looks like the max pain point for COOP today is $45 so we may see the MM manipulate COOP close to $45 at the close today.
https://maximum-pain.com/options/coop
What IDEX needs to do to hopefully improve the pps is get SEC compliant and file earning. When a company is this far behind on earnings it scares the sh$$$$t out of investors. What is next a reorganization or R/S nether good for investors. IDEX management needs to get their act together or possible we need new managers.
I also have 43.50 and 42.50 and 44.00 and for Tomorow I use a 1 or 3 day chart and looks to me we hitting the bottom as more buy volume is coming in last 30 min. so I expect we should see it move up slowly.
Also with time decay value if it is trading just below my 44 Strick. I could BTC and still get big profit I collected 1.25 on my 44 so I could always let them assign the stock and I'll STO next week CALL for $$ but again I am patent and would wait till it moves up to the top of Bollinger band.
We can all expect COOP will be more volatile now that weekly option are in place. Today the whole market is down big ( interest rates) so anything can happen
Thats good, I am out of reserves till after expiration tomorrow.
I watch a 7-day chart for weekly option with Bolinger bands and noticed that when it is trading below the bottom of the band and just ticks up is best time to STO a PUT and likewise when it is trading above the 7-day band and just ticks down is best time to STO Call option for weekly.
unfortunately, management of IDEX sucks and the pps keeps going lower until they get relisted and compliant with SEC reporting rules.
They have not filed 4th quarter 2021
They have not filed 2021 annual report
They have not filed 1st quarter 2022
IDEX will continue trading low volume as not being SEC compliant restricts most funds from trading. My concern now is a R/S
We may need a new BOD and management as current management has greatly destroyed the shareholder value.
lodas, I did get assigned the $45. puts as it closed at $44.98 and was happy as I had already collected $2.00 on them now I have a STO $49 CALL
I do not want to STO any CALLS for expirations after the Annual shareholders meeting May 19th as I think we could see positive news that could move COOP up above $50
Long term COOP looks good.
lodas, I wrote a lot of weekly 5/6 PUTS I have many between $42.50 - $44.00
and collected $7174 premium for the week and comfortable I will be 100% ITM on Friday expiration - it sure is fun$$$$
Royal Dude, yes, it is nice to see that report is current and there is assets.
However it is this report which is most important - https://sec.report/Document/0000929638-22-000849/washingtonmutual_ex99-1.htm
But look at the remaining assets as AZ has stated they have dwindled and their amount of $243,642,894 is millions not billions.
Also in that report is = It is JPMCB’s position that certain of the repurchase obligations of Washington Mutual Bank remain with the FDIC receivership
strikeeagle, I did 2 STO puts weekly the $44 & $43 collected $1.25 & $1.10
if I could get your email I have a Option notes checklist that I have put together and could send it or try mine g4pilotds@comcast.net
serafino, with the earnings and fundamentals of COOP = https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=COOP&ty=c&ta=1&p=d
I only see this going much higher IMO. Both you and your agent will never see $33 unless we have World War 3 with nuclear world destruction.
I feel as we get close to the annual shareholders meeting May 19th we should get some sunshine on any possible distribution or corporate changes.
Happy Sailing!
Lodas, I did good with my weekly options last week and just STO the May 6 $44 put and collected $1.25 on 20 contracts. I like collecting my dividend weekly now.
Ameratrade just sent notice that IDEX plans to release earnings May 2
Earnings look good and after hour trade $47.50
We could see $50 tomorrow
Crazy after hour trading now at $48.65
Book value per share increased to $53.81 and Tangible book value per share increased to $52.01
Hi AZ, my friend. Paris is a fun city but pricy, So to plan and make more you could put a order to Sell a June $50. Covered Call and collect $2.50 per share today. If at the June expiration date COOP is not above $50 you keep your $2.50 premium you collected today.
Then you could still sell a 1000 shares for fun money! In the last 2 weeks I collected more in Option premiums to buy 2 of your fancy corvette's but may wait for 2023 for the Hybrid. Like you - I was also decorated but in Air Force Medal of Honor in 1972.
lodas I did one more for next week
COOP May 06 '22 $42.50 Put
Term: GTC
Price type: Limit at $1.6
Execution price: $1.6
Quantity: 10 = I collected $1600 cash today
lodas yes that 10 contracts was my trade at $42.50 I played with the bidder as I moved my ask up to 1.75 and the guy on bid moved his up to 1.40 which I quickly moved mine back down to his 1.40 bid and got filed.
A $1.40 is a big premium for a in the money strike that expires tomorrow
COOP easy money! Just collected another $1.40 per share on the $42.50 STO PUT. That premium is 100 % mine if tomorrow COOP closes above $42.50 if not my cost basis is $41 if assigned
COOP Apr 29 '22 $42.50 Put
Term: Day
Price type: Limit at $1.4
Execution price: $1.4
Quantity: 10
serafino1, you can find that info about float, outstanding shares and more from this site = https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=COOP
Also, IMO we will never see COOP get remotely close to $33.
We will see COOP spike after shareholders call today, and earnings after hour. COOP is a strong buy IMO.
Happy sailing - you sure do travel a lot and traveling internationally is always a challenge. I also did that international travel but as a pilot that has traveled the world.
lodas, yes with these weekly options it is more fun especially when COOP is more volatile.
My question is did COOP need to apply for these weekly as right now the amount of volume does not justify them. Do they feel their volume is going to greatly increase? One normally sees companies that have weekly options also have vary high volume.
With only about 73 million in outstanding shares - the volume will continue staying low IMO unless a big event is planned?
I was surprised when I got my file of $1.50 on the weekly $42.50 Put
I am amazed at how many keeps asking other question when they can research it themself.
nightdaytrader, the address right now means nothing - you should understand a lot of large companies such as Apple and Microsoft stated in a home.
You also need to understand that at the time Chad Smith was working and setting up these subs and Paladin - They were getting paid by remaining assets of WMI-LT - so would it not be fraud if they set these companies up for their own interest?
Now that Chad Smith and Doreen have wrapping up their Ministerial details. Why did those two reactivate & merged so many old subs of WMI and created PALADIN ACQUISITIONS COMPANY LLC - who will benefit with these changes?
How all this plays out should be interesting???????????
My best guess is Paladin could be a new sub under WMIH-Corp and all other subs that Chad & Doreen worked so hard to reactivate and merge will be subs under PALADIN ACQUISITIONS COMPANY LLC
We may not hear anything about this until the May 19th Annual meeting. IMO I also feel any retained earnings (collected interest) will get distributed through DST & DTC.
Why did they form = PALADIN ACQUISITIONS COMPANY LLC

Hi AZ, I added more today also but did it with this STO PUT
: COOP Apr 29 '22 $42.50 Put
Term: Day
Price type: Limit at $1.5
Execution price: $1.5
Order quantity: 10
Quantity executed: 10
It is the weekly which the expiration date is this Friday. If COOP closes above $42.50 I keep the $1.50 I collected today If the pps closes below $42.50 I will be assigned the stock or could BTC-buy to close but my cost bases would be $41.00
I agree we could hear something big in their after hour earnings and shareholders call. With COOP changing their Option tables to weekly with closer strike prices tells me more volume is coming. I expect a 8k after their earnings and before shareholders call.
TD Ameratrade shows IDEX will post 4th quarter earnings on April 25th next Monday at 8 AM One main reason IDEX is trading low is because they are later in their reporting. Hope this report will help turn things north above $1.
