RE: HERI is HYER.....
HERI stands for HYDRO ENVIRONMENTAL RESOURCES, INC.
HYER, is the OTC symbol
Introduction to HYER
Can you imagine what it will feel like to live on the Earth fifty years from now, if the world's consumption of fossil fuels continues to grow unabated at its present rate?
Did you know that the availability of potable water in many parts of the world, including the developed world, is becoming scarce?
Are you aware of the damage being done to the seas and rivers through the dumping of untreated waste water?
Already in some cities in the world it is unsafe to venture outside without wearing masks.
The World Summit in 1997 called for a 30% reduction in pollution by 2010. How can this be achieved without the development of alternative fuels?
HERI feels it is time to take action to reduce the growth in conventional fuels use, before it is too late.
HERI was established in 1998 to explore ways to improve the global environment through the development of safe and efficient methods to produce alternative energy, waste treatment and clean and potable water.
A Quantum Leap in Technology
Increasing use of fossil fuels, population growth and demands for its mineral wealth are slowly destroying our planet. After years of independent research and development and several million dollars invested, HERI has developed the first commercial alternative energy system to meet man’s growing need for alternative energy systems for the 21st century.
HERI has developed a range of cost effective, environmentally friendly, clean and safe alternative energy systems, never before has the opportunity arisen to make a difference to the way we live and to help nature fight back the excesses of mankind.
Mission
To strive towards providing a cleaner healthier pollution-free world for people to live in, through the development of environmentally friendly alternative energy sources.
Values
We will at all times focus on providing our clients and investors an ever increasing range of new technologies to better the environment.
Our Support
We intend to support all efforts to build a better future for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren, through continued research and development.
Demonstrate Initiative
Making the right decisions, at the right time for the environment, and for the benefit of our valued clients and shareholders.
Create Value
By developing new methods and technologies improving our service to our customers.
Team Work
The Company will use all efforts to promote teamwork within the Company and with others to develop a package of products to make the world a better place in which to live and work.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The device, which is called an ElectroChem Hydrogen Fuel Reactor (ECHFR), is a fuel reactor that produces a clean burning hydrogen gas at low pressure from any source of water. Multiple compounds are added to the water, producing a reaction which occurs between 60 and 300 degrees F. No electrical power source is required although electrical activity takes place within the system and, as stated, the water used can be sea water, bore water, polluted water or rain water.
HERI's system does not use the electrolysis process nor does it work on the conventional thermal/chemical processes, which presently are not economical or proficient.
The reaction that releases the hydrogen gas from any form of water, polluted or otherwise, is achieved by an exothermic process, which creates low amperage electrical activity at a low temperature and low pressure. The compounds required are readily available and are relatively inexpensive throughout the world.
An independent gas analysis was conducted in Brisbane, Australia proving the effectiveness of the ECHFR system, and confirming that the product burns free of smell, fumes or smoke and that the gas produced is 99.4% pure hydrogen.
THE NEED FOR TECHNOLOGY
Scientists all over the World are searching for a breakthrough in producing hydrogen at an economically and feasible cost. Here at last is a technology that realizes that goal.
Hydrogen is the most plentiful element in the World and therefore the most readily available means of fuel and power. It is environmentally friendly and an excellent fuel. As of this date the scientific community has spent years and millions of dollars in the development of equipment (combustion engines) that could be adapted to run on hydrogen. Companies such as BMW, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Mazda and others have been developing fuel tanks that are capable of storing liquid hydrogen and later releasing it into a system to run their engines. So far their success rate has been very low and very expensive.
After years of research and the usual problems that arise with new processes, Hydro Environmental Resources has developed and formula to produce high grade of hydrogen gas at low pressure from a variety of H2O sources.
Research shows that there have been numerous unsuccessful attempts worldwide to develop the technology that we have produced
POTENTIAL USES OF HYDROGEN GAS FROM OUR ECHFR
The Electro Chem Hydrogen Fuel Reactor (ECHFR) is available in all sizes from a portable compact size to a 3,000-gallon system capable of supplying a city of thousands. Additionally the ECHFR can be set up as a parallel system or as one large unit for use on islands, in the outback, or other remote locations to produce pure water and gas for heating, lighting, or cutting and welding equipment.
ECHFR can supply power to all types of engines including existing gasoline powered engines - even diesel engines with modifications. (Its exhaust is free of pollution, releasing water vapor into the atmosphere as a byproduct). As a plus, the residue remaining in the reactors can be partially recycled. The ECHFR is meant to be an alternative source of power and does not compete with hydroelectric power in terms of cost but will compete in terms of environmental effects.
The ECHFR can be adapted to existing system designs as a power source for cleaning up tailing dams. We here at Hydro Environmental Resources have designed a system, which will be much more efficient than existing technology. In addition to cleaning the environment it can recover about 15% of the ore that still resides in the water in the dam. An additional spin off to the ECHFR technology is the ability to purify water. Hydro Environmental Resources has designed an integrated system which can purify polluted water and supply fresh water. These systems can range from small individual sizes to multi gallon systems.
HYDROGEN GAS VERSUS DIESEL FUEL, GASOLINE OR FUEL OIL
The advantage of Hydrogen is that it is almost totally nonpolluting when burnt and is no more explosive than the other fuels such as natural gas, propane or gasoline. In fact it is a good deal safer in many cases since it disperses so rapidly. The 61 Hindenburg survivors would not have lived had the blimp carried natural gas.
There is no limit to the uses to which the ECHFR technology can be applied. Wherever low cost energy is required the ECHFR can be used for domestic or commercial use.
An on-site power plant could be designed for particular needs where electricity and/or gas are needed to process cooking oil. In Malaysian or Philippines areas, where coconut oil and food products are processed, many of the new and emerging agriculture and food producing companies developed in these areas are without the proper energy to be economical. They must rely on mass shipments of petrol, diesel fuel, fuel oil, or gas to enable them to do a day's work.
By comparison, hydrogen is cost effective, pollution free, safe and above all, universally available.
TOXIC WASTEWATER TREATMENT
In the treatment of waste water at abandoned mine sites, waste water dumps or quarries the ECHFR system can be used to develop power to operate the process using the actual waste water that is to be treated. The wastewater or liquor (mining term) is sent through the various separation tanks, which are charged or electrified by power produced from the ECHFR system. Thus a unique method of electroplating removes existing ore. Toxins are also removed and depending on their nature can be used commercially or removed to hazardous waste dumps.
The ECHFR process continues until sufficient ore, toxins and additional waste materials are removed leaving an environmentally sound area. All power required to operate the ECHFR system is supplied by the actual water that is to be treated which is ideal for remote areas where fuel or power is not available. The complete system is self-generating allowing 24 hours per day operation where allowed and with a minimum of skilled staff. There is presently a system, which was designed partly by members of our R & D Team that is operating successfully. Our ECHFR systems are approximately 200 percent more efficient than those that are being used at present. Due to the needs of countries that do not have the privilege of abundant and inexpensive fuel for their everyday needs, nor fresh water for drinking or bathing, and due to the monumental problems we are creating in respect to the damage that we are doing to the environment, Hydro Environmental Resources has, with careful and professional guidance, produced this Market Analysis to reflect current needs for our technology as well as future needs for a clean, environmentally friendly alternate fuel.
With the growing demand and subsequently dwindling supply of fossil fuels, large international companies are beginning to explore the known and unknown areas of alternate fuels. It is a proven fact that the world will begin to run out of oil in the next twenty years. Nearly as devastating and equally important is the fact that while two thirds of the world is covered with water, most is salt water and cannot be used for most industrial purposes. Only 2.5% of the Earth's water is useable for human consumption.
THE FOCUS ON THE ELECTRO CHEM HYDROGEN FUEL REACTOR (ECHFR)
Hydrogen can be prepared in the laboratory by the action of dilute acid on metals, such as zinc, and by the electrolysis of water. Large quantities of the gas are produced industrially using various carbon fuels. Hydrogen is separated from water gas, natural gas and coal gas by liquefaction of the other gas compounds.
In many electrolysis reactions hydrogen is an important byproduct. Enormous quantities of hydrogen are used in the manufacture of ammonia (for soaps), in the synthesis of methanol, the hydrogenation of oils to produce cooking fats and processing coal to form synthetic petroleum.
The lightest in weight of all gases, hydrogen is usually stored in steel cylinders at pressures between 1,000 to 3,000 pounds per square inch.
Our Electro Chem Hydrogen Fuel Reactor is all exclusive of the above processes as its reaction is both electrical and chemical and totally controllable, and has the ability to produce gas as well as heat on an as-needed basis. One of its most attractive features is that the system can be portable and requires no outside power source. The ECHFR is an efficient and user friendly unit to produce an alternative fuel.
THE FOCUS ON INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANSING SYSTEM
Our Company's second product, but no less important, is an Industrial Environmental Cleansing System (IECS). This is a combination of our ECHFR system and a unique and proprietary product developed by the Company to address the worldwide problem of removing toxins from water. The IECS is a sophisticated acid and waste water scrubbing and cleansing process. Returning to a friendly state, waste water areas and abandoned mining sights as well as areas of land that have been used for partial toxic waste and residential and commercial waste dumps, where polluted water is present and causing a health hazard. In the cleansing of mining properties there is a very profitable pay back due to the fact that the IECS system has the ability to recover approximately 15% to 20% more mineral than the original mining process was able to recover. In the case of wastewater dumps the system cleanses as well as produces purified water, electricity and fuel for cooking and numerous additional applications. The IECS is an economical method of cleansing our environment.
At HERI we can make a difference.
