OMG!
I can't believe this board is still active! I haven't been here in probably more than 2 years and I still see the same hopeful string being posted.
What keeps this board alive?
It's been a long time since I logged in to this blog. Amazing that the board is still active and what's more amazing is that the mystery still surrounds Sandy Shylock.
I hope the identity of the man in the red shirt is confirmed to be the one who has prompted all of the interest.
Would love to see this guy thrown in a real jail.
To Sandy's infamous credit - he is a master shyster.
BKMP was squeezed every which way until the last penny was wrung from it.
Voting rights in TFN was never an issue.
The problem was that none of us had voting rights in BKMP and therefore we couldn't control Sandy, who was free to do whatever he pleased with our asset(s).
It's been over for most people for a long time. It is only optimistic (or desperate) people like us who frequent this board in an attempt to keep the fight alive.
Give it up folks, our money is long gone.
Unfortunately, I learned that lesson way too late.
Do you suppose that a person who has no fear of being caught rues his life choices once he is behind bars?
Or do you think they bask in their accomplishments?
I'm thinking that once Sandy is behind bars (I think he will be) he may wish that he would have taken more pointers from the pro fighters. He may learn the true and realistic meaning of "keep your back to the wall".
At least that is my wish . . .
Until a warrant is sworn out for his arrest, Sandy will probably do nothing, except spin off our (and most likely his own also) money.
If I were facing charges like this I would be petrified. Doesn't seem to faze Sandy a bit.
I'm pretty sure that our money is gone. No matter what the CRTC decides or no matter if a judgment is won in favor of the stockholders of TFN, our BKMP investment future rests in the hands of Sandy.
Assuming we still do own the stock (doubtful), I believe that we would have to successfully sue Sandy in order to get control of it and of our money. And, assuming we win a lawsuit, if Sandy didn't respond - which he probably wouldn't do, we would have to sue again and win a judgment to collect.
And then we would have to pay someone to do an asset search to see what is available to attach.
I think we would be standing in a very long line for very little (if any) monetary reward.
Lesson learned . . .
Although the most current filing shows an investment, I don't put much stock in the truthfulness of the filing. We may or may not own any stock in TFN.
Our investment is not and never was in TFN. We invested in BKMP, which had (and possibly still does have) some TFN stock as an asset. The TFN stock was the drawing card for us. The pumpers successfuly hoodwinked many of us into believing that BKMP and TFN were one in the same. TFN was referred to as "our company".
Sandy is BKMP. We put him in charge of our money and in whatever asset(s) BKMP had/has. We have no voting rights. Sandy was/is free to siphon off any funds that he desires and all he had/(has) to do is claim our funds for research in a new investment or make up some other logical reason to deplete the asset.
He can sell the TFN stock to a buddy for twenty bucks if he wants to.
A stroke of a pen would do it.
Dakota, today is the first time I tuned into your new web site regarding BKMP/TFN.
Great site! You put a lot of work into synopsizing the events.
Excellent job!
Kitt,
If you go back and look at the quarterly and annual reports for BKMP there is no mention of an asset named TFN. Look particularly on the balance sheet
All assumptions of our ownership in TFN came from pumping posts.
Yeah, right . . .
They eventually did.
"If Sandy was lying and all the people who called TFN. Myself included. Why didn't TFN say they had nothing to do with BKMP
I agree that Sandy is a thief"
Kitt, actually you and many others on this board don't understand what really happened. I tried to state this several years ago and was banned from this board for doing so.
What we really bought was shares in BKMP. BKMP just happened to have some shares in The Fight Network. That is how Sandy sucked us in. He made it sound like we had ownership in TFN. We didn't. Our ownership right was in BKMP. How he got those TFN shares is not known. I suspect they were given to him by Mike Garrow for services rendered.
In any event, Sandy put those TFN shares into his public company (BKMP) and sold us an "investment", not in TFN, but in BKMP.
Now, Sandy could have/can do any thing he damned well wants to do with his company (BKMP). We don't have voting rights in BKMP and certainly not in TFN. Sandy can sell BKMP, TFN, invest in some other useless paper loss or he can use our money to create a totally different company (ever hear of "Happy Encounters"? Or . . . he can just collect our money and call it "salary". We gave him that right.
No lawsuit is going to change that. We were just . . . gullible.
We trusted Sandy to guard and advance our investment. He didn't do that. We're fekcud.
Forever . . .
Ken Blum. Boy, that name is familiar for some reason . . .
Let's suppose that there is a R/S. Those of us that own beaucoup shares would see our "investment" dwindle to next to nothing.
So, the only way to (possibly) recover would be to reinvest.
Would anyone here do that?
LOL. Here we go again. This could be interesting.
I'm betting it will happen. Egotistical people like Sandy get over-confident and tend to flaunt their mediocre, illegal talent.
It's just a matter of time . . .
Probably, but I doubt that you will see Sandy's name connected with any of his misadventures for quite some time.
The heat is too great . . .
There will be other names. Here is a suggestion:
Awan Afuqya.
I don't know about the size of his smeckle (LOL, never heard that one before), but his ego, from what I have gathered over the last few years is huge.
Cosmo, give it up.
He's had plenty of practice.
Leemalone, very sorry to hear of your loss.
Our six year old Australian Shepard developed epilepsy about a year ago. It's heartbreaking to watch him go through seizures never knowing if someday I will walk in the door and find that he has beaten himself to death or drowned in the pool while having an attack.
Pets become family. In many cases the most loyal and loving member . . .
I have empathy for you. Much empathy.
Doubtful.
I would bet that Sandy has been confronted with and has considered this situation many times in his pinky career.
He is a master who knows the Pinky ropes.
He will be back and many here, now that his methods have been discovered, will probably follow him close to, but not into, the sea . . .
Yes, my bad. It is three million. Didn't proofread.
You are right, Virg. Here is the rest of it.
We own 3,000 shares of non-voting, non-profit sharing, non-participating, non-dividend paying, non-influential stock in TFN that can't be sold.
And it is managed by a person who has demonstrated narcissistic qualities, whom we trusted with our money.
Yep, you are correct. All we own are shares in BKMP, not a controlling interest in the company.
You are correct on another front also. I tried to unveil the structure of our "investment" and explain the apparent dangers of this stock a long time ago when I was naive and thought that pinky stocks were a form of investment.
Unfortunately back then, most of my DD posts - which are now acceptable - were deleted.
My foray into the pink stock market has been short lived, (I "invested most of my funds within a four month period of time) but very expensive. Not saying I will get out.
I've learned that most "pink investors" play the emotional market, not the literal market and the actual value of a stock is not important. What matters is the perceived value and timing. When to get in and when to get out. To hold is ludicrous. Those left holding the bag on this board probably had the same hopes as I did - make millions.
Anyhow, it's a little late, but I'm glad that sensibility finally showed up . . .
Kitt, it doesn't really matter what Sandy received from TFN or in what form. The important aspect was how Sandy managed the asset. We may have owned the company known as BKMP, but we trusted Sandy and gave him the authority to do whatever was right with the TFN stock and also to manage our investment in BKMP.
If he chose to sell off the TFN stock, trade it privately or burn it in the fireplace - that was up to him. As for the money that was received from the sale of the stock in BKMP - it never showed up in the financial statements.
Dakota, this is from the September filing that is on Pink Sheets:
"9. Subsequent Events
The Company has been named in a civil matter with the SEC with regards to activities of the Company 2002- 2005 when it was involved in spinning off all of its subsidiaries companies. The results of the civil matter are unknown at this point in time. The Company has not retained counsel in this matter at the present time.
The Company has become aware of the investment in The Fight Network may have to be written down in the coming months as The Fight Network may be involved in a re-structuring of its business and as a result current shareholders may be diluted and/or their investment may become impaired and realization of it may not be feasible in the future."
So, what do we or will we own, really . . .
Dakota, we never owned TFN. We bought stock in BKMP, which had some TFN stock as an asset.
That TFN stock now appears to be gone as well as our investment.
There never was anything to "run". No employees, no cash, no office, less (reported) FF&E (I wonder where it was located) than I have in my small office.
On reflection, the reported furniture, fixtures and equipment might have been a very expensive duplicating machine.
I think the only "running" that Sandy did was to the bank every time someone bought stock in this POS.
Nah. Casinos revenues are down in this economy. What we need is something happy.
Why, maybe it is time for Happy Encounters to make an entrance . . .
You forgot to add "IMO".
LOL. What goes around, comes around . . .
It also helps if someone with authority on a board touts the stock and deletes information that, although truthful, may harm the PPS.
I know you would never do anything like that, Virg.
BKMP TO DA MOON!
LOL. I'm sure you are kidding.
More shares issued really wouldn't matter to us with the billions of shares of stock now outstanding.
However, If Sandy does own some BKMP stock, he would have had to buy it himself just as we did, because it appears that he put all of his personal stock into BKMP.
If he owns any BKMP stock (I doubt it), that stock is already counted in the float.
LOL. Yes, that is what my siggy says . . .
Because the poor box keeps getting filled.
