Anyone heard of any legal proceedings directed at Malcolm Skolnick from investors for his actions while ceo of CYGX?
Two questions for Lawrence Wunderlich. Would you please explain how STAR Biologics acquired the technology and intellectual property from Cytogenix and what role Lex Cowsert played in the process?
Does Lex Cowsert have any financial interests in STAR Biologics?
Thank you.
For any current info on CYGX I would suggest you contact a majority shareholder. Cy Stein is not involved.
Qualified CEO or Board of Directors suggestions?
It would be a great time for any qualified CEO or Board of Directors
candidates to be posted on this board.
Judging from past performance, majority shareholders could use your help.
Cobra2, Thank you for your post. You stated "For the record all did not jump ship they were asked to resign" which I also heard.
I do not know the reason they were asked to resign. It is interesting to hear you say it did not have anything to do with Plummer.
Also " Just know nobody has thrown in the towel " ; I'd like to think that is the sentiment of majority shareholders.
Merry Christmas! A few thoughts:
Post Malcolm I believe, in general, we have had some well-intended management. I have only heard of one bad apple. Christopher Plummer was bad blood and has no doubt been a set back for both the company and shareholders.
Certainly contact from the FBI and SEC has made the life of CYGX scientists / Board of Directors uncomfortable. Majority shareholders
and potential legal investigations have resulted in the exit of current management.
I hope current share price is an indication that majority shareholders are getting new management in place.
( Just my opinions.)
Christopher Plummer see: http://newhaven.fbi.gov/dojpressrel/pressrel10/nh112910.htm
This is part of the current problems.
It amazes me our illustrious scientists / Board of Directors claimed they were powerless to protect the shareholders under Malcolm. Recently when they were able to take over the leadership of the company, we find that again the Board of Directors have not produced or protected shareholders.
This story gets old. Great minds don't always make great business.
I couldn't be happier that Malcolm and assorted cronies are gone with no further ability to rape and plunder the shareholders. Am I optimistic, no, but I feel the two BOD left might just see promise in CYGX technology and want to try to salvage the mess that Malcolm has left.
I am hoping the culture of thievery left with Malcolm and associates and perhaps we will see a new beginning. Recent developments might just be the best news we have had in a long time.
Out with the bad and in with the good. Let's hope.
Is there anybody left on this board that feels Malcolm EVER intended to earn a profit or bring a product to market?
Truthhurts, Any comments on the CYGX Board of Directors?
Is there any honesty, integrity or oversight on the Board?
I hope you will post any names and addresses (Email etc )for shareholders to contact in the SEC or Texas State Securities Board that you feel may be of help.
Thank you for the insight.
RDOG
bigworld, Are you attending the SHM?
Jimmy Joe, I sent you an email. (6/12/07) Thanks, RDOG
fearfrost, Great photos and nice sign you made.
Please keep us posted on the ground breaking.
I can't wait to see you change the sign that says:
"This is a non-profit company" into a sign that says:
"This is a for profit company."
CYGX turning a profit?
At one time I had hoped Malcolm realized the importance of turning a profit and how it effected share price. But I am now inclined to think he would rather deal with vague, unmeasurable subjects such as intellectual property, discoveries and studies. This work can go on as long as shareholder money last and no goals need ever be met.
CEO's are accountable for profits or the lack there of. As a research based company there is no accountability, no measure of accomplishment and no deadline.
As CYGX earns no profit, we as shareholders are going nowhere.
neo43 nice article on IAUS.OB, not just from an investment angle.
It is always good news to hear of increased efficiencies in the
solar energy field.
nc4s thank you for the suggestion of Kevin Buehler from Alcon.
I hope you will email Malcolm your suggestion and contact Kevin
Buehler also if you can. With all the intelligent shareholders here and what is at stake, namely your money, I can't imagine a more constructive topic than who you might suggest as the new CEO.
If you have someone who is gifted and qualified I certainly hope you will contact Malcolm ASAP.
Sanoman, Thank you for calling Stonebridge Holdings and recounting the conversation. I am tempted to laugh a little but with the share price under a dollar I'm about out of laughs.
Any thoughts? Is this stock dead in the water until the synDNA facility is up and running?
Wow, what a somber apology from thatmr! Perhaps we will have less idle speculation and accusation on this board. On the bright side,
the monitoring of this board by Malcolm and associates might drive home the fact the shareholders of CYGX are highly disappointed.
As I watch stocks such as CYTR triple in the past few months it makes being a long term CYGX shareholder even more painful. Let's hope that 2007 has more possibilities than updates on a manufacturing facility being constructed.
