Oh, yeah! I forgot about that aspect. There are times when the volume is lower that I wouldn't be able to unload all of my shares without effecting the SP in a negative manner
This issue for a lot of retail investors is that it takes generally a day for funds to settle. Unless you have a lot of cash on the side to use to day trade, you run the risk of the SP swinging back up and there’s always the possibility of positive news pre-market which could send the share price up past where you sold it. There’s no way of knowing when we get these kind of $1 intraday swings nor what tomorrow holds. From my research, and I might be wrong, most day traders aren’t as successful as LT strategists who buy the right ticker early and hold long. There are those like georgie who can indeed generate better returns than holding long. Certainly not my cup of Earl Grey!
I just don’t believe it. And even Barry is mentioning it on Twitter and posting a link to that site. That’s strange even he would promote it.
SP at this point is pretty irrelevant to those of us holding LT. I’m more interested in a 3-5 billion market cap accompanied by large Wall Street firms projecting major revenue growth over the next couple of years.
Too funny Max! Did he really say $19.77? If I didn’t know any better, I think he was a magician the way he randomly pulls out of his pirate hat these definitive share price predictions to the penny
Thanks for the cogent, insightful response jefra! And thanks for the additional sleuthing g247. Had no idea Nestle bought them out. No wonder their marketing material is so polished and expensively produced. Deep pockets behind the brand for sure.
Noticed a new brand of CBD at my local Natural Foods store: Garden of Life Dr. Formulated.
https://www.gardenoflife.com/content/cbd/
Interesting how they are advertising big that it’s THC-free. Snazzy, Glossy high-end brochure available to customers in the store. Nice selection of sku’s. Very nice website. Seems like they’ll be a major competitor to CV Sciences much more than CW, IMO, due to how big and already established Garden of Life is.
From their website.
THC FREE
WHOLE HEMP EXTRACT
Garden of Life introduces Dr. Formulated CBD—THC-free whole hemp extracts. Our entire line is Formulated by Dr. David Perlmutter and is 3rd party certified by Labdoor to be THC free. All of our CBD products proudly use hemp grown in the USA, are certified Non-GMO and made using a clean extraction process that is free from solvents and harsh chemicals.
I’ve had my fair share of great gains from trading. Last year was my best at over 300% which made up for all of the poor years that preceded it. Lots of learning along the way and it’s not easy. But Way too stressful for my preferred lifestyle. Oh, and I did not use technical analysis at all. I just looked for patterns without utilizing specific TA strategies. I did use some statistic and probability study to help me understand market dynamics but even that is too much work for my tastes.
I still think, and it is just my opinion, that most TA is noise. That’s just me. Congrats to those who have used it successfully
Most traders and many investors do not understand probability and expectation. Most traders and investors do not understand trading expectation. In other words, they do not understand trading and investing. This is evident from all those chartists pointing to charts with trendlines and indicators without any reference to probability and expectation. Expectation is not the average of investment or trading results but the limit of the average under sufficient samples, which rarely exist in many cases and especially in finance and social science where there are power laws and fat tails. As a result of lack of sufficient samples in most cases, the best you can do is rule out investing and trading schemes at the risk of missed discoveries (Type II error.). PRED has not been a missed discovery for many of us here.
I’m happily holding significant gains in PRED and will peel off my original investment once we uplist. I’ll decide how long to let the rest ride based on ongoing developments.
Good luck to all with whatever strategies you use. It’s not easy making good returns in the market these days.
Just a little perspective - Thanks BearNakey!
What a journey it has been and will continue to be ~

I’m not seeing the McLane connection!
It is not on NASDAQ yet. They have to do a PR first and then usually it takes a couple of days for NASDAQ to get everything in place for it to be listed
It’s not even worth mentioning the supposed naked shorter. Back when the share price was heading toward three dollars, there were a host of pumpers here and on Twitter talking about this ginormous naked short. It’s all a pipe dream. And no matter what anyone says here, there’s no way of knowing what this movie is truly based on. Could just be those that shorted in the multi dollar range have decided to exit and maybe they already accumulated their lawn positions as well. I averaged down to the $.40 range and am now even.
A $2 SP move this week!! $4 to $6 (close enough). I sure didn’t expect this price pre-Nasdaq. Like Brooklyn- pretty happy!
Did the parrot speak today?
Dang!! What just happened? Short covering? At this rate, we could see six dollars before uplist news
Ahh, yes! Much better!
We have pucharsed Vibrant Health products in the past. Green Vibrance has led the way in the green superfoods industry since its launch in 1992. From my research, they have $10-25 million estimated revenue annually; not sure how accurate that is though.
Green Vibrance is the most award-winning green superfood.
Green Vibrance has led the way in the green superfoods industry since its launch in 1992.
Vibrant Health dares not presume that any dietary supplement designed today will remain the best into an endless future. For that reason, every Vibrant Health product is expected to change as new discoveries in science come to light and as new raw materials become available. Vibrant Health products are dynamic by design, always evolving to stay at the forefront of nutritional science. (Gotta love that last part).

For anyone interested in meeting the President and learning a bit about their product and history:
https://vitaminretailer.com/video-expo-west-2017-ted-paige-parker-vibrant-health/
Ted and Paige Parker, president and vice president of Vibrant Health, discussed the company’s history and present some top-selling and brand new products.
Wow, Maz!! Knowing you were there at the big move gives me great confidence that we'll see another similar??!! move in PRED!!?? )
Speaking of multi-dollar moves, one of the charts that I'd like to see PRED replicate is AMRN (Amarin Corp.),
It went from $3 to $12 last September. And then it went to $22 by November. Not suggesting PRED could move that much, just foreseeing (with uplist AND additional positive news) a significant SP appreciation into the teens sometime by EOY.
BTW, I wasn't in AMRN at the time of that one day move, but did ride it from $14 to $20 and have traded it actively since then. Some really excellent trading opps since that high to low 20s.
I haven’t read the Fins yet. Is the flow of 4.88 million on IHub correct?
PRED should be getting approval in next few days. Then a 3-5 days to process. Exciting times!
This is a rather lengthy post. Please stay with me as I think the following is quite relevant to countering all the talk about share price. Others have already addressed the importance of not paying attention to the SP. Yeah, for those that bought at $5 or $6 or more, our current SP certainly tests your resolve. Think Warren Buffet here. If you don’t know what I’m referring to, read up on his investment philosophy.
Okay, so the CBD sector “seems” to be a crowded, saturated market place.
As an investor just beginning to explore the sector, you might think the field is wide open for hordes of competitors.
But because of the existing competition, new or existing, companies will still need to find a way of defining themselves and injecting something new, such as superior value or higher quality into their marketing plan. But IMO, all they are really able to do is create innovative, catchy marketing slogans, snazzy websites, or catchy taglines.
Consumers are always looking for what’s new in the cosmetics, health and wellness industry. For example, I’d venture to say the average woman carries many brands in her purse, and there is no hyper-loyalty preventing her from possibly trying another brand.
Do you think consumers will stock more than one brand of CBD on their kitchen shelves? Unlikely! So what will be the catalyst for the consumer to not only chose one brand, but stay loyal to that brand???
I’m sure the Longs on here already know the answer to that question in terms of CV Sciences' products. Let me just say this: we are THE most visible brand in the media, we have had years of Gorilla Marketing creating our brand (thank you Stuart Tomc and team) as well as establishing customer loyalty.
In any competitive marketplace, the thing a company must avoid at all costs is becoming a commodity -- a random, faceless provider who will suffice if the price is low enough. If there’s no customer loyalty, a company is always at risk of being undercut. But even in mature industries, there are ways to differentiate your product or service (Tomc et al.).
What keeps our customers coming back? The question to that answer holds clues to help you determine our unique advantages.
Do you not think CV Sciences knows everything there is to know about their competition?
Do you not think they are way ahead of their competition given they were one of the very first to enter the CBD market?
Do you not think that Tomc, et al. has been planning for every eventuality (including this meeting with the FDA and their responses to the FDA request for input from the industry)?
Do you not think our company is currently readying a number of new sku’s for the marketplace?
Do you not think our company is not examining our competitors’ websites, press releases, case studies, articles, and other promotional presentations to identify how they are positioning themselves?
Here’s an example of using knowledge of a competitor to your advantage: Dave, an insurance agent, carried a line of auto insurance for teens. He advertised a good discount on auto insurance for new drivers who got good grades in school. Unfortunately, all his competitors offer the same good-student discount. So parents often asked him why they should have their teen insured with him rather than other agents in town.
Dave would write his home phone number on the back of his business card, hand it to a prospective customer, and say, “Your child may be out one night, have something to drink, and be unable to drive. Give him this card with my home phone number on it. He can call me any time of the day or night. If he should not be driving, I will pick him up and drive him home safely.” No other agents in the area were willing to go this extra mile, giving Dave a unique selling offer he could use to close more sales.
What does Tomc et al. do in every presentation (video or in-store)? Essentially, the same thing. He and his team provide strong educational resources via their trainings at 100s of retail outlets throughout the country. Not sure if anyone here remembers, but I spent considerable time awhile back meeting with over ten natural food store managers interviewing them about their relationship to CV Sciences. All of them new of Stuart Tomc. All of them had positive ongoing interaction via email with CV Sciences sales/marketing team.
As an investor in this company, you should know that you are investing in team experience and relevant business area strengths, not just a burgeoning, trending sector. We already have prior successes and recognized expertise!! This is a tremendous competitive advantage that is often overlooked. Equally important are our relationships with our key supplier, the Hemp Roundtable and our new growing customer base. Remember: our company is smart enough to maintain high quality, invest in management that has expertise across multiple fields.
Every business likes to claim it provides great customer service. But think about the best customer service you’ve ever received. I regularly go to a local independent coffee shop; they know my preferred order and start making it the moment I walk in the door. It’s a form of recognition and service that I appreciate it as a customer, and it keeps me coming back. It’s my opinion, in their own unique way, CV Sciences does this with their retail customers.
Superior customer experience is one important facet to a successful growing business. If customer service is about executing the basics, well, customer experience is about raising the bar and providing meaningful flourishes that others do not. One thing you’ll always encounter with CV Sciences is GOOD WILL. Their guarantees are exceptional.
Superior quality
There are quite a few coffee shops within a two mile radius of my home, but I choose the same one regularly because I’m convinced they’re the best. (Incidentally, that means that within reason – even up to a 30 percent or so premium – I’m willing to pay more for it.) How does CV Sciences drive their reputation as being a quality provider of CBD? They have ironclad guarantees. They have amazing sales training. They have some of the best quality and that’s a powerful reason for their business success.
Okay, just a little rambling for the evening. Cheers to all those who don't pay attention to the daily sp fluctuations.
I’ve only listen to about 20 of the presentations, So I am limited in making any broad generalization. But I do have to say that of those I listened to, McKay was by far the most articulate, clearly objective, and seemed to speak FDA lingo. His answers were precise and articulate as well. Some of those presentations provided to much subjectivity (like: “our customers reported an incredulous sense of well-being after taking our product”). Jeez! Really? What a joke. Obviously those individuals didn’t take into consideration they were speaking to the FDA. That’s certainly not what the FDA wants to hear IMO
Video of US Hemp Rountable General Councel, Johnathan Miller, testimony today at the FDA Hearing:

Kapish indeed May! I certainly didn't expect an historical perspective as well, but it tied nicely into your answer and speculation.
Forgoing the time/money/trouble with NHP-07 would be icing on the cake for sure. But not necessary. Just means a longer wait.
Just to be clear, they do not now qualify as a drug, yes? Didn't quite get complete clarity in your statement.
Thanks brooklyn. That was my assumption, but I just want confirmation
Maz: in the recent PR “PREDICTIVE BIOTECH SIGNS LETTER OF INTENT WITH IQVIA TO BEGIN CLINCIAL TRIAL FOR OSTEOARTHRITIS OF THE KNEE” it’s stated that:
“The Company will work with the FDA to determine if the FDA will accept the current safety data from over 75,000 patients previously treated with CoreCyte”
If the FDA accepts the current safety data, how does that translate into the IND application and subsequent clinical trial for osteoarthritis of the knee? How would that expedite the trial?
Talk to your local retailers selling CV Science’s products. Make sure the staff (all of them) are aware of our GRAS certification being the ONLY CBD product on the market. Some will know because CVSI has educated them. Others, like the staff at my local Sprouts were unaware. Whether they know or not, it’s a good to support the sales of our brand by encouraging them to educate their customers about GRAS cert
Too funny Mike! Love the levity!
First I’ve heard of these balls.
Obviously I’m not tracking our new ballsy skus
318 stores Nationwide. 114 in California
Hallelujah! Sprouts in Walnut Creek, CA just started carrying CBD salves, balls, creams. How many markets are there nationwide? This means we’re getting into all of them. The various brands they carry are: Shikai, Kuuba, charlottes web, sagely, and CV Sciences.
That’s what I thought. I was just wondering what the plaintiff’s are referring to as they’re going to great lengths to try to make a case where, by all indications, there is none. I just don’t get how they actually think they not only might they win this case but that they have a case at all.
Agreed Maz: This is a typical low volume Bear raid. Super easy to accomplish. Probably some dumb retail panic selling their few thousand shares into the flush.
And you are absolutely right. Between myself and a number of others I know we have over 200k shares.
stockboy: Ha! The two items I was about to post were both posted by you and Maz. That P value is key.
Awesome man!!
Mazeppa:
I was just about to post this re: HFI when I see you beat me to it. I don't read this as if there are issues, although I could be wrong. I just see it as part of the continued research to fully establish statistical significance.
I'm in another company that's been waiting for NASDAQ uplist for nine months. They still haven't denied them. Company hasn't given any indication as to why the delay. So I don't think PRED will be any different. We find out when it's PR'd.
Yep, solid growth,. Happy with that.
Investigating the relationship between Omega 3 and CBD. Still curious if there's a relationship between New Harvest, Dupont and the possibility of a new product that combines CBD with Omega 3 & 6 which I believe would be one-of-a-kind and have the potential for massive sales. IMO, this product will exist in time. Follow my thought process here.
A couple of references to the discussion that started in February with Sleuth speculation about a possible relationship to DuPont

Could CBD Oil work better with Omega 3?
We know that CBD oil effects cell metabolism through the endocannabinoid system. And we know this system is involved in a wide range of physiological functions, including the regulation of our mood, inflammation response, immune system, and metabolism.
We know that CBD mimicks the body’s endocannabinoids - they “unlock” the receptors CB1 and CB2, creating a variety of effects.
Now how are Omega-3s connected to the Endocannabinoid System?
Endocannabinoids are lipids made from the cells’ omega-3 and omega-6 content. Once cells build up a sufficient inventory of these fatty acids, endocannabinoids are created rapidly and as-needed in response to brain activity and stimuli (like stress and exercise).
Omega-3s are directly involved in the synthesis of endocannabinoids, and also react with existing endocannabinoids to create omega-3-derived endocannabinoid epoxides (which have powerful anti-inflammatory properties). Due to the important role that omega-3s have in the cell membrane, researchers believe that omega-3s also serve as crucial anchors for endocannabinoid cell membrane receptors.
To put it simply, omega-3s and endocannabinoids are totally dependent on each other in a healthy brain and body. And this connection explains why the anxiety and pain relieving effects from taking CBD oil are similar to the results achieved from receiving adequate omega-3 supplementation over time.
As a side note, Omega- 3 deficiency is a widespread problem impacting some 95% of adults in the United States. Research as shown that his deficiency has serious consequences for the healthy functioning of our endocannabinoid systems.
And omega 3-deficient diets don’t just limit the creation of beneficial endocannabinoids and the omega-3-derived endocannabinoid epoxides. Studies have also shown that omega-3-deficiency creates dysfunctional endocannabinoid receptors, uncoupling them from the protein and altering signaling pathways in the brain
Another side note: the overall ratio of Omega 3 of 6 to 3 in tissue is 11:1 in plasma 15:1 yet they recommend a ratio of 3:1??? True the western diet is like 20:1 but the truth is that omega 6 is mostly processed oils which is non functional. A healthy diet of omega 6 consists of nuts and seeds as well as meat eggs and cheese.
So there's deep involvement of omega 3s in the endocannabinoid system and when compared to most omega 3 supplements, CBD has clear advantages. The effects appear quickly, where omega 3s take longer to work – often many weeks of consistent consumption. These rapid effects probably explain why CBD has created such a buzz. With CBD products, people are also willing to take an adequate dose, but that often isn’t the case with omega 3 products.
CBD, however, does not solve the underlying omega-3 deficiency problem.
Most physiologists and biologists know that single molecules are rarely a cure-all for complex health issues. Unfortunately, this point often gets missed when we get too focused on isolated substances — either because of the pharmaceutical and health industry’s desire for patentable products or the appeal of easily understandable buzzwords. The human body and cell metabolism are extremely complex and dependent upon the interactions of a multitude of factors (e.g. genes, environment, nutrition, microbiome, age, gender, etc). Therefore, it’s highly unlikely that changing just one factor will solve chronic conditions for most people.
There isn’t a single substance – whether that’s CBD or even omega 3s that will ever give us a one-way ticket to good health. But when we understand the underlying mechanisms of the body and employ a synergy of wholesome efforts, we’ll be able to carve a better path forward.
That being said, until CV Sciences comes out with their new Omega 3 Pro+CBD Oil product labeled on New Harvest, start combining your Omega 3 with your CBD oil.
My next post will explore the synergistic effects of taking CBD with Omega 3, Melatonin and D3. Now that combination provides a synergy of beneficial effects.
