...I believe you're missing my point...
...it appears you have "invested" in a COMPANY which you believe will soon turn a profit, while continuing to grow revenues...
...that's usually a VERY good reason for "investing" in a COMPANY...
...these "FLD'S" are not "investments" as the term is commonly used...
...these are MUCH riskier, I believe, and as such, one SHOULD have exit strategies both at the top AND the bottom...ESPECIALLY the bottom...
...of course, no matter how much faith you have in the company, you should have similar exit strategies...no?...Duke...
...bad example, beaz...
...THAT stock ran to $0.13 and then back to $.05 off of a MONSTROUS movefrom $0.0007!!!...
...so even at $0.05 you have a bazillion percent move...
...PNTV initiated @ $0.41 and never went higher...
...now, of course, much LOWER...Duke...
...great opportunity to "load up" here @ $0.0056...
...mangoman...I just hope you didn't go for those $0.009'ers earlier...Duke...
...WHO is it that's having difficulty with the heat...
...in the kitchen?...
...if you take an objective look, you'll see that all of the current "FLD'S" have been cut in half and then some over the past few months...
...as I've posted elsewhere, you HAVE to have an exit strategy on the downside as well as the upside...
...it's wonderful to be aiming for "dollars", but an investor / trader / player should NEVER allow one single play to destroy his portfolio...
...but, in all honesty, this one never got "off the ground", at least the others had success...Duke...
...downtrend continuing...
...anyone have the courage and / or temerity to admit that they've sold / or are considering doing so?...Duke...
...nah, MICKEY...sorry to disappoint you...
...looks as if I have approximately 1,100 posts...
...I COULD be wrong, but I believe if you spend about 10 minutes of your time you would discover that they all contain an ellipsis / ellipses...
...keep up the good work here, though...Duke...
...serious question with regard to an "FLD"...
...is there a set criteria for "cancelling" "the team's" involvement in one?...
...in other words, clearly here we have an FLD that has declined in both price and volume decidedly since its pick...
...is there a point where this play becomes too risky and is exited?...
...it's obvious that this selection system has had tremendous success over the past few years...
...does anyone ever recall a pick being exited before the "squeeze"?...
...would appreciate a mature answer...thanks...Duke...
...currently @ $0.185 (-$0.03/ -13.95%)...
...I thought you guys were serious about buying...
...and "locking down" the float?...
...you've got more POSTERS here than shares traded today...
...unless, I'm guessing, most of you believe this puppy is headed lower...Duke...
...ohio (bb17)...I peruse your "Rheingold" posts...
...and it slowly dawns on me that "Rheingold" is "Drinks'" new savior...
...and THEN I remember that Rheingold Beer, which never sold well nationally OR regionally for that matter, has not been regarded as a popular brand since the early to mid-'60's...
...so "Trump Vodka" doesn't work...
..."Kid Rock Beer" apparently will not work...
...and "Dr. Dre", as we all know, refuses to work...
...so we are left with Rheingold, which I remember drinking once in the mid-'70's...it was, shall I say, one of the top 5 worst tasting beers that have ever consumed...it was probably an acquired taste, but I wasn't prepared to to assassinate my taste buds as I "learned" to appreciate it...
...there is little doubt in my mind that "Rheingold" will be unsuccessful...
...FAR too many offerings out there...
...unless this becomes a "niche" product...
...and probably the best way FOR it to become "niche" is by introducing it to all the NYC metro area retiree and nursing homes so that the remaining WWII and Korean Conflict vets can relive their glory days while getting sloshed on their once favorite brew...
...hey, what does Drinks' have to lose?...Duke...
...please excuse me for a moment...
...I have to return to the living room to watch the paint dry...
...good morning, k9guy...Duke...
...was not aware that this "FLD" was...
...called at $0.0007...
...but, astonishingly, I must ask :
...why would ANYONE be holding this stock if it reached $0.72 in April?...
...that makes absolutely no sense...
...a "quadrillion bagger" which you allowed to be cut in half?...
...and I'll cc that question to "monk" who is here today...
...who advised you to do that?...Duke...
...LoneGrey...how're we doing...
...today?...
...still wondering how you guys are going to "lock down" the float while trading 25k or so a day, while the pps is moving steadily lower...
...is it possible that April 1st wasn't THE day to get out?...
...your opinion appreciated...Duke...
...LoneGrey...thanks for the mature response...
...your post details a lot of "ups and downs" with this stock, but I admire your candor...it is refreshing...
...it'd be much easier to say (as many on these boards do) that you "bought at $0.09 and sold @ $0.715"...
...in some ways I admire your fortitude and patience, but another portion of me asks why you don't more often "trade" this stock, as these volatile "pennies" often offer unique opportunities to buy and sell at levels favorable to you...
...obviously you were involved with CDIV long before it became an "FLD"...
...being a long-term holder, have you noticed much of a difference between the trading activity at the time it was designated as such, and during other periods, such as now, when it appears that the "FLD" run is over?...Duke...
...do any of you "regulars" here...
...have an exit strategy?...or are you awaiting word from "monk"?...
...surely none of you have been holding since the April 1 high of $0.72?...
...that would be a loss of more than 50%...
...mature, well thought-out responses appreciated...Duke...
...$0.19 again...
...I believe this is a bad sign...
...anybody thinking of selling?...Duke...
...another tough session, Players...
...looked as if we might have a run the last 15 minutes or so, but I guess it was not meant to be...
...special thanks to "3respalm" for being my assigned valet today...
...I guess it's important to designate one of the regulars here to keep a close eye on an identified "basher" and not to allow him too much "wiggle room"...
...oh, well!...we'll get 'em tomorrow, eh, tyrone?..,Duke...
...looks as if we'll need...
...that paint brush again today...
...that'll be three sessions in a row!...
...I wonder if anybody in Pittsburgh is selling today?...Duke...
...who is in charge of...
...the "sell" signal around here?...
...I see lots of posters buying, yet lots and lots of selling on my LII...
...obviously SOMEONE put out "the word"...
...anyone get the memo?...Duke...
...p.s. I'm not "worried" either...
...hey, "telljeff", how are you?...do you think that PNTV...
...has a similar potential of, say a "DKAM"?...
...how did you make out with that one?...
...I haven't seen you there much recently...Duke...
...so, Beazy...you're telling me and anyone watching...
...to "accumulate" this stock, which is now down 50% from its high of $0.405 less than three weeks ago?...
...what type of sober advice can you afford to me or others to convince us that this is an intelligent investment, other than the fact that it is something that you are currently invested in at a much higher price and which you are "hoping" will go higher soon?...
...makes no difference that today is Friday, my friend...this stock was $0.29 on Monday, a mere four days ago... at $0.20, you are currently -31% in less than a week...
...talk to me, bro...Duke...
...don't be a "Negative Nancy"...
...these things take time...a little "resettling", a formed base...then...TAKEOFF!!!...
...I've watched Walker on several boards...the man KNOWS of what he speaks...
...besides, if this one doesn't come to fruition, I'm almost certain that the next one will...
...Good luck Players...Duke...
...Ri-dog and W...as usual you guys were "on the money"...
...you both knew that this puppy would pop sooner or later...
...maybe Kid Rock came out of his drunken stuper and realized that noone could pull off Badass Beer better than Drinks'...
...perhaps it leaked out that Dr. Dre is about to release the new CD TOMORROW, and that it includes eight tracks dedicated to DKAM's products!...
...MAN, does it get any better than THAT for us shareholders?...
...in closing, you guys stay on top of that precious DD...
...and W...please update us on the bid/ask every three months, or whenever DKAM has an uptick...whichever comes first...Duke...
...p.s. how's things over at PNTV?...I haven't had a chance to check in...the bride's coming home from a business trip to Atlanta, and the house is a mess! Priorities, priorities!...
...another disappointing day, Players...
...could have been worse, I guess...
...a decided majority of shares traded today below yesterday's devastating close, but $600.00 gave us a black day...
...although a late trade logged at 1603 put us back on the minus side...
...less than one-half of the 10-day average volume indicating waning buying interest...
...it's alot more difficult keeping people excited when a volatile stock goes volatile in the wrong direction...
...I wonder who is selling?...
...maybe those who enjoyed the runup to $0.41...that would be MY guess...
...show me a penny that runs to $0.41 from $0.13 in two weeks, and I'm a seller too!...
...not usually a good idea to leave a questionable penny three-bagger on the table...eh?...
...anyway, that's the way I see it...
...still looking forward to the next pick...
...I'm betting it'll be a winner!...Duke...
...alot of fussing and sniping here today...
...that's what's likely to happen when you get whacked in the neighborhood of 18% in one trading session....
...this leaves us 44% off of the $0.405 high of June 7...a day which is more and more looking like one gigantic headfake...
...not a good sign when posters are taking their collective focus off of their objective and begin "sparring" with others who possess a diametric viewpoint...
...only leads one to believe that these folks are not confident with their "investment" and / or decision(s)...seen it a hundred times before...usually with "pennies"...
...when "others" post opinion / information that is not received as germane or beneficial to the dominant discussion, they are generally politely ignored, unless their opinion or facts "strike a chord" with those who actually dislike or fear what is being written by the poster(s)...no one takes the time to debate someone who has nothing TO debate...
...of course, no one wants some "johnny-come-lately" to suddenly appear and sow seeds of doubt in his mind...might make him rethink his position and goal(s)...wouldn't THAT be criminal...
...in addition, the appearance of the call for others to employ the "ignore" feature also appears to demonstrate a lack of assurance...this feature is absolutely the most useless feature on these MB's....what are you afraid of?...someone's opinion???...afraid that the other guy might have a keener insight into your current situation?...afraid you might actually LEARN something from someone who doesn't march lockstep with the crowd?...NEVER put ANY other poster on ignore, unless he's harassing or stalking you...keep your mind open to varying opinions...and weigh them carefully...solid DD should ALWAYS include looking at a scenario from all available viewpoints...
...I see trouble brewing here...I'll know it's "for real" when I see longs turning on each other...that's generally a sign that bad times are straight ahead...
...might be just around the corner...
...then again, might NOT be...
...here's hoping you're laughing at this post a month from now...Duke...
...all MHO...
...rough day, Players...
...anybody ready to throw in the towel yet?...Duke...
...hit me up also, griff...prosze...
...are you saying that they are from 2009?...
...Thanks in advance...Duke...
...visited "Bottle King" in Hillsdale, N.J. today (near the Rockland County border)...
...they've got 15 or so locations in Jersey, many of them within striking distance of NYC...
...it was the first AND ONLY store in which I ever found Trump Vodka for sale (approximately two years ago)...(the only other place I ever saw TV was in a "client's" bedroom amongst 10 lbs of dope)...it is the ONLY liquor / package store of more than 100 that I checked in the NYC metro area since 2007 that I located TV...
...my purchase left one standing...the proprietor at the time said it initially sold well, but faded quickly...
...today none was in stock...but the cashier plugged the name in the computer and told me that TV WAS available @ $29.99 / 750 ml...a might pricey in my eyes...
...I also inquired about Olifant, which I have observed for sale in multiple locations in the metro area, but was told that they are not carrying it and have none to be procured from their stock...
...it's not a good idea to be HQ'd in Connecticut and to not have your brands available "locally"...as always, just my opinion...
...Duke...
...Lee, how are you doing, friend?...
...you are certainly one of the few class acts here...Duke...
...Good luck to you, Billy, as well...
...you seem like a decent guy...
...at least you got to delete one more of my posts before you stepped down...
...as you like to say : "Cheers"!...Duke...
...I am!...REALLY!!!...
...in fact I made a "small purchase" yesterday, if for no other reason than a trade...
...wish I'd done it Friday, but the stock looked "sick"...
...I thought the recent news and CC were very bullish for the stock...at least short term...time will tell...
...still holding a bunch under $0.09, tho...
...now I'm already up 10%ish on yesterday's...
...GLTY to us all...Duke...
...I would try "seekingalpha.com"...
...I often see transcripts of other companies from them listed in Yahoo business under the reporting company's "Summary / Headlines"...
...you may need to purchase a subscription, tho...if I recollect...Duke...
...is DKAM FINALLY poised...
...to make its run?...Duke...
...well wasn't THAT a titanic waste of time...
...IMO, natch!...Duke...
...certainly does!...
...only off a mere 51% since the beginning of Wednesday's CC...
...what more could you ask for???...
...a SOLID NR...
...a SOLID CC...
...a SOLID letter to S/H's...
...and a SOLID and DRAMATIC 51% decline!!!...
...something is wrong with this stock, gents...
...ashame you can't see it...Duke...
...G-HURTER...my, you are simply precious...
...this stock is falling because :<<...BUT I'M SURE IT DOESN'T HELP WITH ALL THE NEGATIVITY ON THE BOARD. ~50% OF US AREN'T SELLING. WE HOLD AND ACCUMULATE. THE OTHER 50% ARE EITHER FLIPPERS OR WANNA BE LONGS WHO GET TOO NERVOUS AND SELL THEIR SHARES WHEN NEGATIVE POSTS ARE APLENTY>>...
...find me an MB with no "negative posts"...PUHLEEEEEEEEZE!!!...
...ANY poster, whether long, short or neutral has EVERY right to post negatively about ANY company as long as the info is not lies, slander, etc which are designed to bring him advantage / benefit...
...show me where someone here has done so within, say the past two months...you won't be able to...
...I believe that recent news surrounding the company has been more than S/H's could hope for...
...please place some blame on those who post : "$0.10 tomorrow, for sure"..."buyout for $6.00 by year's end", etal...you know who I'm talking about, bra...no?...
...those posters create FAR more damage than some alleged "basher's" opinion...
...just as the newbies are crying : "damn bashers"!...
...LMAOLYWB...Duke...
..."waiting" is all you've DONE...
...the past three years, Ohio...
...Olifant will be the dominant product, IMO, as "peeps" are downshifting to less expensive brands...I've heard that it is a good product...
...don't see much of an impact from Rheingold, tho, so don't get your hopes up...the brand basically passed away 30 or more years ago...
...the other four "waits" are a joke, IMO...Duke...
...still difficult not to laugh at some here...
...who said earlier today, or was it yesterday? (paraphrased) : "So what if we're down x%? We're up over 100% the past week". ...
...Oh, my!!!...
...this stock ran in anticipation of VERY good news, a rousing CC and, please don't tell me otherwise, news that Kid Rock Beer was going to be "The Official Beer of the United States of America"!!!...
...from what I've witnessed, the Mexcor NR was better than expected news, and the CC, from the portion that I heard, along with what I've gleaned from posts here, was actually very positive AND somewhat "professional"...
...but I will say it AGAIN : those who come here to post about wildly speculative "rumors" / "half-truths" and insane projections do damage to this stock...MUCH more than alleged "bashers"...
...now HOW much, I can only guess...but the activity and appearances of new posters here at IHOP tell me that ALOT of newbies jumped in recently...
...I would bet that most were scared away since $0.0339 just before yesterday's CC...
...YEAH...SURE!!!...we're up 100% since the bottom...
...but now we're down 41% a mere 11 1/2 trading hours since the CC began...
...I'd emphatically state that "the glass is currently half empty"...Duke...
...a coupla things appear obvious...
...in light of the selloff following the CC...
...first and foremost, I did not listen to the entire CC...only the first 15 minutes or so...
...I felt that there was alot of positive news in those 15...
...however, the first question about Kid Rock Beer was answered as if PK was rushing to the bathroom with gas pains...clearly he wanted to avoid the obvious questions that we all have re : KR Beer...
...Kid Rock...Drinks' most visible and viable (IMO) commodity...forget Trump...my belief is that his popularity and influence has long since peaked...KR's "deal" seems to be in some sort of limbo right now...
...fgrimes responded to me yesterday : <<da plans on getting royalties from american badass beer and nothing more>>
...I'm not so sure this is what we expected since we learned that Kid was "aboard"...
...it should be clear to us here that KR has not fully invested his time, effort or $$$ into this venture...in fact, I might say he has done basically ZERO!!!...
...noone seems to be able to locate much KR Beer ANYWHERE, even in Michigan...something's gone bad with KR Beer (IMO)...why don't they let us know what exactly it is...
...that alone, I believe leads people to selloff...
...second, you have Dr. Dre...the man has been an absolute NADA!!!...plenty of time for other ventures...but NO time for his "nine years in the making" CD or his Drinks' commitment...
...add to these two "non-factors" a recently volatile stock and you get a selloff at the hint of people bailing on their trades...alot of the recent volume, I believe, is from these traders...
...I believe that the Mexcor deal is a positive step toward legitimacy and, dare I say it?...profability...
...but it won't be next week, next month or probably even next year...
...those that are here for the long term SHOULD, I believe, be rewarded over time...
...but it's painfully obvious to me that yesterday's CC did little to entice new money into the company...Duke...
...Lee, as with kezzek, I look forward to your posts...
...just as kezz dissects and "translates" information better than anyone here, you doggedly continue to insist on "holding Drinks' feet to the fire"...
...there is NO question that there appears to be some sort of "stalemate", disagreement or lack of interest with this project from The Kid that leaves us where we are today...
...PK SHOULD be more honest with us, IMO...
...if things are not working out, let us know...
...the Mexcor deal looks VERY promising with their existing brands and possibility of future brands...
...it's apparent to me that today's selloff was in reaction to the lack of transparency with regard to the Kid Rock and Dr. Dre deals...
...I think this could spell short-term pressure on the share price...Duke...
...Drinks needs to begin partnering with "icons"...
...who respect the company...
...not very difficult reading between the lines of today's CC...
...simply stated, Dr. Dre and Kid Rock have VERY little interest in their respective "partnerships" with Drinks'...
...as Dre was "mourning" his son's death, he somehow managed to put a ton of time and energy into his "Beats" headphones...plus other assorted ventures...
...the Kid obviously has reined in his affiliation with the company also, IMO...what other excuse could there be for the lack of progress with KR Beer?...
..."icons" and other assorted Hollywood-style freaks tend to be extremely finicky with their obligations and associations, IMO...
...Drinks' needs to set down some strict guidelines from the get-go when forming these associations...otherwise, the company will continue to suffer with respect to its credibility...
...all my humble opinion...Duke...
