Yet, there is still the fanboy who speaks from a place of delusion.
Unfortunately, I no longer have the luxury of being a long-term investor. At this point, I need to be cautious when speculating or just look to conservervative alternatives in order to preserve my portfolio. I look at OGI as a lottery ticket. The only reason I would buy now is to get a lower pps in order to break even...or at least come close for a minimal loss.
I've given this stock 4 years in hopes it would show steady improvement. This is fools gold and only good for speculating. I made out well and cashed in when it was near an all-time high a few years ago, but I'm at the stage that I do not have more time to give; its time to move on. I just need it to hit $1.25 to break even this go-around, then I'm gone. This company needs to be bought out or many of you will wind up experiencing that old saying: "A fool and his money are soon parted." Good luck.
Shocking!
Yup...wonderful news today as it's hit a 52-week low.
Yup, this stock continues to go in the wrong direction...a "new" 52-week low:

Agree. OGI continues to disappoint. I just need this to double its current eps to break even and then I'm out of here. I've hung in there for years and have been playing on house money in hopes of another run. Perhaps, given more time there will be, but for me, it's time to move on.
Yeah. I lucked out the first time around when it reached its highest PPS of $7.85. I sold 2/3s of my holdings, very close to that price, and made out well. I reinvested when it dropped significantly, but since then, I'm in the hole, but all I need is an eventual run to $1.27 USD, and I'm back on profits. I want to believe it will make another run again, and if it gets back to that minimum, my big decision will be how long I'm willing to hold on until I dump this stock for good. If it runs up a few dollars, I stand to do well again, and it will serve its purpose...but I'm good with breaking even and moving on. It's sad this has turned into a penny stock!
I agree with you, mike1986. I've been with OGI for years, and it's frustrating. It also gets old hearing the same ole rah-rah speech from the fanboys when this stock continues to stay in a downward spiral. Fortunately, I'm playing with house money and sold a bunch when it was nearly at its all-time high. I'm just hoping for one last little run now to break even and then I'm dumping it. I've given them their chance to show sustainable and upward PPS over a few years now, but if anything, it has been the opposite for quite some time now. Good luck.
This gets any cheaper, you won't have to spend a penny for any of it and be able to buy an infinite amount LOL
...you can rave about this all you want, but the proof is in the results...which stink. So, you can keep posting all and everything that is sunshine, but until we see our bank accounts go north, your posts are meaningless.
Yawn...the time to get excited or optimistic is when the pps sustains any upward mobility. Getting back to its all-time PPS of $7.70USD, would be a great start, or a buy-out, which I believe is the likely scenario.
Meh...
An interesting article...hope it comes to fruition...

Ongoing profitability a question mark at Organigram
CIBC analyst John Zamparo doesn't see Organigram Holdings (NASDAQ:OGI) returning to positive EBIDTA soon, leading him to cut shares to underperformer and reducing his price target to C$3.25 from C$5.
He says the COVID-19 pandemic will continue to impact its domestic market share while also impacting higher-margin international sales.
Zamparo adds that gross margins will remained depressed through the rest of fiscal 2021 and won't surpass 20% until Q1 fiscal 2022.

I suppose if it drops even lower, then maybe it's worth the risk to buy again...not sure though. While I'm playing on OGI house money, how many times do you risk it before moving on? Good point mte1955.
Man...this thing is taking another bath. It will be interesting tomorrow.
Agree. Good news is relative if the stock doesn't trend upward, and at the very least, approach or set all-time highs.
I lucked out this time...was able to average down and then sold to finally recoup my original investment and then some...but it took well over a year for that to happen. I bought too high, thinking it was going to take off, sadly, this just seems to tease every once in a while. I am hopeful this takes off for good, but now that I'm playing on house money, I can be more patient. I'm not in it for the long haul, I'm ready for this to take off so that I can reap the rewards and move on. I just cannot get excited when it starts an insignificant rally, only to lose steam quickly...especially when it is way down from it's all-time high. Start a trend of all-time highs and then maybe that will be something for us to write home about.
We may be waiting a bit for that...seeing as its current all-time high is only ~$7.47 USD.
Agree...it's about making money. I'm definitely not a long-haul type at this point in my life.
You're spot on wrt "...not negativity to be bummed..." but you'll find fan boys on this site who refuse to acknowledge anything negative. Not sure what the future for this one holds, but those who believe a federal legalization will be the end all and catalyst for making this stock skyrocket, may be sadly mistaken. Not sure if that makes them "pumpers", "wishful thinkers", "realists" or someone with insider trader info...but we heard many of the same when "California" legalized...you know, due to it being the 5th largest economy if it was it's own country etc...yet, an imperceptible bounce. That's not to say legalization on the federal level wouldn't be helpful, but let's just say I'm skeptical about how big a bounce/run...that doesn't mean I'm not hopeful though...just trying to keep it real for myself and not get too greedy. In either case, GL.
fwiw, for both you and mte1955, I did exactly as you're both doing now. My pps was at ~ $3.50 USD at one point, and decided to take the chance and average down. I'll admit, I was starting to regret it as it got closer to just above $1.00...was thinking I was going to take a bath and didn't always buy as it was going lower...then that recent run happened, and I sold at $4.87...I had managed to get my pps down to ~$2.19 USD by then. I decided to recoup my original investment plus a nice profit, now I'm playing with house money...and to boot, the current pps for my remaining shares is ~$1.46. GL
It took a while, but when I bought back in when it was ~ $3,40 and then it subsequently tanked, I took the chance by continuing to buy low, even though I was doubting myself the entire time. I felt averaging down was risky and it was looking pretty bleak when it was fast approaching $1. Fortunately, I stayed the course and during the last couple of weeks, my patience was rewarded. Over time, I was able to get my pps just a tad over $2 and sold enough to recoup my original investment at $4.87 pps. Now I'm just playing on house money. Everything is gravy at this point. GLTA
Well, averaging down finally paid off. Was able to recoup my original investment and now hoping to benefit from this ride.
You don't make money on flowery words, rather, pps.
Yup...and I was so close to getting back to even. If it drops significantly, I'll continue to average down...it almost worked this time for me, but the earnings report will probably take the steam out...hopefully only for a little while...then at some point, I will leave OGI behind. GLTA
...every so often, the stock "pumpers" come back in an attempt to bring life back into a "pig".
Kaly...well on it's way to oblivion...
