Curious. Siddartha uses your same name...exactly, not that cuteold man pic you use on twitter where you are retired and do not short or do options.
Sure is trading that way today.
Tech, I hope your significant other appreciates you as much as we do.
I have the same amount. Honestly, I will sell half when we hit 13 again so I have capital for these dips, unless volume and movement are strong.
Is this supplier just key to the Hemo-defend trials in America or does this supplier also affect world distribution? Chan seemed to intimate that it was just the US trials were set back, although it sounded like things were coming back online.
6.8m higher loss than 2017.
5.4m higher gross revenue.
So where did the 12.2m go.
4.5M in R&D - completely understandable and great IMO
6.0m in Sales + G&A - This concerns me although as a % of sales it is lower 1.13% in 2017 and 1.04 in 2018. I would have hoped for lower with efficiencies.
Currency loss sucks...but what can you do.
B I hear you, but I wonder what is the point. We know we are tied to a rocket, but does Chan even know when it will launch?
@Martys12, I agree. Going through divorce so I had to ask wife if she wanted to sell...she asked if I was selling mine and basically said no way in hell. Low volume and no news.
I was using a 2013 study I put the link in the post and did not title it, but Murph's link (1st one) has a more recent study and much higher cost...of course, nothing is getting cheaper.
I have been thinking, though, since that post that the costs w/o cytosorb treatment include 30%+ deaths. How much would a person / family pay to have that reduced to 10-15%, not to mention that there would be a shorter stay once sepsis was controlled = less money spent.
Average cost of sepsis treatment. I agree; great post on filter pricing. I wonder what impact the use of the filter (~$5,000US) has on the average of $18,000US (2013) for a sepsis stay.I would hazard it would be a push or slight savings. Hopefully volume usage could bring costs down in the long term.

I looked back to find the posts of the firm pumping us, but could not find on Yahoo, maybe here, but doesn't matter. Last year around April / May there was a large equity firm that was pumping our stock to its clients. At the time I commented the volume and price rise was weird without news...none of us were sad as the stock continued on up...until September and then a slow bleed...now magically we are exactly right where we were before they gave all their followers the CTSO kool aid. JMHO.
That is freaking gross, but wow what an image for sales!
From what I have read about "Breakthrough Devices Program" it gives priority review protocols to speed up the review / approval process, but they still need to conduct all of the same clinical trials we have to; which is the real time and money sink.
@GoodSport
Not a direct answer, but from the Biotech interview on critical care and cardiac; "But we believe that we’re just scratching the surface of the market opportunity. This is really a $20-billion opportunity in critical care and cardiac surgery" -Chan
obviously a forward looking statement.
Best wishes for 2019 to all! May we see great returns and have the health that those who use [our] product do not have.
Filed under: "let's pump you full of stuff, instead of use what is safe, simple, and proven"...just not in U.S.

Especially love the last paragraph...
"Together, these studies will either tell doctors that there's a remarkable new treatment for a deadly disease or that it was another good idea that just didn't pan out."
My opinion is the volume is so light and this stock price is so easy to affect, "they", bring it up so they can bring it back down and make money both ways. If volume was heavier I would have more hope, but being long it matters not to me.
Queens state Sen. Jose Peralta suffered sudden septic shock...

No idea if he would have lived with a filter, but at least he would have had a chance.
I did the same @9.34. All the knee jerk to DJI drop.
We all know this stock is worth much more, but hey we went up over 100% this year. I know...I am half full guy, but that is only because I know the water is being poured in not out.
I am not able to, but can someone ask about Dr. June during Q&A?
The conf. call picture is kinda weird, but after today's profits you can show sponge bob for all I care
Andy,
That would be huge. Aren't cytokines also a player in Alzheimer's? I would love to see a trial on that...could Cytosorb be used similar to dialysis in this role to keep them at bay, even if it does not cure?
Skip to 3:40 and he basically says the caller made a home run on a stock he never heard of...next caller...
LOL! I was thinking that exact word today...finally the "inflection" point.
Latvia...I especially like the before and after usage...double sales, not to mention this person was a train wreck for surgery and Cytosorb probably saved their life on the table.
I do the same...it adds up over the years. Only takes about 2-4 weeks to get the price move so it makes some money and requires a whole 30 seconds of those days when bids are hit to reset. I keep my main intact because I know when it pops it will be NONE of the news we predicted, it will be out of the blue.
Your comments are true; to a point. Even with buying lows and selling highs with 20% of CTSO total stock ownings (even a word?) I am up 20% in CTSO, but that does not mean I/we live in a CTSO isolation. Like you I have enjoyed the market rise and even more the market falls (read UVXY). I started buying this stock many years ago because I wanted one stock that actually has some positive benefits in this world. Yes I still want to make money, and no CTSO is not where all of it is, else my gains would be completely encapsulated in your statement.
Your beloved Badger
I thought so...didn't know he was so young.
I do not mind the buying opportunity, but now that I have no more money to buy more can you let them know that 7.99 is still under 8.00? :)
Confirmation bias is a bit*h...
In the last week actually the opposite. The 19,200 buy that has been sitting at 6.20 has kept the price up. I am guessing when news is released today that support will be eaten through and, as usual, and we will be back in 5.65-5.85 range. Same as it ever was. Not my hope as I support this company completely.

Market Makers are purposly keeping the ctso price lower for some bigger company, now I think it's because of those talks possibly.
I respectfully/cautiously agree. The volume is not right...
