It has been overlooked that Anthony Suave in his new study declares NRH to be a "potent pharma agent that is 2.5 to 10 times
more potent than NR in raising NAD+ levels".
CDXC obtained a GRANTED patent covering NRH on 1-22-19 that will further the possibility of a pharma partner/buyout.
Scroll way down on the patent link to see a table comparing the potency of NRH to NR.
Is NRH the ultimate game changer?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30948509
Here it is covered in the recently granted patent:
https://patents.google.com/patent/US10183036B2/en?q=NRH&assignee=Chromadex&oq=Chromadex+NRH
As an example of the immense research going on into Nad+ precursors is Dr. Brunhilde Felding's work at Scripps Research in San Diego. They have discovered that by boosting Nad+ levels breast cancer metastasis can be halted:

Chromadex supplied the NR for this study and has licensed the pending parent from Scripps:

Who is paying for Elysium's unending hyper litigious behavior and what is their end game?
Is it that Dr. Photoshop and Dr. Resveratrol missed NR/NAD and they and their supporters have been doing everything they can to stall/hinder/obstruct CDXC until they can get back in the lead where they obviously believe they alone belong?

Boosting NAD levels to treat alcoholism and drug addiction is another HUGE potential market for Niagen NR.
Interestingly David Sinclair is mentioned in this article:

M, thanks for that response and also thanks for your incredible ongoing coverage of this fascinating legal journey. I like SO many others have been getting one hell of an education from you on different aspects of the law and the legal system. Please keep it up and know that your observations are greatly anticipated and appreciated!
M, let me rephrase that ..what could they have possibly discovered?
Milarepa, interesting coincidence that shortly after Chromadex probably obtained the disputed discovery in the California case that they feel so much stronger that they hire a new FDA attorney and submit a supplemental petition to both FDA and then the letter to the New York Court. What did they discover in California?
Milarepa, doesn't this place EH in a perilous position?
By being forced to disclose who they buy their mystery NR from and how much they have bought/sold they may be establishing the basis for the amount of patent infringement(treble)damages? Also puts their supplier at risk?
Maybe better to drop the (baseless) patent misuse and implied license claim now to avoid these disclosures?
Then put all their marbles on the big one..the IPR review.
This Supreme Court IPR hearing analysis concludes at the minimum new limits coming on IPR process

Is this what the allegations are referring to in the NY Lawsuit?
How big of an issue is this in scientific/academic world?

No wonder so many people have lost faith in the legal system
This judge is a continual disappointment.
Does it make sense to immediately appeal this ruling to a higher authority?
Does this make a settlement more/less likely?
Judge Cormac yesterday denied motion to dismiss patent misuse..maybe it was a mistake for CDXC to try and play nice
Description of Dr. Feldings discovery. Maybe this is why Zuckenberg et. al. have jumped in.
http://www.scripps.edu/felding/
Here is the cancer patent that Chromadex has licensed from The Scripps Research Institute. Dr. Brunhilde Felding discovered by increasing Nad+ levels you can halt cancer from metastasizing. What's that worth?

Well Chromadex with its super heavy hitter investors in essence has unlimited funds to fight EH. In addition Dartmouth, Cornell, University of California all will spend whatever necessary to defend their patents they have licensed to CDXC.
Wonder what the EH investors are thinking about their predicament.
M, isn't EH also potentially infringing on Chromadex's Psterostilbene patents? Why isn't this being discussed?
M,another great analysis. How long can EH play this game with the courts?? Why don't the judges see this and start granting Chromadex its well argued motions?
Really makes one lose faith in the legal system.
Chromadex has a lock on Psterostilbene which appears to treat MRSA infections...whats that worth?
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5468402/
This research group is following CDXC and has some interesting observations.
http://tailwindsresearch.com/2017/11/cdxc-could-truniagen-start-trending/
M, Great analysis as usual. Over and over EH appears to be out lawyered. EH lawyers look to have been instructed to do whatever necessary to construct claims that will deter/delay/denigrate Chromadex and their management without any real chance of success. Sign of desperation? Why can't they just go discover/invent/patent something on their own instead of trying to steal/destroy the hard work of others?
On the bright side for Chromadex/Dartmouth is that once these patent challenges are defeated it will make the whole patent portfolio stronger and less chance of challenge.
The NY judge has probably taken note of the vast difference in experience between the two.
In regards to the $23 million share purchase today by all these different Asian investors...Li Ka shing " Hey, you all are always asking me for good investment advice maybe you should pile into CDXC because our sales at Watsons of Niagen are blowing out the door and this baby is going to the moon"
M, this New York judge seems to be very serious, on top of it and moving quickly. Plus you are right that a 200 million Dollar lawsuit tends to get one's attention. It also looks like Cooly has brought out their big New York Players on this. Alan Levine is a heavy weight.
Pacer reports both New York cases have been combined under one judge. Yesterday that judge put a halt to any discovery until respective motions to dismiss or ruled on. Judge also ordered both sides to participate in mediation and requested that a sophisticated corporate mediator be assigned to the case by November 13 .
M, is there a possibility the parties requested mediation here? If they are in mediation what happens to the California case and the patent office hearing?
Thank Karin. With all of this ferocious hyper-expensive legal activity it really is starting to look like they are fighting over...The Fountain of Youth.
Yes that is the document maybe someone else can get it to come through. Thanks for your read on it.
Milarepa, what do you make of this? First time EH has shown any willingness to even discuss settlement. Pacer shows both NY suits will be tried by the same Judge and she has assigned a Magistrate Judge(?)
Is settelement even possible at this stage?

So the Dean of Harvard Medical School was questioning the involvement of the Nobel Prize Winners?
One thing for sure those Nobel Laureates and their valuable prideful reputations will not like being drug into a $200 Million lawsuit. Discovery will be very interesting.
Based on the complaint they seem to be really focused on the Nobel Prize Winners and their "implied endorsements". Like many others we started taking NR based on their involvement. A number of articles have taken these scientists to task for apparently selling their reputations to back an "unproven" supplement.
Getting drug into a $200 million law suit will not be good for these much prized reputations.
Looks like Chromadex/Li Ka-Shing/Frost had enough. This $200 mill suit covers it all including the coup attempt ie: SA short hit piece, purloining of employee's, huge order with no payment,Etc
Also looks like they will be strongly questioning the implied endorsement of the Nobel Prize winners..Guarante's involvement....discovery bound to be very, very interesting
Milarepa, Pacer shows that CDXC filed a law suit yesterday against EH and its a doozy. Appears to be an all encompassing complaint reaching way back to the retracted SA short attack and employee raid. Also questions the implied endorsements of the Nobel Prize Winners and Harvard,Oxford, etc
