He said he achieved milestones three times in this video!
I have no idea but there is definitely secrecy and I just think there is still a path for everything to make sense once the light is finally shined and the truth comes out. From the complete other side of my mouth, I could see this being a complete dumpster fire. It’s probably more of a dumpster fire but who the hell knows anymore. ????
Hugo looks like several single ports just lined up to me. I could see Medtronic announcing the use of some of our snake arms and camera and then getting proof that it works and then buying out Titan down the road for the Single Port. Titan gets to use Medtronic’s info for its FDA approvals and everyone wins and nobody has been truly deceitful. It’s not too far off from plausible.
Could it be that MDT is potentially planning to use TMDI’s IP (snake arms) for Hugo (Medtronic project) and then also acquire TMDI as their SP system once they get clearances or more information about its potential? Because MDT has not only exclusive rights to the current IP but also any new IP developed along the way, makes me believe that if milestones are met, then a BO will happen. MDT appears willing to invest and help TMDI but not fully jump into bed with them. A 10 million dollar mistake is much easier to explain rather than a 2 billion dollar mistake.
From the license agreement:
13.4 No Public Statements. Neither Party may issue or release any announcement, statement, press release, or other publicity or marketing materials relating to this Agreement or, unless expressly permitted under this Agreement, otherwise use the other Party’s trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, domain names, or other indicia of source, association, or sponsorship, in each case, without the prior written consent of the other Party, which shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.
There is so much redacted that it only raises more questions and suspicion that it was them or “affiliates”. The fact they spend so much time on defining affiliates again points to a 3rd party controlled by MDT. They practically say so just by the definition. If this wasn’t the case, there would be no need in defining this relationship.
Is Titan providing licensing to Medtronic for 31 million and then that’s it? If they have the technology to basically take it and run with it, where does that leave Titan?
This is an example of what traditionally happens and what could be avoided in the future with open data.

This is an interesting article about how data will affect robotic surgery. What jumped out at me is how this could help any company with a superior product to da Vinci break through into the market place where traditionally the barrier to entry was a superior sales force or relationships. I could see the hospitals being pressured by patients and insurance companies to use the best and most successful systems and doctors and not just the largest or most used system.

What gets me is if Titan has had such successful testing on animals, why wouldn’t they post any new videos to prop up the Share Price. Unless they are waiting to let MDT do it.
The press release only states that MDT will rival Davinci SP but it doesn’t say their’s is a SP. (If we are getting technical)

This article is 2 years old but it is really confusing. It shows that Medtronic’s robot is Mirosurge but I don’t if this is still the case. Seems like if this was the case then I wouldn’t be the 1st one to see this. ???

Interesting article about the players. It’s a yr old but good info.
Remember, Medtronic is also Covidien and they have several patents. Interesting find tonight is that it appears Medtronic/Covidien bought the license to Mirosurge/DLR and they are said to be using several of their ideas into Medtronic’s new system. Both Titan and Mirosurge use the same controls “Force Dimension” Swiss co. as well. However, I’m still unsure what is what. ???????
Titan Spine is not a robot. It is just an implant product. http://www.titanspine.com/product-line
https://awesomecapital.wordpress.com/?s=Medtronic+&submit=Search
This article states that Medtronic will introduce their new robot with a live, pre-clinical demonstration. How could have Medtronic kept their testing so quiet and secretive without anyone leaking any photos or news but now release it to the world in a live demonstration?

August 8, 2019 job posting
“As the Principal Software Engineer, you will work within the Medtronic R&D engineering team to design, develop and support the software used in the Surgeon Console for the next generation robotic assisted minimally invasive surgery system.”
“Surgeon Console” Do you smell what the Rock’s got cooking?
Hahahahahahaa! Are you suggesting that Medtronic is going to go to market with a Yugo and Medrobotics? You really are grabbing at straws!
It just seems that every time Titan needed money, it showed up and everything points to a prearranged deal. Look at this company in a Shark Tank mentality. Company with a good idea pitches investment opportunity. Investor A likes it but realizes it would be less risky if Investor B joins in as well. Investor A&B agree to invest in company with an initial investment through a shell holding company and technological support and to financially support as necessary when required as long as company hits certain milestones and agreement to renegotiate position if it takes longer than expected through an increased equity position at final milestone. Investor A & B also boost credibility and help align physician feedback and facility participation through their reputation and common desire to take on ISRG upon successful launch. Company proves to investor as being a viable investment and does a shelf raise that adjusts Investor A & B’s future position in a prearranged structured purchase agreement. Investor finally feels comfortable enough to attach its name and reputation to company and goes public with their investment and rebrands with either Investor A & B’s primary company. At said time, Investor A & B with deep pockets and impeccable credit, agree to provide non diluting financing (bank loan) except for the prearranged agreement and move to production as a subsidiary to Investor A & B or JV.
It’s the way I would do it if I had money to put at risk for a risky investment that possibly could hurt my reputation if it failed.
March 2018 video on Titans website @1:02 mark.
February 2018 video on Titans website at 2:34 mark
All I’m saying is that Titan and Karl Storz have been working together for awhile and these instruments aren’t just pulled off the shelf and used during an experimental procedure without many hours of coordination. Too many coincidences to not seriously think that Medtronic is behind the scenes and in control of Titan’s Sport.
I have several screen shots but don’t think I can post photos.
Karl Storz and Medtronic have been working for four years together, per MassDevice article. Titan re-introduces SP Sport and gets 24 million private placement in, wait for it, November of 2015. 4 yrs ago.
Then in 2018 Titan announces delay in FDA submission on February 6, 2018 amazingly so does Medtronic in early 2018 per June 11, 2019 article by MassDevice.
I don’t know how the financing will work but if “When you hear Hoofbeats, think of Horses, not Zebras” Dr. Theodore Woodward
(Titan Medical pushes FDA submission back to 2019, looks to US stock market cross listing)
(Medtronic has sought to give Intuitive Surgical a run for its money as the leader of the robot-assisted surgery space, but it announced in early 2018 that its robot-assisted surgery effort had fallen behind schedule.)
(After four years of operating under the radar, Medtronic has made its relationship with endoscope manufacturer Karl Storz publicly official in order “to enable upcoming regulatory filings.”)
Karl Storz is all over the Titan Videos and Karl Storz and Medtronic disclosed on June 11 they agreed to a partnership to use their 3D visualization camera. Why wouldn’t have there been an announcement between Titan and Karl Storz if there wasn’t already an agreement in place. Titan isn’t just grabbing spare parts off the shelf to use in Sport. Karl Storz is a big part of Titan (just look through their videos on Titan’s website) and has announced an agreement with Medtronic for their unnamed SP system. This isn’t too hard to figure out!

Looks similar to me. Hugo is/was owned by Covidien (aka Medtronic) but terminated. Now ENOS pops up with Titan. Hmmm??
I noticed the Karl Storz instrument at the 2:50 mark. Did we know that they were working with Titan already?
I like to see people picking up on this good news!
