Senti,
Thanks for sharing your observations....tedious work!
GLTALs
....that’s assuming that I recognize your spelling ability and that it was a deliberate typo.
Fair enough.
You are stating the obvious on the uneven development but with such a sweeping statement.....”Asia is backwards” insinuates ALL of Asia....Japan, S.korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong included? Ever heard of these countries, probably not). Would you bother to expand on that statement, if not asked to elaborate? Naw, easier to make a sweeping pronouncement and let the audience or readers do their own research, which they won’t...they just move on but their overall takeaway, “Asia IS backwards”.
That why lazy, sensationalist and manipulative journalism work.... make sweeping statements and headlines with no substance in the body of the article, just put together some anecdotal stuff ....throw in half truths and the rest BS....make it sound plausible and job done...not unlike AF’ s hit pieces.
Your post.only underscores my point, “ nuff said”
It was not in response to this current post but the cumulative apprehensions you have on Chinese data and reports which you deem “problematic”. I recall the post from this past week where stated that you trusted Italian data more than anything coming out from China or their narrative. Couldn’t quite locate the exact post or to have responded straightaway as I was flat out “fighting fires”!
What I was addressing to was how we get our “knowledge ” which is from “our” media and discount all other news as fake / biased or misinformation and from this angle, we form our views and conclusions.
No, you did not say asia was backward.
Bio,
I don’t know what your job is, background or where you reside but my bailiwick is Asia, it’s where I have worked and lived for many years. I left Philly many years ago and continued my private investment / venture capital career in China, East Asia and South East Asia.
Having personally witnessed the rise of China and SEAsian countries, I have found that many in the States have not “refreshed” their “perceptions” of Asia. We frame our views through the lens, narratives and commentaries of CNN, Fox, CNBC, Bloomberg and for the more “adventurous” the BBC. Most times we get our daily dose of “international” views from our local media stations, tweets of our leaders and celebrities. In other words, no other views except those that we are fed with! They are “comfortable” in their perception that Asia is still “backward and most work in sweatshops”.
The rude awakening is that asia is quietly surpassing the west in basic infrastructure and technology. Technology that was copied? Stolen? No matter how you want to label it but they are fast catching up and are now ahead especially in the area of 5G technology. Accusations of spyware did not stick, our British and European allies are going for Huawei. Face saving to Trump, everywhere but not in sensitive areas....so...what did Trump decree? No more Huawei in rural America! Wow, huge market!
When I stay in hotels in Asia, the news coverage is truly international, from CNN to BBC to Russia Today to Al Jazeera to Fox and a dozen other international news networks. That’s the news menu, you may rail and lament.....don’t trust any other news but only from US networks or Fox or whoever you reckon are trustworthy but are they really? Are their narratives and reporting really unbiased? On the obverse side of the coin, if you are an Asian and live in Asia, the narrative they are fed, would it have an Asian bias? I’m afraid the world does not revolve around the US or Europe....
What do I mean by bias? View the clip on Covid 19 and judge for yourself. Chinese network you say, well...doesn’t he have a point?
https://news.cgtn.com/news/2020-03-12/Double-standards-on-COVID-19-not-helpful-ONHCANJaRq/index.html
It’s even more comical for you to say that Duffy is “one of hundreds” in a BP and he opted to be a “big fish” in a “failed trial/fraudulent/ need to keep the lights on/Enron Linda” company (as you guys have been calling NWBO) and somehow this would add “polish” to his resume!
Ive got to say, it’s getting more slapstick as TLD Day fast approaches!
T-Minus 43 Days
Now that you have established where you are coming from, let’s deal with the rest of your post.
Unlikely to be a “nothing burger”.....that’s tantamount to be“seppuku” by DI and management.
They could have just announced the ASM, nothing more nothing less and not unnecessarily build expectations by stating it as “interesting”and “encouraging” shareholders to make travel plans to DC and....hmmm...then nothing? Not logical therefore not a possible outcome...period!
I still believe TLD will be announced BEFORE the Notice of ASM is sent out at the end of March. Any other PRs that are released closer to the ASM in April may be some “corporate” news like a partnership / licensing / financing options to advance the company into the next phase of its corporate development. Transforming it from an R&D company into a revenue generating one WHEN its product gets approval. Perhaps a timeline or an application for accelerated approval based on sterling TLD results?
This I believe will be discussed under the Agenda heading of “Any Other Business”. AOB is a common catchall item at ASMs where the Board often unveils and showcase their corporate plans moving forward. These plans are usually outlined to shareholders when a company moves into the next phase of their corporate development. These ARE discussions held during ASMs and although may be “new” but is not “Material News” per se as they are Forward Looking Plans and not something that has to be PR’ed before hand.
Yes, perhaps no new “news” but discussions on corporate plans moving forward will be of immense “interest” to shareholders.
The negative narrative has been growing of late, injecting fear and doubt. I expect it to grow louder daily as the month progresses and it serves to reinforce my belief that we are nearing a successful end to the Phase 3 Trial. Their strategy to manipulate and cap the price only underscores the fact that IF there is an interest in bashing a $0.20 stock, its value is definitely much higher. Why spend days, nights and weekends (for years) discrediting it’s efficacy and management when it is a failed or fraudulent company? Ergo.....
THERE MUST BE A CONSIDERABLE VALUE TO THE COMPANY!
I have already made my investment in NWBO and have continued to do so on price dips, for me “the die is cast” and I’m NOT losing any sleep on this investment.
AIMHO
Disclosure : This poster has funds invested in NWBO and has not received any remuneration for this post. However he will be remunerated when he sells his stocks after the pps of NWBO goes to da moon!
.....and yet here you are!
Fact is stranger than fiction!
As I had earlier posted, my belief is that they may have already data locked and are currently analysing the results. They will then announce TLD a few days before they release the Notice of ASM.
,
Perhaps listed on the Agenda would be their plans moving forward based on the TLD . ....be it ....partnerships, licensing, Direct Trial timing etc. They may even ask us to vote on increasing the Authorised Capital and agree to another capital raising exercise in order to realise those plans and for additional working capital.
Off the back of a positive TLD, why not?
Would indeed be a very interesting ASM....

Addendum to Note to Self:
Could possibly be total BS and beneath her or anyone else’s dignity to respond? No gravitas.....and not to make the same mistake as NW, giving credibility to Phase V crapola!
Why not if the TLD announcement “meets all endpoints”.....that would be very “interesting” as a shareholder loyalty rewards perk!
In the spirit of your ridicule....think you left out
5. Shareholder Loyalty Rewards Programme?
From your lips to the ears of the gods!
Probably but not for the reason you are intimating to, I think it’s more for “who wants to sell their shares” to the poor shorts who are being squeezed....with the proviso that they cry “Please Uncle” before we consider their tender in settlement for our shares!
ATL,
Thumbs up!
Umibe5690,
Exactly....they really need not have inserted “interesting” into the PR. It only opens them up to more criticism if it emerges to be “not as advertised”.
There are some here who are trying to obfuscate the nuance of the PR and what it is conveying. I don’t have any doubt that as Harvard trained lawyers, LP & LG would NOT be careless in drafting the PR.
All will be revealed in their Notice of ASM before the end of March....
T-Minus 45 days
I’ll be the first to admit a mistake. I had stated in my earlier post that they would trot out AF to write a hit piece,.looks like they brought out their new “Attack dog”...to write his second “hit piece”! Perhaps “reserving the wit and analytical intelligence” of AF with his poli sci degree to write something when nwbo announces TLD or “interesting” stuff.
Makes me wonder, why is so much effort to discredit a $0.20 stock?
Oh, I forgot to save us from ourselves!
Thank you Mr. Sun, contents Noted with thanks! (Sarcasm)
So sad to watch good love go bad.....
Kab,
Kudos to you and to the other posters for your patience in responding to “asked and answered” posts pertaining to NWBO, financial issues and activities.
I believe it’s a blatant attempt to keep negative threads active and “always on top of MB discussions.
It is very obvious that they read every post and it would be very unlikely that they had “missed” the responses and rebuttals and yet they keep bringing it to the fore at every turn when discussions turn positive.
GLTALs
Wow Ex,
Why don’t you take it to its ridiculous conclusion?
Leasehold improvements include the access road, carpark facilities, power lines, water supply and drainage, landscaping and so forth....so by your logic....NWBO should NOT OUTFIT the site as it would constitute an IMPROVEMENT that would not benefit NWBO shareholders (in a company that you are not a shareholder of) if they were to transfer the lease on the property to Advent.
Ok, as a registered shareholder of NWBO, I’ll email Linda Powers to remind her to rip out all improvements and adopt a “scorched earth” policy should she decideto dispose!
Hmmm...I wonder with improvements to the leased property....would the sale of the remaining lease be more valuable or one that had its guts ripped out?
Thanks for looking out for us!

The question we longs have to ask is, what are these funds going to be used for?
I’m hoping that Antihama”s post can be expanded and if our fellow shareholders from across the pond can “sniff” around the site and activate their contact network, more information can surface.
Antihama (267515)
“UK Reveals Plans For ‘Dynamic’ Post-Brexit Regulatory System
Ian Schofield February 25th, 2020 Xconomy National”
Contained in the body of Britain’s plan :
“.........Among the aspirations are more streamlined procedures for clinical trials, advanced therapies and personalized medicines.....
.......”the changes will “cement our ability to enable early access to cutting edge technologies.....
If the stated reasons for the capital raise is viewed as being aligned to these multiple goals in a post- brexit Britain ......then this (in bold) makes sense...
“.....may include working capital, capital expenditures (including acceleration of the expansion of the facilities for production of DCVax® products in the UK)”
IMO, there is a very real possibility that the UK may grant approval to DCVax-L ahead of the US and treatments could begin as early as 1Q 2021.
The Brits had earlier granted NWBO “PIM” Status.
Designation For DCVax-L Is First Step In 2-Step Process for Early Access Approval
September 16, 2014. (Promising Innovative Medicine PIM)
A secondary reason, with a “faster to market” DCVax-L, the UK can tap into the very lucrative medical tourism sector. If the infamous EU bureaucratic red tape holds true and they drag their approval process, European patients will flock to the UK whilst the EMA deliberate and negotiate with their insurance companies.
This can be a major catalyst for the UK to fast track DCVax-L.
Recall, NICE was ready to hear us out in November 2018 but for reasons still unknown, it was called off. (Preemptive note: ...eye roll....howls of “failed trial” will be heard in stereo)
We presently have in our corner, Prof Ashkan, who is the PI and an advocate of DCVax-L in the UK.. He had famously “pleaded” with NWBO to unblind the trial to give him “alternative” GBM treatment options. Without a doubt he would be providing a glowing testimony to NICE and MHRA on behalf of NWBO.
Uses for the raised capital? Why now?
Custom medical equipment will be needed if NWBO wants to ramp up its production (perhaps this will be discussed as part of an “interesting” ASM?)These equipment CANNOT be bought at your nearest Home Depot (as some might want you to think), it has to be pre ordered and would require large deposits. Lead times between an order and actual delivery can often be up to 6 months, depending on the complexity of assembling the ramped up production line. So, if NWBO is preparing for a Q1 2021 start of business...
Possible checklist at NWBO Central :
Funding : check.
Timing : check.
Recruitment of specialist personnel : check.
Next senti’s post #267539
“NWBO owns the 20 year lease on the Sawston building, along with the option to renew for another 20 years, and all the build out at Sawston. Advent owns the personnel that's overseeing the build out.”
That puts to rest the “it benefits” other parties assertions.
Applying a Occam’s Razor explanation to recent events is preferable to a Kafkaesque one!
Current price action :
Pure Fibonacci principles on pullback. Any attempt by the manipulators to go beyond the Fibonacci retracement points, I’ll be backing the truck....after all, we are going to have an interesting...T- Minus 52
Simply join the dots with the clues and voila....don’t let good news become bad! Surely you don’t expect them to be too explicit before the “interesting” ASM (as some may want them to be)...the strategy is still to “Shock and Awe” and trap the rats / terrorists!
Yup, although the Bill is still a work in progress ....it does not preclude NWBO from jumping through the British hoops, NICE submissions, presentations etc and be fully ready by 1st January 2020 or even get EAMS before end 2020! We have 10 months to go.
Approval and access to the EU market before BREXIT.
I’m sure most of you folks here know what “Contract Manufacturing” is all about?
If a company wants another company to manufacture a specialty product, they need to put down a deposit to “exclusively reserve” the contract manufacturer’s production capacity.
Companies (that ARE NOT RELATED) are often asked to put down a deposit to “reserve” production capacity. When that “reservation” converts into an actual order to start manufacturing, a mobilisation fee is requested by the contract manufacturer to start gearing up the capacity that was reserved. The more unique the product is, the larger the fee. Gearing up to manufacture specialty products would often require the contract manufacturer installing / ordering specialised equipment and materials.
To “activate” this reserved production capacity, it has to mean that “somebody” is very confident that their product is ready to be marketed pretty soon!
I don’t think the Sawston facility manufactures Baby Yodas....and Christmas is a tad far down the year....hmmm, I wonder what that product is? Why did they mention Sawston? Hmmm..could it be something Prof. Ashkan wants? Hmmm....
Btw, I love it when the negative chatter increases....only means that the “little red engine” that could is coming down the track and they are trying to pry as many cheap shares as they can from the swing traders and the “nervous nellies”....!
Whistling past the graveyard? The tune is not very convincing.
lc2030,
Notice it’s getting more “expensive” to do a walk down?
Use to take just a few hundred or a couple of thousand shares to walk the price down a cent or two.
Of late, many times more shares needed to move the needle.
The price action this morning......almost 1.76M shares to move the needle down a couple of cents.... remember, for every share sold, there’s someone buying it, unlike the wash trading of yore!
Price Cappers be afraid, be very afraid.....it’s going to take more and more shares moving forward for any walk downs!
You are welcome and good luck to all of us!
RuleofK
Thanks, my bad.
Price walk down....a well used technique.... but you knew that already....right?
Apparently my preamble was deemed to be a violation of TOS....I’ve re-posted the main body of my post, deleting a paragraph
Disclosure : the following is purely my opinion and LENGTHY speculation.
Question, why would NWBO release a PR hinting of an “interesting” period ahead?
I believe it’s a euphemism and a signal that we have a positive outcome to the trial but was more curious as to why “inform” the “Terrorists”?
Didn’t it piqued anyone’s curiosity that the 41% price rise was off the back of a mere 5.3M volume? There are 600+M issued shares and a trading volume of <1% can move the price by >40%???
I reckon, (like the PR was a shot across the bow) it was to spook the “price cappers” that it’s not business as usual.
With Thursday’s action, NWBO and their allies have shown that they can take control of the price narrative. Management, (I believe) know that they already have a winner, hence their confidence in inviting as many shareholders as possible to attend the ASM.
Basis for this confidence...their “world class statisticians” who were provided with the blinded data have worked out all the possible permutations based on this data and may have come to some concrete conclusions. Scenarios based on these conclusions were submitted to the SAB and who then recommended to NWBO to go ahead with data lock and unblinding the trial.
Next, I believe their draft SAP submission did not get any serious “objections / feedback” from the RAs, implying that “a nod was given” to submit their final SAP. With these boxes checked, we are where we are today....
an “interesting” ASM ahead and their “looking forward” to seeing us shareholders there!
Reminding us to “save the date” so that we could bring “pitchforks and torches”? What a ludicrous interpretation of the word “interesting” and the statement “looking forward to see you”
Regarding the recent price action, movement, “price cappers” game and on why we longs now own the game.
The “terrorists” know very well that there is no “infinite” number of shares for sale, (proven by the fact that <1% can move the price >40%) they also know that there are not many sellers except for swing traders, longs who had bought in the teens and of course, the warrant sellers with their “covered shares” (who were foolish enough to play with their warrants/shares for a miserly spread). Bottom line, limited number of shares for free float play.
The next question, the “price cappers” and the naked shorts (from the multi dollar price range period), would they continue to “cap the price” or should they cover their naked short?
I believe that DI has been quietly doing his job (over the many months of his joining NWBO) in convincing new investors to invest and be on “standby” with dry powder when the time comes for the “hammer to fall on the manipulators”. These “friendlies” did come in on Thursday and the price cappers were caught “napping” and with only a volume of 5.3M, they moved the stock 41%!
Questions moving forward for the friendlies to these parties....”do you want to sell us more shares to cap the price or call it a day and let the price run? Cap the price with your covered shares or do you want to try to naked short?” All the while knowing that we are expecting an “interesting” time ahead? Or is there a possibility that NWBO already has TLD in hand? To continue capping and manipulating, can only coil the spring tighter......... Dirty Harry once said...”you feeling lucky today, punk?”
Friday’s trading did indicate some profit taking and price capping action, 4+M trading volume with a 3% move compared to Thursday. Remember.....Rome was not built in a day!
So to the terrorists, are you, “in for a penny, in for a pound” or are you for “releasing the kraken”?
Whatever they decide, friendlies will either get more stock at an artificially depressed price for an “interesting” company at the “terrorists” expense or if they release the kraken, friendlies will go with what they currently own and still be able to cash in on their warrants for some of their “in the money” shares (earlier received from the “friendly parties” placement exercises).
The terrorists now know that with minimal trading volumes, one can exaggerate a disproportionate price movement and any other party who has nefarious intentions (like BPs) who want to negotiate with NWBO from a low price base will now have to reckon with a higher base price...another tactical win for NWBO.
Lastly, I’ll conclude with this prediction,
our stock will rise to $1 over the next month and the price will stay above $1 in order for us to qualify for an up list to NASDAQ, NO R/S needed!
The above AIMHO
GLTALs
That’s the narrative by the manipulators. How about reading the narrative at deepcapture.com?
Ex,
What you are referring to is known as “Wash Trades”.
To believe that only bottom feeding or “pump and dump” schemes via price manipulation are the only reasons for manipulation is pretty naive.
DNDN (to cite a company in the same space as NWBO) was manipulated and was BK’ed. Later sold to a Pharma.
Other common reasons, manipulate the price and later offer a low ball number for a takeover / to engineer a BO....I’m sure there are many more reasons but it’s getting a tad late to debate a point about something that you know about...already!
RuleofK,
The requirement you are referring to and link is for applications for a new listing.
I was given to understand that companies who were formerly on NASDAQ but was delisted because their trading price had been trading below $1 for a period of time can apply to be re-listed after the price starts to trade consistently above a dollar. Re-listing requirements are quite different from new listings.
However, if other posters who are more familiar with Nasdaq re-listing requirements could weigh in, it would useful for us to know.
Exactly Vator!
Totally illogical to “encourage” us to attend and “look forward” to meeting the shareholders if it was to tell them that the trial had failed!
“Interesting” was used as a euphemism for .......successful trial!
They need NOT announce data lock or positive data but they MUST announce negative news......ergo all signs point to a positive conclusion to our patience!
Btw, the “staff meeting” held after the PR did not throw up anything of substance, pretty lame posts trying to negatively spin it. Only action was the usual Table Tennis games between the known suspects.
Clearly not effective as evidenced by yesterday’s price action. If I were them, I’d make an emergency conference call with AF and Jim Cramer, (the self confessed short specialist) to come up with better material. AF must also tweet something negative now before the price runs away.... unless he is also cracking his head trying to come up with something logical so that it can get some traction....Cramer....help!
I’m hoping for increased negative chatter and higher volumes....to indicate impending good news release! At the moment volumes are not substantial enough to attract market attention and induce “panic buying” by both new investors and the “short laggards” who have not covered their previous naked shorts,
Don’t think any new shorts would be daft enough to continue their shorting activities below $0.50 except perhaps to contain price spikes or to “reinforce” negative assertions to support the notion that Mr. Market has “spoken” and/or to conduct “walk down” price banding activities to aid trading volumes for the MMs, they too have to make a buck for their daily bread.
Whatever....T-Minus 58
Nope, so many of them have been put on the “Ignore” list....they are dead to some ;)
So as not to contravene the TOS and not referring to anyone here.. any resemblance to any person living or “dead” on this MB is purely coincidental....and these are fictional musings.....but the topic is NWBO.
I find it interesting that some handles are oxymoronic....eg...seeing the light....wannabe analysts.....JR Ewing of Dallas.... the number shares for sale is always in the “billions”....just to name a few.
If you guys have read the article on Short practices, you would be able to identify the “pitchforks” from the “silver tongues”! The deflectors, comic relief, the numbers guy who digs up old SEC filings and analyses accounts....man...quite well staffed for a $0.16 per share company.....wonder why?
