So far so good. Lets see what next week brings...
Will be interesting to see if this rally is due to some
( maybe many ) hoping to trade the stock split...
Yes, that was my understanding.
Yep, got a good chunk. Had a small position since last year. When they raised a pile of cash earlier I called them to see what was going on. It was never said directly but my take on it was they really liked what they saw on the properties and wanted to do major drilling ASAP and had access to crews and equipment. Therefore the big share issue to raise major cash. I bought a nice chunk after that @ .40 I must admit I am surprised at the strength so soon. Looks like I am not the only one liking the story these days. Hopefully this is another Strateco for me!
But ya never know in these... Fast up,faster down LOL
This is run by old uranium guys from the first uranium boom. Better odds IMO than just about all the new Uranium companies created the last while where the only uranium they ever will have is in the name.
RPT showing good volume and strength these days.
Thanks...
Thanks for posting.
Not many are better than Mr. Rule to keep the investing mind in check. I wish he had a newsletter...
Nice POP today. L2 very thin on the ask. Hopefully it stays that way over night and Friday...
DR, Inwentash is a smart, clever and well connected guy who is involved in these two company and both are also pushed hard by Dines. They both have had incredible runs and I am sure those two will do their best to keep it that way. I got in very early in MGA when it was Maple and sold it back in late February. Had what I thought was better place to put the money to work. Time will tell if that was the smart thing to do or not... LOL
DR. You should do well with a basket of those picks. U funds are starting to pop-up and they will have to place that money somewhere and they will go to the most liquid stocks. This is the begining of the U bubble. Long ways to go unless we get some nasty global event...
Based on some pictures on there, it looks like intercepts are between 40 and 80 meters. Hopefully this will be the next RSC. The grades are sure there but not the width at this point. This is an experienced team, if these are teezers from below they will most likely find the big "kahoona" given time. Hopefully sooner than later.
John, stockhouse RPT board recent posts by sammenard may help you...
Dr, you should get an update from Casey mid month as it should be the quarterly updates. I didn't catch all the speakers at the show but did get to talk to or listen to those I have a lot of respect for analysts such as Bishop, Coffin and Kaiser. They all felt there are wayyyyy too many juniors out there jumping on the "U" bandwagon and to be very carefull where you put your money. There will be more big money to be made in this sector but you will have to be very carefull where you put your dollars. I got in to PXP about a year ago based on my own DD, felt this company was one of the few out there worth puting money into. General comments made at the show about PXP basically confirmed this again. I am not a trader and will let management do it's job and hopefully they will find an economic deposit of yellowcake...
John, sorry wasn't on my list to visit.
PXP was among the few U stocks that stood out as a favorite genuine uranium play at the Calgary resources show as discussed during panel discussions and presentations.
Had a chitchat with Pat & Tim
At the calgary resource show this weekend. Nothing was said that wasn't public info about FDN however when the other areas are discussed one truly realize the huge potential there still is on their whole property. Observing others at the show, it was my impression that many simply think that they have missed the boat on this one and think money is best placed some where else. which IMO is a good part of the reason this stock has been churning as of late. If this wasn't already a big position I wouldn't hesitate to place some money at work here since I believe that this stock has as good a chance to give investors a ten bagger from this point on as anything out there. I would suggest that anyone thinking it's too late to get in, call the company or better yet see them in person if at all possible. It just may change your opinion that it's too late to make money on this one. Plenty of upside potential left here.
It's only the beginning of the ascent to the top IMO.
Thanks for the update. I look forward to some of the other 36 targets to get the drill treatment. We need all the help we can get these days to get us to the "300 room" LOL
Ya, I didn't think we would see $25 again. It sure looked like $27 was the low.
You could very well be right but other exploration companies would love to have results like hole 90. Can't wait to see results from the other 35 or so gold targets also. I am holding until the story changes for the worse or we get bought out. So far the story keeps getting better. I am sure these swings can be fun for traders like you. I hope you do well on them.
Yup, great results again... Yet Mr. Market takes the prices down again. I figure three more good news release and the stock should be back down to $3 LOL
Thanks for the update.
Only the drill bit can make that 12 inches grow...LOL
Triple figure with a "3" in front would rock...
Here's my take,
if you have a 12" pizza, it's still going to be a 12" pizza if it's cut it in two, four or eight parts. Stock splits won't make any difference to the size of the deposit or the real value of this company. You can still buy odd lots if you don't have enough for 100's. Lower price/more shares could add to the ups and downs but I am not a trader so... Why bother? Speaking of cheese, I hope they make this property look like a swiss block of the stuff and give us a steady stream of results like we have had since Spring. That will make for a bigger pizza... Dare to dream. I like RR's price target BTW.
Just curious, Why?
I am aware. Can't kiss all the girls : ) Would be nice tho!
That would be a perfect combo...
I would prefer news myself. Venture listing hasn't prevented the big money from chewing on this... However a tsx listing will probably free up more managers to get in.
Yup, most of them about the 3 buck mark and a few more at 19.
Johnlw,
I can't do private email on here. I knew someone would likely pickup on that clue...
Wouldn't that be a fantastics experience to be there and see the core results as they were drilling and talk to the geo's.
The other site I would also love to visit right now would be Strateco's Matoush site. Would they allow that for a "Larry Lawnmower" investor? Sure would be interesting...
Thanks,
it wasn't the typical golden hand shake as I was too young (early forties) but with two plant closing down they needed to cut back accross the board so I volunteered for a "package" and got it. As soon as the white stuff is gone it will be back to work. Work on a low single digit handicap that is LOL. Oh ya and try to catch that 16 lb walleye again and take a picture. I caught a monster at Pigeon in 05 and buddy and I both forgot the cameras, boy was I pissed...
Ok, How about Valemount and Mcbride LOL
Those higher highs are coming. Speaking of golden hand shakes, I just got mine on Dec 31st. I am now a full time bum. Will now be making tracks in the Whitecourt, Swanhills, Edson and Draighton valey areas to name a few...
I would like to add the possibility that as more of the float is added to strong hands that it will take less volume to move the stock up. There are probably a few retail guys late to this story but want in that saw the last price peak/correction waiting for a bottom before getting back in and not miss the next run which is coming sooner or later IMO.
It will be interesting to see how this trades today. I suspect there are a few scared newbies that bought higher looking to break even and try to get out after the last few weeks...
We have great news this morning...
Yup! We have not had a start like this since 96/97, my first year. Thanks for the link, I will check it out in detail later. Travelling to Calgary today...
You are 100% correct but with good management teams the odds get much better and with pumpers much worse. I am a investor/speculator and you are a trader/speculator. Who knows maybe over time I will gravitate towards your style...
Happy holidays and investing : )
Well so far trading has not been my style. I am more of a buy the management team and hold until the story changes for the negative from my point of view or get bought out. Hopefully we can both join Safeharbour in the $300 room... And Cameco buys me out of RSC LOL
