I dunno, still have my position in bitcoin, although I'm not sure why.
Invest in dogecoin? Why? What it is backed by other than speculation? Not to mention it was started as a joke.
I say keep your miner's stock, and increase it.
Yeah, that's something I wonder about.
If their financials are looking as good as they say, why has there been no discussions of divies forthcoming yet from them? Even possible futures ones?
I should have added, that the dollar has been losing value for over a century, not just recently.
But now, we're in an era that just added nitro to it.
By the time COOP reaches any real heights, or escrows finally deliver, the value will be cut even more. And then Joe will retroactively tax the remainder.
Whatever you're comfortable with, and subjects you understand and can get behind.
Land (real estate), gold, silver, investments you feel strongly about (look at our 13 year journey with COOP/WMI here!), food stocks, basically hard assets. One of best investments of recent years believe it or not, was ammo! I stacked a lot over the past few years (because I like target shooting, and didn't want to suffer more long droughts), and in some cases the same calibers were going for 7-8 times more than I paid! Although my intention wasn't ever to flip them, they were for me, and me only.
People need to realize our dollar is rapidly losing value now, and having cash sitting in a bank doing nothing is essentially wasting away. PLUS, the interest savings rate is laughable, while the banks/credit unions happily loan out your money and collect interest on it. Yes, you still need fiat currency to pay your bills, and operate in our society, but I literally had large amounts that I had not invested elsewhere, and had sitting there out of a reluctance to invest anything more anywhere, and realized I was being foolish, NOT wise. Hence, I started buying metals some time ago. I also have investments in crypto, but my comfort level is low with that, especially considering the US government is now serious about developing their own CBDC ( central-bank digital currencies), and how long do you think other crypto's will be allowed to operate if that comes to fruition?
Plus, I want assets that are outside, not inside the system now. Which is why PM's make complete sense to me, if not to others.
Only lightbulb moment I've seen, is the awakening by a good many people that our fiat currency is doomed to devaluation, and you best be diversifying.
Whatever, don't really care much anymore.
REALLY tired of their BS games...
Love that movie...
Well.....bye!
Curly Bill
U.S. dollar has devalued by 99% vs gold In 100 years. Mainly due to the decrease in the value of the US dollar, not the rise in gold's value.
I have a lot of idle cash sitting in the bank, gaining next to nothing in interest. I didn't want to put anything further into the stock market then I have already, nor did I want to add anymore into COOP (I'm good where I'm at). My retirement fund accounts are already at highest matching limits, therefore I decided it was time to diversify further.
Not to mention, silver has a LARGE industrial application, which will only grow as the greenie weenies take over. Plus, I just like holding shiny objects.
*shrug*
That's because the criminal banksters and politicians want the ability to print more fiat whenever they feel like it, and screw the little people having to deal with runaway inflation.
The Fed needs to go, and has needed to go for decades.
I have invested in it, and will hold. Just like COOP.
However, PM's are something the government can't easily control (even if they try and ban it again), as long as you physically hold it, so I am in serious stacking mode.
Well gee, after all these years I guess buying common and preferred stock in the pennies, and low dollars finally paid off, as I am handsomely up on this investment.
Weird, huh?
Well, thank you.
Now take your mocking and exit stage left.
Toodles!
Oh, I know what I heard, and read in transcripts.
So whatever...
Well then, you contradict what the attorneys and the judge herself said in many court sessions.
And this is why I ignore any communications from any company wanting to setup on paperless billing and automated debits.
I WANT a paper trail.
Brian, is that you?
Not this person, I been busy in coinbase for awhile, PM's and other opportunities. One of my better investments of the last few years was ammo! Which I stacked deep, although that's something I zero plans to flip, so I guess it doesn't matter.
Not sure about Dogecoin though, the creator of the branch even considered it a joke. Be careful.
Hell, have to find something other do then staring at a COOP chart for 13 years...
That depends.
People thought $100,000 was ridiculous price for a house some years ago. They don't anymore.
Diversify, is the correct answer. That means COOP (there are people buying NOW, at 32.00), PM's, all of it.
Coinbase is easy to set up. Just be careful chasing the new and lesser known options.
Don't set stop losses.
It's like dangling bait, and they can't resist.

May I guess your excited about St Paddy's day on 3-17? :)
Some people just have to comment on every post, Bob.
Gives them a self-inflated sense of worth that's lacking elsewhere in their lives.
Ignore works wonders...

Emphasis on "before".
If those numbers are in line, pretty decent jump...
"humor from silly posters"....
Someone ring?
Anyhow, I've been biding my time buying silver and crypto for a bit now. Of course with silver going crazy right now, I had to pull in my claws for a bit.
Sigh...anyhow, looking forward to tomorrow's COOP presentation...
I'm ok with the shorts getting mauled.
Couldn't have happened to a more deserving crew.
That is pretty funny.
LOL, I bet he thought he had a career boosting crime score on his hands...
Actually, it's pretty easy. What goes up, must eventually come down.
Oh, and corrections are baked in naturally.
Anything else?
"Not in our lifetime"
Well sadly he's dead now, so.....

That was said by our illustrious equity committee head MW.
I believe you're thinking of Stephen Susman who passed away.

(snicker...) :)
Stay strong sir, for your wife if anything.
My wife went through stage 4 breast cancer...and beat it. It does happen. My prayers for both of you.
You better sell when you can.
Then, no reason to visit here.
"That alone is $4.48 PER SHARE!"
Keep it, it's not worth it. Not in that scenario.
When I see this drop occurring today, I have but one thought.
This is about to blast into orbit... :)
It will be interesting to see if I receive a letter, as I owned P's going back to 8/31/09.
No offense meant at all, and I sincerely mean that.
But you're digging up stuff we discussed years ago, and already forgotten in some cases.
We're just tired of it, and waiting on the final curtain now.
The market itself is dropping, due to negotiations over Covid stimulus being called off until after the elections.
Regardless it doesn't address the question of why its a bad idea to reach out directly to the source. There should be a logical answer as to why its a bad idea..
I never said it was...
