TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - Apr 4, 2016) - Amfil Technologies Inc. (OTC PINK: AMFE) is pleased to announce that it has signed a Letter Of Intent for the acquisition of all the assets and rights, therein owned by Snakes & Lagers Inc., as well as the first right of refusal on all future Snakes & Lattes Inc. franchises worldwide.
Questions I have :
Is snakes and lattes and snakes and laggers the same thing . This wording makes it seem as thought snakes and laggers was purchased while snakes and lattes remains private ?
If Amfe doesn't own snakes and lattes why is it on our financial reports ?
This states we don't have ownership of snakes and lattes but In fact first right of refusal .
By no means am I trying to cause a problem I am just confused by the verbiage stating that snakes and laggers was acquired and rights to first refusal were bought for snakes and lattes .. I'm confused , not hard to do . ;)
Rocket ? Have you come across this ? Steve tassie on Reddit .
No one is acquiring Snakes & Lattes, nor are the Snakes & Lattes owners looking to sell either venue or the Snakes & Lattes name.
So far nothing has been sold to anyone. We have entered into negotiations to investigate selling Snakes & Lagers Inc (which is a different business entity from Snakes & Lattes Inc).
Thoughts ?

Some more on the history
Ben castanie
Snakes and Lattes was opened on August 30, 2010 by Ben Castanie and Aurelia Peynet,[4][6] at what later became known as Snakes and Lattes' Annex location. The couple had moved to Toronto from France four years earlier, and came up with the idea for Snakes and Lattes, which they named after the Canadian children's game Snakes and Ladders, from a visit to a Chicago area game store in 2008.[3] Over the next two years, they slowly built up their sizable game collection to prepare for the 2010 opening.[3]
As the cafe gained popularity it quickly outgrew its seating capacity. In 2011, the adjacent property was purchased and the wall between the two properties was demolished, adding roughly 2,000 square feet to the existing café and increasing capacity from 45 to 150 seats.[7] With 7,500 square feet of space, Snakes and Lattes was, according to its managers, the biggest board game café in the world in January 2016.[8]
In January 2014, a second location was opened, a board game bar called Snakes & Lagers.[9] Also in 2014, Snakes and Lattes became a sponsor of the Toronto International Film Festival, offering a board game concierge for interested visitors.[10]
In July 2015, The Globe and Mail reported that a sitcom, Snakes and Lattes: The Show, would air starting in September as a fictionalized account of the cafe's early years.[11]
In September 2015, Snakes & Lagers closed, but immediately reopened in a larger space across the street under the name Snakes & Lattes College in the space that was formerly occupied by the Andy Poolhall bar.[12] The new location features space for 240 guests, a collection of more than 1,000 games, and a combination of the Lattes and Lagers concepts, offering beer, wine, and assorted coffee based beverages.[12]
My nephew just turned 5 last week . He wanted hatchamoles he got 100 shares of Amfe :) he was surprisingly excited lol .
I've won 2 $5,000 tournaments .. Baseball and basketball .. Football hopefully coming this week ;) . Hitman seems to have this football thing on lock almost won $10,000 last week .. Stacking qb with tight end seems to be a popular winning trend .. And any players playing San Francisco , Cle, ind, lar .. Good luck today !
I don't make many predictions but if it stays at this level and audited financials drop this will gap like Michael strahans teeth
I agree selling rights to first refusal is a strong sell ... The only strong sell here is the products Amfe sells
Take a look
I'm chomping at the bit to see the third location open. However, wouldn't mind seeing a late October open after the cineplex game night anyway . Cineplex colab gives snakes an opportunity to bring in even more customers !!!!
Couldn't agree more .. Tried to make it clear that it's not really in Rogers control .. This company has completed an audit for Amfe in the past , not worried about a specific day or timeline audits can go long !
Hopefully audited financials ! Could be a delay its out of Rogers hands !!
I was not aware we had deals or have delt with Pepsi, plus the other beverage companies that were named .. Any idea what rotogro pr is talking about
Marry777 I see you got out of Amfe at .18 it's not to late to come back ;) you stated that we could be staring at $60 without mentioning grozone ! Appreciate your contributions to the investment community !
I also didn't factor in growth . Snakes traffic up 20% yoy .. No money spent on marketing . Crazy
I agree . Wanted to low ball it instead of over estimating. Lots of money coming in year after year without taking into account distribution . Plus I took rev numbers from the original snakes which are smaller than the new locations .
Thought I would try and put this news into numbers. I used https://www.entrepreneur.com/answer/221990
To gather some ball park numbers. All numbers as to franchise costs are my own opinion which I formed taking information and averages of other franchises ( McDonald's, kfc, etc)
14 corporate locations
40 franchises
1 time revenue events
First rights purchase-$1,000(40 locations)= $40,000
Franchise fee- $30,000(40 locations) = $1,200,000
Inventory / purchased from snakes and lattes distribution- $29 per game ( 2,000)= $2,320,00
One time payment rev = $3,560,000
Yearly rev
14 corporate locations- 3.5 million in rev per location
$49,000,000 CAD
40 franchises
$140,000,000 CAD
Franchise fee-5% = $7,000,000
Franchise fee-10%= $14,000,000
Total CAD
Low end - $56,000,000
High end - $63,000,000
Has any one here ever been invested in a company that is pre audited financials, pre listing, pre aggressive franchising, pre game changing technology (grozone), all why the legal market for rec weed goes from $0 to $1,000,000,000+ picks and shovels... Exciting month ahead as far as accomplishing some of these huge business milestones .
You haven't lived until you pick up the cards against humanity card bukaki .. And if you are lucky someone at the table will say " what's that" and if you are luckier still you will be the one to explain it to them ..
You can't be seriously shocked have you not done any dd? Several on here have posted about snakes distribution of cards against humanity . There is nothing appropriate about that game. You must have thought it was apples to apples ?
A card game that did $60,000,000 in sales ? I think that's the number ...
watch watch watch
If this hits $2 a share that means multiple gro contract multiple franchises record growth . Yay leaving at 2 would probably be a smart idea .. With Nasdaq in its sights ? What a terrible exit point .
Snakes and lattes Instagram should have some good video of the event.
The only negative AMFE has on investors . Loss of sleep, everyday is like Christmas Eve :)
This run could be because the Cineplex partnership . The only reason this is trading at such a low p/e is investor confidence I would imagine . The fact that a company with ) nearly $400,000,000 in revs is a big confidence booster in my eyes . Plus the news was posted under Cineplex so it could have brought over their investors .
Bacterial contamination is a major concern in the food industry. Even small amounts of Salmonella, Campylobacter, and other microorganisms can cause widespread illness after an infected product enters the market. Because of this, there are many guidelines and procedures in place to minimize potential contamination in food processing plants. Ozone is becoming more widely used in farms and factories to prevent contamination. Because of its reactivity, it is a very effective sanitizing agent, killing a larger percentage of microorganisms than other common disinfectants such as chlorine and formaldehyde.
Pathogens have been and will continue to be a major issue in the food industry at all levels, especially Campylobacter with its ability to spread with ease and extremely low amount required to cause illness. Whether the disease is at the farm, at the slaughterhouse, or in the transportation/distribution centers millions of people could be at risk. Ozone provides a relatively easy alternative for cleaning or decontaminating the poultry and the equipment used on the poultry, especially since it can be included with almost any preexisting aqueous or gaseous substances used in sanitation. It is worth noting though that the company should take efforts to figure out approximate amounts of ozone required, as a way to reduce both unnecessary ozone costs and unintended remnants of ozone particles or free oxygen atoms. In the long run, ozone is generally a healthier sanitation substance than most other substances currently being used in the food industry and it is well worth the extra cost for its efficiency.

Amfe . Franchising announcement coming !!
Check the business in video below !
I just want to say my original post started with "I'm a little bummed" not I'm selling not this company is fake just looking for clarification which you gave to me . Now if everyone else that jumped down my throat with that info convo over .. Thanks rocket
This is exactly why I asked rocket . I figure you could shed some light . It's not pointless if it mattered enough for me to post . Right? Or is talking about gaps and level two more important then raiseing concerns
Got an answer .
Snakes & Lattes helped staff a booth for our associates. We didn't want to advertise us as being there and take away from. their presence at FanExpo. Simple misunderstanding about our role. 2/2.
@snakesandlattes in response ..
That was easy didn't mean to cause the hubub was Hoping for a quick rocket reasonable response not a lot of people just getting upset .
Sorry to offend sorry to raise questions .. I forgot fan boys only?
I agree I had been asking snakes for weeks finally reached out to tassie . My shares are not going anywhere, but imagine a new investor that saw this went to fan expo but nothing .. Perception is everything in the pinks this could ruin that for some people ..
That's the plan .. If you guys look at any of my posts you know I love Amfe . Outrageous that something can go wrong or not as expected I point it out and everyone freaks out like I'm doing this for some crazy reason. No one has an issue with it that to me is crazy.
The fact that a CEO said something was going to happen tomorrow but doesn't should matter . Maybe no a huge deal but it matters
Reminder: Snakes & Lattes will be hosting a booth and more @ Fan Expo Canada starting tomorrow. If you are in town come check us out!
@amfiltech
I don't see how it's nothing .. The night before the event the CEO of a company said they would have a booth and to come visit them ... They had no presence . Right before that he tweeted that the roto gro sales man was headed down to a conference .. If we are looking at this logically and using the info we have its safe to assume that also did not happen .. This was the same night he tweeted blow us away news coming . Everyone still waiting .
To me , it's a big issue . everything this company is doing is based on Rogers word .. Correct ? Financials are not currently audited so that's a fact .. His word is the only thing that matters currently ..
