Why Mc Donald's? How about using something like BJ's restaurants with the option of paying a cover to enter or use the gaming section? S&L does sell craft beers and by all accounts at least according to Yelp the food is good. Is the cover charge applicable to people who just wanna enjoy happy hour beers and food without gaming? Re the gaming aspect it's a bigger market than I ever would have thought but just review an area like Sacramento in sunny California. Last point, anyone with a room temperature IQ can do a little research and see S&L has been a solid money maker so far. Now ask yourself why the sizable difference in Amfil's market cap and enterprise value. It's not due to a bunch of debt so what does that tell us?
Eight dollars is a cheap night out. What is "loosing" money? Obscure financial term only the big dogs know about? Help a little guy out.
Nope nothing on that page is applicable to Amfil. Found some violations applicable to some of your comments.
RIP? Oh relish in prosperity. Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Today reminded me why I will not sit down at the 5 dollar blackjack tables. You can coach the know it all scrubs on how to play so everyone has the best odds until you're blue in the face. Turn your back for a second and dummy is splitting 10's against a 6. Of course everyone else stands pat with crap playing for the bust. Dummy gets two 10's and smirks at ya. Dealer has a 10 under the 6 and draws a 5. Of course dummy can't even grasp the fact he took the card that would have made all at the table winners. Anyone selling today is that dummy. I'm happy he got up and left the table. Don't come back
Promises? I don't think so.
Wow, thanks for sharing this. IMO this is gold. It also highlights something that weighed heavily in my decision to invest in a pinky for the first time in my life. Myself, the Mrs. and a couple of friends have a decent amount of money invested in Amfil in part due to the fundamentals but honestly what got me here was the CEO's communications. From those and some other things I gauged him to be not only a smart businessman with a gift, but a genuinely honest person. A man straight forward and honest so much that lying to people is alien to him. He wants to great things, wants people to believe in him and enjoy in sharing the prosperity at the end of the day. Bumps in the road are expected. I'm quite ok with him sharing his enthusiasm all the way. Even if goals and projections aren't met in time or don't materialize at all, as long as they are made honestly 'which I believe they are' I am perfectly ok with that just as long as communications keep coming.
If I had the bosses ear, my two cents would be short and simple. "Boss, stay true to yourself and you will always be true to your believers. Don't ever let the loud dishonest minority get you to alter the way you do things". Maybe a few xoxo's too.
I reiterate IMO, this latest communication is GOLDEN. I would only expect chump change penny flippers selling this week and or possibly strong forces launching photon torpedoes hoping to squeeze the pps even further into bargain territory. Perhaps it's just me but I don't like selling my things to rich people dirt cheap only to watch them get even wealthier. Cheers
Oh my looks delicious. Well uh except for that thing between the two green leaves. Zoom out, it looks like a ??
Rabbit liver mousse? I'm missing the connection. Is that a hare hair product?
Why the silence cmon lets hear it? I don't even care to speculate how many here are actual ATI investors vs flippers and other snakes. Not hard to notice the gradual slipping of the pps and the deafening silence from the boss at a time when investors were lead to believe things were finally coming to a head with this audit. So what happened? 1. This whole thing has been a lie? least likely scenario I'd say. 2. They hit a nasty trip wire and things are on hold indefinitely? Mmmmm possibly I suppose. 3. The boss has finally had it up to his nose with all the smack talk and decided to shut communications down for a while? Ugh, sucky possibility I suppose. Its unfortunate though it that is the case, the conmen win and the faithful suffer. In this case it's not me suffering so much due to the silence but rather the questions I am getting from the folks I've brought on board. The ones that bought in at .17 and .19. I parked 30g here over a year ago on news of uplisting, growth, IK dividend spinoff and what my research told me. Not to mention the communications from the boss. Im hanging tough but I have no intentions of letting sentiment slowly take back every penny and some. So whats the deal? I have yet to see an honest answer.
Also note that quite a few of the ankle biters and exuberant advocates, acrobats, clowns and dancing bears have switched to radio silence or defected to the next circus.
The audit and uplist matters.
If we don't get off the pinks, all of that doesn't mean much. There are companies that haven't made a dime on the pinks that have a higher pps. Doesn't matter what numbers ATI puts up they will never be taken seriously. Can't even guess but I suspect there are thousands of investment firms and brokers who will not look at pinks. This audit and pending uplist are a distraction and a source of frustration for the company and investors. The sooner it gets behind us the better. Then they can work on that share structure and shake the penny players.
You lol'd the thought of other people's investment dropping nearly 30% in a couple of days? I find that strange on an investment site. Why would you enjoy that so much? I'd love to hear that laugh of yours.
Oh now cmon. Amateurs will tell you that will all the shills working overtime and the obvious naked short shenanigans going on there's a big run looming. Long overdue and it's gonna be a big one.
Whether you love or hate the CEO's style it boils down to just a few things. The fundamentals and another biggie for me, having faith in the boss. My initial take on him other than him being business savvy and optimistic, he is as honest as a man can be. I don't know him but it irks me to see him disrespected by some of these cons in here. Sure I've been frustrated a bit at times but I have seen nothing to change my take on him. Turns out he's even more patient than I would have guessed. Barring some unforeseen disaster ATI is heading to the NASDAQ. I hear squawks occasionally of a RS. Normally I'd cringe but I'd welcome it here n start weeding out these riffrafff. Dog bless
How many own or use vacation rental properties? One staple of vacation rental homes is at minimum a deck of cards and a couple of board games. Just pondering the idea of having two S&L games in every vacation rental in the US and Canada. Any thoughts pro and con? Silly? Wishful thinking? On the late freight? Back in the day when I traveled to events I often used VR and without fail was disappointed when I opened the game cabinet. NASDAQ bound people. Hang onto em or you'll end up a shoulda woulda coulda
Thanks MM I was really hoping the fella who made the claim would answer that question. I have my reasons.
Clarification please. "Company CEO is not supposed to exchange text with shareholders". Are you representing that as an opinion or a fact? Not looking to argue just need clarification please. Thank you
Thank you for being one of the sane voices here that keep me coming back.
I agree. Ignore button is a beautiful thing. Too bad the site allows them to post false and misleading drivel. I hear from some that it really drags down the sites rep.
Thought about it for over a year now and it looks good. I'd like to hear your expert break down and opinion on what you think the cap should be, what the company is worth and pps$. Offering up the vaguest possible comment makes one think you don't have any insight and are here commenting for reasons other than the deepest concerns for your fellow human beings financial well being. Thank you in advance and just know my decision to let go or hang on to these million shares I bought a year ago rests on your most valuable and trusted opinion. Best regards. OTL
Of course there are plenty of restaurants without negative reviews. Brand new ones with three glowing reviews. I'm leery of any place with nothing but pristene reviews. Being realistic, percentage wise there is a certain number of people who are impossible to satisfy. I'm not familiar with the Snakes review but I usually take the side of the sober employee over the angry drunk. Heck I've seen negative reviews given to restaurants because some family's kid was crying. "But the food and service was great". Someone is upset at Costco for having the nerve to question the return of a ten year old peed on mattress. Someone could put together a pretty entertaining book, "The Worlds Most Idiotic Reviews".
I'm afraid that review will be sent back for some clarifications. It's too general across the board to stand as written. Please describe in detail the kinds of mistakes the game experts are making. Please describe what makes up a cheaply made sandwich. Are all the staff standing around texting? Not likely the case unless you made sandwich yourself. The review you cite currently gets zero stars.
Ok shouldn't this seal the deal with getting this fraud launched? Being allowed to stay and stink up the place makes this site look bad. Personally I don't much care but I have others that have invested and I gotta hear about it every time some fraud drops in.
That certainly is a good way to look at it. Especially taking into account the relatively small amount of shares available. I am highly confident that in a few years there will be people slapping themselves for letting go of this one. They will tell the oft heard story about the one that got away. Of course that hasn't happened to me more than a dozen times. Started way back when I was telling my bro about a new computer company called Apple. Three years Amfil will be listed on the NASDAQ and there will be plenty of red faces from those slapping themselves for selling out.
Which company was that and how are they connected to Amfil Technologies inc?
Perhaps I added a bit on the number, I originally just glanced at it. The five transactions starting at time 1343 are likely one transaction initiated by a share holder for 300k shares with a limit. In a nut shell the order is broken up and sold or bought between broker and mm. At least with larger transactions they are broken up. I haven't tried to move 94 shares before. Often when you see a group of transactions close together add em up and often they total a nice pretty number. Of course not always the case but with lower volume like we have I lean to those groups being one persons transaction. Just my humble observation though, I'm likely wrong according to some.
Well anything is possible I suppose but I lean more to the sentiment meter sagging a bit. Someone just got enthusiastic though and dumped half mil shares.
I just read somewhere that the audit is meaningless. Humph uh I well oh darn I just don't know about that one. Awfully hefty price tag for meaningless paperwork.
Had a bigger job than they anticipated? On what do you base that assumption? Are they new at this and it's their first ever three year audit? IDK about that. Over the last several months it's been hinted that completion was near. The prs hinting as much date back to at least August. Most likely a final list of "items" are being cleared up. Unfortunately not as quickly as AMFE anticipated. I doubt a big stinker is holding completion up, I'm thinking waiting on the government. IDC how some slice it, it's obvious the outstanding fins aren't going to mean much until Amfil gets off of the pinks. I originally planned to buy and forget it but due to the delays and some annoying big mouths in here I've been actively flipping myself into a much larger position. Ya can't beat em, join em. Go Amfil!
I think you missed my point. Just saying I understand some peoples uneasiness. Certain posters in here are allowed to do things such as call other people "crybabies" or "whiners" for posting legitimate thoughts and concerns. (Not talking about the likes gg or sz.) Its not a good look and certainly doesn't help with what should be every honest investor and company supporters goal.
I did state recently that I would be disappointed if the audit was not completed by EOM, and I am. I'll sleep fine though. I also stated My trust and support of the company CEO. Turn around and I get called out for criticizing the CEO. Humph
Float Nov 2016 was approx 192 million. Sub penny territory yes?
Grow of course. Grossly undervalued in pps. Unfortunately still languishing in the pinks. Most of the people I talk to will not even look at it. PPS is beholden to MM's and a handful of share holders. One person can dump a paltry 500k shares and create quite a stir. Quite a few shares out that were picked up sub penny. I imagine it's not a good feeling for some knowing they've invested in a great company and their holdings can be manipulated by people who made relatively small initial investments. I can't imagine why some people are offended when others express their skepticism or lack of enthusiasm. People are getting railed for daring to express disappointment when expectations aren't met, without comment. Get falsely accused of bashing the CEO and or company. Not cool, IMO it looks bad. Personally I'm unwavered as of now. Only thing I know for certain, someone has been selling and it isn't me.
You're saying I am criticizing Roger? Alrighty well I have no interest in going round and round with someone accusing me of doing something I haven't done. I've consistently given him props but yeah I will be disappointed if the audit isn't completed and submitted. Especially taking into consideration his 8/29 tweet.
Tell that to the ones selling today. I suspect most are familiar with the generic safe harbor statement. I'm disappointed you'd fall back on legal protections that give unscrupulous people a decent amount of leeway to "pump" people up. Personally I take the ceo as the kind of boss who detests the idea of falling back on the government required SHS to bail him out. I guess we disagree on his style.
Agreed. Getting off the pinks is high priority. All other company information is readily available so yeah flying blind can get unnerving.
Though the CEO is powerless to control the audit completion he has the power to choose his words accordingly. I fully believe we will get word of completion before the end of the month. The guy just strikes me as the type who would not say it like that if he didn't have solid info. That said if I tell my teenager I expect him home by midnight and he shows up at 0230, I will be expecting a darn good explanation.
Looks good, would just add one. Start paying out regular dividends so as to attract real investors. Without dividends its a flipper.
Well I expect it since he wrote "we expect". Heck he's speaking for more than himself at that. Who am I to question his judgement. It will happen within the expected time frame and I don't have to worry about being disappointed. Not trying to be argumentative it's just part of my take on the guy. Again though if I'm wrong and he was wrong there are going to be some butt hurt people doing what butt hurt people do. Won't be me though, personally I gave it a year so there's wiggle room for me
My 2 cents. I'm not the only one to interpret the Jan 3 news release re corporate to "expect" audit to be completed, submitted and announced this month. That's the verbiage used in the pr and it notably differs from past prs. He's been consistent using soon, shortly, in the days weeks months ahead. So I'm expecting just that along with Roger and many others I assume. Will I throw a fit if it doesn't happen by then? No but I will be disappointed as most people are when expectations aren't met, so I understand some apprehension as we get close to the wire on that. That said I personally believe in the boss, I'm sleeping fine. One thing I don't understand though. What's up with the cheerleading section with pompoms and all caps? Some of the silly things that are allowed poke my skepticism button.
Cmon Nostradamus you don't know who was doing their past accounting? Im disappointed and now having doubts. Already regretting dumping 20k shares of Costco to follow your advice. Shame on me
Oh no worries, no offense taken whatsoever. I was just ribbing ya..
