You aren't allowed to have a differing opinion or float another scenario without being accused of having an agenda, you should know that by now. Just hilarious
So glad I dumped this. Has potential but better buying opportunity after all of this debacle is sorted out
That's not a new position they added 39k shares last quarter
Not new
Their last proxy vote had the same wording though....
I can't imagine they would give another 180 days since they've already had two 180 day periods
I mean think about it, head into the hearing with reverse split vote already drawn up gives them time to get $1. Reverse split will happen, I'm just being realistic
Hearing is not required in order to use it btw
Ya but I'm not going to stick around while they beat it down when I can just jump back in later. I'll wait until reverse split is done
Wow I can't believe this news, I really thought they were going to get bought out. I'm going to exit Monday and jump back in after RS. Definitely a huge blow
So in your opinion they are converting their implants? I figured amda was going to supply them with amdas implants. Interesting
Ya that's the one I'm talking about. What regulatory approvals do you think they were talking about?
I see, I figured the regulatory approvals was referring to that since it came before csc news. So what regulatory approvals do you think they were referring to?
Wasn't that partnership contingent on FDA though? If you're referring to that letter of intent that is
Well clearly you didn't because you would have seen the context of the conversation lol
You lost me lol. Boston said "take BO out of the equation". If we take bo out the equation then a partnership gives another company exclusive rights to sell when we have done all of the hard work and they come at the end and reap the rewards. Seems like you didn't bother to read our convo
Well after all of the work they've done up to this point I wouldn't even bother with a partnership for someone to come in at the end and reap the rewards with an exclusive license. I'd be fine with a loan
If they pay off Hercules 6 month sooner then we are left with no working capital.
He says "pursuing a robust r&d" not continue to support our robust program. We interpret it differently lol agree to disagree
Read the strategic direction in June at end of PR, no mention of further cost cutting and doesn't put r&d on the back burner like he did back then. There's only so much you can realistically cut back on before you start running a dysfunctional company (i.e. cutting accounting back). I'm all for getting costs under control but when you cut too much it's to the detriment of the company. Anyways we can agree to disagree about this lol
That was almost a year ago, I would imagine things are better now. But either way what he said a month ago is not the same as what you're posting
No it's not because that adds more delay to products that even if they stayed the course still wouldn't be available by the time herc is paid off. Revenues should be up huge and it shouldn't be a worry funding r&d. We can't delay getting new products to market, I just don't see it the same as you
I get that he said that 9 months ago but I think it's probably best to take his word for what he is saying now. I just don't think a 35% cut in r&d would be a good thing to do when we need to expand our product portfolio and support product pipeline. What do you think?
But in the update it says 7 additional manuscripts and are testing 3 different things. I mean he does say pursuing a robust R&D program so I doubt we can accomplish that with a 35% slash in costs I mean that's about ~500k right?
And he says they're focused on growing spine sales while pursuing a robust R&D program. Just seems contrary to cutting r&d, I could be wrong though lol
35% seems to be a lot, where did you see that he said that?
The preliminary ER says differently because the r&d for 2017 they seem to be pretty active no?
Nice! How did you calculate the RnD and g&a reductions? They should have said they will be compliant with herc through the end of the year with burn reduction and sales ramping huge
Maybe they're waiting to see if nasdaq accepts their plan? Isn't it 30 days or something? Maybe they just didn't want to PR anything until they found nasdaq decision
So what are the options if we don't satisfy by 8/14?
So what the hell are we going to do about the $1 issue? What plausible scenario do you see because it seems you're thinking the acquisition doesn't happen until later on now
I thought the consensus was that we would be bought out by the 27th?
Ya I saw, startup numbers seem a bit excessive though when distribution and sales channels are already in place. Since they've been working together for 3-4 years I'm hard pressed to believe that it will take another half billion to get it running after acquisition
Ya but what I don't understand is what they even need the money for. I guess we will find out what happened soon
Oh I got it, all of those shares were dispersed to the funds who owned biomet.
Yes I saw that, but it is still listed as the largest insider holding to date which is odd
To sell that many shares they would need to get zimmer involved and its Goldman not wells if I'm not mistaken
It's the largest insider holding according to nasdaq with 30,118,560 shares
Do you know exactly what LVB acquisition holding LLC is? I googled it and it looks like a Corp that was used during acquisition of biomet. And seems like it is shares held by black stone and gs mostly who were holders of biomet. Maybe Jana acquires shares off of that? Take a look and let me know your thoughts
Well I've been reading about Jana and their past over the weekend and a common theme is to force asset sales or sell the company. The latter I don't think is plausible. Maybe they want to go for a spinoff or something? I'm not really sure. With how much cash they have and money they bring in, I don't think Jana came in because of acquiring amda or that ZBH asked Jana to come in in order for acquisition to happen. I think it's just a development at ZBH and amda was planned well in advance of this
At the end of 2016 they did but added 400mil it seems in first quarter. But unlevered free cash flow would have that debt factored in I would imagine
