Well if nothing else, lots of soccer on tycsports PennyLearning. Hahaha

Didn't know Sling had blackouts on all local sports. That's not good at all. That was something I didn't like about direct tv. When I came back to them, they gave me their NFL Sunday package for free. But there were blackouts with some of their NFL Sunday package games, I would have been furious if they blacked out one game if I had to pay nearly $300.
You're not going nuts. They had those channels when they took over the old platform back in April of 2016. Anyway here's the screenshot.

Yep, they had the NFL Network, and Poker Central too. They even had the option that you could get 4 different accounts. So there was no need for parental channel blocks. You could simply load the channels for the kids, one for Jane, one for Timmy, and just type in their password, and only their channels would load. Anyway, I'll send you the screen shot of the guide that had the NFL channels etc. I hate they dropped it.
I get the ease or simplicity of signing up. But most people want to feel as if they're in control. I've always felt that the customer should at least have the option to split up their cost if they like. This is just a guess, but I think that is why they had all those different channel packages. Having said that, I feel u acamp. If it gets too complicated, it may make signing up new customers more difficult. That friggin direct tv site just got so damn cantankerous I could barely switch packages. Got real old real quick. I basically had to speak with someone in customer service.
They used to have NBC GOLF, The NFL Network, and The PAC 12 channel. But that was when they initially took over back in April of 2016. I've had my heart ripped out so many times by teams, I try not to get too rapped up in a too many teams anymore. hahaha So I just don't have to have a lot of sports channels now. All the EPSN's are just fine for me now.
When I signed up they had a forth package, Platinum, at $59.99 that included HBO, CINEMAX, and SHOWTIME. It'll be really nice when they bring the premium channels back.
Yes, sorry. The Gold package is the $35 package.
Currently the Gold package is the biggest package seletion. They used to have a Silver, Premium, and then Gold package. The Gold package always gave you all the channels in their line up, and now it seems that's the only package they offer.
Kinda hard to put it any better than that Garpeters. Thank you!!!
And it is not ole Johnny. It is Mr Falcones.
Nice way to put that rmilmian!!
I agree Ksweets101 big time. I've mentioned before that Direct TV Now are still trying to implement their DVR, and they still can't get it right. Direct Tv have continued to push back the roll out of their DVR. They are beta testing it with a tiny number of their customers who only have updated version of Firestick Ultra, and they are still experiencing problems. So yes, just getting DVR to function properly has to be immense. (I may be wrong on Firestick Ultra, it may be Apple Tv's device)
Agree with those words whole heartedly. Sometimes we all need to use a little common sense.;)
Very well said!!!!
I love the spin you put on that Tech4!!!
Without a doubt. They all will be coming back. Once they start to get more subscribers, those newbies will be screaming for those channels. And personally feel that as they have to do it to remain competitive with the other providers. People just want those channels. Yes, they are available thru ROKU, and firestick etc. But I even think hotel will want VIVA to offer HBO as well. We all see on so many hotel sites the amenities they offer and how often have we seen HBO, micro/fridge. lol. So, they will bring them back my friend. A little birdie told me so.
Welcome shindigger, I'm now in at $42.94 a month with my Flixfling subscription.
They are still adding and updating, so in due time VIVA will have everything they need to be the leader in a niche market. With the addition of the upcoming DVR, and the return of premium channels, and they are signing up 200 to 500 a week by May of this year I feel. It's just an instant dollar pps that is so enticing for so many. (Me included;)) But as you mentioned, we probably wouldn't get full price with a BO right now. The thing is, as you know, with so many people holding millions upon millions of shares, they don't have to wait for share buy back/retirements to strike it rich, so why wait? lol
This is what JF tweeted the other day:
At CES in Vegas
— Vivalive TV Official (@vivaentgroup) January 10, 2018
Oh yeah JMM67. JF was there and you can best believe he was there networking big time. Also, Verizon had a presence at the CES as well. Gothom Bay corrected me on that.
I agree. We would all love to be bought out by a big established company as that would send our pps into dollar land tomorrow. But we've got a really good product that will take just a bit more time. I don't think Sling was bought out by Dish until they were at least somewhat established. And the same thing with Whole Foods being bought out by Amazon, Whole Foods had become established in their respective market as well. Thanks for those good eyes of yours once again. lol
Good comeback GBG. I didn't read into that article deeply enough. Thanks:)
From my understanding ITK, Verizon didn't even have a booth at CES this year. I can't remember the publication, but they said it was kind of odd that there almost no OTT providers with a booth at CES this year.

Viva's constantly making changes to their Facebook page daily. The Last two were in a Latino based video format. They just gotta get it out there. Hopefully their close.
In short, I hope so too TH11. I just started looking at Facebook ad cost and it started getting really complex. So I just stopped, as that is just one avenue.
Very doable.
Exactly ten. I told myself when I got into this one i knew it wasn't going to be all peaches and cream. So therefore, I'm hanging in there. I also put in what I felt comfortable with losing if it can to that as well.
Thank you Phil125!
Thanks PB!
Morning DP. Subs will take care of all of those shares. Point blank. You are winning this argument hands down at the moment. Congratulations. With start ups like these, it's not uncommon to see an explosion in pps on hype alone, we all know that. But it can't and won't go up for ever. But aslo with companies kike this, you can best belive it won't stay down in the doldrums for ever either. Something tells me you know that. And that's why you're here day in, day out. I'm one of those people who, even though your words aren't shall we say pro Viva, I know your here for a profit just like the rest of us. I hope you get there too. The problem is when those profits come from the hurting of others. Have a good one DP.
The thing is TKane, VIVA won't be going anywhere anytime soon. As you've just stated. They have time to right this ship. So I'm really glade to hear those words coming from you. I'm even more optimistic. haha They now have the money in which to build upon a solid platform. So, yes those who will reap the benefits will be those who will jump into this once the pps starts to walk back up again. It won't be as soon as many of us thought of course, but it will. Have a good one.
I was in logistics (Trucking) for just a little over 10 years. I also saw a number of small companies sprout up with the infusion of capital from investment companies like Ignition. The last thing those investment companies would have embarked upon, was investing in a company that they knew was on a death bed. One of the first things they would do was to send accountants to thoroughly look over a companies books to see if they were on their death bed with absolutely no hope of recovery. And tell them sorry, there's no way we can move forward with this venture at this time. But if they move forward, if there are any short falls, they didn't just sit back and let that company they just infused with a ton of cash and in some instances with equipment, and new facilities just collapse. The investors would send accounts, managers, planners, coordinators, on their on dime, to shore up any signs of weakness. If they didn't, of course they won't make a dime. And in a lot of instances, the previous direction of the company receiving those funds is now totally shelved for some time, until they become profitable, or at least moving in the right direction. The investment company will also take the reigns on the bank account, and monitor when and how funds are now allowed to come out. (Not saying this is happening with Viva) No way would any investor go into any situation in which they know they would be hemorrhaging money. And in this instance dumping shares right back into market, would be beyond detrimental for Ignition. Driving the share price, and eventually the company into bankruptcy would absolutely absurd. Just hypothetical, if Viva never pulled from the available 5 million from Ignition, Ignition would never see a profit. The only people who would turn a dime on this would be have been attornies, and those drawing up the paperwork. I know I'm gonna get murdered by some who will say that Ignition did it because they saw the opportunity to dump shares at a killer % every time Viva pulls from the available 5 mill, but as we have seen, this agreement was drawn up to with the sole intent to grow the company. The bigger the company, and the higher pps, bigger the return for Ignition, and ultimately, us the share holders. That's it for my soliloquy for some time. I decided a long time ago I wasn't selling, so to everyone, I can only suggest that you do what may be in the best interest for you and your family. GLTA
Safe travels PB!!!
I agree shindigger. Loading the VIVA onto roku was easy. The only difficulty I had was with the new netgear router that for some reason changed my password on its own, and roku wouldn't recognize the password. After clearing that up, loading VIVA was a snap.
Thanks Jim, that should have said, "not a fan of the song, but I won't tell her". And not here.
Also acamp, good morning. You're an awesome dude. Been wanting to say that for few days, hadn't gotten around to it. Thanks for fighting the good fight for so many of us. Holla
I've been using them for a couple of weeks now, and the site does look really nice, and it's easy to navigate. The music selections are really good too. My wife loves that Ed Sheeran song perfect. (Not a fan of the song, but I won't tell here) And of course that was one of the videos she loved watching on flixfling as well.
NNPP, Flixfling are totally legit. I started a subscription with them a day or two after I couldn't any of the blockbusters on Viva's on demand site. I have mentioned before that I'm still with Red Box because we have free movie coupons with Red Box, and Flixfling has all the same movies as Red Box. And Flixfling will allow you one free movie a month. (The blockbusters are considered premium movies, and Flixfling will put a little wrapped present icon beside the premium movie if it is one of the free selection. In other words, they choose the free premium movie for you, lol). The latest movies are $5.99, and your older movies are around $2.99-$3.99 range. But they legit. We watched the Hitman' s Bodyguard with Samuel L. Jackson, and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
I agree. It was the one thing that I couldn't replace when I made the call to drop direct tv Sunday. I didn't realize how much thinking and planning my wife and I had to do without it. I had to go upstairs, or look at the next showing of a program and so on. It really simplifies your life.
