Yeah. We'll see how the CEO pans out. I have an open mind for 2020, but need an IR firm to keep us up to date.
FUNN
I have to say, I was hung up on WM initially because we were told WM will have the games on their shelves, but I must say, seeing the global reach in the form of Ma and Pop shops is not only showing that the reach is significant, but it's also pretty cool. Niche company and games selling at niche stores. I'm ok with that as I think the sales numbers will be very good. How good? Who knows. But better than they were a year ago at $0.
FUNN
Well, we are still waiting for news on the CEO front, so for now we still have Roger. I'm hoping we get a 2020 prospective update within the next 2 weeks to help clarify things.
FUNN
You and me both.
FUNN
The day all this audit stuff is pushed to the background will be a fantastic day indeed. I would like nothing more to only think of the audit when we are going through the 10k once yearly and that's it.
FUNN
Yeah, very true. So, with that, I'm really hoping we don't get caught in another dragged out audit process. We shouldn't given the fact everything is now streamlined, but I, like many, are in a once bitten, twice shy kind of mentality. 2020 has to be a year of proper execution to change that mentality around for the masses. Folks will forget the missteps easily enough, but first FUNN has to stop creating them.
FUNN
Yes, Roger did state the 2019 audit would be completed on time, but as we are all aware, that didn't end up being the case. So, question is, was the 2019 audit being worked on with the 2018 audit or did they just start it following the completion of the 2018 audit. We need clarity.
FUNN
And I figured 2019 wouldn't be nearly as complicated as the previous audits, but the fact we either just starting the 2019 audit or just about to means it may not get done until around summertime conservatively. Would be great to get some clarity to better understand what we are to expect from the 2019 and beyond audit process.
FUNN
Riddle me this. It was stated that the 2019 audit wasn't started until 2018 was finally filed, which was mid November, so we're talking 3rd week of November starting the 2019 audit...7 weeks AFTER it was due, if the post was accurate. If true, then it's highly unlikely the 2019 audit will be done any time soon. It took over a year for the 2018. The 2020 audit is due no later than September 30th. If we just started the 2019 audit and even with being generous on the timeline for completion, are we really believing both 2019 and 2020 audits will be completed by September 30th? My concern is we are so far behind with the audits that we'll be in a perpetual cycle of being behind as to not allow us to uplist and leave the pinks once and for all. I was under the impression that we were working on the 2019 audit also while working on the 2018. If that wasn't the case and we really just started on the 2019 audit 7 weeks ago, then we are going to have another audit problem this year too. I could easily see a scenario that has us going into 2021 and beyond still on the pinks.
FUNN
I have powder ready, but need to have one or two of my HR's hit first. I don't mind chasing a bit. Just want to see 2020 show better execution than 2019. 2019 audit is a big HR for me. That alone will get me to throw capital at this again.
FUNN
It's a bolder call for sure and I'm honestly hoping we don't get that low. Odds are we won't but if the catalysts take longer than expected, we may see another round exodus that LONGS may not be able to stabilize as most are pretty tapped out.
FUNN
I've said many times we need the HR's to start coming in. Then, and only then will we start seeing some meaningful positive movement and volume. Until then, expect continued downward pressure. Still expecting to see 0.02-0.03 at some point in the not so distant future, unless one of my big catalysts I mentioned comes through.
FUNN
Ride is over. Hope you guys had fun.
OWCP
Agree. The good news is we are much farther ahead than the vast majority of pinks. We should be on the QX already with our real peer group. Hence need the 2019 audit badly. This stock can't take another prolonged audit drama over the course of 2020. It's going to be hard enough to regain trust/momo lost. Now is the time to start hitting those HR's. New year, new story to tell.
FUNN
No argument here. The 2018/2019 missteps left a deep mark that will take time to recover from for investors to regain trust. I believe 2020 to be the year FUNN makes amends and we start moving forward. Step #1 is the 2019 audit. We gotta have it ASAP!!
FUNN
Look what speculation has done for OWC# recently. Bull run 2.0. Could happen here anytime, but FUNN has shown to be very bull run resistant over the last 2.5 years so it remains to be seen, but anything goes in the vile pink swamp.
FUNN
My personal timeline is Nasdaq and beyond. Right now, I'm just looking to get out of the pink swamp, blow past the quicksand QB, and land right onto the QX oasis.
FUNN
Your analysis doesn't account for the pure speculation piece of the pie but otherwise I agree it won't be a walk in the park to get to $1.00.
FUNN
Critical accomplishments needed for a very FUNN 2020.
1. 2019 audited fins ASAP with good numbers to settle some arguments out there
2. KTU/Panda sales figures and future runs based on success of first runs
3. UPLIST TO THE QB ASAP, but ultimately need to get to the QX also ASAP by EOY
4. New CEO that has a better ability to handle this growing micro cap company
5. At least 2 more S&L's up and running
We accomplish these 5 goals and we are golden. First step IMO is 2019 audit/uplist. So much depends on it. These are the drums I'll be beating throughout 2020 until each is checked off the list.
FUNN
I do believe 2020 will end up being the 2019 we should have had, but just needed a bit more time to iron out the kinks. Here's to the FUNN family for 2020. It's been a pleasure. See you next year.
FUNN
Let's all hope 2020 doesn't turn into another 2019. I'm hoping Roger has truly learned from the missteps. Seems like he has, but as usual time will tell. In the absence of a major catalyst, I still see the continuing downtrend of the SP before we stage a true reversal. Cheers!
FUNN
True that timelines have not been their thing, but one would expect with the new accounting format, they would have a clearer understanding regarding the completion. Just don't want to drag on only to finally get completed and then it's the 2020 audit that's holding everything up. I think we are all totally fed up with the audit stuff. Some more than others but it's been a big thorn in our side. I'm holding through 2020 regardless unless there is a catastrophe.
FUNN
Yeah. I know, but we were left hanging with the 2019 audit not finishing up this year as expected so a brief sentence or two would have been nice. That said, overall it was a good review. I like that they are owning the missteps that took place this year and have strategies in place to correct them.
FUNN
I was surprised that there wasn't anything mentioned about the completion of the 2019 audit seeing that many things hinge on that completion to be able to move forward. In late August, Roger said they were through 3 quarters, so, what's the holdup? We are using a new, more efficient system so why no audit as we close out 2019?
FUNN
There's no doubt he is long past the "trust us" stage and very deep in the "show me don't tell me" stage. 2017 was a long time ago. 2020 will have to have verifiable accomplishments in order to get things moving forward with this stock.
FUNN
Yeah, it was a good update and they recognize that 2019 was filled with issues that they will implement new strategies to correct them in 2020. No word on 2019 audit or specifically about new CEO. Games sales seem to have done well but nothing much on US sales. In the end I think Roger realizes 2019 was not what we were all hoping it would be, but 2020 does hold promise to correct the missteps.
FUNN
And would hit my target as predicted. I think folks are just fed up with the missteps and want to start 2020 fresh with new opportunities. We'll get a better understanding by close tomorrow.
FUNN
Agree. Definitely need a comprehensive update on current state of affairs. Not stuff that's going happen months from now, but right now and the immediate future.
FUNN
Yes, the yield is down and we are a flying!! Well, we are in some alternate universe anyway.
FUNN
Agree except for the last almost 3 years FUNN was exactly held to a much, much higher standard by many, so now the narrative is "hey, it's just a pink stock, what do you expect??". C'mon, juancy. I actually enjoy your posts, but really??
FUNN
Need to see verified numbers as to units sold and what that means to next the next run. If the rollout was truly a smashing success, then the next run should be able to prove that. Problem is here is that many have heard Johnny cry wolf one too many times. Now there is a growing chorus for proof/verification and rightly so. The majorly backed up news facet doesn't seem that backed up. Remember way back when, 4 weeks ago, it was expected the news would flow like sweet golden nectar?? Haven't even received my essay prize yet...11 days after winning. A New York minute in FUNN's world is a New York decade.
FUNN
Well, I have a lot into this so at the core I'm hoping you are very much right. Step number #1, FUNN absolutely needs to stop sabotaging itself. All about HR's now. No missteps, excuses, or poor execution. KTU not on Amazon or WM for Christmas from what I can tell. Huge misstep considering the scope of those two behemoths. Longs will continue to drop out the longer this continues. Everyone has a breaking point.
FUNN
Yes, agree. But, at the present time it's a bit far from becoming playoff contenders. Much like the Bengals, FUNN needs a lot of work.
FUNN
Too bad FUNN is playing like the Bengals...
FUNN
Amazon? I did a quick search and came up empty. Please verify your post for all to see and judge for themselves. TIA
FUNN
It's not what we want, it's just what the tea leaves are showing. This stock seemingly wants to retrace to around 0.02. Been calling this for most of this year. Certainly not set in stone, but despite all the touted positives, the stock continues to falter. I say let it dive once and for all, and then maybe we can start to build once again.
FUNN
I haven't even received my essay S&L prize yet, so I'm guessing 2019 audited fins aren't going to showing up anytime soon.
FUNN
Nope...not yet. Another misstep perhaps??
FUNN
Gross positives-Gross negatives=net failure 2019. Macro prediction as it pertains to gross movement of the company and stock price. I've been saying for now 2+ years what we need to get movement in a positive direction. Yes, I have been correct. No, you have not been. I still am holding a soft prediction of revisiting 0.02 before a meaningful run, providing no black swan event.
FUNN
I haven't bought in the last few months, and won't buy in the future until my criteria is met even if that means chasing a bit, so I'm not looking to do anything except read the tea leaves. My macro predictions have been spot on all year and have stated them many times over and over. FUNN cannot afford and more missteps when the market already has a very negative bias toward the stock. The games need to do well, 2019 audited fins needs to come out with good numbers, FUNN needs to uplist to the QB. The longer this goes on, the harder it will be to change that bias. Think about it. We filed for the QB fall 2018 with the hope of getting onto the QX by EOY 2018, and here we sit 1 YEAR LATER just now getting the yield sign down, still very much in the pinks at 2+ year lows. Lack of proper execution has crippled FUNN. The question remains can it save itself from being just another failed pink company? It's disappointing to even have to ask that question at this time, but that's what happens when missteps beget missteps. In the end, 2019 will go down as a net failed year.
