Again to Engines point, I'm in another ticker who's CEO is incredibly busy growing the company yet communicates with shareholders via various social media a few times weekly typically, and gives meaningful information not fluff.
I definitely agree with you that they could be doing things much better for shareholders than they are and I remain very cautiously optimistic regarding Dror and Yaniv until such time they begin to alleviate my concerns. Scum bags...possibly? Incompetent as to how to run a public company...possibly? A great product that is selling seemingly off the charts and will bring in massive revenue...likely. Will this propel us forward? I think we will know soon enough.
Excellent DD over the last couple of days acamp!! As a crypto investor, this is a good move that could pay huge dividends. The company is vastly undervalued and with your DD, new eyes can better see that in a simple well thought out way. I'll be adding more to the pot today.
Dror and Yaniv have alot to prove to me about their abilities to not only be good salesman, but good stewards of this company who genuinely are acting in the best interest of shareholders. It's quite possible they are horrible, horrible people who are looking to enrich themselves and their friends, family, and insiders, but at this time there isn't clear evidence of this. I think how they handle the upcoming fins and the next quarter or two will be very telling regarding their intentions and character.
Thanks, figured as much based upon the DD, but Oracle has a way of making it sound negative in such a way to be weary about the company. If I read their article that way, I wonder how many potential new eyes also read it that way swaying their decision to join in. Either way I'm in for the very, very long haul.
Oracle Dispatch had another write up about Amfe today. They note there is virtually no cash on the books with nearly 1 million in debt. Rocket, can you expand on this to give us some perspective?
To Engines point, just because we have a great product, that doesn't necessarily translate to shareholders doing well. Yaniv and Dror, as well as the insiders, are making out like bandits already, that much I can say with confidence. What happens to we shareholders is anyone's guess. My expectations are very low. I am grateful one of my other tickers has been taking off like a rocket for 2 weeks. I can afford to sit on this for as long as it takes.
Sorry for the confusion, thought you understood some of the ploys penny stock management pull on shareholders. I'm referring to the possibility of revenue being used to pad insiders within the company and those closely associated such as family and friends with very little money making it down to the bottom line where it can help support the pps. Basically a scam operation with the insiders getting rich. Not saying Dror and Yaniv are or will be doing that, but it's certainly a possibility given Dror's background.
Riddle me this...even if we get great revenue coming in, who's to say that revenue will trickle down to we lowly shareholders? I know it's a pennystock cultural thing for revenue to get eaten up usually through administrative costs long before it has a chance to help we shareholders out. TRT# comes to mind. In the end we are placing our trust that Dror and Yaniv will do the right thing. Engines, how do you feel about that?
Agree acamp. I really don't think Ballas has evil intent here, maybe over his head a bit, but trying to build a MJ company without traditional financing can't be all that easy. That said, this PR better be a doozy, or we might be in for a serious hurtin.
Absolutely, there is no mountain out of mole hill here...but I guess guyinairfarce didn't get the meme.
That's what's great about AMFE...very little stress holding this stock. I'm sure news will arrive in a timely fashion.
If Roger is anything, it's not a curve ball kind of guy, but alas we wait till the AM for news from the king.
Thoughts on why no news tonight?
Doing whatever it takes to capture the market without doing it carefully is like saying bomb the village to get a few bad guys without regards to the collateral damage. Make a huge mess now and worry about the cleaup later is a poor way to do business where discipline, responsibility, and accountability are keys to a successful company. Again, if it can't be done right, then perhaps they shouldn't be doing at all.
Thats right, it will be years possibly before uplisting, but it will be done right if the company addresses the financial fundamentals and corrects the strategy going forward. Quick fixes in general rarely work. Do it right and reap the long term benefits. If you are a trader, find a different stock to make quick money. If you believe in the company long-term, then sit back and enjoy the ride.
Exactly to your point which is why a R/S is an utterly ridiculous way to address the O/S. Kinda like saying that declaring bankruptcy to erase that 50k in CC debt is a great way to absolve your financial issues. The financial issues will persist until the company devises a new way to address those issues.
Uplisting usually has a positive effect on a stock, however, earn that uplisting by using a responsible buyback strategy instead of taking the easy way out with a R/S which is known to do much more damage than provide benefit and overall is very shareholder unfriendly. After a R/S there is no guarantee that further dilution won't take place thereby driving the stock's worth into the ground over time. If the company can't manage a buyback strategy to the reduce the O/S, then imo they have no right to uplist until they can formulate and execute an effective strategy outside of a R/S.
Everyone seems to be pretty gung-ho in regards to a R/S. Personally I think this is a terrible way to reduce the O/S and favor buybacks instead. How many OTC stocks have used a R/S to reduce the O/S only to redilute thus further reducing worth of the stock? To use a R/S just to get uplisted is ridiculous. Continue growing the business along with revenues and start chomping at the O/S and in time uplist. How many successful R/S OTC stocks are there?? There is a reason for that. R/S is for loser, crap, pump and dump OTC stocks. Is that what SGBY is??
I felt the sudden urge to pick up another 10k as a small token gift to myself...UBQU boom or bust!!
It seems Ballas is trying to appease longs with this PR by providing some updates and strategic guidance. As long as we continue to be profitable, I think we're golden in the long run and I'm willing to cut him some slack.
If you reduce the O/S by a factor of 100 to 50 million, you raise the pps by a factor of 100, which is to 0.30 from 0.003, not $2.00. Don't kid yourself, a R/S is a terrible idea when other alternatives are likely available and much more shareholder friendly in the long run.
Now you're talking. Our mantra on this board should be R/S is for loser, crap companies, not VPOR.
R/S are a great way to continue the dilution process but make it look alot better. Your 10 million shares initially goes down to 100k in a 1:100 R/S and the pps would go 0.30...whoopie. Then from there they can start diluting the O/S from 50 million post R/S back to God knows where. After a couple years your investment is worth a few pennies on the dollar. Give me a break. It looks like big revenue is coming in. Some of that can be used to buyback the stock at these ridiculously low prices. It is a great way for management to show shareholders they are responsible and will definitely be seen as a huge plus with new eyes looking at the stock. One of my other plays retired 47% of the O/S earlier this year and is going to be announcing a buyback program. Guess what the longs think of that...freaking awesome!!. This is a stock that was 0.01 this winter now at 0.15 and going higher. There is huge confidence among the longs. R/S is mostly for loser diluting crap stocks. Is that what VPOR is?? If so, I'll gladly take my hoard elsewhere. I want to see some responsibility and accountability from our leadership with regards to the O/S proving to we longs that this is a truly a stock to hold for a very long time.
R/S is for chumps imo. Be a big boy and buyback the stock instead of taking the easy way out. Yaniv and Dror got this stock to 5 billion O/S, they can buyback their way back down to a respectable level. As of now approx 3 million per billion of O/S. If they have been truly selling EG like hotcakes, then buying back a significant amount shouldn't be too difficult.
Right you are brother. Hopefully a a few of the longs will stick around and we'll continue this ride to boom or bust.
It's time like this having the longs around and being positive provides some much needed perspective. All aside, this company is profitable for multiple quarters. How many MJ stocks can say that? At the very least, Ballas and Co. are doing something right.
Guys, I think we are nearing the point of maximum despondency regarding this stock which usually means one of two things, either we start heading up within the next several trading sessions, or we move lower at an accelerated rate. With some of our longs beginning to exit, I fear we haven't seen the low yet. Info about the Tech stuff they are getting into probably won't save the pps, after all, the fins didn't and they were pretty good. I'm down too much on this to bother cashing out. I'll ride it to 0.00 and use it as a tax write off if need be. With you till the end acamp!!
I agree that they should take a couple of pages out of POT# and AMF# playbook as both are doing very well on multiple fronts. You would think they would be tripping over themselves to get PR's out telling us how good they are doing wuth the EG sales...or are they?
Well, not everything is going according to plan, it looks like Sessions is beating his chest again in regards to the MJ industry and looks to go after offenders per story on AOL. This might just put any reemerging bull run on hold...again.
Does anyone know if we have any indication of how the show went fron Yaniv? I would imagine if they landed some big orders, he would have tweeted about. And if not, why not?
I think until we get something substantial from the company, it will just be business as usual with not much to discuss. I expect another day of the pps being controlled by the MM's and we will end the day flat to negative per usual. When q2 fins come out, then we will be back in action. Until then....zzzz.
Thanks...I assumed after reading those couple of lines, the writer didn't quite do all his homework, and the context he put regarding the cash on hand and dilution seemed to be as a warning. I know as well as many on this board that this company is about as sound as they get, but some noobies may be unnecessarily cautious when it would be unfounded. Thanks again for the insight!
Article is from Oracle posted by tortman. The last couple of lines are written almost like a warning to potential investors.
Rocket, what do you make of the article mentioning Amfil being a target for dilution and having no cash on hand?
Cash, definitely share the same thoughts on this stock, however, I must admit that you're ability to see the details is outstanding. I've always been a big picture kind of guy so having someone like you being able to provide that insight is very helpful. And yeah, if you were to peace out on this stock, I would be about 2 steps behind you!! I feel we are very close to getting the info we need to reevaluate this stock for better or worse, although it would seem at this point, it would be for the better as they appear to be selling the EG like hotcakes. I also agree, that if and when this thing rips, it will make that other ticker look boring!
Cash, it's comforting to see you remain on this board. It's one of the reasons why I haven't dumped this stock and plowed even more into that other ticker yoy and have that has been blasting off into space the last week. In your honest opinion, do you think Dror and Yaniv can get the job done? They are selling product, yes, but that doesn't necessarily translate into a successful company, especially for shareholders. I don't trust them nearly as much as that other ticker's management, but the product thus far has kept me invested. Thoughts?
Picked up another 50k just for you acamp
I think it simply comes down to the past history of company which has not been stellar, the massive O/S, and no numbers yet, all of which keep new eyes from entering, especially when there are other stocks that are better positioned in MJ land. This may change soon, or not at all. Some stocks just inspire investor confidence more than others.
It's like landing a good paying job after college finally only to look at 300k on school loans that are now due. VPOR will have to use profits to pay back debt and depending how much is coming in will determine when, if ever we become net profitable. Then we can start working on that damn O/S. Miles to go before we sleep...
