Actually, not really reeling at all. Sold most of my position at a small loss and put it into my biggest holding and am up 11% on just my new money 1 day after selling. Recovered that loss and made unrealized gain overall. I just want to be a part of this train wreck in some small way. I'll also feel much better about criticizing Yaniv and Co. if I still have some skin in the game. And I will be a much bigger critic than I have been already.
Are you kidding?? Engines is the best this board has for comic relief...and we need it badly after the crap we are being dragged tbrough. I may not be all in any longer, but still have a stake out of sheer morbid curiosity of this thing actually doing something remotely good for shareholders. Vpor can no longer hurt me..
My statement was regarding Dror specifically. He's pursuing other interests?? Basically exiting Vpor when supposedly it's just starting to heat up?? Please...
Wouldn't be surprised if Yaniv removed the compensation from the fins. He knows he lost a bunch of people because of it, and wants to make sure this little tidbit of info doesn't sway the next wave of hopeful investors from buying in and thus cutting off his cash cow. Yaniv is a salesman, not a businessman, and would appear to continue to use EG as a means to get filthy rich while stepping on the people that helped get him and Dror to the position they are in currently. Dror exited to pursue other interests...yeah, the interest of avoiding another entanglement with the SEC would be my guess. Get in, get rich, get out, repeat.
I'm sorry, there's paying yourself a salary to live while getting your company off the ground, then there's paying ypurself a huge sum of money to live an opulent lifestyle on the backs of shareholders. I'm all in another company that has all the same obstacles, yet has 1/10 of the O/S, revenues streaming in from all directions, no toxic or excessive debt, and a CEO that not only is extremely transparent, but pays himself the outrageous sum of 68k a year. Sorry buddy, you lose. Until proven otherwise this company and leadership is trash.
Completely agree Cash. Management has proved themselves to be completely corrupt and the SEC should be all over this. If I'm wrong Yaniv, then prove it pal.
I sold everything but a token amount of a few hundred thousand shares. The final straw other than a horrible Q2 financial was the gaul of these guys paying themselves an obscene amount of money with shareholders getting shafted. Really bad management from all angles. My concerns since the get go have been confirmed. Good luck to the remaining longs, especially Cash. I hope the best for you brother. You're the only one holding this board together with your DD.
There's probably a lot of folks who figured we wouldn't enter a new consolidation period so quickly. I am one that figured this would have run up past 0.25 and then take a breather for a while, but the market has spoken and here we are at 0.17. I think there is an anxiety about getting to and surpassing 0.25 to get that uplist clock ticking. Everyone wants out of the pinkies big time, me included!!! Hopefully this breather doesn't end up being a several week event like the most recent one, but if so, then so be it.
Let me offer a perspective on AMFE that I think might help. I have a few plays in the MJ market, AMFE included, which is by far my biggest play, about 40k invested in the last consoludation period. My second biggest holding came out with Q2 fins yesterday. It was pretty aweful. Worst was the top officers were cutting themselves huge >1 million checks while the pps was sub zero with tons of debt and a huge OS. The PR today was crap. This company had some red flags, but had what many thought was a great product with booming revenues. Well, we were all taught once again that the OTC can be very unforgiven. Lucky enough I was able to dump my shares this morning for a minor loss. Guess where that money found itself? That's right, in AMFE for a bargin at 0.185. These red days aren't wonderful days, but when you have a fantastic company and management like we do, I don't even blink an eye. I have full confidence in this stock and know that this pause is only temporary and should be looked at like a huge gift to get more shares very cheaply. With all the DD out there, I simply cannot find any red flags. What OTC stock out there can stand up to AMFE??? Why is the stock down recently? Who knows and most longs here could care less. Until the fundamentals change for the worse, which they have not, then we can start to panic a bit. Until such time, relax and let our captain steer the ship!!!
As predicted, insiders are getting padded very nicely. Regardless of how well the company may do in the future, and that seems not very likely, you don't pay officers millions in salary at this stage of the game when the pps is in the tank, there is a huge amount of outstanding debt, and of course my favorite, a huge overlying OS. No spin to this mess.
Wow, that's it Cash?? So much information left out it's beyond pitiful. Basically Dror is out and huge numbers will be reported Q3. Not too much detail there to better understand this mess. Thoughts?
And to my understanding, Dror owns EG, as in Easy Grinder inc, a private company. He makes a profit off each one sold and Vpor as the distributor does also. How much is anyone's guess. If Dror walks away with EG rights in hand, then it's game over. And with what's been going on with Dror being taken off the records, seems to be a possibility. We haven't heard anything substantive about Simple Cork. Who knows, maybe a ghost product with no intention of being made. Do we know which officer banked a million dollares?
I hope Yaniv puts out a PR of a lifetime with a ton of forward guidance and very much needed clarity about what's going on with the business behind the scenes...and there appears to be alot. SF holdings??? This company is more mysterious than the ancient Maya, Atlantis, aliens, and who shot JFK. If Vpor doesn't work out for Yaniv, he'll always have a job waiting for him as a magician. He definitely knows how to make our money disappear and wind up in his account.
I expected the Q2 fins to possibly not be fantastic. I did not expect it would be a disaster for all intents and purposes.
You couldn't be any more wrong my friend. I was a long. I have never flipped a stock. I invest in companies that hold potential, but my concerns have only greatly increased for this company. I'm holding out for the PR. It has to be near perfect for me not to dump what I have invested in this atock.
I guess be careful what you wish for. Better if they didn't report Q2 fins at all. Then at least we could still speculate that they might be good. This is pretty much a disaster of a financial report. I guess my thesis of good product/revenue and bad management was wrong. Both are horrible. The only entertaining part will be the spinning of this report...if they even bother to do so. For some of you, that lottery ticket just might have went up in smoke...yikes. Never been so happy to have not placed all my eggs in this rotten basket.
Love the levity Cash...right on brother.
The problem is having the product and even the revenue doesn't automatically equate to ROI. You have to have management in place that executes in such a way to benefit shareholders. Gross profits can be eaten away in a variety of ways, some are nefarious, long before it helps the common shareholders. I would take solid management with a fantastic vision and execution plan but little to no revenues over a great product and revenues but with either incompetent, or worse, corupt management. We will soon see how this plays out...T minus 1 day and counting.
Yeah, no need for a $500 PR. A once weekly tweet on things to come or recent accomplishments in the name of transparency goes a very long way. That's good to hear Audi had a great experience and is more confident than ever. Hopefully he is a good judge of character.
Already have my tower my friend thanks to massive investments in 2009 when everyone was running scared. I'll be doing quite well regardless how Vpor does.
It's not a question of "needs to", it's a question of "should" to keep shareholders apprised of important events. Just good stewardship and also does alot for gaining trust and confidence from those that invest in your company.
That's great King...you and another board member have some inside intel. Of course, one must ask why we all don't have this intel and why Yaniv hasn't communicated this information. Maybe if that happened, alot folks wouldn't be so uneasy with this stock and management. If you have confirmed intel and not under a legal gag order, please share. If not, I'll assume you know nothing significant.
Maybe we are in great shape, maybe not. There seems to be alot going on behind the scenes that could be viewed as good/bad, such as Dror's situation. What happens if he decides to take EG with him? Don't know if he can or not, but whatever situation is/has transpired, could have a huge effect either way. Anyone with some insight? Since Yaniv didn't confirm anything about fins, I will assume the worst and initiate a stop loss to prepare for the inevitable if no fins come out.
Thanks Stewy...yeah, who knows what they pulled in for Q2. If it was under 10 million, I guess they have the option to skip Q2 fins and wait till Q3. Hard to know what Yaniv is thinking when he hardly communicates any useful info as pertaining to financials. But we do every moment of every show they attend...for what that's worth.
Has Yaniv indicated that they plan on reporting Q2 fins? If not, then I won't assume they will until I actually see them. They've gone without reporting before...
Totally agree Cash. If they follow the plan you laid out, this ticker will no longer be any sicker, but desperately need to execute to make this work. Time to fins is coming upon us by next week...if they don't delay.
No, James from MA is the rushmann
No, that James dude is me.
You did good. Now that I was able to clear up the RS talk with Roger, we can now officially drop it. Let's get back to what we do best...talk great tbings about Amfe!!
I asked about the RS and Roger put that to bed. Hopefully this will end that discussion.
I hope you're right, I really do as it has a direct effect on me as well as everyone invested in Amfe, especially for the long haul. I just think it's healthy to keep some skepticism aside to stay frosty. After all, like or not, for the time being, we are in pennyland where anything and everything can happen. The only people I trust 100% are my family and a few close friends, and last time I checked, Roger isn't one of my besties and until we do some DNA testing, probably not related either.
I agree with you, but alot of potential new eyes aren't "dumb", they just aren't as experienced, but that doesn't mean we write them off. Given the chance and proper DD, the "dumb money" could be a powerful force. A RS may scare many of tbose away before they really understand this company. Maybe a RS works out great, maybe it doesn't, but I think we can all agree doing a RS has a terrible historical track record. That much the "dumb money" knows.
Yes I did, but it's not me you have to convince. It's the scores of potential investors who don't quite have the investor's acumen you have to convince. Your understanding of analytics are second to none, but it's your understanding human psychology and behavior that's needs a little DD. Let me guess, you have some sort of engineering/ analytic background?
Google RS and see what you get. That's what many potential investors will do and when tbey do, many will be running to tbe hills.
A company doing an RS is like yelling shark at the beach...everyone wants out, except for those few that know it was only a sand shark and not too be concerned ie Rocketstocks. Human psychology at work...proceed with caution along this line of tbinking.
I was only jesting. Your insight and knowledge of the company is invaluable as most of us would find it very difficult to be able compile the DD in the same way you have and have it all make sense, especially for newbies. I know it helped me when I first came aboard. Thanks for the hard work.
Yes in price but not percentage. A 10% move will be equal before/after split but the pps will be different by a power of 10.
Reverse splits, like forward splits, is generally a play on investor psychology. Yes, the percentage doesn't change but I think most would agree that paying $50 dollars per share for say Apple instead of $500 per share "feels better". Isn't that companies do it when the share price becomes too rich. RS is viewed as negative by most because instead of getting more shares, you get less. We humans like getting more of stuff, not less no matter what the reason, RS plays to that negative setiment. It's just human nature. Also, if one has say 500k shares at $1 and a RS 10 to 1 brings that down to 50k at $10, I think many investors look at that and think going from $1 to $10 is easier than going from $10 to $100. Again mostly psychology with maybe some truth to it. I am anti RS and would only consider it as a nuclear option. I think its possible Amfe can grow organically well enough and reduce the O/S also well enough to avoid having to do a RS. Roger has shown to be very competent and shareholder friendly so I trust his judgement as many of us do. Until it is announced, all of this is speculative. Btw, anyone other than me think Rocketstocks may be an Amfe insider?? He knows way too much about our little gem!! lol
This is very good news Cash! Yaniv must have gotten tired of the rants from Engines and I...lol. This may be the game changer I was hoping would happen to help ignite this stock.
My other ticker has the best of both worlds...that makes it an investment with fantastic results already and an exceedingly bright future, not a "let's hope and see what happens" stock. If Dror and Yaniv were better stewards, I would have invested so much more than I have. Instead those additional monies went to the other company. How many other folks have done the same thing? It's unfortunate because Vpor does have great potential, but my low confidence in their stewardship caps my investment.
