Entirely25 I would like to ask you a question please. Today I visted this board for the first time and the first message I read was your "Everybody please read this analysis:" Post # 219. I then read your following post. My question is this: WHAT changed your opinion of HPON since post #219 ???
I may lose my recent purchase of 2,632,000 shares purchased at .0018 but I also see that I stand to make many many times that and if the price just gets to 1/3rd the .11 cent you quoted in or post I'll turn $20K into over $90. And if HPON ever flys to that .20 cents you quoted and I am still holding just 1M shs then I'll have a HUGH WINNER.
My question again:
WHAT changed your opinion of HPON since post #219 ???
BC
(VETX)@.11, (HQNTE) @ $1.63 & (HPON) @ .027. Remember these 3 and their current prices. ALL a BARGAIN Prices, In my opinion for you short and long term investors.
I was buying VETX heavy in early 2003 at .02 cents. VETX ran to .17 for over 800%. Then VETX backed off and based around .05, where it was again considered a GREAT BUY. It WAS, Recently VETX hit .27 cents for another 500%+ gain. Now VETX seems to have based around .10 with a very tight ask of .13 with INSIDER BUYING.
Even though HQNTE is $1.00 higher now than it was when I bought at .68 cents earlier this year and has an "E" because of late filing, still this is a stock that is perhaps positioning to move much higher when the company files, as reported, RECORD EARNINGS. This is a PROFITABLE COMPANY paying dividends which I have already been a partaker.
It is my opinion HQNT with a removed E will be well over $2 and VERY SOON.
HPON can perhaps be viewed as an early VETX and perhaps follow a pattern much like VETX did from the .02 cent level.
ALL in my Opinion of course

FONAR President's Message to Stockholders; Reports Most Recent Calendar Quarter of Unit Sales at 16 Stand-Up MRIs
MELVILLE, N.Y., May 4, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- FONAR Corporation (NASDAQ:
FONR)- Raymond V. Damadian, M.D.,(a) President and Chairman of FONAR Corporation
has delivered his annual message to stockholders.
(a) On April 29, 2004, The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, awarded to Dr. Damadian The Benjamin Franklin Medal
and The Bower Award for Business Leadership for MRI. For more
information go to http://www.fonar.com/2004_Bower_Award.htm/ .
Dear Stockholders:
I am pleased to report to you that FONAR is finally becoming the
success that our stockholders have patiently been waiting for and our
employees have been so diligently working towards.
Booming Sales and Installations
In last year's shareholder letter, I reported to you that we had at
that point sold 38 Stand-Up(TM) MRIs and installed 18. Now I am
pleased to deliver the good news that we have, in just one year's
time, doubled those numbers. As of the March 31, 2004, the end of the
3rd Quarter of Fiscal 2004, we had sold 76 Stand-Up(TM) MRIs and
installed 40. Some of these sales have not been previously announced.
A chart http://www.fonar.com/news/050404.htm/ and table of the
Stand-Up(TM) MRI sales is provided. Notice the cyclical nature of
sales during the year with the April 1 to June 30 quarter being
greatest, followed by the January 1 to March 31 quarter.

The Stand-Up(TM) MRI - The World's Only Position Imaging MRI Scanner
Seeing Pathology that Lie-Down MRIs Miss
There are three major reasons for the success of the Stand-Up(TM) MRI
product. First, the Stand-Up(TM) MRI detects pathology that lie-down
MRI scanners can miss. The importance of this feature to physicians
must not be underestimated. Certain medical problems manifest
themselves only when patients are in a particular position. Every one
of our competitors' whole-body MRI scanners can only scan patients
lying down. If the problem can only be seen, say, when the patient is
sitting up, then a recumbent-only scanner will miss it. Only the
Stand-Up(TM) MRI will detect it. With the Stand-Up(TM) MRI, patients
can be scanned in any position, including sitting, standing, bending,
in flexion and extension, or lying down. We call this unique ability
Position Imaging(TM) (pMRI(TM)). The ability of the Stand-Up(TM) MRI
to scan a patient in a weight-bearing position, or in any other
position in which the patient experiences pain or other symptoms, has
enabled it to detect pathology that went undetected on conventional
lie-down (recumbent) MRI scanners.
Dr. Francis Smith, a researcher at the University of Aberdeen in
Scotland, scanned 63 patients with unexplained low back pain on the
University's Stand-Up(TM) MRI. In the scientific paper he delivered at
the November 2003 meeting of the Radiological Society of North America
in Chicago, Dr. Smith reported that he found that 10% of the patients
had a previously unsuspected spinal instability. He also discovered
"in 56 cases there was obvious prolapse of the intervertebral disc,
whose degree of prolapse changed between the neutral position and
either flexion or extension."
This is key information. The National Center for Health Statistics
reports that "14% of new patient visits to physicians each year are
due to low back pain, and almost 13 million physician visits per year
occur because of chronic low back pain." Back pain is second only to
the common cold as a cause of lost time from work. Accordingly, it
comes as no surprise that roughly half of all MRI scans performed
today are of the spine. Thus Position Imaging(TM) provides a very
important contribution to the practice of medicine.
Regarding surgeons and lie-down-only MRIs, multiple Stand-Up(TM) MRI
owner Dr. Manuel Rose said, "Relying solely on an MRI exam of a supine
patient is inadequate. Through no fault of their own, surgeons are at
a serious disadvantage that could consequently result in failed
surgeries. With the Stand-Up(TM) MRI, the surgeon can, for the first
time, visualize pathology in both the supine and upright positions,
allowing him to accurately evaluate the full extent of the problem."
It is no wonder that the Stand-Up(TM) MRI continues to be the most
exciting and talked-about advancement in the field of MRI.
Extraordinary Quality
The second reason for the success of this product is that the
Stand-Up(TM) MRI is built upon a proven platform of 0.6 Tesla
technology, which means the Stand-Up(TM) MRI produces images of
exceptional quality. FONAR introduced high-field Open MRI and remains
the most experienced provider of this technology.
Our R&D scientists and engineers constantly strive to improve the
product. For example, tremendous strides have been made over the past
year in the development of RF receiver coils. Our ever-expanding
offering of quadrature and planar receiver coils improves the quality
of images and allow for more accurate diagnoses. I am pleased that our
staff of scientists and engineers is equipped and eager to continue to
advance the opportunities offered by the only whole-body diagnostic
machine in the world that is capable of scanning patients in virtually
any position.
An Unparalleled Level of Patient Comfort
The third reason for the success of this product is that it is simply
the most Patient-Friendly(TM) MRI scanner in the world. We hear it
from our users all the time, "Patients love the Stand-Up(TM) MRI."
What a welcome difference from the highly claustrophobic and noisy
"tube," or "tunnel," MRIs that the public has unfortunately become
accustomed to!
Stand-Up(TM) MRI patients typically sit and watch a 42-inch flat
screen TV throughout their scans. Patients anxious about the confining
space of MRI scanners and their noise, who had repeatedly failed to
tolerate other MRIs, including "open" MRIs, are regularly scanned at
Stand-Up(TM) MRI centers. These patients are invariably relieved and
extremely grateful to finally have their problems addressed and to be
able to proceed with their treatment plans. Moreover, the rising
obesity problem in the U.S. has generated a remarkable increase in
patients that are too large to be scanned in any MRI other than the
FONAR Stand-Up(TM) MRI. The record to date for a FONAR upright scan is
492 lbs.
Marketing Events
In the past, our major marketing event has been our exhibition at the
November/December annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North
America (RSNA) in Chicago. Attended by 60,000, it is the largest
medical meeting in the world. Our targeted customers at RSNA are
primarily independent radiology groups and hospitals.
Surgeons, particularly spine surgeons, comprise another very important
market for our product because the Stand-Up(TM) MRI is the only
diagnostic modality that can give surgeons the complete picture of
their patients' problems. Only the Stand-Up(TM) MRI can enable the
evaluation of pathology in different positions and under
weight-bearing and non-weight-bearing conditions, providing key
information that surgeons need to optimize their surgical results and
reduce the risk of failed surgeries.
Accordingly, we are actively addressing the surgical marketplace by
presenting the Stand-Up(TM) MRI at surgery and surgery-related
meetings throughout the year. In October, 2003, we attended the 18th
annual meeting of the North American Spine Society (NASS) in San
Diego, California. Attended by 2,500 spine surgeons, the FONAR's
first-time exhibit was the 5th largest of the 130 exhibits on the
floor of the show. In March, 2004, we exhibited at the 71st annual
meeting of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) in San
Francisco, California. Attended by 30,000, including 14,000 orthopedic
surgeons and related healthcare professionals, FONAR's 2nd-time
exhibit was among the larger of some 400 technical exhibits. Our
attendance at RSNA, NASS and AAOS has produced a substantial number of
qualified sales leads. In May, 2004, we will be attending, for the
first time, the annual meeting of the America Association of
Neurological Surgeons (AANS) in Orlando, Florida. Estimated attendance
for that meeting is approximately 3,000 neurosurgeons and related
healthcare professionals.
HMCA
Health Management Corporation of America (HMCA), our wholly-owned
physician and diagnostic services management subsidiary, has undergone
some very positive changes. With the opening of Stand-Up(TM) MRI of
Boca Raton, Florida, we now have four HMCA-managed Stand-Up(TM) MRI
scanning centers in operation. In March, 2004, our Islandia, New York
facility, the first HMCA-managed Stand-Up(TM) MRI facility, completed
over 450 scans. This center produced $1.1 million in operating income
in fiscal 2003. Our Bensonhurst, New York facility, the second
HMCA-managed Stand-Up(TM) MRI facility, completed over 400 scans for
the first time; and the Staten Island, New York facility, our third,
completed over 200 scans.
Our plan is to complete Stand-Up(TM) MRI upgrades at as many
HMCA-managed sites as possible. At present, HMCA manages 10 diagnostic
imaging centers, primarily in New York and Florida, and plans to
expand the number of its Stand-Up(TM) MRI centers as quickly as
capital allows. We are now in the process of installing a Stand-Up(TM)
MRI in East Elmhurst, New York, which will become the HMCA's 5th
Stand-Up(TM) MRI facility.
HMCA has completed the process of closing poor-performers, including
some multi-specialty practices and MRI scanning facilities, and we are
planning to upgrade all the remaining HMCA scanning centers with new
FONAR scanners. While the closing down of poor performers results in a
temporary loss of management revenues, the savings in expenses will
more than compensate and thereby ultimately add to FONAR's
profitability.
Revenues Growing
FONAR has also experienced eight (8) consecutive years of growth in
total revenue, from under $14M in Fiscal 1996 to approximately $52.9M
in Fiscal 2003. I am pleased to report that results from the first two
quarters of Fiscal 2004 show that the trend is continuing.
Total Revenues Table for the Past 3 1/2 Years
---------------------------------------------
Fiscal 2001 $42,273,000
Fiscal 2002 $43,161,000
Fiscal 2003 $52,892,000
1st 6 Months of Fiscal 2004 $31,191,000
My Sincere Thanks to Our Stockholders and Employees
We are becoming successful. Revenues are on the increase and sales are
up. We now have over 76 Stand-Up(TM) MRI sales, more than twice the
number we had at this time last year. Most of our sales have been to
multiple-unit purchasers; perhaps the most potent endorsement of our
product.
I believe that our decision to focus our time, energy and resources on
the development, sales and marketing of the Stand-Up(TM) MRI is
finally delivering the results that we have all so diligently been
working towards.I remain grateful to FONAR employees and stockholders,
especially the ones who have stood by us for so many years.
It has been said, "A rising tide lifts all boats." I see Upright
Imaging(TM), which only the Stand-Up(TM) MRI can provide, on the rise.
Interest is continually growing and among physicians of all
specialties, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, radiologists and
hospitals and independent diagnostic centers. I believe as the tide
of Upright Imaging(TM) continues to rise, it will be FONAR customers
and their patients, FONAR employees, and FONAR stockholders that will
rise along with it.
Sincerely,
Raymond V. Damadian

CNTV is UP 37% Today and RUNNING. Last time CNTV took a RUN it was all the way to $5.00. I had 3K to fill at .70 out of an order of 10K. Sure wish those other 7K had filled. I'll watch for a slight pull back at perhaps .75 to .77 and try again.
BC
CNTV up 37% today and RUNNING. I jumped in at .70 on this weekend's Hot-Line recommendation..... CNTV recently Ran to $5.00 and could be in for another great run.
In (HPON) at .037 . Recently recommended by The CHEAP INVESTOR of which I have been a VERY successful and thus pleased subscriber since 1994.
BC
bagheera (TKER) was one of many recent stock receommendations by The CHEAP INVESTOR which have done well. Here are just a few of the recent ones I took positions in on the cheap besides (TKER).
They are (VETX) rec at .06, currently at .195; (HQNT)rec at .70 and hit $2.80, now trading as (HQNTE).
Other RECENT recommendations which did well but I didn't have the cash for are; (AELA) rec at $3.38 and trades at $7.71; (EXNT) rec at .30 and hit $.99; (SPAB) rec at $1.03 and hit $4.74;
I have been a subscriber of The CHEAP INVESTOR since 1994 and can tell you that Bill Mathews, publisher, is by FAR THE BEST I have EVER seen at picking HUGH WINNERS in LOW Priced stocks.
Bill will send anyone a FREE issue by calling 847-697-5666.
Here are a few CHEAP INVESTOR recent recommendations that I have accumulated large positions in.
(HPON) recommended at .04, I'm averaged at .037
(XKEM) recommended at .06, I'm averaged at .051
A long time standing recommendation which I have traded ever since becoming a subscriber in 1994 and always done well from the current price level or lower is Fonar Corp (FONR), current price $1.30, my current average is $1.07. This is one stock that could be in double digits, see the technology at http://www.fonar.com
These are not Cheap Investor recommendations but I have positions in (CDED) at .065 and (OCRI) at .17
Looking hard at an interesting one and will post it if I take a position.
BC
(HQNTE) Offering OPPORTUNITY at $1.75 to $1.80 which is where I got back in. I'm speculating that $1.70 will hold support. The "E" is not a problem according to the company and If the company files soon the "E" will be removed. HQNT then should rally back into the mid $2's or higher.
Right now (HQNTE) is providing risk takers with a VERY GOOD BUY OPPORTUNITY in my opinion.
BC
(CDED), (XKEM), (HPON), (TKER), (FONR), EVERY ONE of these in my opinion will move higher from current prices. Some will perhaps take time, others like (TKER) & (CDED) will perhaps move in the near term.
Also watch (HQNTE), (UGHO) & (FRCP)
I own every one of these and own them all near their 52wk lows which is my personal strategy when buying any stock.
3 to consider, (CDED), (XKEM), (HPON), all at current prices. (CDED) speculation on being featured on "Lets Talk Stock" a CNBC show. Date was re-set and this could get interesting as date draws near.
XKEM has very interesting products. Do a little research and see.
HPON was recently recommended by a very successful news letter of which I have been a subscriber since 1994. I love his picks which turn out to be winners most of the time. XKEM was also recently recommended by this same news letter.
Two recent examples of recommendations by this news letter are (VETX) at .06 cents and shot to .20, currently .14
(HQNTE) recommended HQNT at .70 and hit $2.81, currently 2.10 and when the "E" is removed I think this one will FLY HIGHER..
Some may want to consider (FONR) at $1.35. See their products at http://www.fonar.com
BC
(CDED)at.07 cents, (HPON)at.04 cents, (XKEM)at.047 cents. Like (VETX), these 3 stocks could move UP from these current low prices. I own a large position in ALL 3.
Another stock I consider less risky is (FONR), see http://www.fonar.com
At $1.35 (FONR) certainly is improving with each Qt Report and should very soon be a profitable company. The company just needs to get its story out to the investment community. Perhaps one of the most over looked with highest potential stocks out there. FONAR HAS AN INDUSTRY CHANGING PATENTED OPEN STAND-UP MRI and ever increasing sales & installs.
BC
TO ALL; Stocks currently priced to consider are (FONR) at $1.35 or below. See the HUGH potential of this industry changing product at http://www.fonar.com
As you research this stock, keep in mind that this is the company that invesnted the MRI. That they were kept out of the Market for several years until recently. NOW FONAR Corp has THE ONLY STAND-UP POSITIONAL IMAGING FULLY OPEN MRI which IS finding pathology that is being missed by the tunnel type. The reason is that FONAR's STAND-UP MRI places the patient in 'THE WEIGHT BEARING POSITION or the POSITION of PAIN and snaps a picture. Fonar's logo is 'THE PROOF IS IN THE PICTURE' and well said.
I personally like the SHORT TERM potential for (FONR) as well as 12 to 18 months or more out. I view (FONR) as a very low risk investment at the current price level.
I want to make it clear that I am NOT an investment advisor. Just an experienced small stock trader attempting to buy small stocks at what I consider a LOW price and then TAKE PROFITS when and IF the opportunity presents its self.
With that said, these next few stocks would be considered HIGH RISK if for no other reason than their low prices BUT perhaps also could present a HIGH POTENTIAL for PROFIT to those who do not allow GREED to overcome BETTER JUDGEMENT.
I own a large position in each of these stocks. To give an example of how patience pays off. I accumulated over 300K shares of (VETX) from .04 to .06 cents. Recently VETX shot to .20 cents and YES I unloaded a major portion of my shares, only keeping 20K. I kept those because of the potential IF the company can secure financing. Not to say these below will triple or even how soon. Yet any one of these or all, in my view, has that same potential.
(HPON) at .04 cents
(CDED) at .07 cents
(XKEM) at .o47 cents
I would have placed (TKER)on this list at .10 cents but Friday TKER jumped to .15 and I have no clue as to why. The move may not sustain because it was made on low volume. Watch for a pull back as .10 cents seems to be a good support level and is the price I accumulated my current position.
Two that I TRADE and these are NOT near their 52wk lows, yet have made large swings which provided SMART TRADERS with potential for PROFITS.
(UGHO) which I like under $1.15 and
(FRCP) which may make a RUN Monday. See recent news.
OK, these are enough for now. I'll post others later as they meet a price and criteria I consider attractively LOW..
BC
Just found this board. Perfect fit for my stock trading strategy of 10 years now, which is to
#1. ONLY purchased stocks under $5,
#2. ONLY at or near their 52wk LOW,
#3. Purchase a LARGE number of shares,
#4. Maintain patience until something MOVES that stock UP and #5. SELL at least part on some, others just take the profits.
In my next posy I will name a few which I own and currently meet my criteria as well as a few that have recently moved.
BC
In TKER at .10, closed at .14 & last time TKER spiked to .29.
BC
In TKER at .10, closed at .14 & last time TKER spiked to .29.

Patsy, (UGHO) will scream again & here are a few others for you or any of you folks to put on your watch/consider list. They are; (HQNTE)@2.20, (FONR)@ 1.36, (XKEM)@.048, (CDED) @ .07 and this could be very close to making a run, say like NEXT WEEK;^) (UGHO)@1.20.
Also, (HPON) @.045, (TKER) @.10 and may take a while but worth consideration at .10.
I do not mind disclosing my current average in the stocks above which is, (UGHO)@1.19 recently traded UGHO several times and ready for another RUN. (HQNTE) @.68, Which I have traded all the way to 2.81, (FONR)@1.07, many many times since 1994 and ready for the next move which could be the start of a MAJOR MOVE, see the technology at http://www.fonar.com, (XKEM)@.053, (CDED) @ .065, (HPON)@.043 & (TKER)@.10
BC
WATCH VETX THIS NEXT WEEK ;^) I accumulated a very large position in (VETX) at .063.
Even though I also accumulated a LARGE position in (HQNT) at .68 and the current price is $1.66, I think (HQNT) will be MUCH HIGHER than current.
ANOTHER stock I am in at $1.07 is (FONR). currently $1.33. (FONR) is one to seriously do some research on. If you do, perhaps you'll also see WHY I am HEAVY in (FONR). See http://www.fonar.com
Don't fail to watch (VETX) which closed at .10 cents ;^)
BC
FONAR could learn a lesson from HQNT Management as to HOW TO GET YOUR STOCK NOTICED....
BC
ProfitScout, HQNT is STEADY CLIMBING & being in HQNT at .68 cents is a BLESSING in time for me.
btw, What has happened to Silicon Investor? The URL http://www.siliconinvestor.com hasn't worked for me in a couple days now.
BC
(HQNT) on the move. Bought at $.68 and price near DOUBLE. However, HQNT is perhaps just getting warmed up. We think HQNT has a lot more GAS in her tank.
Also, even though I am personally averaged in (FONR) at $1.07 and the stock price is .40 cents higher, watch FONR and SEE WHY I am NOT SELLING. In fact, if I didn't already have my position in FONR I would most assuredly be a BUYER at under $1.50.
Lastly, a little one which hasn't moved as yet but we expect a nice move just any time. It is (VETX) at .065 cents. Company is making filings in order to be listed on the OTC. As soon as those are finished being filed, then perhaps some excelent news will come out.
I am averaged in VETX at .063 with a very sizable position.

FONAR Stand-Up MRI Installations #31 and #32 Become First in Manhattan and Queens, New York
MELVILLE, N.Y., Feb 17, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- FONAR Corporation
(NASDAQ:FONR), The MRI Specialist(TM), announced today the completed
installations of two Stand-Up(TM) MRIs at independent imaging centers in
Manhattan and Queens. Stand-Up MRI of Manhattan, P.C., is located at 253 East
77th Street, New York, NY 10021, ((212) 772-2300) and Stand-Up MRI Of Queens,
P.C., is at 167-20 Union Turnpike, Flushing, NY 11366, ((718) 969-6222). The
company has now announced 32 completed installations.
Mr. Richard DeMaio, a Vice President for the scanning centers said, "Queens and
Manhattan are among the world's largest and most progressive medical
communities, where patients and physicians demand the latest and greatest
technology. We are very proud to be introducing the Stand-Up(TM) MRI to
Manhattan and Queens, allowing these communities to benefit from the unique
advantages of this scanner and, basically, to Discover Upright(TM) Imaging."
"The Stand-Up(TM) MRI has many more features than other MRI scanners," added Mr.
DeMaio. "It's certainly the most Open MRI. Patients love the machine, especially
patients who have been scanned on other MRIs. All of our patients appreciate the
relaxing atmosphere and the large screen TV they watch throughout their scans.
Approximately 85% of the time patients are scanned in the sitting position,
which I believe is the most comfortable position."
"The scanner's ability to do Position(TM) Imaging (pMRI(TM))," continued Mr.
DeMaio, "allows the Stand-Up(TM) MRI to detect patients' problems that would go
undiagnosed on conventional MRI scanners. This, of course, is of supreme
importance to referring physicians. Referring physicians are also very happy
with the image quality of our Stand-Up(TM) MRIs."
"FONAR did an excellent job in installing our scanners. Once our sites were
finally ready to accept delivery of our Stand-Up(TM) MRIs, FONAR installed them
quickly and efficiently. I might add that the futuristic and sleek canopy design
of these scanners makes them very attractive," said Mr. DeMaio.
Raymond Damadian, president and founder of FONAR said, "We are delighted to see
two more FONAR Stand-Up(TM) MRI scanners in operation in America's largest city.
The more Stand-Up(TM) MRIs installed the faster we're seeing patients and
physicians Discover Upright(TM) Imaging, ultimately leading to more and more
sales for the company."
FONAR's Stand-Up(TM) MRI is the world's first and only MRI scanner that performs
weight-bearing, Position(TM) Imaging (pMRI(TM)), where the patient can be
scanned sitting, standing, bending, in flexion and extension, or in the
conventional recumbent position. It is the only truly Open MRI where the patient
typically sits comfortably and watches a 42" flat screen TV. The truly Open
design helps nearly 100% of patients to finish their exam. Only on the
Stand-Up(TM) MRI can patients and physicians Discover Upright(TM) Imaging where
The Proof is in the Picture(TM).

HQNT - New Comments From SmallCaps site
http://smallcaps.us/Companies/AA_update/2004_02_14.htm
Update - February 14, 2004
Companies in the news -
On Monday we had another great release by H-Quotient, Inc., (HQNT). The company finalized a contract that will add more than $1.4 million to 1st Quarter revenue because it expects to complete its delivery obligations by March 31, 2004.
President and CEO Douglas Cohn said, "This contract provides near-term revenue, which meshes with our overall business plan that combines short and long-term contracts to establish a substantial pipeline. To reach this point, we first established a strong financial, near debt-free base that has enabled us to provide long-term customer-friendly terms. Such terms have placed us in a particularly competitive market position that bodes well for the rapid expansion of the business."
And on Friday H-Quotient announced another contract possibly worth $900,000. This contract includes the sale and licensing of software. Initial revenue is expected to be $250,000 and royalty revenue is expected to be in the range of $400,000 to $700,000.
President and CEO Douglas Cohn said, "This is another in a series of anticipated contract announcements."
Bill Mathews Publisher of The CHEAP INVESTOR also named HQNT 'stock of the year' in the Dick Davis Digest.
I am in HQNT at .68 and the current price is $1.04 but I personally think HQNT has a TANK FULL OF GAS !

3 to considert and watch, (XNVA)$2.19, (VETX) .072 & (FONR) $1.41.
In my view, XNVA has good potential
and VETX could make a nice run if and when the company gets back on the OTC which recent SEC filings seem to suggest their intent.
FONR near the $1.00 level has ALWAYS been good for a DOUBLE or more. Things seemed to be changing for FONAR & (FONR). Suggest investors put (FONR) on their watch list for the next few months, might be surprised at old FONR ;^)

FONAR SELLS 39TH STAND-UP MRI
MRI of America Buys Second
Plans To Buy a Minimum of Twenty
MELVILLE, NEW YORK, May 1, 2003 - FONAR Corporation
(NASDAQ-FONR), The MRI Specialist(TM), announced today
the sale of its 39th Stand-Up(TM) MRI scanner to MRI of
America II, L.P., based in Denver, Colorado. This is the
second MRI of America entity to contract for the
purchase of five Stand-Up(TM) MRIs. MRI of America
entities are planning a minimum of twenty (20)
Stand-Up(TM) MRI Scanning Centers across the Southwest.
Their first Scanning Center, located in Centennial,
Colorado, is nearing completion. MRI of America has
become the seventh multi-unit buyer of FONAR
Stand-Up(TM) MRIs.
This scanner is to be installed in central Irving,
Texas, and the remaining four centers distributed around
the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metro-plex. Of the MRI of America
entities, MRI of America, LLC, MRI of America II, L.P.,
and MRI of America III, LLC have already been organized
and funded. MRI of America IV, LLC is planned to be
formed soon. Each of the MRI of America entities plans
to initially buy five (5) scanners.
Mr. Robert L. Conger, manager of MRI of America, said,
"We are very pleased to be moving forward with our
second round of Stand-Up(TM) MRI purchases. The fact
that this new technology can detect problems that could
go undetected in conventional MRI machines makes us
eager to get these scanning centers up and running as
soon as possible. Our plans remain firm. Over the next
two years, we intend to install at least twenty (20)
FONAR Stand-Up(TM) MRI scanners in several states. FONAR
personnel have made our ever-growing relationship a very
smooth one. They are a pleasure to work with."
Raymond Damadian, president and founder of FONAR
responded, "The feeling is mutual. The Conger group's
business plan has been done exceedingly well and their
execution of it has been right on schedule. This kind of
working relationship is very helpful to FONAR because it
improves the efficiency and effectiveness of our
manufacturing and installation departments. Good
planning is good for the customer and it's good for
FONAR."
The unique magnet design of the FONAR Stand-Up(TM) MRI
makes it the world's only whole-body MRI scanner with
the ability to perform Position Imaging(TM) (pMRI(TM)).
Only in the Stand-Up(TM) MRI can patients be scanned
upright in weight-bearing postures, either standing or
sitting. They can also be scanned bending or lying down
as in conventional MRI scanners. The unique front-open
design of the magnet makes the Stand-Up(TM) MRI
extraordinarily patient-friendly. Patients can sit and
watch TV throughout their scans.

Hi Dave. FONAR is perhaps doing better than those posters on the Yahoo board think. I do not see Fonar breaking even when they report their 3rd Quarter around mid May/03 but they could get close. Their 4th Quarter is when I think Fonar will show a PROFIT and steady improve from that point on. Maybe the Markets will be in gear and the TIMING will be in FONAR's favor for that Profit event.
This could be a very good board but not many know about it. Bring on good posters with a vision. Unless one is positive about their investment, I persoanlly would move on. I think it is rather stupid to run one's own investment down like some of those on Yahoo, unless of course they are really not investors, which I think IS the case.

Evan, Take a close look at (FONR) now that it has dropped down to .85 cents.

Fonar should be report a profit for their 4th Qt which they are currently in now.

FONAR Signs Contract for Record Sale Of 10 MRIs; Deal Brings Number of
Multi-Unit Buyers of Stand-Up MRIs to Four
MELVILLE, N.Y., Nov 19, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- FONAR Corporation
(NASDAQ-FONR), The MRI Specialist(TM), announced today that a major provider of
diagnostic services has agreed to purchase ten (10) Stand-Up(TM) MRI scanners,
making it the largest non-related, single-customer order in the FONAR's history.
This deal brings the total number of independent multi-unit purchasers of the
Stand-Up(TM) MRI to four.
The contract calls for the customer to place orders for all ten Stand-Up(TM) MRI
scanners within the next 18 months. Each of the ten units will go into
production upon the completed installation of the prior unit. If the customer
elects not to purchase all ten units, special pricing discounts will be
forfeited. The ten scanner deal includes one that has already been ordered and
which was previously announced by FONAR.
Raymond V. Damadian, president and founder of FONAR, said, "This customer fully
realizes that the Stand-Up(TM) MRI is the only MRI scanner in today's market
that offers a substantial, immediate and lasting competitive edge. The proof is
that Stand-Up MRI installations invariably experience extraordinary growth rates
in patient volume. The scanner has remarkable appeal among both physicians and
patients.
"There are three basic features that give the Stand-Up(TM) MRI its competitive
edge. First, because of its unique ability to scan patients upright, it is able
to detect certain pathology that would go undetected on a conventional recumbent
MRI scanner. Second, it is now the only True Open MRI on the market. And third,
it produces images of extraordinary quality."
Dr. Damadian added, "Aside from the additional revenues that we will be
realizing from this order, a commitment of this size enables FONAR to manage its
production and installation operations more efficiently and economically. Not
only will this agreement benefit the customer and FONAR, but we're very proud
that it will definitely improve the quality of healthcare in many communities."
The first independent, multi-unit buyer of the Stand-Up(TM) MRI was Washington
Open MRI of Maryland, which purchased four. Rose Radiology Centers, Inc., the
first Stand-Up(TM) MRI customer in Florida, has purchased two. True Imaging
Medical Group, the first Stand-Up(TM) MRI customer in California, has purchased
three.
The Stand-Up(TM) MRI is the only whole-body MRI scanner with the ability to
perform Position Imaging(TM) (pMRI(TM)), i.e. patients can be scanned standing,
sitting, bending, lying down. Because of its unique ability to scan patients in
weight-bearing postures and in positions of pain or symptoms, the Stand-Up(TM)
MRI identifies pathologies that may go undetected on conventional MRI scanners.
Patients are typically scanned in a sitting position watching TV.

dave1234, The IN & OUT has been my stategy also. Not a day trader but rather a PROFIT TAKER. If that comes in a DAY fine, if it is a WEEK I'll take it also. If it is a year, I'll be frustrated but sometimes its worth the wait.
I was in (KMX) at $1.40 and sold at $5.25 in a few weeks but had I held a year I would have seen (KMX) at $34.00. That is why I say it sometimes pays to hold a few.
I also tell this little story with (FONR) in mind, besides you might get your IN & OUT of FONR within a matter of weeks ;^)

AND your welcome to your Opinion Michael. I see it much different and many many profits from past stock trades, some of which were huge winners like a recent one (KMX) from $1.40 PROVES it.
Maybe your the BUYER I SELL to after MY HIGH RISK has turned into YOUR TYPE <g>

NEVER bought (FONR) near $5 Zeev and NEVER posted I did. I currently have NO (FONR) shares priced over $1.37 and the Average is down near the current price but actually ALL MY (FONR)shares are FREE of cost and have been since about 1995. Just added the taken profits back in many many trades accumulating a larger and larger position FREE of actual COST.
Wasn't going to post here on FONR for a while until you made that $5 comment as if to say I am HUNG in shares which is FAR from FACTS. Not that it would really matter to anyone other than myself and don't know why you injected that.
.50 cents you say???? OK Zeev, Remind me when FONR hits .50 cents and I'll remind you when the price moves UP 300% and again at 500% or MORE.
btw, I been trading a few that are great TRADING stocks if you know how, they are (ELN) From $1.20, (ASPT) from $1.10 to $1.20 and (ILA) well under $3.

Zeev, just wanted to get you ON RECORD because I knew what YOU would say and I was right. I won't contaminate your thread with post about FONR, and will only come here from time to time to tell this thread how (FONR) is doing from the current price of $1.02 with your comments on record.
Oh btw, you suggest a 100% to 500% GAIN is of NO Interest to YOU. My MY, I must read this thread more and keep up with your picks because PERCENTAGE GAINS is ALL I am INTERESTED in....................and if 100% to 500% is scoffed at here then you folks must have some HUMDINGERS.....<LOL>

dave12345, see if TIMING would be RIGHT on (FONR) at $1.02. I think you'll see that it is at a VERY GOOD BOTTOM BASE. TIMING for SELLING is SIMPLE, just TAKE PROFITS and consider HOLDING a few for the MAJOR MOVES. Has worked well for me since 1994 when I started following the STOCKS and STRATEGY of Bill Mathews, publisher of The CHEAP Investor.

1st Qt Report should be released the 15th of this month. I expect them to be substancially improved and by the time the 2nd Qt Report Feb/02 I think we'll see Fonar as a PROFITABLE Company Zeev, How about YOU????
RSNA is coming up the 1st of Dec. Think there'll be any excitement around the FONAR booth THIS YEAR Zeev?
As you know Zeev, I have successfully traded (FONR) from $.72 cents to $5.00 many times since 1994. I have a VERY Positive View of FONAR and (FONR) as you know but Zeev I would like to hear what YOU have to say about FONAR and (FONR) at this "PARTICULAR TIME".
