$RBII will never have products = FALSE,
Cannophen is not real = FALSE,
Cannophen is not for sale = FALSE,
You can't get Cannophen in stores = FALSE,
Whats everyone going to be wrong about next? Closing on the YMCA or building of a distribution network? Maybe get a combo and be proved wrong on both at the same time?
Still grabbing the little bits I can down here while I can. GLTA!
Whew... they are circling lol. Looking forward to all this being another thing of the past and getting to the next round of keyboard commandos. I would imagine we get all the news we're looking for soon enough.
A little, but more just let him talk on that. Pretty much said that he's got some news on that which he will share through appropriate channels soon. From the number of vendors I observed him talking to throughout the day though, I'm sure we will have some good news here sooner than later.
"How did you know they were vendors?"
Good question...
They had these handy little special colored wristbands on that said "Exhibitor". Made it pretty easy to see who was talking to who
Amazingly not, who knew??? Strangely enough I was there early on while Karl's mom (super nice lady) was still there. While we were talking she came over to tell him good bye and how proud of him she was. Terrifying huh?
Also... you can see the RBII stock info pretty much plain as day on the table display (i'm gonna give them a pass on not having the banners, since it was the HEP launch, not cannophen, and they put a lot into branding). So... there is also that...
Cannabis Cup Trip
Looks like we got a few pics up already, but here are some more. Had a fun trip and great time talking with the PAOG guys. Lotta good things, some frankly "hidden" in plain sight, came to light seeing everything in person.
Overall impression of Karl was that he was a good and capable guy. Very happy to have him working on the distribution side of things. Only got to talk for probably 15 minutes or so because, well, they were busy AF, but it was enough to know that he is exactly the type needed to promote a product and build relationships. Looking forward to him connecting some dots for everyone here soon. Saw a lot of networking going on throughout the day while I watched like a creepy ex every time I circled back by the booth. Strangely enough... I always saw people visiting the booth and buying things... It was a pain in the ass to get pics of the booth without people in the way...
As a side note... perhaps people didn't see stock levels on the table change because as soon as one sold from the display, it was replaced. This is what I saw while talking to Karl (wasn't scared lol). Perhaps Karl understands that a full shelf sells better than an empty one? Ya know, some basic retail stuff... Give the guys a little credit here
Not that anyone gives a crap, but the coolest part for me was getting to talk to Tom for a couple minutes and gets some growing tips since now Mo said I can finally be a part time farmer. Anyway, here are some more pics for everyone to check out.
Everyone has their own strategy... Just quietly collecting here and seeing how low I can get them...
"Oh it will get lower, just you wait" (saving folks time, don't even bother responding to me lol).
And I'll keep nibbling away. I think you are correct about end of year, but I think we will start moving back up much sooner than later.
I guess we'll find out *shrug*
I think everyone is just getting ready, either way, for news on the close. Prob just gonna hover here all week till we hear something next week. I mean we could hear Friday, but who knows what time the closing appointment is. Not counting on hearing about it through a PR this week though.
About two and a half years (or so) ago, before it had a name even.
Uh oh.... Yield sign GONE!!!
RBII OTC Overview
More importantly...
Ohio Governor Signed CBD Bill
Probably news to some, but the state of Ohio basically just told the FDA, "That's nice, you think about it. We're gonna go ahead and do it." in regards to CBD. Farm bill already gave some federal protection, but I'll take an extra helping of state approval and protection.
Don't worry, it's easy. I'll share plenty as well.
Heck ya man, see you there
Same here Get a ticket now, trust me lol. Sat in line for hours last time only to be sold out.
Yield sign getting closer to dropping by the day...
I think we'll probably see something soon enough here with RBII.
Looks like I got my welcome back though lol.
Sounds like a yield sign about to drop off in my book...
Congrats, always a proud/fulfilling achievement for both the student and the family. I'm sure there will be other opportunities to say hi
Simply stating that I don't trust much of what I read here as the bulk of it starts off as speculation. I'm sure plenty of people ask you questions. I'm sure you know more about about stocks than the average bear. I'm sure you've had wins and losses and therefore experience. I just research and evaluate things a bit differently.
Trust me, some of the pumper posts make we want to stooge slap a MFer, but you can't fix stupid. Just try and sort through it. Maybe you'll meet me at the Cannabis Cup and have pull off the new vapes (or grab a beer if your not into that)? Lot shorter drive for you than me. Only gonna be there for Saturday though, so let me know.
Believe I'm Art if it makes you feel better. A couple folks here (well on the PAOG board) have met me in real life and know otherwise (literally a couple, as in the only two other people showed up at the PAOG open house a couple years back).
As far as the spamming you seem to think is paid for... I'm gonna say people are people, and given the twitter integration with iHub, they are more concerned with getting their message out there, as it's an easy way to post and populate multiple media sources.
Do I think it is good? Not really. Do I think it is bad? Not really. I think lots of people with various levels on intelligence try to influence public opinion on things out of their control hoping to make a buck.
Lol, the fact you think I'm Art shows a lot! Keep trying man... I'll just keep being stupid and soak up shares as I can.
I'm not worried about it, frankly I hope the spam keeps coming, the bashing keeps bashing, and the stupid theories keep flowing. I guess it's hard to see whats up from sitting behind a computer, and even easier to generate fear knowing that is mostly all anyone is going to do. I mean look how everyone is hung up on that article from the Sandusky Register but at the same time want to complain about how the social posts don't count because they aren't official PRs. Guess the validity of the info is subject to the intent of those commenting on it.
Works for me though, did well back in 2018. Got back in recently with .002s and now some teens. Guess that is what happens when you do real DD vs Googling. Otherwise it seems you end up sitting here crying about it for years. Eventually it will get spelled out for everyone.
Liking the new packaging tweaks. Also diggin the way they are getting info out to us. Little nuggets on the socials for the folks that are following. PR's to grow some awareness with people who aren't.
Company is finally coming together after a couple years of development, and after seeing what the stock did when it was all just wishful thinking, can't wait to see what happens now that they actually have both the clinics and the products rather than just plans. Not to mention all the advancements in the legal environment that work in RBII's favor.
Looking forward to the future here! GLTA
"I called and was told..." GTFOH... Gotta up your game my friend, maybe stick to flying taxis... Good luck though lol.
I guess it's a good thing they won't be selling empty Cannophen branded cartridges...
I'm going to say that they are fairly confident someone will see them and plaster them all over here in short order... It would be new behavior for this place, I know...
Something tells me this is more just the confirmation of progress, the real news is likely still yet to come.
No problemo!
It's pretty blurry, but you can at least kinda make stuff out. Pricing wasn't bad at all, most items sub $10, which makes the $2.50 CBD add on (bottom lower left of the pic) keep in expected price range of a burger place. They charge $3.50 to change to a meatless pattie (impossible burger) at one of the restaurants near my house, so I imagine, they will do comparable here if they get their CBD meatless pattie going here.
Only 4 tables seated, but then again that was at about 3:00pm, so not exactly prime hours in the food service biz lol.
Hah, thanks! I'm always happy to share road trip stories, but I'm way under qualified to do the stuff that the guys are doing out there.
Appreciate the marketing/PR vote Broken, but good lord, if I was their PR guy, they would be getting crucified right now for my spelling and grammar lol. Plus, trying to explain things to people who don’t understand the prerequisite information for the issue they are confused about… much less, those lacking the will to move farther than their keyboard… I’d end up like Bill Nye on HBO.
You took the words right out of my mouth... We'll see what the tweet is all about soon enough, I'm sure.
Where some are seeing a company going to hell, I'm seeing a stock that is currently cheap and easy to move. I'm seeing a company with a lot of revenue streams about to pop off, some that have even been more or less forgotten about. I see new team members doing great work. I see some nice assets getting added for cheap, and a more favorable legal environment developing daily. I see a needed service being provided, and a scale-able business model nearly ready launch.
We're more or less in the position everyone wished we were back then lol. The stock price will catch up soon enough once everything is a little easier for everyone else to see.
Thanks, it was a fun trip to Sandusky! Looking forward to hearing what they are taking about with the news coming in that tweet this morning.
2019 Road Trip – RBII
So, I just got back from a nice long road trip all over Colorado and then back through Ohio before heading home. While Colorado was awesome as always, I’m sure nobody here really cares about that part so, on to Ohio. I haven’t been to Sandusky for a couple years, but with everything going on there lately I had to add it to the trip and stop by to see what was up. I got ahold of the guys to see about checking out the plans for the YMCA they are buying/bought (should be closing this week) as well as get walk through and get a tour of the place.
Now, there seems to be the belief that this building is totally F’ed and only an idiot would want it. Someone apparently walked through the place and was going to buy it themselves before seeing what a $h!t hole it was, then they tracked down the company that ended up buying it so they could warn the shareholders how stupid the BOD was. Makes sense to me… (God I love the OTC)
Amazingly… when you see it in real life it’s not so f’ed up after all. In fact, it looks like about what you would expect a building to look like that has been dormant for a year. Oh, by the way… The whole rotten building notion… Not much to rot in these buildings. All concrete cinder block construction. There is a reason these buildings are often used as storm shelters. Did I mention that it was nice and cool in the building? That’s because the HVAC system is only a few years old and fully functional, like pretty much everything else they needed it to have. Now don’t get me wrong, they have plenty of work to do before they get it functional as a facility, but nothing they haven’t done before in other buildings. I mean, if nothing else, they have proven over the years they can build out a facility relatively quickly and efficiently.
If you haven’t seen the place before, this is it from outside. This pic is from the old listing, not mine. I didn’t think to take pics from outside because I was all focused on what was inside when we first got there. Had to cut my visit short during the tour due to some family health issues and wasn’t thinking about grabbing pics while I was leaving. That being said, as I briefly describe the outside you’re just gonna have to trust me on parts that you can’t google (or drive your happy ass out there and look you’re self, just sayin…).
The lot is huge. I forget the car count, but I think it was something like 140 spots. There enough spots, even with every bed full, for every employee and patient to park a car and still have plenty of parking for visiting family and service vehicles. The size shouldn’t really come as a surprise though, since after all, it was a rec center. It was built to handle way more people that it will now be serving, so there is frankly room so spare in this place. Also, the property is on 4+ acers (I want to say 4.4 but can’t remember). The lot backs up next to a golf course, on a nice stretch or road on the corner. All the outside really needs right off the bat is a weed wacker, a pressure washer, and some paint. The guys were talking about repaving the lot and replacing the handrails, but I’m not sure when that fell into the scheme of things. Short story though, this place is in a pretty nice location, with plenty of space to do all sorts of things, both inside and out.
What about the inside? Pics or it didn’t happen!!!
Above are some of the pics I took from inside. As you can see… this building is a complete and total turd that needs to be razed. (If you’re not catching the sarcasm, quit reading, sell your shares…). Below are some pics from the listing just so you can see what it looked like while open and get an idea of how it can look after the build out.
Now as far as the plan on getting this thing up and running and what all is going to be there. Check out the image below.
These are the plans for the build out which will happen in two phases so that they can get the facility operational as soon as possible. Now this part I’m a little fuzzy on because it is right when I got the phone call that prompted me to cut the visit short, but it’s pretty close. If anything, I’m leaving stuff out.
So, phase one is all the stuff in blue. The big blue box is kinda the primary entry, dorm, swimming pool and some multi-purpose type rooms. One of the pools will be filled in to create the dorm section (the one in the lower right of the pics I took). The remaining pool is the one pictured in the listing images as well as mine on the lower left. The smaller blue box connected to the larger one has a commons area, commissary, and I want to say the lower half is where there will be the ADA rooms will be. On the right of the pic you’ll see the small upper level. There is a large multi-purpose room up that they are going to throw up some walls to make offices in.
Phase two is in the green and there may have been another part to it but, hey, worst case I’m wrong and there is more cool stuff to come… The plan there is to cut the basketball court in half with a wall all the way up both stories. One side will remain a half court with several hoops, you know, like school when they pulled the divider wall out (if you had that). The other side will become additional dorms; one story men, one story women. If I remember correctly this will also allow them to sort of separate patients a little better in terms of their progress through initial detox and more long-term recovery.
Now there is a lot of stuff that isn’t in the blue or the green. These are things that I’m just taking for granted will be there like the racquetball courts and the locker rooms and stuff since they pretty much just need to be cleaned and bam, good to go. There are also all these other yoga studio type rooms everywhere that are sort of the same. I think one of them is staying a yoga studio, but one is turning into a music room, with pianos and other instruments. I want to say I heard something about an art room. My point is, there will be lots of things to help the patients stay busy and work through it. One of the coolest things they mentioned though was a plan to integrate support dogs. If you know Art at all, he is possibly above all else, a dog guy. One of the things he is hoping to do is get a program going to have shelter dogs that patients can learn to care for during their rehab and adopt upon graduation. Part of the whole something to live for more than yourself line of thought I believe.
When is all this going to happen? Phase one should be complete and accepting patients this quarter. They already have a dumpster on site and are starting the clean out. A few repairs have already been done so that they can finish inspections. Permits are more or less waiting to be filed on the build out and then it’s go time. The guys seem confident that they can have phase two done shortly after, but for safety sake fully complete by the end of the year.
Short story is, I’m liking it. Hopefully this has shed some light on things for folks. Rather than wrap it up right now and have people saying. What about revenues from this thing? Did you ask about Cannophen? What about CBD only Cannophen? When is it going to be for sale?
As far as revenue from this facility, I didn’t get into specifics if for no other reason than I don’t want to know anything that could even slightly be considered inside, but it sounds like the acquisition of SNB was a pretty sharp move. They are confident enough that they even plan to be able to offer some limited services for free to help the local Sandusky community.
As far as Cannophen, read the PR’s or watch the videos out there. Nothing has changed since then; they are still talking this quarter for sales. I will say that I did get to see some of the different samples and packaging. Probably a little of what the PAOG guys were talking about in there CannaCon post. They are going to change the blister pack they used at the cup to a slightly beefier plastic as well as having Cannophen branding on the foil backing now. Little details to enhance the branding, quality, and shelf life. We were talking about going out to meet some of the PAOG guys, but like I said, the trip got cut short, so that will have to wait for another time. I’m fairly sure I’ll be going up again for the Detroit cup so maybe then. All I know is after last time, this time I’ll order my ticket in advance online lol.
GLTA!
2019 Road Trip – WCVC
Hey all, made the most of the extra days off from the 4th and took a nice long road trip. Colorado was the bulk of the trip, but then I took the long way home, through Ohio. While it was mostly pure vacation, I couldn’t help but stop in and check out the brick and mortar on some of the stocks I’ve been watching, so I had to stop in and check out Illegal Burger while going through Denver. Not a bad burger joint. Get it… joint… (yeah, yeah, I know it’s not that kinda place). Here are a few pics from the Glendale location.
Anyway, more seriously, it wasn’t a bad place at all. They initially got on the travel plans because I was holding some PURA, had tried everX after ordering it online, and wanted to see it in a retail setting. Before the trip it was posted that Illegal Burger had their own water, so I wasn’t disappointed when everX wasn’t there. Illegal Water was there however, and it was pretty good.
The passion fruit was very subtle, a little to subtle for me but that is passion fruit in general. The mango was great provided you like mango, as I do. Since they have a full bar there, I would imagine it would go well in some mixed drinks, but I’m not much of a drinker so I didn’t even think to ask about that or look at the bar menu.
We (fiancé and I) were doing the whole plant-based eating while on vacation to kinda kickstart being healthy when we got back home. So, while I stared longingly at what looked like a delicious burger just a couple tables away, I ate my blackbean quinoa salad thing… It was actually pretty good though, and the fact that a burger place had veggie options / patties, was nice to see as that is growing in popularity every day. Looks like I was a little early on their CBD meatless burger though, but I go back to Colorado whenever I can. I know at least one more trip before the year is up, so maybe I’ll try it next time if it’s ready.
I can’t tell you much anything about the stock, but the food was good, the service was quick and polite, and the image/branding was clean and strong. I only went to the one location, but it is probably safe to assume the others are as good since they still only have a few locations, all managed together. If they get a decent franchise model together, they might be able to carve out a nice little place for themselves. Maybe if I’m lucky I can track down someone a little more in the know when it comes to the stock next time.
GLTA!
Looks like the actual sale won't take place for another couple weeks. Pretty cool article in the Sandusky Register about it.
6/29/2019 Register Article
Oh I know, not even worried about that. I think they are just new based off the questions. Lotta new eyes here lately. I'll post after I get back from the road trip like I did the other year. I imagine there will be little more news by then for me to get pics of.
Hum, maybe they moved it into the AltMedCenter (now that it's all part of the same company), or maybe somewhere else. Not sure on that one, sounds like Maronti might know about those details. I kinda remember hearing something, but stopped watching closely a while back.
What you're asking about there with the assisted living and what not was before the company got sold to the current folks and changed to Rising Biosciences.
Well... they announced a contract to buy on the 4th, and it was mentioned again in the video on the 27th that they were planning construction, so it probably hasn't closed yet, which is why your friend hasn't heard anything.
As far as the office, I was there the other year, it wasn't marked, frankly looked vacant, as they don't have signs or anything (nor much need to advertise their location), but I sat inside the place talking with the management team when they had their open house. Can't remember the unit number as I wasn't really worried about that. We spent more time around the corner at the Alt Medicine Centers location and then went on to visit the Parma location. Of course back then, that was technically PAOG and they just shared the space, but that isn't really the point.
Anyway, heading up there in a couple weeks to hang out with a friend who works for AltMedCenters, pretty sure it would have come up in conversation if they weren't there anymore.
I'm glad someone is getting the bigger picture on this rehab aspect of $RBII. GLTA
