Without going back and reading it again my memory says that the 10K divulged possible dilution in the future to raise capital. If the email question was a direct are you going to dilute then his answer is perfect. He can't answer because its insider trading. Or he could copy and paste from the 10K like you're suggesting and say dilution is possible in the future in order to raise capital.
But if he says that then we all spin it to mean they are going to dilute and the stock tanks. Better for him to not answer and create no speculation imo. I certainly appreciate a company that isn't going to give critical information to someone over another. Dilution is a big deal to investors and everyone deserves to know. Not just Joe
You are incorrect. If the company replies to a singular persons email and says, we are going to dilute in the future. And they do that without making a public statement, that defines insiders trading. Its no different than them saying to someone in congress, we are going to dilute nudge nudge wink wink.
Come on mate you gotta be smarter than the crowd.
They can't divulge that information without releasing an 8k or some kind of PR first.
Has anyone found or read the press release update they said was supposed to come out on may 3rd from the recent 8k? Just tried a quick Google search and didn't find anything. Anyone have a link?
Reasons why this conference are going to be different.
NUMBER 1, Freeland won't be talking and take up more than half the allotted time
In the first big conference for those that haven't listened, he didn't mention our company and instead focused on the broader MMJ market. Then when Mr. Ziv took the stage I thought it was not only hard to understand him but he did not create any excitement about the products coming. In the last 45 seconds he gave a quick blurb about what we are doing and hope to accomplish.
NUMBER 2, This is an invite conference not a paid conference.
This means everyone in attendance is there for the same reason. To look at and research MMJ companies.
NUMBER 3, I will caveat this with its just my optimism, I believe our new CEO will be excited to get the word of this product out to the masses and this conference is a great way to do it.
I believe this conference will actually create an inflow of new money because I think we will get our heads out of our butts and promote the company and what we have and hope to accomplish.
I have several questions for those more knowledgeable than myself.
First and biggest. Is it concerning that the management is only dedicated 60% of the time?
2nd is it concerning that this 10K talks about future dilution to raise capital?
3rd is it concerning that this company talks about defending there patents and products as being a possible problem in the future due to lack of capital?
I'm fairly new to digesting 10k's but it seemed like there was a lot of forward looking possible negative attention. Ill have to pull up a Nasdaq 10k and see if similar language exists with bigger companies. I'm going to guess no though.
And last I'd like a none pumper. Basically anyone other than Camelot to share where they think the stock goes now after this release.
Can we please get away from the baseless big hammer coming predictions? (Camelot)
you come across as a paid pumper.
I don't enjoy reading baseless hype.
Also just to generate some discussion I see a lot of folks in here hoping and some expecting an update on the cream in the 10K coming next week. I wondered what if any sentiment folks have if there is no update in the 10K?
I personally am expecting nothing other than the expected data in this 10K. If that's all there is do any of you turn negative on the stock? I think our next update on the cream doesn't come until the end of April early May. Just my expectation though.
Also partly because I don't want to go digging does anyone know when the phase of the multiple melanoma they are currently studying is expected to be completed? Outside the cream this should be our single biggest catalyst for this year IMO.
Want to bring up a topic that was circulating this past week.
Has Mr. Ziv been removed from management? I have over the course of the past 3 weeks sent multiple emails as well as facebook messages to the company website. Previous to these past few weeks I usually got a response within 1 hour upwards of 3 days. Just wanted to add that bit of info to the ongoing discussion, and see what other thought, if there is a management shake up what does that do to bio otc stocks usually?
Lol Iv been sitting at a loss from 1.10... 1.10 looked like strong support there for awhile. Figured I'd get to write some money off this year or make a few bucks if the cream pans out. I'm still not sure what to make of this, Iv been trading penny stocks for awhile. Never in the bio sector.
That's what I thought. Why a 50% run then? I guess I'm just not understanding the catalyst here.
Maybe I missed it in the update. But this is an acquisition of a company that doesn't have anything to do with Owcp?
You're correct the same company that 6 weeks was pumped up over 3 dollars a share. And has averaged losing 7-10% a day ever sense. Are you one of the pumpers? You never blindly hold any stock and advising people to do so is terrible.
Will you still be saying that another 50% loss from now when were at 30 cents? Are you willing to ride it down to a penny? What's your sell price? If you don't have one you'll learn like i did that penny stocks are dangerous and hoping things will magically turn around during the dump phase is ignorant
The gig is up.
You can average down if you want but your trying to catch a falling knife. This is a classic pump and dunp. Buying just allows the pumpers to get out at this point. Anyone saying know what own is a fool or a pumper. There is no hype anymore. Fundamentals say stock price around .00001
No matter how much potential they may have at the end of the day 6 months ago they were less than a penny. This is a classic pump and dump on a penny stock. I said last week you have to look at the fundamentals. They have no revenue and the cash on hand they do have reflects a pps of .000001 with no cash and no revenue to speak of and now a delayed product that everyone was expecting this quarter it doesn't look good.
This company needs another hype catalyst or its going to return to fundamental levels.
Lets think about this realistically, it never should have broke .10 cents. It was hype driven.
I do believe the stock will go higher. Just my personal opinion we are going lower first. The hype is gone. Once hype is gone stocks go back to fundamentals. I'm new to the bio sector, but I'm not familiar with any stock that has survived 10+ years with no revenue. Eventually everything returns to fundamentals. OWCP has no hype at the moment.
I want to bring a realistic approach back to the board.
Lets look at facts.
OWCP is pre revenue
OWCP has to get financing to continue operations until they launch a product although they may currently have enough cash on hand until a product launches.
The current stock price does not reflect there cash on hand or revenue.
Now that hype is gone from the stock you have people looking at this from a realistic perspective. OWCP has no revenue and won't have any until late Q2 or Q3 if at all this year. The cash on hand for this company reflects a penny or sub penny stock price until they have revenue which means we are 900%+ over valued at the moment. OR until they create more hype about another product, but hype runs are a baseless run up and eventually a stock always returns to fundamentals.
We have attracted bigger and smarter investors IMO. This is why we are down. Fundamentals say we are extremely over valued no matter what products may or may not be coming at the end of the day we have no revenue and don't have a product on the market for another 3+ months
There is ALOT of potential with this stock. But I believe there is even more downside risk than upside right now at this moment. (barring a good PR)
I have a question for all longs.
I will caveat this with I bought long this week so I'm really just trying to generate some conversation.
This company appears to be extremely low on operating cash. While other companies spend millions per year or quarter I believe the last disclosure I read stated they spent somewhere around 30k on research last quarter, barely pocket change for some other research companies. With no revenue its current price is completely speculation based on a product that we don't know the data on as of now. The PPS doesn't even reflect there cash on hand. To me it does seem highly over valued for where the company currently stands on released data about its product/s and financials.
I am obviously late to the show having only bought this week however I wonder what's keeping the guys that have been in since a penny here? It's as big a gamble to hold as it is to sell imo.
Also having kept up on the message boards but not having fact checked the info about the CEO destroying the previous ticker symbol why does that not make more people nervous? Why is this time its real but he lied the previous time?
Just wondered what the thought process was from folks that are smarter than myself.
Good morning! I am a potential investor and had a couple of questions that I wasn't easily able to find on my own. I was hopeful that you would be able to provide some guidance.
First my understanding is that you have no debt, but I wasn't able to find how much cash on hand your company holds, which is typically one of the more important factors for me to invest in a pre revenue company. Where can I find this information?
2nd question I had was I read that your research budget is $400k per year. With most pharmacy companies dumping millions of dollars into R&D why is your companies budget, in my opinon, rather low? I understand that you're currently pre-revenue and wondered what the plan was going forward in regards to the research budget?
Lastly I wondered if you would be able to tell me how you plan on getting your psoriasis cream marketed so people know it's an option? Without heavily marketing it now, how do you plan to generate revenue in Q2 or Q3 if no one knows the product exists? I know it's early right now but do you have or are you in negotiations with anyone for pre orders of the cream?
