Another 450K warrants exercised. New 3-year consulting deal for $500 plus 250K warrants at $1.55US...
http://www.stockhouse.com/news/press-releases/2018/05/28/lexaria-announces-exercises-of-existing-warrants-enters-consulting-agreement
Consulting deal is with Nuka Enterprises (1906 Chocolate guys)...
https://webfiles.thecse.com/2018_05_25_Form_9_-_Notice_of_Proposed_Issuance.pdf?DXlHYfZbLbsY5l3EkF5eLFciOLSiR7fL
Anyone feel like the price is being pegged at the 2 buck CAN? The trading is very weird. They won't let it collapse or run.
I'm thinking some sort of deal is imminent based on the current price. My follow-up guess is that it's all waiting for the "conversion" vote scheduled for June 13th. Once that passes... c ya.
Check out these asses out of BC. WTF with that name.
https://www.dhydratech.com/
Hey Knife...
That looming deadline for warrant conversion has been eating at me for some time. I'm not on the sidelines, but expected the price to still be lower at this stage. However, I couldn't shake the feeling that someone was/is slowly lapping up shares at this level with no fear of the warrants.
So you sent me on a search of the related private placement doc. They name the holders:
https://webfiles.thecse.com/2016_09_04_Form_9_-_Notice_of_Comple_._Placement_Lexaria_FINAL_REVISED.doc.pdf
Beaucoup and Howard Clarke are now off the list, having exercised their warrants.
I noticed that a Courtney E. Betty is holding 833.3K of them. That is most likely the CEO of Timeless Herbal Care in Jamaica, which has a white label agreement with Lexaria.
I'd suggest that Courtney probably won't flood the market with shares, even upon exercise of his warrants. So I am reducing the number to worry about accordingly.
And Marques Colston looks to be this guy: Dynasty Digital CEO Marques Colston on scoring in multiple fields of sports, technology and bioscience
Another guy working with Lexaria. I'm gonna suggest another 833.3K shares are solid.
I checked the others names/companies. None really stand out like the above two, but they don't strike me as scary retail newb share dumpees. At most, this leftover group has just over 1M warrants between them.
I'll leave it to you to decide whether it changes your re-entry timing and price targets.
I'm sure a few people are watching the same upward channel while he prays for it to collapse.
Maybe he'll have his day tomorrow or next week, but the upward support is still there for now.
First time I've seen one of my Lexaria links getting love on reddit weedstocks board.
https://www.reddit.com/r/weedstocks/
Usually the links are relegated to page 3 or 4 within 24 hours of posting. At least there are some eyeballs on the ticker at moment.
Feel free to give it more love and comments. :)
Ya, as a wholesaler they would be the tobacco version of the Cannfections chocolate guys and the GP Holdings beverage guys. Only on a worldwide scale... and they are now in the hemp and cannabis biz.
^above is a reply to MB's last post. messed that up.
I had stopped at $1.47CAN and bought a few back lower. Still enjoying the ride. AOI got side-swiped by Philip Morris tanking... but I'm still hoping that they are guys that will discover Lexaria.
when should I start feeling bad about unloading a half mil shares in order to "diversify"? Who taught me that stupid word? lol
Exactly. Seems to be a groundwork layer being put in place... where they can white label for a lot more than a handful of licensed companies.
Hit $2.07 on Canadian side. Daily average broken in less than hour.
I just caught this NeutriSci news release from a couple weeks ago...
http://neutrisci.com/neutrisci-complete-share-settlement/
It gives me a bit of hope on a couple fronts. The tech works and people are clearly paying for it, including cash strapped start-ups. The price was set at a premium to what the shares are currently trading at. So I'll guess that they weren't immediately disposed of, and that Lexaria retains a little investment in NeutriSci for the time being. If Chris can collect shares instead of cash, from the various start-ups, I'm all for it.
Has anyone looked closer at the NSHS patent?
http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsrchnum.htm&r=1&f=G&l=50&s1=9925149.PN.&OS=PN/9925149&RS=PN/9925149
Can't really make heads or tails out of their patent, but from my newb understanding of patents, those with percentages and ratios included are super-weak. Because anyone can tweak a single ratio in their similar product. On a prelim reading, I don't see how it relates or competes with Lexaria. I also don't see it as a strong patent.
Any thoughts from Lexaria fans or from the company itself? I'd ask Chris Bunka to look at that patent and if useful, just better it.
In regards to the current price, I stopped selling at 1.47 CAN. Barely watching. We're well oversold on any timeline between 1-month to 1-year. I've taken a nice hit since, but I'm staying long and will be bottom feeding if I find more funds.
It was abandoned. The Aurora takeover derailed it. It's mentioned in past financials. They used some vagueness about parties still talking amicably, but sounded over.
Just bought 3K LXRP shares at 95. First buy in forever. Took a while to fill. Still have 2K shares sitting on the bid at .955 with no takers.
Might go lower, but oversold on all charts up to yearly. Calling bottom for today.
On March 2, 2018 they filed their monthly report on the CSE site...
https://webfiles.thecse.com/2018_02_28_Form_7_Monthly_Progress_Report_Lexaria_-_February_2018.pdf?HnaEOW5SmhWOUwACG6z1ShunHVrMtI3z=
It says the same thing. I don't see any other filing and the shares are still clearly trading on both sides of the border under the same tickers as always. I'm staying with "need shareholder approval" for now.
going off the press release from January...
i'm behind and not sure what you're referring to. Don't shareholders actually have to vote on the re-domicile before it can take place?
I agree(d) and am still holding over a quarter mil shares. So I'm not on the sidelines at all. Just cushioning the hit to my net worth as it slides, in order to hopefully rotate back in before an upswing. Now that I see a lot of griping/capitulation style selling today... I'm intrigued by the ticker again.
Think about how much Bunka's market value of shares has slid in the past 3 months. Maybe he'll speed up that re-domicile thing for us! Until then, no rush. :)
There's a disconnect going on. I've been plowing a ton of cash in this one while the market figures it out. Been shifting funds from Lexaria... so take some solace over on that board. It's not just the warrant holders that have been selling! :) I need that ticker to stay quiet or dropping until I can rotate back (still own a ton there).
This auto generated article puts the fundamental value of AOI at $23.50. https://www.forbes.com/sites/greatspeculations/2018/03/23/what-is-alliance-one-internationals-fundamental-value/
The article has no mention of the cannabis or hemp aspect of the biz. It doesn't discuss the great news out of the states on the hemp bill that McConnell is proposing. In that case, I'll take the base valuation any time.
Basically I think there are two charts being played. The one that shows a gap at 13-16 that needs to fill. The second is the one that considers it a breakaway gap and looks forward. So I'll guess that the ticker is attracting a lot of shorters beating it down. Some of the funds that have been in for a long time might also want to capture some profits before quarter end. In the end... all guesses.
I'm happy to wait until year end fins are out. Fresh year starting next week!
wow. a straggler from the land of Golden Leaf Holdings and their 850M share float. lol
sorry, I have a perma-ban from Stockhouse after taking on Chris Parry, Stockhouse and the pumpers from hell on that ticker a couple years back.
Sorry... no chance with your connection. It's Goldleaf Pharm Inc. The only connection possible is a trademark infringement complaint if the Oregon guys ever show up. :)
AOI case study. Pages 78 to 91 in the newest CANNAINVESTOR magazine.

new podcast with Bunka...
Chris Bunka, CEO of Lexaria Bioscience Corp., Returns to Uptick Newswire's "Stock Day" Podcast with Everett Jolly to Discuss New Products and Company Evolution
Bunka actually mentions 1906 chocolate. That's the first time I know of that the connection has been made public, other than through us discussing on these message boards.
So I'm back to being bored on this ticker again? lol
My focus is currently 90% on $AOI. Can we get Chris to just sell off to them? That way I can't lose on either end. :)
been ignoring this ticker for some time and only got curious tonight with Biolog after reading the description in the Form 7.
Looks like a Seeking Alpha write-up is coming soon. super-trades has 75K twitter followers.
https://seekingalpha.com/instablog/94532-super-trades/5123740-aoi-transformed-global-cannabis-company-2_5-million-float-200m-market-cap
The delays on this ticker have been giving me lessons in patience... but I'd be super pissed if Alliance One International (AOI) isn't planning something with Lexaria. First tobacco company into the MJ space, buying two Canadian companies and an American hemp grower.
Publicly-Traded Global Tobacco Company Bets on Cannabis
Yuppers.
I normally don't 'chase', but I'm loading on this one in anticipation of the 10 year chart breakout.
If you're not a pot trader, get ready for when the masses (and mostly us Canadians) learn about this one. Regardless of debt, this company dwarfs anything in the cannabis space. Should be a pleasant surprise for any long holders.
seems he's not with Eight Capital anymore. They had a housecleaning last summer after messing up the CBW raise.
http://archive.is/n1qZO
weird... I can't see any of that trading data on the CSE site.
Eight Capital divesting pp shares? I have no theories.
Opens easily on this end.
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1348362/000106299318000349/exhibit10-1.htm
Most interesting part...
ours got obliterated. We're at 2.23.
43K share wall at $2.20 on the Canadian side, slowly getting chipped away. Down to 34K at moment.
If it falls, could be a fun Friday.
I follow every Canadian cannabis stock out there. Inmed just sits on my watchlist. Probably last traded it when it was in the teens. They have cash but wasn't sure about it value wise (same can be said for LXX/LXRP by others).
The connection and charts are intriguing. Thanks.
Sorry, didn't hit reply properly... this is a response to MB's last message.
So that was the guy, formerly of Dundee/Eight Capital.
He was in on the previous financing for 500K shares plus warrants.
http://thecse.com/sites/default/files/2017_03_30_Form_9_-_Amended_Notice_of_Completed_Private_Placement.pdf
they scored a manufacturer of chocolate that probably has a good distribution network and provides white label services.
I'd assume that LPs would be able to subcontract the manufacturing of whatever item they want to brand. If there are other licensing needs once edibles are allowed, I'd hope a company with decades of experience will be able to get to front of the line.
Looks like a really good stepping stone is now in place.
Seems like the company was just started up in December for this purpose.
The address on their trademark app is the same as...
http://www.splendidchocolates.com/
I'm going with Splendid Chocolates Ltd. out of Montreal, Quebec as the guys.
