Good post.
i believed it too my friend and lost well over $30000. i have only now liquidated this really badly managed company. I am very angry because Tom simply spewed information that was not true. his resume spoke volumes but he clearly did not live up to his reputation on this stock.
I really don't know if there is a coarse of action to take as i feel as if i was lied too, over and over again. i completely understand my responsibility in getting into a pinky, and will not again, however i too believe Tom plays a role in many people loosing money here.
Your thoughts?
Could someone please explain in short what the hype is all about. thank you.
if a ceo is sending out these messages, and none of them turn out to be true, is that not fraudulent? WE as share holders read them and our sense o the company is that it is doing something, growing, but indeed that is not the case. Is it legal for a ceo to send out false PR's?
any thoughts on this: Virtualbroker, where i bought my BVTk did not notify me a week ago, after i thought i sold off all my shares, to tell me they only take 1,000,000 shares per day in a sale.
I had to hound them to figure out why my account had not settled. Any thoughts on how to respond to these guys? Very bad business.
BVTK has been one frickin nightmare after another!
with all due respect, dont' you think Tom has already 'f'd this up? it's going down and there is not an iota of evidence to show it has life. if there is i'm missing it and just thankful i sold all my shares last week. got so tired of the BS
I can breathe freely. Just sold my entire lot. Lost $30,000 on this very sad stock.
Much luck to all. It was a huge education on his hub, one i hope to never revisit :)
Profit to all!
i certainly hope so. Like many of you i have been holding this stock for a long time, watching as good news came out with little movement. I am a tad jaded.
I've been investing in marijuana stocks for a while now and thank God have done pretty decently. I do believe ICNB will benefit from a relationship with a MJ company - i.e. infused wines - as this concept/product is hugely en vogue.
It will be interesting however to see if in fact booze/spritits/wines etc. infused will actually be a hot product once they hit the shelves. as i am not a drinker please explain to me: drinking wine with mj, will that create a better taste? will it create a higher high?
ICNB should go higher based on this news, and some other news seemingly about to be announced, right!? But alas, the market is not logical and it is impossible to determine.
I asked Rich a while back about the transfer of the 51% and he responded, 'patience'.
I hope this translates into something good for all of us. Good luck share holders. It would be nice to see this stock take off!!!!
After more than a year, and huge losses, today is the day. Today I sell.
As i stated previously I feel so damn foolish at what I have done, i.e. believed that this company had the piss and vinegar to take off. I was already counting my money. Foolish, noobey mistake.
I commit to learning from this enormous error and carry that lesson forward. Those lessons are:
1. Pinkys are not investments.
2. A company is likely not viable if it is run by one person, out of their garage, even if promises are huge and the hat that person is wearing is honorable.
3. Bad news regularly, on an on going basis is very real, and should be taken as such.
4. Stops are important and should be honored.
5. These hubs are not gospel, only one other thing to read.
6. A rainbow can never be touched. It's not too far. It's out of reach. That is BVTK. It looked damn nice, but never could be touched.
Much luck to all. I did get an education while reading this hub on lots of things I hadn't known. Thank you. Much profit (elsewhere) to all!
One gets the sense that Tom deals with reality differently than most folk. Not sure what to call it but it is distorted. remember the movie "The Brother-in-laws" when one of them was running to escaped bullets and the other said, "serpentine, serpentine"......that's what i'm feeling here.
To be entirely honest and fair, the responsibility of holding on for so long is entirely mine and I am very disappointed in myself for doing so. I walked into "Oz" and got stuck to the yellow-brick road, which ultimately lead to the wicked witch. NOw i have to figure my way out.
Ugh, what an experience this has been! Ugh! I am sick to my stomach.
oh God! One of my stupidest ignorant investments in my entire life. Hang on, i'm giving myself a time-out. Moron, I am.
blah. those are my feelings. What do you think happened with BVTK? is this essentially run by a CEO who is particularly good at other aspects of his life however is unable to get things going in this field? There has not been a single piece of good news in all this time ive been watching this stock and having invested in it. Not one. While I take full responsibility for investing in a pink-sheet stock (an action i now see is not wise) i have to wonder too, who is this man Tom and where do his strengths lie, as they are not here.
could someone please explain what is meant, by 'Rich has promised the other 49% (or so) we'll be transffered to share holders? thanks!
really? the worst?
its hard to say what lies beneath the CEO of BVTK, really is. Is he writing this piece because he believes it? Or is he a bluffer? Of course there is a third option which is 'he knows not what he has done'.
Tom consistently writes as if the rainbow is in the sky and it leads us to a treasure. While he embellishes on that treasure creating a scenario which shines and glows an energy paramount to the sun, there is little evidence that any of this his happening. I"m well invested in this stock - WELL INVESTED! - and it is truly in my interest to believe this man, but I am having heck of a time doing so.
I am holding onto BVTK now because i couldn't possibly bare being out of the ring when this stock makes a big move, likely downward. I want to be here for the whole thing because I don't want to miss the ride. It's been absolutely nutty and no doubt, will continue to be so. The entertainment factor of this stock is magnificent!!!!
You?
Hungry Joe, with all due respect
i'm not sure what drives you to be so positive. I've read your post for quite some time now and they get me pumped, or did, but nowadays i have to wonder how you do it, with no sales, no revenue, no company really to speak of. I've launched a business and it doesn't work like this, especially when the fellow managing it is so respected, revered, accredited, connected. There is no business here Hungry Joe. If there were we'd see a print out showing companies buying it's product. But there isn't one because Tom really doesn't know how to run a profitable venture. Government is easy. You get a ton of cash, can spend it how you want with no transparency and often are considered a genius even though you might not be. So here we are Hungry Joe stymied but your belief in this stock. I"m not sure, but i with i had the view you did. I truly do.
great post (i'd spell your name here but it's just too intense)! I so agree with you and would welcome such a pr. YOu sized up our challenge entirely, better than anything i've read in a year. Ya Tom, you took my money, and of course i gave it to you, and you gave it a shot and it just didn't pay off. Let's shut the light, close the door and all go home. We could all find some greater solace with another stock, and a kinder more gentler hub having to do with it. Go BVTK.....and get some rest! And give us all a break :)
i got into this stock about a year ago and was active on this hub. i have not been around for a while following one disappointment after another. Of course, like many i was convinced of Tom's greatness but nothing has encouraged that belief in a long time. I just don't see it as much as I try and I'm holding a shi-- load of shares. I know there are many here who still believe in Tom as a CEO. I've read the posts but frankly the news continues to be flat to bad. The number of shares outstanding is gargantuan and the company is just not making deals. If it is they are puny. Ugh. So incredibly disappointed.
Jpot, what do you think it is that is compelling OWCP management to remain so quiet? I have written a theory here, on this hub, before stating: it is the Israeli way to hold one's cards as close to their chest as possible. This emanates from a number of things including the fact this county is consisting at war with its neighbors, and therefore chose to remain air-tight about available information, as the more info flowing around the less control.
there was a time back when one of OWCPs management got really pissed off at someone on this hub for consistently asking questions and requesting PRs etc. He called it a waist of time and ridiculous.
I don't think OWCP is a scam. If i did i wouldn't own a substantial amount of shares from well over a year ago. I do think however, knowing the culture having lived in Israel and worked closely with Israelis that they have not acclimatized yet to a more western way of sharing information (not all but some) in an open and what appears to be, fair way. There is a certain 'I'll tell you what i want when i want or else you will have a way of attacking me' component to all of this.
This attitude is a challenge to fight. Of course we on this hub and otherwise can push and insist for information however the interesting thing about OWCP's management's way of sharing, or not, is don't keep pushing because the more you do, the more we'll recoil.
So we wait and wait and hope for the very best even though there is indeed a tremendous sense of 'come on guys, we're owners in your company, our company'. Ce la vie. I guess every stock has it's foibles and challenges. the lack of information forthcoming is ours, but in the long run, this might never-the-less be very good despite the dome of silence we are currently outside of.

When i first heard about this stock i scrambled t invest in, after starting a brand new account in a house which allowed trades from an entity that had been flagged. I worked hard to put this investment together and was thoroughly mesmerized by Tom.
And since then i have lost quite a bit of money and hold little hope for its future. i am disappointed and come to the conclusion Tom has not made the switch from government to true entrepeneur/businessperson. He just hasn't.
This statement is not meant to undermine the man or take away from his very impressive resume, but he really seems like he's floundering. The hows have all been mentioned.....raising cash, creating revenue etc.
I honestly got married to BVTK more so than any other stock. Don't know why but I might have well been in Vegas the way i responded to his hyperbole, bravado and natural pride.
So what to do? I"m going to stay with it until all my money is gone, or not. Its just one of those things we get into and decide on no STOPS. Much luck to all. A tremendously huge learning experience. Go BVTK Go!!!!
OWCP is essentially a somewhat-established start-up. I say somewhat because while it's been around for a few short years, it does not as of yet have commercial product available.
What we do know however is that OWCP has one of the most well respected management team in and out of Israel.
What we do know is that someone just invested a decent amount of money in this stock which none of us would do (if offered an investment opportunity) if the possibility of upside wasn't sizable.
What we do know is that CBD and TCH stars are rising pharmaceutical stars. Do your DD on a regular bases and you'll discover the innovations having to do with these cannabinoids has never been seen before. This plant is incredible and any of us who have invested in OWCP know that: an awesome product + a worldclass team + cash = success.
As I've always said, OWCP could tank? We've seen greater falls from the stock market graces, however there is a lot to believe in here. I do and look forward to the next 18 months, a lot.
Rufus
The challenge to day trading and watching and posting on this board on a daily bases, is one gets the belief that the market actually trades in a big way according to short-term dynamics.
To me, the only way to look at OWCP is through a wide-angle lense, recognizing the foreground is a ways a way from the background.
OWCP has a solid team and a decent game plan and products (or what appears to be). Give them time and await the results, which in my estimation, will be positive. There are lots of stokes in the fire and the results therefore could be hot!!!
I do wish the company would update us more so - that is a challenge - but I accept to that they are protecting their intellectual property by holding back. Ce la vie. Go OWCP go!!!
i appreciate your positivity although i'm not sure why you are? While BVTk has lots of parters, it has next to 0 sales. I'm assuming you'll say that sales will come, which is fine however what might direct you to that conclusion?
i got into OWCP b/c i didn't want to miss the opportunity of playing out the MJ journey, as I did with other markets (like 3-d printing) etc. I'm also looking at AI market to see what looks tasty there, as the market is really kicking in.
As per OWCP, it is exciting partly because of the Israel component, a country which has been developing her expertise in THC, CBD etc for decades. Israel has more start-ups than the EU combined which means that the character of its country includes a strong entrepreneurial base as well as a scientific and commercial leaning.
If OWCP should ever tank - which i doubt- it's not because of its true expertise, just something they hadn't considered as it hadn't been discovered up until then.
That being said, go OWCP go. I know we look forward to that day, that moment, when news does come out, and it states: 'OWCP secures $50 million sale of tablet'. That will be the day we've been waiting for. Go OWCP go!!!
p.s. Do you have an exit strategy? want to share?
I'm not sure I would say owcp is captivating everyday. There are days where i leave my screen to watch paint dry on my canvass. That being said, when this thing blows, it'll blow and that means evolving from research to research and sales. Sometimes I wish i had not heard of this stock until today(ish), rather than going through all the suffering we stock holders have had to experience. But ce la vie. There are few rules to the market, at least those you can count on. Go OWCP go!!!! ps. when i do a spellcheck on owcp i get 'cowpocks'. you explain that lol
If the market was a personality, we would deduce quickly it acts randomly, much like some politicians we are privy to. There seems to be very little rhyme and reason to it's activity. So therefore when OWCP has an amazing day on Friday, one can expect: a) a better day Monday; b) a worse day Monday; or c) a ho-hum day Monday. That is it. it could go any way.
As to whether there will be news from OWCP, we just don't know. They may or may not release some. If they do, that is a blessing, yet there is no guarantee at all this will occur.
In fact, after watching markets for a long time, I can honestly say, I have absolutely no idea what will happen tomorrow/this week.
The only thing i have is hope both in the possibility of a very healthy day/week, and in OWCP itself. That being said, hope can be iffy. So, what is my point. Shut off your computer and go watch a great movie, like Wall Street. Forget about your holdings. Watching day-to-day will kill you because you start believing the big money is thinking the same thing you are. They aren't.
Go OWCP. I'm going back to bed.
Good shabbos Gary, and thanks for the insight.
im blown away by some of this DD. despite the stock and anything inherint to it, there is some impressive stuff going on, on this board. and of course, some not impressive stuff :)
I haven't posted here for a while, mostly because I got bored and lost my excitement over this stock. I have been watching it for a long time and holding a ton of stock, but cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The price of the share has consistently gone down, and down and down, and my unrealized losses are enormous. I don't see any revenue and began to question the veracity of Tom's statement about sales.
The partnerships are consistently questionable and frequently with other pinkees. What am I to find that is positive? If you have new refreshing ideas, preferably not about the 'perfection of Tom' let me know.
I could use some inspiration here. I rushed to set up a Canadian account to accommodate trading this stock, one which was not up to date on its financials at the time, and would very much like to believe in it again. If I can't I will move on and take my lumps.
Your positive thoughts please?
i drop by here daily as im holding shares and find it so depressing. Nothing much changes in terms of the dialogue. There are those who love BVTK with all their heart, mind and soul and those who disparage it as if it is a pinkee evil incarnate stock. ugh. I honestly can't figure this thing out as much as I read and do my own due diligence.
So i'm going to hang on to it because it's become this stock that I've sweated over, over time and somewhere along the road got married to (a no-no in investments and OTC), and feel i owe it to myself to ride it out, if need be forever. Ugh x 2.
AS someone once commented I would do myself well to lock this baby up, and return in say, three months, and then in another three months if the bid is higher than 0.
God bless all of you. Like anyone i'm hoping this zooms north. Like many, I don't see it. 8.5 billion is a frickin huge number.
From a purely emotional point of view: remember board participants how so many of us were following JF for so long, quoting him and respecting his knowledge and position within the MJ world?
Why would a man do such a thing? Of course the obvious answer is greed, but still, this seems to be such a stupid and misguided crime, if indeed what we've read in the lengthy document is true, or true-ish?
I am at a loss to understand human greed. Here is a fellow who had the MJ industry by the nuts;understood it (or so it seemed) and was well respected. Go back on his some of the interviews he did. Knowledgeable. Bright. Encouraging.....and then tosses it away to buy a piano. Really, what a silly, stupid move on his part after so many years of being an MJ kingpin.
Oy! OWCP will likely do fine. SEC is not identifying them as criminals and for good reason. They too were duped by this man who purported to be a big fan of the stock and spoke highly of it in a number of capacities.
Damn. It just makes one so sad to be privy to this mishandling of many people's trust, of our trust and our money! JF, may God forgive you. May shareholders do the same.
Go OWCP go!!!!
OWCP is a reputable company in an industry plagued by greed - pharma. these things are not surprising but we need to remember who the management team is and how outstanding they are. this is the real deal, and will continue to grow and produce. I am holding on to all my shares and might add to my bundle. Go OWCP go.
If such a scenario came to fruition - the bombing of Israel and/or Iran - this conversation would curtail as would our concern with OWCP. The situation would be such that the world's problems would be much greater than IPs, patents and clinical trials. Much greater!
lol. Excellent!!!!
I own, what I would construe as a reasonable amount o shares in OWCP, enough so that it allows me to dream big. Should OWCP perform uber-positively an multiply dramatically the pay-off for me will be a healthy one.
Do i fear this will not be the case. I do, from time to time, because I believe, that is human nature. When one says you have t have absolute faith in the company you've invested in, I believe the meaning behind that is, hope for the best. Yet, we all know that there are stocks that were so robust in nature, so well respected, yet they tanked.
I say this because I find it cathartic to share my true feelings about my OWCP investment. Do I believe, however, that the gains will come in a substantive way. I do!!! Big time. I await those days so i can stop worrying; So i can help others; So i can enhance my lifestyle which is now quite reasonable, but can be better. I'd rather drive a Range Rover than a 2007 Nissan Sentra.
So are these conflicting views? yes and No. It is the nature of the stock market. It is the nature of the OTC investor, or any investor for that matter. It is life.
If/when OWCP spikes up after ground-breaking, cosmos changing news, I will jump so high i'll hit the ceiling with the crown of my head. if however the stock just does not make it, say because Marijuana just is not what we thought it was, well then I'll continue my life budgeting a lot and sometimes saying no to my son when he asks me for the newest PS4 machine - because they are expensive.
I like to dream. I like having dreams to draw upon during the rain. I like to be liked, so being wealthy would make that so :) Until then I'll just have to rely on my personality :)
go OWCP go!!!!
The fact that Yitzhak Tshuva was in attendance is enormous. We now have an extraordinary management team, with enough influence to attract #7 of Israel's wealthiest.
This speaks volumes about the confidence OWCP exudes and attracts. IMO the way to manage my personal investment in this stock is to recognize that 12-24 months is required to ignite the PPS. That is because clinical testing of this kind is a slow, painfully slow, process and if one is to invest in pharma (as we are), this must be accepted.
All the signs are there. Changes in OWCP timeline is perfectly normal and to be expected. Go OWCP go. Thank you to whomever, for recording the speech yesterday. It was inspiring as hell!!!
I'm listening to the presentation. It's a talent to present in 20 minutes, in the way that he did, very articulately.
Not to sound like a broken-record, but the silence (other than this conference) does not surprise me because this is a function of where they operate - Israel. Silence is a virtue there.
As per going forward, OWCP has cash (can always use more), a decent market cap, an amazing ground-breaking product, and an exemplary team.
The good Dr. state clearly that they are concerned with share-holders and I believe him. And to me, the thing that makes me add to my load of shares, is that one fellow on the management team's name is Big Nuts.
I think that says it all.
Go OWCP go!!!!!
OWCP is very much Israeli. By this I mean, the management subscribes to its own culture, which is to share very little until one has to. I have written about this before, however not received any bites on this point.
I have lived in Israel and studied there and am painfully aware of a value which is very strong in that country, and that is: giving out information unduly could create a weakness. I don't have to go into where this culture came from (it's clear why a little country like Israel would keep information close to its chest) however suffice it to say, that information will be forthcoming when management deems it should and when there is something big to say. otherwise you must wait, and wait and often wait again.
This is my mind, is normal and does not scare me. WE're looking great an OWCP will perform in a marvelous manner. Be patient. No choice!! what a day!!!!
Conference: Can you tell me the date, and time f OWCP presentation? What are the expectations on this board re. that presentation. Last year, it evolved into being a balloon with no air - flat. This year, are we expecting something special? thanks.
