Here I thought the amyloid hypothesis was dead. Guess not lol.
I read through the amendment. What does it mean?
Found this on bio Twitter
$NTRP https://t.co/RPDaMmkeg1 20Aug update shows later actual 1CD of 25Jul than previously company PR'd 1CD of 15Jul - not sure why - and not exact science, but based on prior Ph2a data release time, this data should be PR'd ~26Sep (using 25Jul 1CD) - either way, data is not late

You are right. That would be good time to release bad news. Even better AH. I’m not expecting to hear anything tomorrow:)
As far as I know good news isn’t usually released on Friday, especially AH. Should be next week or two according to the experts lol!
At this point most of us on this board have been here for years. We will finally have “Black and White” results soon. Despite the current SP everything seems to be on track.
If I recall correctly it was 25.

The next question is what is the long term durability.
I see a Noble prize in his future. I’m about halfway through his book Memories Voice.
Dr Alkon mentioned on
“If it weren’t for the near-total dominance of the idea that #amyloid is the only appropriate drug target,” Daniel Alkon said, “we would be 10 or 15 years ahead of where we are now.” Excellent reporting on a sobering topic by @sxbegle. https://t.co/fXRYOHsaZB

Bought another 100 yesterday.
Think I heard him say he expects next results to be similar or better.
Is there an audio link to today’s presentation? I was going to try to go but couldn’t make it.
Lots of competition in the ALZ diagnosis space No mention of pkc levels though.

Wow great read Antti! Thank you
Won’t be playing on air till next week:(
Dr Alkon on NPR.
@Neurotrope1's founder and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Dan Alkon on-site @NPR in Washington, DC. @NPR 's @NPRjonhamilton interviewed Dr. Alkon about #Bryostatin, the only drug in development for moderate to severe #alzheimersdisease. #AllThingsConsidered #MorningEdition pic.twitter.com/erMf3Ae3oR

Amyloid theory finally dead? The tide is turning. People will have to start to look at different MOA now.
Think we’ll get a bump from this?

Yep. Enrollment complete
I picked up another 500 @3.91. Couldn’t help myself.
Pretty sure this video was posted awhile ago but I stumbled upon it again this morning. Dr Alkon back in 1993 talking about his new book on memory

All we have to do is beat the current Standard Of Care. The bar is low.
This approach interested me. Gene therapy has along way to go in AZ but anything that can help without focusing on b amyloid seems like a step in the right direction

Wow. Look at that volume.
Thank you for the notes. Missed this one.
Traumatic Brian Injury is one that’s also been mentioned. Believe they have tested in mouse models and I have some memory of the military testing it in the field.
Volume certainly has picked up recently
Biggest volume I’ve seen in awhile
Been adding the whole way down. Someone is selling.
Happy thanksgiving everyone! Haven’t posted in awhile but still read every post and link. Very grateful for this board! Been adding little bit at a time down here. I would think that as patients in this conformity show some improvement word would eventually trickle out from family members, doctors etc. I have high hopes for us and the millions of people and family members who suffer from AZ. Cheers to you all!

Worth a quick read. Of course I’ve seen about 100 other articles through the years with the same title. Stanford connection though.
Yet still nobody notices us.
Just more confirmation that Alkon is at the forefront in AD.
Nibbled alittle here. Going to keep adding on the way down.
Stay safe Coach.
BIIB endpoint for this phase 2 was for 25% reduction in cognitive decline. Not sure what scale. We’ll see. Hoping for some additional info from us as well.
