my wife keeps asking me that same question. lol. here is who I am. a former sec. treas. in the petro chem. field and part owner, who sold this business to the Koch boys many years ago. oh, I forgot you young ones now call it a CFO. a former officer in the US Army during the Korean War, and an old former politician from N.J. as far as computers are concerned, when I was much younger we had IBM machines as big as some of these pro footballers of today and 6 keypunch operators and 2 guys that wired the boards. is that enough?as i said previously, your lucky i can stil punch these keys on this dam thing. Big Al
this article was published at 10:29 am this morning and is over 10 paragraphs long with the statement being made by the new CEO. on AOL just put in sgyp and go to latest news. the outfit that put this out is headed up 4 traders. at this age you are lucky i can even put this computer on. lol I have even been in touch with Market Watch wanting to know why the have posted this FDA decision on their site.why are you having finding this news?
p.s. the site is called 4-traders
do me a favor, put in sgyp and go to latest news, thats all. how come an 87 year old fart can do this and you young guys have trouble. c'mon guys wake up;.
my advise since they do not give out much info it might just be advisable to just go and read it on their site. (latest news)
the statement today by Troy Hamilton says it all. very informative and in detail.
how the hell long does it take for Scott to make the transition over for the change to the new sickly number.
another A/H heard from
wow, one of the best articles I have ever read on shorting. this guy has them all covered. I always wondered how the hell they keep getting away with this kind of manipulation.
it would appear that today we watched a lot of paint dry. it has been pretty much that way for the last few days.
anyone know what was discussed at this meeting on July 28? was a reverse split voted on. what the hell else took place.
ETF was the culprit behind the drop in the biotech group my friends. check it out.
I saw in our local newspaper an article that was announcing a meeting of the support lupus group in Coral Springs, Florida in a week or so. I sent them an e-mail about Aurinia and what is taking place at the present time and if they where not aware of it to take notice. i do believe this is something that these people need to be aware of. my wife and I lost one of our dear friends to this dreaded disease and along with the fact we who invest in the company are up to date with the situation it is very important these people with Lupus are aware also. she said that their CEO was in Washington D.C. and met with a representative of Aurinia. enough said
Moose, I am afraid I find that I can not agree with you. If anyone out there in stock land thinks that a company who shows no earnings, has to issue more stock for R & D or whatever, and is involved with a drug that needs FDA approval is not a speculative stock needs to find something else to do with their money. With 50 plus years of trading behind me, I find this statement was unnecessary who in the hell do you think is out there and not aware of what this company is all about and ready to invest.
I must say, I can't believe he uttered that phrase about it being a speculative stock. lets face it, the whole world knows that do we have to remind them. a personally think that was a bad choice of words in an interview
cervelo, I must agree. he certainly needs a haircut. my old lady gave me one yesterday and if he is interested I will fly her up there if he is interested. (- -)
3 small biotech stocks being run by proven winners. another article on Market Watch this morning by the Motley Fool. I think they like us.
hey Moose, notice the Motley Fool made sure this second article by them also came through in the early evening like the previous one. no stirring the troops up while the market was in progress. we can wait until Monday to see if it has any affect on those keeping a close look at things that are going on. it might stir up the corp. buyers, but do not hold your breadth in anticipation. Big Al
not sure if it is the same article. have been doing some gambling in a casino and just returned. lets face it, for the Motley Fool to give us a lift is a rare gift these days.
a great article this morning about Aurinia by the Motley Fool this morning in Market Watch. give it a look.
Phase 111 study gleaned from Phase 11 study as reported today. go to Aurinia site or read S/A
If you have any doubts about who is running this show, just take a look at the volume today and most of this past week. we can't even get over a million shares a day lately no matter what the news. it is uncanny how they can control this whole thing no matter what. as I have said before, short trading should be banned in this market. that is just my opinion and has been for some time.
I get the feeling that we were hit in the head with a 2 x 4 today.
we cannot even get to 2M shares on a day like this.
looking at the trading going on and lack of activity as usual, it would appear to me that our friends the shorts still seem to have us by the shorts or as we say in Jersey the calhouns.
is that a/h trade correct? 188,000 shares 5 min after the close?
I have a gut feeling that today is the end of the so called carnage and by the end of next week with some positive news we will be attacking 7 bucks. time will tell.
it would appear we broke that barrier.
bought more shares today in anticipation of tomorrows presentation by Mr. Glickman where I am sure he will many uplifting things to say about this company.
if one is to follow the volume each day and come to the realization that when the volume is way below what the normal daily average is, there is something amiss. the boys are cleaning up on the weakest of investors for those days or weeks, what ever the hell it is. when will they learn? and the beat goes on.
a g/d miracle
checking the amount of shares being traded in a/h, I think they arrived there lol
if it does, I will make it my business to buy another 5000 shares.
another buying opportunity.
it is my firm opinion that you are absolutely correct. i personally also think that this will happen a lot sooner then people think. I was personally involved with the sale of 2 companies a number of years ago and was at that time the youngest of partners who was amazed at how much sooner the closing took place.
excuse me if my might digress for a moment: as a Korean War vet we honor those who did not make it on Monday, the real heroes in war. have a good holiday.
has anyone who is posting here realize not once in probably the last few weeks has the volume even come close to what the normal 65 day volume is? in all the years I have been trading all this tells me is the MM's are working this one like I have seen many times before, a tactic like you can not believe goes on in this kind of market.
its time for me to leave the board tonight and go to you tube and listen to Artie Shaw and the band play Begin the Beguine and some Helen Forest music with Artie. bye.
Looks like there is much ado about nothing lately.
here is a good example of how this market works. a few weeks ago I noticed a company my son and I are familiar with was being taken down to a price lower then their lowest price of a year. we both bought a fair amount and I said to him mark my words, the CEO who is a major stockholder will be buying a sh==load also.today my forecast was realized. just playing the game.
