The share structure is where it is because they did a 1 to 1000 reverse split last year. Go look at their financials. Zero revenues every year and you think its going to $1? lmao More like no bid when those extra 1 billion shares hit the market. Yes, they are called "trades" because there has to be a buyer to match a seller, but when the trade takes place on the bid, it is technically a sell and when it occurs on the ask, it is technically a buy. Now if I see a lot of people who want to sell shares on the ask, why would I not hold out for them to sell to me cheaper if I think they will? 10M shares for $7K vs 10M shares for $8K. If more people want to sell than buy, then the price is going to drop. If you don't believe me, hit the ask all you want while there are sellers and see what happens. LOL You also underestimate the importance of bid support. Without it, the share price tanks on any selling, and strong bid support spurs buying on the ask.

Has nothing to do with whether people buy on the bid or ask. It's all about supply and demand. If buyers outnumber sellers, the price moves up and vice versa. If there were no sellers, bids would not get filled, and buyers would have to slap the ask, forcing bidders to move bids up. Blame the sellers, not the buyers.
